Hints

Beating Lou Easily

When you are battling Lou on level 8, fail it, then go to the tutorial and pick Guitar Battle. Then, after the tutorial is over, face Lou. His difficulty will be brought down to easy. After you beat Lou, Through the Fire and Flames, will be unlocked.

1000 Note Streak

To get the 1000 note streak easily play the Dragonforce song completely without missing a note on easy.

Easy Strategy

After Lou gets his first attack, you will see an arpeggio of Red, Yellow, Blue and Orange. You will get an attack there. If it is a whammy, use it when Lou has the string of greens in the immediate next solo he has. Watch as his rock meter suffers!

Strum Faster/Quieter

If you have the Guitar Hero World Tour Sunburst Stratocaster ( If you don't know what one looks like, in the game, it is called the Focus guitar) Controller, you can use the up/down/left/right maneuver thing on the Xbox button to strum if you push it up or down.

*Play Hidden Chords On Hard For More Points

Like Guitar Hero II, while playing a song on Hard, it is almost like the notes on expert. So, after experimenting playing a song on Expert. I have concluded that you can play hidden chords in any song. (I do a lot of chords to try to get more acheivements, hope this works for you, too).

Easier Gameplay

Unlock the cheat hyper speed. Go to cheats and turn hyper speed to 1 or 2 and the notes on songs will go faster. This helps you see how far apart the notes are. Note: this does not change the actual speed of the song it just appears that way. You can also use this in career mode.

Sudden Death Drain

When you reach the Lou, who is the devil. He can give you a death drain. But only if the devil and you don't lose. In sudden death, the devil plays until he hits death drain and you don't play at all.

Free Playing

If you've ever wanted to just play different notes, then go to cheats under options at the main menu. Go to enter cheat and then just play different notes and cords. Play as long as you want.

Lefty Flip Trick

During battle, when they use lefty flips, look on your opponent's screen, if your playing the same difficulty.

Unlock A Flaming Guitar

Enter GRBO, Green, GBRO, Red, BO, Blue, GBO, Orange

Unlock All Store Items

Green, Red Blue, Yellow Orange, Red Blue, Green.

Unlock Everything

Hold each of the four color combinations and strum the guitar, then do the next 4 colors, etc. GRBO, GRYB, GRYO, GBYO, GRYB, RYBO, GRYB, GYBO, GRYB, GRYO, GRYO, GRYB, GRYO

Turn On Hyperspeed

Go to the Options menu, select Cheats, then enter in the following sequence: Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Yellow.
