This is one abbrevation I am going to use throught this FAQ:
RRF (running really fast)which refers to when your character is running really fast 
with illusions behind him/her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                1.Special move for Sonic
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While RRF, press B (once).
Sonic will roll like he does if you press B while standing still, but you will not 
lose much speed.

                                2.Special move for Cream
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a)While RRF, press B (It is up to you).
She will jump up and cheese will whirl round her the number of times you press B 
while RRF. 
b)While standing still or running at normal speed, press A then down on the coontrol 
pad and finally,B. Cheese will roll around Cream(once)like a shield. This also works 
for nearby attacks.

                                3.Special move for Tails
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While RRF, press B(once).                          
Tails swishes his tail to give a blade-like effect. He doesn't lose much speed.

                                4.Special move for Knuckles

While RRF, press B(once).
He dives forward with his hands in the front and spins really fast. He doesn't lose 
much speed.

                                5.To unlock Amy

I don't know her special moves yet. I haven't gotten her yet.
To unlock her, you have to complete the game succesfully with any one character with 
all 7 Chaos Emeralds.
