Full Pause Screen

Pause the game and press X + Y.

Faster Replay

Hold X + Start during the instant replay.

Slow-motion Replay

Press B before the instant replay begins.

Alternate Costumes

At the character selection screen, hold Start and select a fighter.

New Training Mode Backgrounds

Select training mode, then hold Start and press A at the stage selection screen.

Arcade Backgrounds

Select team battle, normal, or training mode. Then, intentionally allow the timer to reach zero on the stage selection screen.

Cheats

Alternate Music

At the Sega logo, hold Start on controllers one and two. Keep both buttons held until the new music begins during the opening sequences.

Alternate Stage Backgrounds

At the stage selection screen, hold Start + A or Start + B.

Play As Dural In Any Mode

At the character selection screen, press Down, Up, Right, Left, Start. Then, highlight Dural and press A for the Silver version of Dural or Start + A for the Gold version.

Play As Gold Dural

At the character selection screen in training mode, press Start + X + A.

Play As Silver Dural

At the character selection screen in training mode, press Start + Y + A.

Play As Alphabet Character

At the character selection screen, highlight Akira and press Start. Then, highlight Lion and press Start. Then, highlight Pai and press Start. Finally, select any character and press A.

Fight Against Alphabet Character

At the character selection screen, highlight Akira and press Start. Then, highlight Lau and press Start. Finally, highlight Pai, hold Start and press X.
