2. Intro(intr)
After you start the game and set up everything for the first time, you hit new game
(right?) After that, a screen comes up and you see a barren wasteland and the
words "Dream World." This is your very first mission. You start with all the
weapons
you can ever hope to get in the game, Sting, your trusty walking stick, and the
rocks.(or stones.)If you want to find out about Bilbo Baggin's friends, then go to
the friends section in the other FAQ. Fight well, young grasshopper, and may the
Force be with you! Just kidding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. The Enemies of Bilbo Baggins (tebb)
This is what you've all been waiting for. No? Oh well. This is it! These are the
baddies, and they don't want Bilbo and the 13 dwarves getting to wherever they're
going. Hold on tight, 'cause this is bigger than the Beatles in the '60's! This
guide give you the following information, ie. for a Small Spider: (everything is
rated out of 10)
Race: Spider
Attack: 2
Defense: 1
Weak Spot: its whole body
Special: none
This gives you an idea what to expect. I will also give a physical disciption, and
some other stuff. Here goes...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Gollum, aka Smeagol (goll)
You never actually get to talk to him, or fight with him (darn) or do anything else
but watch him and Bilbo talk. He is no real threat at this point, but I feel that
he'll be later, so here's the lowdown. He's grey, slimy, and speaks weird.
Not the best combonation for finding the best date to the senior prom.
Race: a variation of a Hobbit
Attack: N/A
Defense: N/A
Weak Spot: N/A
Special: can't do anything with him
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Smaug, the Dragon of Erebor
Good Dragon, Good Dragon! That's what you would say if you met him awake. HE'S
EEEVVVIIILLL! He came when Dale was at its peak, and looted the place better than
James Bond could. So, he took one of the greatest halls of the Erebor, which is in
the Lonely Mountains, by the way.
Race: Dragon
Attack: OO
Defense: OO
Weak Spot: not that this will help, but the weak spot is on his chest, but this
won't help any.
Special: has an alertness meter. when it is full, he wakes up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. The Thieves of Lake-Town (totd)
These guys have stolen all the weapons in Lake-Town, including the Black Arrow from
Bard. Your mision is to get it back.
Race: Man
Attack: N/A
Defense: N/A
Weak Spot: N/A
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. The Wood Elves of the Mirkwood Forest (wemf)
These guys aren't really bad, just stubborn. But since they hinder your quest, they
are classified as an enemy. They will capture your troupe, but you, being the smart
Hobbit that you are, slip on your ring and you don't get captured. Then you have to
sneak inside the Elvenking's Palace and free the Dwarves from their clutches.
Race: Wood Elves
Attack: N/A
Defense: N/A
Weak Spot: N/A
Special: hightened senses, don't get too, close, even with the Ring on
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7a. Elevking Thranduil, of the Mirkwood Forest (etmf)
This guy's the leader of the Elves of Mirkwood. Later in the game, he will join
forces with the Dwarves and Men to deplete the Lonely Mountains of the hated
Goblins. His elves rival the skill of Bard of Lake-Town.
Race: Wood Elves
Attack: N/A
Defense: N/A
Weak Spot: N/A
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. Goblins (gobl)
There are a couple different types of Goblins that you can find on your journey in
Midle Earth. There are Mini Goblins, Large Goblins, and Large Armored Goblins. Of
course there's Bolg, the Goblin King, but you don't get to fight him at all. That's
Beorn's job. He's mentioned in Part 1.
Race: Goblin
Attack: Depends on the type
Defense: Depends on the type
Weak Spot: Depends on the type
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8a. Mini Goblins (migo)
These guys are the least annoying, but the most dangerous. How's that, you ask?
They
are the Demolition experts. That means they bombard you with these little grenades.
They are fairly weak, so just a couple hits will do the trick
Race: Goblin
Attack: 4
Defense: 3
Weak Spot: whole body
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8b. Large Goblins (lago)
There isn't much differnece between these Gobs (short for Goblins) and the Large
Amored Gobs, except for the fact that the Large Gobs don't have shields. Other than
that, they are the same.
Race: Goblin
Attack: 7
Defense: 5
Weak Spot: if you attack them, they will block it with their sword. Use a Jump
Attack with Sting, and then attack while they're stunned.
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8c. Large Armored Goblins (larg)
I think that these guys could qualify as Bolg's bodyguards. They are the same as
the
Large Gobs, but they have shields. Other than that, they are almost the same,
except
for their attack and defense power.
Race: Goblin
Attack: 9
Defense: 7
Weak Spot: You'll have to break their shields when they use them by using Sting
with
a Jump Attack. Then go crazy.
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8d. Bolg, the Goblin King (btgk)
This guy is the head honcho of the Goblins. He is defeated by Beorn in the
Battle of
Five Armies.
Race: Goblin
Attack: OO
Defense: OO
Weak Spot: None that you can exploit
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Spirits of the Necromancer (tsom)
These guys come in all shapes and sizes, but they all basically have the same
stats.
Some of them are wizards, others are archers, and some are swordsmen.
Race: no clue
Attack: 7-9
Defense: 7-9
Weak Spot: all over the bodily area
Special: None
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. Wargs (warg)
In the book, Wargs will usually be accompanied by Goblins, but in the game, they
are
usually alone or in packs. Their head of the pack is very powerful, and can shoot
lightning that will take away 3-6 health bubbles. The regular ones are somewhat
weaker, but can't shoot lightning.
Race: warg
Attack: 4-6
Defense: 3-5
Weak Spot: bodily area
Special: leader is different. stats are:
Leader Warg
Race: warg
Attack: 8
Defense: 6
Weak Spot: anywhere but the head
Special: shoots lightning
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11. Gnome Things [This isn't their real name] (gnth)
These guys are more annoying than gnats on a summer day. They are small, carry
proportionate pickaxes, and won't attack unless they see you. Luckily, they don't
have very good eyesight.
Race: I have'nt a clue
Attack: 2
Defense: 0.5
Weak Spot: body
Special: none
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12. Plants of the Forest (potf)
They come in many shapes and forms, but they are all the same. They all aren't real
plants, but they all hve teeth, and some them can shoot poison darts. They aren't
very accurate, but when they hit you, you're trapped.
Race: plant
Attack: 4
Defense: 2
Weak Spot: all over the body
Special: none
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13. Trolls (trol)
These guys have pretty good hearing considering the fact that they are big, fat,
and
stupid. There is only one level that you actually ecounter Trolls, and that's in
Roast Mutton. You have to sneak by them to get the Troll's Pocketbook.
Race: Troll
Attack: OO
Defense: OO
Weak Spot: The Sun, not that that'll help you any
Special: none
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
14. Stone Giants (stgi)
These guys are also in one mission only, and they're really annoying. All they
do is
throw large rocks at you. That would be fine, if it weren't for the fact that there
are about 50 of them! THAT'S A LOT!!
Race: Stone Giant
Attack: OO
Defense: OO
Weak Spot: i dont know
Special: none
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15. Spiders (spid)
They're freaky, they're annoying, and there are usually a lot of them together. DO
DO DO DO, DO DO DO DO (Jepordy Theme Song) AND THE ANSWER FOR $1.8 MILLION
IS... "Spiders??" YOU'RE CORRECT!! There are a lot of different varieties of
spiders.
Race: spider
Attack: depends on type
Defense: depends on type
Weak Spot: depends on type
Special: depends on type
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15a. Small Spiders (smsp)
These are the guys that you'll be seeing most of the time. They don't pose much
of a
threat, but in large nubers, they do. AND THEY'RE ANNOYING!!! Sorry.
Race: spider
Attack: 3
Defense: 2
Weak Spot: the whole body
Special: very weak in group
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15b. Red Spiders (rspi)
When I first saw these things, i said "is my game having a glitch?" No, it isn't.
These little rascalls are just like Green Siders, except for the fact that they
hurt
more. Plus, thy're larger than green spiders. Also, all the spiders are very, very
dangerous in groups over 3.
Race: spider
Attack: 6
Defense:
Weak Spot:
Special: most of the time, their bite is poisonous. beware
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15c. Green Spiders (gspi)
Green Spiders are the third most dangerous spider in the Middle Earth. That's
because they're harder to hit because they're smaller than their larger, red
counterparts. They are also poisonous, and need an Antidote to cure the poison.
Race: spider
Attack: 3-4
Defense: 1-2
Weak Spot: bodily area
Special: bite is poisonous, beware
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15d. Tarantulas (tara)
These are a step up from your average small spider. They are bigger, and pack more
of a bite. (Duh! They're bigger.) They are a slight orange color.
Race: spider
Attack: 6
Defense: 4
Weak Spot: bodily area
Special: stronger than regular spider, aren't poisonous
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15e. Armored Spiders [aka Large Spiders] (arsp)
These guys have something very strong on them. They are stronger than the
Tarantulas.
Race: Large spider
Attack: 8
Defense: 7
Weak Spot: Underside. Use a Jump Attack, and then attack until it dies.
Special: strong topside, very big
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15f. Very Large & FREAKY Spiders (vlfs)
There are only three of these that you get to see, and unfortunately, they're all in
the same place, an virtually at the same time. The green one is the smallest, blue
medium, and red is VERY LARGE AND VERY SCARY! If you think I'm a wuss, wait till
you
see them. That'll make you eat your words for dinner. I'll give a different stats
collumn for each of them.
LARGE GREEN SPIDER
Race: Large Spider
Attack: 10
Defense: 10
Weak Spot: Underside, jump attack if possible
Special: The underside and fire rocks are its only weakness, so grab the fire rock,
get to a safe distance, throw them, and throw them some more. All spiders are prone
to fire.
LARGE BLUE SPIDER
Race: Large Spider
Attack: 12
Defense: 12
Weak Spot: Underside, jump attack if possible
Special: I know that the limit is ten, but Blue Spiders attack and defense is more
than that. Same as the green one above for attack stragegy.
LARGE AND FREAKY RED SPIDER
Race: Very Large Spider
Attack: 15
Defense: 15
Weak Spot: Same as above
Special: same as above. each spider is stronger than the last one.
