Hints

Dribble Behind Back

When you have the ball on offense lightly press L then Y. Your player will dribble the ball behind his back.

Spin Move

When you have the ball on offense, press L then Y. Your player will dribble the ball and do a spin move at the same time.

Slam Dunk

Select arcade mode and choose a team. When playing, get close to the basket -- not under but slightly off to the side or front. Press A + Analog-stick Up. If done correctly, you should go around any defenders and make an awesome slam dunk.

Easy Points

Do a pump fake. When the CPU player jumps, drive the ball in for a basket. You can also drive to the basket and pass it out for a well lined up 3 pointer. The CPU players should all scramble to the paint.

3-Point Swish

To improve the accuracy of your shot shoot the ball at the end of your jump to swish it. I recommend using Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen or anybody wtih 85+ 3-point accuracy.

Give & Go Alley-Oop

To perform an alley-oop use Z to set a pick on your players defensive man and then pass using B and hold it then you should see your player going up for the alley-oop and then pass.

Extra Points On Dunks

When you dunk it on arcade mode, while you're on a bonus point value, you'll get an extra 2 points for the dunk. So try this and score more points!

Get The Controller Stress Test Menu

First highlight Skills Mode and press A.Do not pick practice mode or 3-point contest mode.Then,hold X and Y while tapping the joy stick up and the c-stick down.(Tap both joy stick and c-stick at the sametime).It took me a couple of times before getting it.The Controller Stress Test Menu is a "Cheat Menu".Only go in there if you know cheats!
