Whenever your Racing a boss in the circuit Take all the shortcuts you can and try to ride on the side of them (meaning you scrape the side and try to push them) and run them straight into a pole, wall, turn, or whatever there is in the way. it will give you a very good lead.

Unlock Nikki

To get Nikki into your crew, you have to beat the first 3 bosses. You will get a call from some dude who wants to join your crew. After you see that guy, you get a call telling you to go to the old courthouse. Once there, you will see a "movie". After that, you can now add Nikki to your crew. She has a Ford GT. She's a Drafter/Mechanic. She's really fast!
