ABOUT
==============================================================================
ANYONE WHO IS NEW TO THIS GUIDE, READ SECTION 3.1
This guide is to assist those players who enjoy collecting rare or unique
vehicles. This guide lists all known vehicles with some special property that
can only be obtained during missions. Although this game does have a mission
replay feature (similar to The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC for GTAIV), it creates a
discrete instance of a mission, as opposed to a world continuous with the main
game world, and as such, vehicles cannot be retrieved via this method, as no
data is saved after completing a mission replay (except for mission objective
completion).
I wrote this guide with the Xbox 360 version, not the PS3 version. I don't
know of any differences between the different versions, at least that affect
this guide, however I will include any information on known version
differences as best I can. If you notice a difference, such as a particular
strategy or glitch not working, contact me and let me know (be sure to mention
which version you're playing).
CAUTION! This guide may inadvertently contain spoilers of story missions!
While this guide's scope does not really involve spoiling anything, due to
what is required of it, it does possess a list of mission names at the very
minimum, which may have the potential to spoil parts of the game.

*1* GLOSSARY OF TERMS
==============================================================================
This is a glossary of all the special terms used in this guide.
------------------------------------------------------------
VEHICLE NAMES:
Make - The company that produced a vehicle. This is the first name listed in
a vehicle's full name when inside of a vehicle. Some examples are Declasse,
Karin, and Albany. Multiple vehicles can have the same make listed.
Model - This is the traditional GTA vehicle name, and is located after the
make, and followed by a comma and the class. This is all that was shown on
the screen when getting in vehicles in previous GTA games, and most models
should be easily recognizable for veteran GTA players.
Class - This is the class of the vehicle, such as sports, sedans, or service.
This is simply a reference to what type of vehicle it is, and may indicate
performance (e.g., a sports car will be expected to perform better than a
sedan, while being less resistant to damage). The class is listed last in a
vehicle's full name, following a comma after the model.
------------------------------------------------------------
[F] - This is used to denote a mission that Franklin participates in.
[M] - This is used to denote a mission that Michael participates in.
[T] - This is used to denote a mission that Trevor participates in.
Any combination of the three letters may appear in brackets, describing all
characters that participates in a given mission (e.g., [MT] means that both
Michael and Trevor are part of the mission). Which characters participate in
a mission is based on which character have their missions completed stat
increased by 1 after completion (e.g., Trevor isn't listed in the prologue,
because only Michael gets credit for that mission).
PL - Pearlescent color. This is simply an abbreviation for pearlescent used in
vehicle names, to conserve space and reduce length.
RGO - Regular garage only. These vehicles either have some property that will
disappear if saved in an interior garage, or cannot be stored in an interior
garage. They must be stored inside one of a character's safehouse garages.
The specifics of the requirement will be outlined in each vehicle's profile.
UJ - Unjackable. Vehicles with this property cannot be stolen or driven by
the player, even though there's no reason the character couldn't break the
window and get in. It's even more ridiculous when they refuse to get on a
motorcycle. Regardless, you're simply not going to be driving a UJ vehicle.
UW - Unequipped wheels. These vehicles do not have any wheels shown as
equipped when modding them, despite the fact they obviously do have wheels.
The wheels category in the LSC garage will default to Sport, although the
vehicle actually has the default wheels of its class (e.g., Canis Mesa, an
off-road vehicle, will have the default Off-Road wheels, although they will
not be shown as equipped).
Blank plate - A license plate that is blank, with nothing on it. These seem to
be found in vehicles that involve switching to another character after a
mission they take part in, or at point in the game.
Branded - A branded vehicle contains decals, markings, or other indications of
belonging to a particular business or brand. Unbranded means the opposite: a
lack of branding, usually on a vehicle that normally is branded.
Classic - Classic colors are just the color in question with a glossy finish.
The only difference between classic and metallic is that the latter has a
pearlescent finish to it.
Description - A description of unique color/feature vehicles and WHY they are
unique. Vehicles with a unique color will have a description of the colors
available that most closely resemble their actual colors.
Difficulty - A general summary of the relative difficulty, out of 5 stars. The
difficulty level assigned to a vehicle will be based on the easiest strategy
that requires the least of or no mission failures, deaths, arrests, and
cheats. The existence of strategies that utilize those things are usually
much easier than ones without (i.e., the difficulty of obtaining a vehicle
may be in getting it without failing a mission, possibly putting it at 3
stars, while just accepting the mission failure would make obtaining it a
1-star difficulty).
------------------------------
* Car is practically (or literally) given to player during and/or
after mission, or requires very little effort with no skill or luck.
------------------------------
** Car is readily available, but requires a little luck or a minimum of
effort to successfully obtain.
------------------------------
*** Car requires some determination and manipulation of the game to
acquire. Possibly a little luck.
------------------------------
**** Car is difficult to obtain, some luck may factor in, and requires a
keen knowledge of and skill at the game.
------------------------------
***** Car is extremely difficult to obtain; very luck-based, requires
difficult maneuvers to succeed, such as pushing to a parking spot
despite a wanted level.
------------------------------
********** There's no god here today. Just this vehicle.
------------------------------
Discovered by - This is not necessarily the first person to discover a
vehicle, but rather the first person to report it to me. I will add the
original discoverer if I'm able to determine who originally found it,
however.
Equipped - This term denotes what features a vehicle is shown as having in the
customization garages. Normally, a vehicle will show its current features,
including colors, with an icon in place of the price on the list of options.
However, many special vehicles do not show any color on the list as the
current color, due to using a unique color not normally available.
Formulated by - This is who informed me of the strategy to obtain the vehicle.
Vehicles that were pointed out to be, but where I was given no strategy to
obtain it often lead to me developing the strategy, although most will have
the same entry for Discovered and Formulated by.
Jack - To jack a vehicle means to steal it. This is probably not a necessary
entry, but I figured I'd add it just in case.
Metallic - Metallic paint is the same as the classic color, but has a
pearlescent layer on top of it that adds a "luster" to it. When metallic
paint is equipped on a vehicle, it will unlock the option to change the
pearlescent color. Each metallic color has a pearlescent shade to it.
Modded - This simply refers to a vehicle that has modifications already
installed. This can make vehicles from missions unique since it may offer
modifications for a vehicle before they are unlocked to be purchased
normally. A list of the non-stock modifications the car is equipped with
will be provided.
Most Recent Vehicle - This is a self-descriptive term. It refers to the last
vehicle a character was inside. Note that it only considers vehicles a
character was actually inside of and driving, not as a passenger. The vehicle
"driven" does not have to have been functional, so even stalled and damaged
vehicles will work, so long as the game allows a character to get inside.
Palette - The selection of colors a vehicle can be found in. Usually randomly
selected when a vehicle is created. Each vehicle in the game seems to have a
discrete catalog of colors in their palette, rather than randomly choosing
from the entire potential list of colors available during customization.
Pearlescent - Pearlescent paint is a "luster" that is applied on top of a
metallic paintjob. Only metallic colors have a pearlescent layer, and all
metallics will have the layer. Pearlescent paint is what makes metallic
colors different from their classic counterparts. Each metallic color has a
default pearlescent that accompanies it when purchased, but it will also
unlock the option to choose a different pearlescent. Pearlescent is only an
option for the primary color on a vehicle, and will be applied to the
secondary color as well (if one is present).
Persistent vehicle - These vehicles are character's personal vehicles in the
game. Persistent vehicles are so named because they will retain upgrades and
changes made to them even if you end up losing it somehow. They will also
always spawn in certain locations (such as outside a character's safehouses).
These vehicles cannot be stored in interior garages, despite most being able
to fit.
Plate - An easier way of saying license plate. Usually only used in the
context of unique license plates. Normal "random" license plates follow the
format of 2:3:3 letters, numbers, letters. Several unique plate follow this
format, and are only classified as unique because it always has the same
combination, rather than a random one.
Random - Denotes a property that is randomized on a vehicle, such as color.
Rare - This is used in the guide to denote an "unlockable" vehicle.
Special (color) - A special color is one that does not exist in the color
menu during customization, which means the vehicle in question cannot be
replicated by customizing. A special colored vehicle's description will try
to explain which colors are the closest approximation of the actual color,
and in what way the special color is unique.
Unique - This vehicle is unique and found in story missions only, or other
limited-time availability missions, and thus can be missed altogether.
Unlockable - This term in my guide denotes a vehicle that is only infinitely
available either through story missions and/or by unlocking it at some point
through the story, whether by completing a mission, finishing a side mission,
or even a vehicle that is only available during a side mission, but is
repeatedly available by doing the mission over and over at your leisure.
Unobtainable - A vehicle that, for whatever reason, cannot be obtained and/or
stored with its properties. In GTAV, most UJ vehicles are unobtainable due to
being unable to get them to a garage (and in some cases, unable to store them
in an interior garage).
==============================================================================
*2* SAFEHOUSES AND GARAGES
==============================================================================
These are places to store your vehicles. There are two types of garages:
small, single-car garages, like in classic GTA games, and large, indoor
garages that can store multiple vehicles and are an interior.
SAFEHOUSE GARAGES:
-Can hold 1-3 vehicles
-Part of the game world
-Found at each character's safehouse
INTERIOR GARAGES:
-Can hold 4 vehicles
-Separate interior, with vehicles automatically aligned
-Unique for each character
-Will not hold certain vehicles (primarily vehicles too large to fit in the
characters' normal-sized safehouse garages)
-Allows access to DLC vehicles (and contains an infinite supply of them)
All garages are unique for the character listed, meaning other characters
cannot access them. Additionally, garages will only repair vehicles if enough
time has passed, or if the game is saved and then loaded. Repairs are not
instant, as in previous GTA games.
Unlike other open-world games, all garages only store one copy of vehicles.
If you take a vehicle out of the garage and lose it, it will be gone forever.
Make sure to always return your vehicles to the garage after use.
Capacity listed for safehouse garages is relative, with the actual capacity
depending on the vehicles that are stored. If all entrances to a vehicle are
blocked, the vehicle cannot be entered. If all entrances to all vehicles are
blocked, the garage is effectively clogged, and can only be cleared by blowing
up some or all of the vehicles inside.

MICHAEL'S GARAGES:
------------------------------------------------
INTERIOR: Vinewood Garage, Spanish Ave., West Vinewood
SAFEHOUSE: Michael's House, West Eclipse Blvd., Rockford Hills

(available after Complications)
------------------------------------------------
TREVOR'S GARAGES:
------------------------------------------------
INTERIOR: Pillbox Hill Garage, Adam's Apple Blvd., Pillbox Hill
SAFEHOUSE: Trevor's Trailer, Marina Ave., Sandy Shores
--Relative capacity: 1
(available after Mr. Philips
SAFEHOUSE: Floyd's House, Magellan Ave., La Puerta
--Relative capacity: ???
(available after Friends Reunited)
==============================================================================
*3* OTHER INFORMATION
==============================================================================
This section explains various things that won't fit elsewhere in the guide.
-----------------------------------------------
3.1 - Major changes from GTAIV
-----------------------------------------------
Several things have changed with regards to vehicle hunting between GTAIV and
GTAV. This is a quick list.
-Failing missions are no longer recorded as a statistic, leaving no "proof" of
failing a mission beyond owning a vehicle that requires it.
-Garages return from classic GTA, but are unreliable as a long-term means to
preserve vehicles. Parking spots no longer exist. The large interior garages
can save 4 vehicles very reliably, but will sometimes not allow certain
vehicles (such as the characters' personal vehicles).
-Most UJ vehicles are unobtainable, but some can be pushed or towed into a
character's safehouse garage to obtain them.
-Each character's garages are separate, however it is possible to
"transfer" a vehicle from one character to another by maneuvering two
characters close to each other, then having one get out of the vehicle and
switching to the other, and taking the vehicle. Otherwise, each character's
special vehicle selection is limited to what is found in their missions.
-"Lustered" vehicles are now pearlescents. Pearlescent is a secondary color
that is applied on top of any metallic color (and only metallics). In fact,
pearlescent is the only difference between a metallic color, and its classic
counterpart. The menu option to respray a vehicle as pearlescent is only
available if a metallic paintjob is applied as the primary color. Due to how
the game works with what color is "equipped" as the primary color, it is
possible to recreate any combination of normal and pearlescent colors and have
the result be identical to a seemingly-unique pearlescent vehicle found in a
mission.
-----------------------------------------------
3.2 - Character-switch vehicle retrieval
-----------------------------------------------
Often you will encounter a vehicle that cannot be parked in a safehouse for
some reason, even though you are able to get inside. However, it may be
possible to obtain it nonetheless, so long as you are able to switch to a
different character. Get inside, then switch to someone else. Waste some time,
then switch back to the previous character. If successful, they will either be
driving the vehicle in question, or it will be parked nearby.
A character not currently in use will return to their default vehicle at
midnight of a new day, however, so make sure not to spend too much time on
someone else.
==============================================================================
*4* UNIQUE VEHICLES
==============================================================================
These vehicles only appear during story missions, and once the game is
completed, cannot be acquired without cheating. Unique vehicles are denoted by
having a unique vehicle name not found elsewhere. Unique versions of existing
vehicles are found under specially colored/featured vehicles.
(none yet)
==============================================================================
*5* SPECIALLY COLORED/FEATURED VEHICLES
==============================================================================
These vehicles all have some special color or feature that is not normally
found on the vehicle. This makes them unique, as they cannot be found unless
obtained during the mission(s) where they are present. These can include
randomized pearlescent colors, colors not found in the respray list, features
not normally available on the vehicle, and unique license plates.
Descriptions will be provided, listing why the vehicle is special. Colors on
vehicles that cannot be customized are approximated.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.1 - Special Orange Bravado Bison
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Repossession [F] (Simeon)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: This is a bright orange Bison, not to be confused with the actual
"bright orange" color. The actual color is somewhere in between classic orange
and bright orange, and cannot be replicated with any existing color. It also
has unique lighting effects and what appears to be a bright white pearlescent
coloring.
--STRATEGY 1: Once you reach the alley, run to the Bison and get in. The
mission will fail once the window is broken. Choose to exit the mission, and
Franklin will still be inside the truck (or standing right outside). Drive it
to a garage.
--STRATEGY 2: This can be obtained without failing the mission, however
satisfying the time requirement for a gold medal may be more difficult. Once
the Vagos have been killed and the objective to catch the bike is displayed,
get inside the Bison instead of leaving the alley. Use the Bison to knock the
driver off the bike, and Lamar will drive it back to the meeting point. Once
you've taken the bike there, it will be parked nearby.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades
NOTE: lol232 reports that in some versions of the game (possibly the European
version), jacking the Bison results in an instant mission failure upon
breaking the window. This results in the Bison vanishing after exiting the
mission, leaving strategy 2 as the only viable method of obtaining this
vehicle.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.2 - Special Yellow Karin BeeJay XL w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Complications [MF] (Simeon)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: StuntmanSnake
Unique license plate: [57EIG117]
Description: This is the same BeeJay XL that is found after this mission,
however this one differs by having a 'unique' license plate in addition to the
unique color. It's questionable how unique the license plate really is,
though, as it follows the format for randomly-generated ones, even though it
is the same each time.
--STRATEGY: This will be found in the showroom immediately after the mission
ends. If this is not taken immediately (before leaving the area), it will lose
its unique license plate and become vehicle 5.3.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.3 - UW Metallic Black Canis Mesa w/ blank plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Complications [MF] (Simeon)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Timcatgt
Description: A metallic black Canis Mesa with a random pearlescent color and
an uncovered back. The license plate is blank, and it doesn't show any wheels
as equipped, even though it has Off-Road default wheels.
--STRATEGY: This can be found by switching to Franklin immediately after
completing the mission. Once in control of him, head north, and this will be
parked alongside the road. Note that this vehicle is spawned by the event with
Franklin talking to Lamar on the phone, and if Michael gets too close to the
location of the event, it will prevent the event from happening.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.4 - Special Yellow Karin BeeJay XL
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: After Complications [MF] (Simeon), before Father/Son [MF] (Michael)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: Jimmy's SUV, purchased from Simeon during the ending cutscene of
Franklin and Lamar. Its color is unique, being somewhere between classic
yellow and classic race yellow, with different lighting.
--STRATEGY: After finishing the mission, leave the BeeJay XL in the car
dealership and go do something else (or load an autosave made after the
mission). When you return, the vehicle will still be there, but will no
longer have a unique license plate. This vehicle will stay in the dealership
until either you have passed Father/Son, or a character enters the vehicle
(whether they actually take it or not).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.5 - RGO Red PL Roof Matte Yellow Karin BeeJay XL
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: After Complications [MF] (Simeon), before Father/Son [MF] (Michael)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: Sitting in Simeon's car dealership after the mission, this is a
matte yellow BeeJay XL with a classic dark steel secondary color. The primary
color is not equipped, despite being exactly the same as matte yellow. The
roof (which is the secondary color) has a red pearlescent color to it, which is
very unique considering that it only affects the secondary color, not the
primary.
RGO reason: The red pearlescent on the secondary color will disappear if saved
inside an interior garage. Additionally, choosing to respray the primary color
during customization will also remove the pearlescent (although the secondary
color can be changed if desired).
--STRATEGY: After finishing the mission, there will be vehicles inside the
dealership. These will continually appear until finishing Father/Son. This is
the BeeJay XL farthest inside the dealership. However, initially upon
finishing the mission, this will be a red BeeJay XL. Load an autosave from
after the mission, or drive a distance away and back, and it will now be
replaced with this vehicle. This will continue to respawn no matter how many
are taken.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.6 - Taxi w/ blank plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Father/Son [MF] (Michael)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: StuntmanSnake / Lancet Jades (easier strategy)
Description: A plain, ordinary taxi that just happens to have a blank license
plate. The taxi does not seem to have a Taxi light on the roof.
--STRATEGY: The only way to obtain this is to switch to Michael shortly after
finishing the mission. He will be getting out of the taxi. Quickly get inside
and take it to a garage. Alternatively, loading an autosave from immediately
after the mission seems to generate a random Michael switch event, with this
Taxi as his active vehicle, making it that much easier to obtain.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.7 - Branded White Bravado Bison w/ winch
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Marriage Counseling [MF] (Michael)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing (Franklin in a SUV or truck helps)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: A special utility Bison with a winch in the back and branding for
McGill-Olsen Construction, "The Original Cowboy Builder." Similar to the lawn
care branded utility Bison.
--STRATEGY: This will require maneuvering Franklin and Michael to Michael's
driveway, near where the mission starts. Have Michael stand in the middle of
his driveway (near the Bison) on foot, then switch to Franklin and have him
drive to Michael's house. Get an SUV or light truck on the way (something like
a Cavalcade or another Bison is ideal). Once Franklin arrives at Michael's,
the mission icon should have vanished. Switch back to Michael once Franklin is
in the driveway, which will trigger Franklin to leave the vehicle and comment
on meeting Michael like this.
Then, have Michael jack Franklin's vehicle, and then push the Bison into the
nearby garage (be careful once it gets close to the garage door, or you can
pin the door shut and have to start all over). Once it is inside, drive away
from Michael's house until the mission icon reappears. The Bison should be
waiting inside the garage.
Formulated by: StuntmanSnake; refined by: Lancet Jades
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.8 - Special Red Dinka Blista
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Marriage Counseling [MF] (Michael)
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing (Franklin in a SUV or truck helps)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: A red Blista that is somewhere between grace red and blaze red.
--STRATEGY: This will require maneuvering Franklin and Michael to Michael's
driveway, near where the mission starts. Have Michael stand in the middle of
his driveway (near the Blista) on foot, then switch to Franklin and have him
drive to Michael's house.
Then, have Michael jack Franklin's vehicle, and then push the Blista into the
nearby garage (be careful once it gets close to the garage door, or you can
pin the door shut and have to start all over). Once it is inside, drive away
from Michael's house until the mission icon reappears. The Blista should be
waiting inside the garage.
Formulated by: StuntmanSnake; refined by: Lancet Jades
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.9 - White Vapid Speedo w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Chop [F] (Lamar)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Lancet Jades / StuntmanSnake
Unique license plate: [LAMAR G]
Description: This is what seems to be an ice white Speedo that has a unique
license plate.
--STRATEGY: After successfully finishing the mission, Franklin will be inside
this vehicle. Just drive it to a garage afterwards.
NOTE: This seems to sometimes appear when hanging out with Lamar. As such, it
is possible that this is not a "special" vehicle, per se, as it could be
obtained even after finishing the game. It will be updated when this is either
confirmed or refuted.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.10 - UW Special Black Roof Emperor w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: The Big Stretch [F] (Lamar)
Difficulty: *
Required: Mission failure
Discovered by: Lancet Jades / StuntmanSnake
Unique license plate: [07KZF345]
Description: Very unique, this Emperor possesses a special black color on the
roof (the secondary color), which has lighting different from any existing
color types. The primary color is classic dark blue. It also has stock
lowrider wheels, but does not show them as equipped, which makes it even more
unique. It also has a unique license plate, although this point is rather
moot, as it is already very unique, and the plate follows the normal plate
format.
--STRATEGY: Once the mission begins, quickly get inside and drive off before
either Lamar or Stretch can get inside. Once one of the two is left behind,
drive away until the mission fails, than exit it. Now take it to a garage.
Formulated by: Lancet Jades
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.11 - RGO "Humane Labs" Brute Boxville
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: BZ Gas Grenades [M] (Heist - Smart)
Difficulty: **
Required: Completing this mission before Bugstars Equipment
Discovered by: Lancet Jades / StuntmanSnake
Description: This Boxville has the Humane Labs and Research livery, which is
not one of the normal liveries for this vehicle.
RGO reason: This vehicle is too large for interior garages to accept. Only a
large garage such as Michael's safehouse can store it.
--STRATEGY: Keeping this requires jacking it during the mission and finishing
the mission with it as your active vehicle. Michael will be inside once the
mission is over, and it can be taken to his safehouse garage. Failing the
mission will cause the truck to disappear (even if currently driving it), and
it does not seem possible to cancel the mission. IT IS IMPORTANT that you do
this mission BEFORE Bugstars Equipment, or else this mission cuts directly
into the heist, and this truck will be lost!!!
Formulated by: StuntmanSnake
NOTE: It is possible to complete the optional objective and obtain this truck.
Simply make sure to shoot open the back doors and collect the package before
jacking the truck.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.12 - Red Nagasaki Blazer w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Nervous Ron [T] (Trevor)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: Skellington87
Unique license plate: [TPI1000]
Description: Trevor's red quadbike with a unique license plate. The plate hints
that this is a vehicle in service to Trevor Philips Industries.
--STRATEGY: Keeping this bike is as simple as getting on at the start of the
mission and driving to the airfield southwest of the start location. This will
fail the mission. Choose to exit, and Trevor will still be riding this quad
after the mission ends.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.s1 - Fathom FQ 2 w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stranger (Franklin): Paparazzo - The Sex Tape (Beverly)
Difficulty: *
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: StuntmanSnake
Unique license plate: [P4P4R4Z0]
Description: Beverly's car from the mission, this is metallic torino red with
a matte gray secondary color. The only unique feature is the plate, spelling
out Beverly's profession in no uncertain or undouchey terms.
--STRATEGY: Once the mission begins, quickly get inside and drive off before
either Lamar or Stretch can get inside. Once one of the two is left behind,
drive away until the mission fails, than exit it. Now take it to a garage.

5.x1 - Taxi w/ blank plate (2nd of 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Switch event: Talk with Tanisha [F]
Difficulty: **
Required: Nothing
Discovered by: StuntmanSnake
Description: A plain, ordinary taxi that just happens to have a blank license
plate.
--STRATEGY: During the earlier parts of the game, one possible event that may
occur when switching back to Franklin will be a conversation between him and
Tanisha. After the conversation ends, she will leave in this Taxi. The only
way to obtain it is to either have a Towtruck on hand to pull it (which might
be difficult), or to shoot at the car, hoping to either scare off the driver,
or kill him. Once the car has been stopped, either tow it into Franklin's
garage, or push it in with another vehicle (try to get an SUV or Van, as they
will push more effectively). Be careful of a wanted level if shots are fired.

*6* UNOBTAINABLE SPECIAL VEHICLES
==============================================================================
These vehicles are unobtainable for whatever reason is listed. This can
include any vehicle type from the previous sections, but as they cannot be
acquired permanently, there is no need to put them in those sections. Colors
are approximated, considering that these vehicles either cannot be customized,
or cannot be driven at all.
Only unobtainable vehicles with a noticeable, provable special feature or
color will be added. UJ and other unobtainable vehicles that cannot have their
color checked and have no obvious evidence of being somehow special will not
be added to this list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.1 - FIB w/ carbine rifle box
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Carbine Rifles [M] (Heist - Loud)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: A regular FIB truck with a wooden box of carbine rifles in the
back seat. This box is not found in these trucks outside of the target in
this mission.
Unobtainable: Failing the mission will cause the truck to disappear, and
completing it will lead directly to the heist. Although the truck is driving
around prior to the mission actually starting, it does not seem possible to
cancel the mission and prevent it from starting.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.2 - Black Burrito w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heist: The Jewel Store Job (Loud) [MF]
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Unique license plate: [RW1602BO]
Description: The only unique feature on this black Burrito is its unique
plate. It may seem like a standard plate, but it has four numbers in the
middle instead of the usual three.
Unobtainable: This van is an essential part of the mission and does not exist
outside of it. it will inevitably be left behind while escaping, and failing
the heist does not give an option to exit the mission. Even if it did, it's
highly likely the van would disappear anyways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.3 "Bugstars" Burrito w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heist: The Jewel Store Job (Smart) [MF]
Discovered by: Timcatgt
Unique license plate: [TODO PT1]
Description: This is a Burrito with the Bugstars livery and a unique license
plate. This van is not unique, despite seeming so, as they will randomly spawn
in the Bugstars garage outside of this mission.
Unobtainable: This van is an essential part of the mission and does not exist
outside of it. it will inevitably be left behind while escaping, and failing
the heist does not give an option to exit the mission. Even if it did, it's
highly likely the van would disappear anyways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.4 - Blue Nagasaki Blazer w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mission: Nervous Ron [T] (Trevor)
Discovered by: Skellington87
Unique license plate: [B3L13V3]
Description: This is Ron's blue quadbike, and it has a unique license plate
that hints at his paranoia and conspiracy theory-based personality.
Unobtainable: This bike is UJ during the mission, and will be long gone by the
time the mission is over. Failing the mission through any means and exiting
will also cause it to disappear, leaving no options for obtaining it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.s1 - Light Blue Rapid GT w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stranger (Franklin): Paparazzo - The Sex Tape (Beverly)
Discovered by: StuntmanSnake
Unique license plate: [POPPYMI4]
Description: This is (supposedly) A Rapid GT that has a unique license plate,
betraying that its owner is Poppy Mitchell. It is light blue, but the exact
color is nearly impossible to pin down as it is unobtainable.
Unobtainable: It will vanish after the mission ends, and cannot be obtained
before ending the mission. Failing the mission will cause it to vanish.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.s2 - Green "ProLaps" Caddy w/ golf club bag
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stranger (Trevor): Vinewood Souvenirs - Mark (Nigel)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: This is a green caddy with a ProLaps livery. What makes it
special is the presence of a blue golf club bag on the back. Mark uses this as
his escape vehicle during the mission.
Unobtainable: The only unique feature (the golf bag) will disappear once the
vehicle is refreshed, whether in an interior garage, safehouse garage, or
even impounded.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.s3 - Bronze Speedo w/ gardening equipment
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stranger (Trevor): Vinewood Souvenirs - Tyler (Nigel)
Discovered by: Lancet Jades
Description: This is a bronze Speedo van with a rake and a bag of gardening
tools in the back. There is also a helmet in the back of the van, but this will
most likely fall out as soon as the vehicle accelerates.
Unobtainable: The only unique feature (the gardening equipment) will disappear
once the vehicle is refreshed, whether in an interior garage, safehouse
garage, or even impounded.
==============================================================================
*7* RARE VEHICLES
==============================================================================
These vehicles aren't anything inherently special, but are nonetheless unique
for various reasons, often requiring completion of a mission or side mission
to unlock. These can all be obtained at the end of the game without any
problem.
In GTAV, this also includes each character's personal vehicles, which are
persistent objects in-game, and will retain all modifications and upgrades
even if lost or abandoned. These personal vehicles cannot be stored in
interior garages, and will usually not properly save even in normal safehouse
garages.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.1 - Franklin's Classic Ice White Bravado Buffalo w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Franklin and Lamar [F] (Beginning)
Unique license plate: [FC1988]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: The proud tradition of the Buffalo as a high-powered muscle car
continues, albeit with it classified as a "sports" car in this game. This is
an excellent car with amazing acceleration, speed, and handling when fully
upgraded.
Missions the car may also be found in:
Franklin and Lamar
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.2 - Franklin's Metallic Bright Green Western Bagger w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Complications [MF] (Simeon)
Unique license plate: [FC88]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: This is a rather mediocre motorcycle that is given to (read:
forced upon) Franklin by Lamar. It is not necessarily a bad vehicle, but its
acceleration and handling leave something to be desired when it competes with
the likes of the PCJ 600 and Bati 801.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.3 - Michael's Classic Black Obey Tailgater w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Complications [MF] (Simeon)
Unique license plate: [5MDS003]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: A black four-door sedan with good statistics across the board.
Not a bad car, but rather unremarkable given how saturated the game is with
sedans. Both the primary and secondary colors are classic black.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.4 - Amanda's Metallic Torino Red Ubermacht Sentinel w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Marriage Counseling [MF] (Michael)
Unique license plate: [KRYST4L]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: The classic GTA car is back, with metallic torino red as the
primary color (with a bluish steel pearlescent), and torino red as the
secondary - because who can get enough torino red?
Missions the car may also be found in:
Father/Son
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.5 - Tracey's Metallic Yellow Weeny Issa w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Marriage Counseling [MF] (Michael)
Unique license plate: [P3RSEUS]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: This Issa has a unique plate and is metallic yellow with a
shadow silver secondary color. The secondary also seems to have a random
pearlescent color. Since this is a persistent vehicle in-game, it is likely
that the pearlescent is determined when starting Daddy's Little Girl, since
that is the first time this vehicle appears. However, the vehicle sometimes
spawns in the driveway prior to this mission, and if it does, the pearlescent
will be determined then.
Missions the car may also be found in:
Daddy's Little Girl
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.6 - Trevor's Garnet Red Canis Bodhi w/ unique plate
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlocked: After Mr. Philips [T] (Michael)
Unique license plate: [BETTY 32]
**Cannot be stored in an interior garage**
**Persistent vehicle**
Description: A rugged and robust pickup truck that handles fairly well in the
desert of Blaine County. Its speed and acceleration are not the greatest,
although upgrades will make it a formidable vehicle. The wheels of this truck
are the default off-road wheels, but they do not show up as equipped; a
slightly unique attribute.
==============================================================================
*8* VEHICLE LIST
==============================================================================
This is a list of all vehicles in the game, along with their make and class.
The lists are based on class, with vehicles in that class listed by model,
and the make afterwards. The model is the traditional GTA vehicle name, while
the make and class were mostly left unknown in-game.
In-game, when inside a vehicle, the game lists the make, model, and class in
this order and format: [MAKE] [MODEL], [CLASS]
If n/a is listed for the make, it means there is no make listed in the game.
If the make is listed in parentheses, it is not shown in-game, but it can be
seen during vehicle selection for races in GTA: Online.
NOTE: This list is under construction. Until this message is removed, I will
not be accepting additions from others for credit. Feel free to let me know of
a vehicle I missed, however I'm still playing through the game, so plenty more
will be added as I continue my playthrough.

*9* MISSION LIST
==============================================================================
A list of all missions in the game, along with what vehicles are available in
those missions. This list is the order used to sort the vehicles. Strangers
and Freaks missions are also listed. While the 100% checklist mentions 20 of
these missions, there are actually many more, with only some of them counting
towards the actual 100%. These list all of the missions, regardless of whether
they count.
Other sources are for various events that have vehicles. These include random
events (that flash the screen and appear as a blue or red blip), switch events
(which are special events that happen when switching to a character), and
various other places that don't warrant their own "mission" list.
Some missions do not count towards the 69 required for 100% completion, but
still have an entry in the Replay Missions list, as well as award a medal
based on completion of optional criteria (that count towards the 70 gold
medals achievement). These will be denoted with an asterisk (*) and numbered
with the same number as the previous mission in the list. This keeps the
numbered missions at 69 total while still including these "non-mission"
missions.
