THIS IS NOT A PURELY CORRECT STRATEGY GUIDE. THIS IS A PALIDANS GUIDE AND THIS IS KNOGLEDGE THAT I HAVE RESEARCHED AND LEARNED ON MY OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY EMAL IS [email protected] so plz PLZ email me if you have any good comments bad comments or questions or even suggestions to make this better you will be on a special list if you wish to be A Paladins Life A COUPLE OF MY FAVORITE SKILL DESCRIPTIONS One of the most powerful Combat Skills for a Paladin to have is Zeal! But beware! Only put 5 points into this skill at the most because after that it only levels up your AR and just a little bit! Zeal is very effective because it will attack numerous amount of times to numerous enemies all at once. This move is very similar to the Barbarians Double Swing Skill and the Amazons Fend Skill. In my opinion, since patch 1.09 has came out, the only really good aura anymore is Vigor. This is an extremely good aura because it increases your run speed all the way up to somewhere around 45% and your stamina/stamina recovery rate will be so high you will never run out! You see your defense is brought down all the way to 0 whenever you run so if you just use common sense they will have a hard time of catching you (!*¿warning¿*! if they are amazons you must get boots with any % rating on run/walk speed)! Thorns used to be the best aura out there! But unfortunately it has been totally annihilated by patch 1.09, just like the Barbarians Whirl Wind. Another one you should look at is maxing out Holy Shield this boosts the defense A TON! A FEW SUGGESTIONS ON YOUR ATTRIBUTE LEVELING I would suggest putting all your points into strength until it is anywhere between 150 and 200 points. Put enough points into Dexterity to keep a max (75%) block rating. Definitely put 200-250 points into vitality, this is of course the Paladins best friend! LoL Your energy is the shittiest attribute out there, I mean it just absolutely sucks for the Paladin, you need only, maybey, about, somewhere around 35points in this one! Just keep these words in mind O Great One ENERGY IS NOT SOMETHING TO LOAD POINTS INTO UNLESS YOU ARE A SORCERESS!!! LOL! THE FOLLOWING BELOW WILL BE A SHORT NON-RUSHING LEVELING UP GUIDE You should always clear the Blood Moor and Den Of Evil with a full house, you see many people do not understand this but the more people that are in the game the more EXP (LEVELING) there is for you! Ok here is an example: Say that a Cow in Normal Difficulty gives you 200expirence points ( yes yes I no that this isnt the EXACT total I aint a rocket scientist you know *Kids Aint Aint a word! lol) if you have a full house a single Normal Difficulty Cow will give you about 500-750 MORE EXP! Ok Now BACK TO THE POINT! After you do that you should work your way to Blood Raven (If you are level 6 you should yet still have a full house and all of you should go at once, BUT first kill all of her minions ONLY IF YOU HAVE MORE PEOPLE then kill her and have person taking out the rest of the minions that she is summoning). Once you do that you should level up in the Stony Fields until you are level 9. Work your way to the Underground Passage if you run out of monsters and make sure that you also clear out that area. Clear out the Dark Wood and get the SCROLL OF INFUS and find the Dark Wood W.P. Then, take it to Akara and go save Cain But beware ****** Never rescue Cain until you have the WHOLE DAMN TARNATIONED PLACE CLEARED OUT! For if Cain is sill there you get a ton more EXP! After you collect your treasures and kill everything then rescue Cain and go on ahead back to town and talk to Akara and Cain. You will learn of what they give you as rewards. Then go to the Black Marsh and from there on kill everything onto THE SMITH and if you wish the EVIL COUNTESS, but you can do her on your own it is a simple side quest, she is very, very easy. Kill the Smith and clear out each level of the Jail and proceed to the Catacombs *(P.S. Charsi will let you imbue an normal item of choice so you should keep that offer until act 4 and imbue really good armor like ANCIENTS ARMOR if you are a Non-Melee Character or a Good Weapon if you are a Melee Character)*. Now go to Andariel and clear out the first two rooms and then open up the big doors and kill as many momsters as possible before she starts coming at you (on normal difficulty the poison is what kills you so you should stay close BUT on Nightmare and Hell difficulties her melee kills you so you should stay afar). Proceed onto act 2 and level in the sewers until you are level 18 and kill Radament as you are there. Get your Cube, Staff, and Amulet and restore the staff. Go into the Palace and look for the Arcane Sanctuary and stay here until you are level 25 (with the exception of a full house). Move onto the Canyon Of The Magi and go to the correct tomb. Place the staff in the shining light and watch the door form from lightning! Now, kill Duriel and if he freezes you run until it wears off and wack him or shoot him every two seconds to prevent him from healing as he chases you. Now to act III you should do this with more people because it is a BORING ACT! But pays off in the end because the Boss: MEPHISTO, has the best items in the game, you just need some good MF (Magic Find). In act IV kill Izual and destroy MEPHISTOS SOULSTONE. Be level 30 and kill Diablo he is tough especially his minions! WATCH OUT FOR THE IRON MAIDEN! IT HURTS VERY BADLY! In act V Be sure to get the Barbarian Mercenaries and the socket quest. Do some Baal runs until level 35 and then finally do COWS! Until level 39. Now, when you feel ready go to Nightmare and Hell and kick some serious BAAL! A Few Words From A Fellow MOOOOER! lol I would definitely stay with the group! Try to stick with a Barbarian/Amazon/Sorceress more then anything else. Always have a mercenary as your Meat Shield but do be aware! He will die every single time so get all the gold you can on each run. By the way never exit a cow stage for anything! Cause by the time you get back it will be cleared and you dont get ANY EXP at all if you arent in that same area. Never go and run in there like a Bat Outa Hell! Try to lure anywhere from 1-8 at a time unless of course you can handle them well. It is recommended to ask your fellow warriors that are with you what they use as there skill, as an example: Do not team up with a Barbarian with a sword and shield if you are a paladin YOU SHOULD HAVE THAT! Do not team up with a Amazon that doesnt have at least 10 into multiple shot and a fairly good bow and if not a good bow at least some cold damage. And of course and Sorceress is a good Sorceress as long as She/He is not a Newbie hopefully they know how to level skills is what I am getting at there. And of course if all fails tell them you are the leader and they should follow you if they wish to survive. SOME BASIC NEEDS OF WEAPONS/ARMOR/JEWERLY WEAPON: Baranars Star SHIELD: Herald Of Zakarum HELMET: Vampiregaze BOOTS: Infernostride GLOVES: Lavagout RING: Raven Frost RING: Any Ring With 6+ Life leech AMULET: Highlords Wrath Armor: Shaftstop Belt: Thundergods Vigor YOUR MERCENARY OF CHOICE Well lets see here O OF COURSE!!! An Act II Nightmare Defensive Mercenary, HE HAS HOLY FREEZE! He is very superior and I would level him up AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! It is common sense look at it this way: 50% slow enemies = 50% less damage! And also: 50% slowed enemies means that you get hit 50% less; thus 50% less block lock; thus a lot more attacking and a lot more life leech! To tell you the truth this guy helps/survives the longest in cows! So Thank You Very Much On bearing with me on this guide! I belive that this is all my brain will push out right now so ADIEU! My Emal Is [email protected] SO PPLZZZZZZZ email me and tell me what you thought/think of this forum and plz tell me if it helped you or if you have any suggestions you think I should know of THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE THE END BYE BYE
