There is this thing for baldurs gate that you can download called shadowkeys. How it works is, you create a real save game, (not hit Q for save) then you open it and you can give yourself gold, items, up your skills, abilities, and other awesome stuff NOTE:DO NOT CHANGE YOUR LOCATION, LEVEL, OR AMOUNT OF EXP. YOUR GAME WILL SCREW UP SO BAD THAT YOU CANT PLAY IT ANYMORE.

Lich And Daystar

Go to the City Gates and go into the pub "I forget the name but it is a pub" Anyway go in and wait by the bookshelf. There will be a pink light coming from the wall. Open it with a thief or the spell "knock". Then go in, there will be a Lich and he will attack you. First you go out of the place and rest then you back in he will have none of his spells on him. Then you go back in and start killing him he might cast a spell so just go out and rest again. After you go and kill him you loot the place. There you will find the Daystar it is a powerful Longsword.

Easy XP Points

After you have killed the Skin dancer in Trademeet arrange your party aroud Tiris' girlfriend (I can't remember her name)so that she cannot walk away. Now speak to her & get your 30,000 XP points for saving her. Because she can't move you can speak to her again & get another 30,000 XP point, & another, & another...., it took me Half an hour to gain 6.5 million XP point for each part member.

Ctrl + Q will put any character (friendly or otherwise) in your group. WARNING: This should only be used on one character at a time! When I did more than one, it shut off the game.

the "CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()" code to activate the corresponding

Cheat Codes

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the 
file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "baldur.ini" file in the game 
folder. Add the line "Debug Mode=1" under the "[Program Options]" heading. 
Begin a game and press [Ctrl] + [Space] to display the console window. Type one 
of the following case-sensitive codes, press [Enter], then press [Ctrl] + [Space] 
to close the console window and activate the corresponding cheat function:
