Open your inventory.
Simple, Open your inventory by pressing Y

Getting Wood (10) –------------------------------------------------------0402

Punch a tree until a block of Wood pops out.
Before you do anything else, just start punching a tree by pressing and
holding RT with the tree trunk selected.

Benchmarking (10) –------------------------------------------------------0403

Craft a Workbench with four blocks of Wooden Planks.
With the block of wood that you obtained from “Getting Wood”, craft a work
bench. Open your Crafting Menu by pressing X, and make 4x planks. One block
of wood will work. Create a work bench from the crafting menu by 
highlighting the workbench and pressing “A”.

Time to Mine! (10) –-----------------------------------------------------0404

Use Planks and Sticks to make a Pickaxe.
Get some more Wood blocks to create Wooden Planks. Also craft a few Woode
 Sticks. Press RB while using the Crafting Bench to find the tools menu.
Here you can combine the Wooden Planks and Sticks to make a Wooden Pickaxe.

Hot Topic (15) –---------------------------------------------------------0405

Construct a Furnace out of eight Cobblestone Blocks.
After mining eight Smooth Stone, you will obtain some Cobblestone Blocks.
You can use these blocks to create a furnace in the General Tab inside of
the Workbench.

Acquire Hardware (15) –--------------------------------------------------0406
---------------------
Smelt and Iron Ingot.
Eventually, you will stumble upon some Iron Ore. Take the ore and put it
into the top slot of a Furnace, and then a fuel source for the bottom slot
(Coal, Wood, Saplings, Bucket of Lava). Once the Iron Ore has been processed,
you will be able to collect the Iron Ingot and get the achievement.

Time to Farm! (10) ------------------------------------------------------0407

Use Planks and Sticks to make a Hoe.
Same directions as Time to Mine!

Bake Bread (20) ---------------------------------------------------------0408

Turn Wheat into Bread.
Walk around hitting the tall grass, and you will eventually come across some
seeds. Use a Hoe to prepare the ground for the seeds and then plant them
using the LT. Make sure the seeds are next to water to allow them to grow.
Combine the wheat in the Crafting Table to make Bread.
Note: If you want the Wheat to grow faster, you can make a Bone into Bone
Meal through the crafting table. To do this, select the dyes and go up or
down until you find the Bone Meal. With the Bone Meal selected, sprinkle it
on the wheat that has been planted using the LT.

The Lie (40) ------------------------------------------------------------0409

Bake a Cake using Wheat, Sugar, Milk, and Eggs!
Grow some Wheat like the Bake Bread achievement. Find a stalk of Sugar Cane.
Sugar Cane can be found in Dirt Blocks around Water. Milk can be found by
using a Bucket (3 Iron Ingots) on a Cow (LT). Eggs can be obtained from
Chickens. Wait around a Chicken (usually between 5-10 minutes) and it will
lay an Egg. Combine these ingredients in the Crafting Table.

Getting and Upgrade (15) ------------------------------------------------0410

Construct a better Pickaxe.
Make a Stone Pickaxe by using Cobblestone and Wooden Sticks.

Delicious Fish (15) -----------------------------------------------------0411

Catch and cook a Fish!
Construct a Fishing Rod through the Crafting Table. Combine Wooden Sticks
with String. String can be obtained from Spiders by killing them. Use this
rod to catch a fish. After you catch a fish, use it in a furnace along with
a fuel source.
Fishing: To fish, use the LT to send the hook out. Wait for the bob to
completely submerge below the water. Do not reel the line in while it is
bobbing up and down.

On A Rail (40) ----------------------------------------------------------0412

Travel by Mine Cart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where
you started.
This one is one of the more difficult achievements. To get this you will need
Iron, Gold, and Redstone. Make a track that travels 500 blocks in one
direction, It can twist and turn, as long as the end point is 500 blocks in
one direction. Use the hills and Power Rails to your advantage. Power Rails
will require a Redstone Torch to activate.

Time to Strike! (10) ----------------------------------------------------0413

Use Planks and Sticks to make a sword.
Similar to Time to Mine! Follow the same steps.

Monster Hunter (20) -----------------------------------------------------0414

Attack and destroy a monster.
Use a sword to attack a monster. I would suggest a zombie since those seem
to be destroyed easier than others.

Cow Tipper (15) ---------------------------------------------------------0415
----------
Harvest some Leather.
Attack and destroy Cows until you get a Leather drop.

When Pigs Fly (40) ------------------------------------------------------0416
-------------
Use a Saddle to ride a Pig, then have the Pig get hurt from fall damage while
riding it.
For this one, you must find a Saddle which can only be obtained from Monster
Dungeons. Once you have a Saddle, you can attach it to a Pig and ride the
Pig. To get the achievement the Pig must fall 3 or more blocks to take
damage. I would build a trap around the pig using blocks that are two high,
then dig a pit around the pig that is deep enough for fall damage. Attach the
Saddle, and SAVE. Break a section of wall around the pig, and wait.
An alternative to this is if you are playing with someone or have a second
controller, is to have that second person drop into the 1x1 block the pig is
in, and push the pig off the edge.
Note: Seed “888” Spawns you at a beach which is next to a Zombie Dungeon with
a Saddle included in a chest.

Leader of the Pack (30) -------------------------------------------------0417
------------------
Befriend five wolves.
Give wolves a Bone obtained from skeletons, and you have a chance to befriend
them. You will need to do this a total of five times.
Note: An easy way to do this is to save before you give a wolf a bone. Give
the bone, tame the wolf, and quit without saving. Continue to give the bone
and quit without saving until you have the achievement.

MOAR Tools (15) ---------------------------------------------------------0418

Construct one of each type of tool (one pickaxe, one spade, one axe, and one
hoe)
Follow the Time to...! achievements, and make one of each of the four tools.

Dispense with This (20) -------------------------------------------------0419
------------------
Construct a Dispenser.
To make a Dispenser, you will need 7 Cobblestone, 1 Redstone, and 1 Bow.
Cobblestone can be easily obtained. Redstone is obtained easily in lower
levels. A bow can be made with Sticks, and 3 Strings obtained from Spiders.

Into the Nether (40) ----------------------------------------------------0420

Construct a Nether Portal.
For this you will need 10-14 Obsidian Blocks, depending on how you want the
portal to look. I.E:
 BB     BBBB
B  B    B  B
B  B or B  B
B  B    B  B
 BB     BBBB
Obsidian can be obtained when Water touches a source block of Lava, this can
either be done naturally, or artificially. Carry a Bucket of Water with you
when you go to the lower levels of a mine and you will eventually find Lava.
Use the Bucket of Water around the Lava and it will flow out, replacing the
Lava blocks it touches with Obsidian. You will need a Diamond Pickaxe to
mine the Obsidian. Once you have the blocks placed, you will need to ignite
a block using a flint and steel. Flint and Steel can be obtained in the
crafting menu by combining a flint (obtained from Gravel Blocks), and a Iron
Ingot.
