> Someone (a queen?) descends out of the sky to hover between them and the
  Palace entrance surrounded by sparkles.

  + Queen:   Welcome to the Moon Flower Palace.
  + Monica:  What?
  + Queen:   You have come to fight with Sirus inside the Moon Flower Palace,
             have you not?
  + Monica:  Sirus?
  + Max:     Do you mean Griffon?
  + Queen:   (sadly) Please, don't blame Sirus...
             - I really hope you are able to see... the child's true form...
  + Monica:   Who are you?
  + Queen:   I am ruler of the palace... Alexandra...
             - Sirus has not yet realized what his role in life is.
             - And... neither have you two...
             - Sirus and I shared many memories in this garden. They are all
               still hidden here.


> Alexandra raises her arms and the barren garden is restored to flowers.
  + Queen:   If this garden could change back to the way it used to be, the
             child may remember everything again.
             - Please, open up your hearts ... and see for yourselves the truth
               hidden here in the castle.
             - There is a clue in the first room.
             - Please, go and win back Sirus's memories...
             - If you do... I'm sure... Sirus will... I beg of you...


> Alexandra disappears in a cloud of sparkles.

  + You are given a view of the foyer, both upstairs and down, where there are
    large paintings of various garden scenes, hung on the wall.
    - Max realizes that the paintings show the Gardens as they were in Alexandra's
      time.
    - The first painting they look at shows a road with flower beds and pillars on
      either side of the path leading to the palace entrance.

  + There are four paintings on the ground floor and another four up the stairs.

 PALACE LOCATIONS

> Moon Flower Palace Stop.
  + Paznos is at the Stop, even thought there are no railway tracks.
  + The mound around the palace is now green, but there is a wide patch of muddy
    ground around it.

  + There's a gate into the Palace grounds.
    - It's the 'Gold Gate' (if you didn't photograph it before do so now).
    - The SAVE Point that was outside the Palace is now just inside the Gold Gate.


> Moon Flower Palace [Georama Field].
  + Inside the Gold Gate and between the Gate and the Palace is the Georama field.
    - Check the 'Make' screen (Carpenterion).
      # You can make and place a fountain.
      # Put it on the center of the Georama where there is a patch of dry ground.
        * Cover the patch with the fountain.
        * It is important for the Fountain to be correctly placed so you have room
          for other items (you may need to adjust placement later).

NOTE: The Jet Hover works similarly to the propellor as far as speed is concerned.
      - However, Steve 'swivels' to turn around and it is a lot quicker to face a
        different direction.
      - Also, it seems a little easier to control.

**   CHAPTER 6 REVIEW  **

> In Chapter 6, you got to use the Time Train called Ixion (train of many colors!).
  + Ixion took you to 10,000 years ago, where you had a chance to defeat Griffon.
    - Unfortunately, Griffon stole Max's Red and Monica's Blue Atlamillia.
    - Fortunately, Ixion's Time Traveling System enable you to travel to and from
      Monica's time and the present.

> You temporarily defeated the Emperor.
  + Griffon used his powers to take the Moon Flower Palace to Max's time.
    - The palace became a floating island.
    - Griffon began to try to wipe out everything.

> With the Star Key, Max and Monica found the four gems to complete Kazarov
  Stonehenge.
    - Rainbow Butterfly Wood ... Earth Gem.
    - Starlight Canyon ......... Wind Gem.
    - Ocean's Roar Cave ........ Water Gem.
    - Mount Gundor ............. Fire Gem.

> When the four Gems were placed in Kazarov Stonehenge, four colored columns of
  light joined in the sky and brought Paznos to the present.
  + Paznos fired at the floating island causing it to fall.
  + Elena, Max's mother, ordered the 'Colossus Mode'.
    - Paznos was transformed into Gigantor Paznos.
    - It was able to catch the island and toss it to earth where it would not
      damage anything.

> Now Max and Monica must enter the Moon Flower Palace to find Griffon and put an
  end to his evil plans.

> REMINDER:
  + Having Milane in your party adds one Synthesis Point (7 points instead of 6)
    when a sword levels up.
  + Putting Gerald into your party, adds 7 (instead of 6) Synthesis Points when a
    gun levels up. 

> It isn't practical to raise all weapons to their final possibility.
  + Since I don't know what weapons you currently have, this Walkthrough will show
    the best paths to all the final weapons.
    - Because I wanted to make the advice in this Walkthrough meaningful, I have 
      actually developed all of the weapons.

  + This portion of the Walkthrough is grouped by the four types of weapons:
    - Wrenches.
    - Guns.
    - Swords.
    - Armbands.

  + Max's weapons have fairly simple paths.
    - Monica's, however, are much more complex, particularly the Swords.
      # For example, there are four quite different paths to the final weapon
        called Island King.
      # Here are the 'second-to-final' weapons on each path:

  + The 'Box-Charts' below show the MINIMUM REQUIRED ATTRIBUTE levels for the
    build-up.
    - The value in square brackets (for example: [250]) is the MAXIMUM value you
      can increase that particular weapon's attributes to.
      # For example: The Heavy Hammer's attributes can be increased to 150 max.
        * You will probably upgrade it to LEGEND before the hammer reaches max.
      # The attributes of LEGEND can be raised to 250, with the Attack Attribute
        going up to 500 max.

    NOTE:
    - In the box chart, if an attribute is not listed (shows '-' instead of a
      number):
      # That attribute is not required for that weapon's build-up.
      # However, you can increase any and all of the attributes (to their maximum)
        if you choose.
        * For the weapons you plan to use for the final set of battles, you should
          add all attributes to the max (the final weapons DO build quickly).
    - One attribute (Smash) makes ALL weapons much stronger even when it isn't
      really 'needed'.
      # Where Smash is not required, recommended levels are in parentheses, for
        example: (100) or (135).

  + Most weapons have only one choice for the final build up.
    - A few have two choices.
      # Choose the one that matches the attributes that are listed in the box
  + Hold off on using the Synthesis Points until you have enough to take each of
    the attributes up to the necessary levels.

> To find out how much you need:

  Example:
  + Suppose you need Chill of 135 and have only 120  points. [135 - 120 = 15].
   AND
  + Suppose you need Smash of 135 and have only 103 points.  [135 - 103 = 32]

    # Take the result and divide by 3 (the number of points one crystal adds to
      the attribute value).
       Chill:  15/3 = 5
       Smash:  32/3 = 10.2 or 11   (round UP to NEXT whole number)

    # Do this for each of the needed attributes.

  + Suppose you end up with the following number of Synth Points:
       Chill ......  5
       Smash ...... 11
       Exorcism ... 11
       Beast ...... 12
       Scale ...... 32

    # Total up the number of Synth Points needed [5 + 11 + 11 + 12 + 32 = 71]
      
    # Divide that total by 6 (the number of synthesis points each level-up gives
      the weapon) [71/6 = 11.5 OR 12 (rounded up)]

    # This amount [12] gives the number of levels you must raise the weapon [+12].


> If your weapon isn't strong enough to safely defeat monsters on the Chapter 7
  dungeon floors:
  + Go back to Chapter 6 Star floors to do the upgrades.
  + Choose the floor with at least 20 monsters, because the more monsters you
    defeat, the more quickly the levels-up come:

     Rainbow Butterfly Wood Star Floor 1: Looking for the Earth Gem (20 monsters)

     Starlight Canyon Star Floor 1: Looking for the Wind Gem (24 monsters)
     Starlight Canyon Star Floor 2: Evil Spirit in the Valley (22 monsters)
     Starlight Canyon Star Floor 3: Brave Warriors in the Valley (22 monsters)

     Ocean's Roar Cave Star Floor 2: Pirates Revenge (24 monsters)

     Mount Gundor Star Floor 2: Explosive Hot Spring (24 monsters) 
     Mount Gundor Star Floor 3: Crazy Mountain (22 monsters) 


> ALWAYS check the Build-up Screen for the weapon you want to build up.
  + You can tell what attributes you will need to increase:
    - Those that flash red are not yet up to minimum.

  + The game does NOT tell you how much to raise each needed attribute.
    - See the 'box charts' below.


NOTE: YOU CAN AND SHOULD RAISE EVERY ATTRIBUTE TO THE MAXIMUM.
      + This may be easier/faster if you spectrumize high level weapons (with AT
        LEAST +5 added to the weapon's name).
      + Then synthesize them to the strongest weapon.

> There are two strong final weapons:
  + LEGEND (which IS spelled with all capitals).
    - This is a hammer.
    - When brought to full power (the numbers in the square brackets ([500]) or
      [250]), this is Max's strongest right-hand weapon.
  + Grade Zero.
    - This is a Wrench.

> You should currently have at least one of the following right-hand weapons:
  + Digi Hammer (or Heavy Hammer).
  + Poison Wrench (or Sigma Breaker).

> Almost everything for this area relates to gardens.

  + Gate Key ........... Queen's Watering Pot.
  + Locked Room Key .... Moon Clock Hand (greenish-yellow).
  + The 'rocks' ........ This dungeon has what looks like short 'posts' dotted
                         around the rooms.
                         - They are hollow so must be vases.
                         - If you throw and break them, some have items.
  + Entry and exit doors are called 'flowers'.

> Dungeon Floors:
  + The floor is carpeted, but circular panels in the floor appear to be made of
    glass, showing starry skies.
    - Some of the panels on the walls show great flowers with spotted petals.
      # When you look at these flowers, they appear to be breathing.
  + The locked door is bright yellow and purple and is circular.
    - It's called the Moon Clock Door.


> Although the Palace Foyer looks to be in good condition, when you get into the
  dungeon:
  + It is obvious that no-one has lived there in a long time.
    - There are cracks all over the floors and walls.
    - Circular drapes are frayed.
    - Glass panels in the floors are cracked.

    - I have taken out at least three with one bomb but they have to be fairly
      close.

> One of the treasure chests on this floor may hold a Resurrection Powder.
  + Make sure you carry only 2x of them, just in case.

> If you work on upgrading the Holy (or Fire) Gemron Badge on this floor, the
  first time through, it will pick up 50 Experience Points.
  + The only critter to watch out for is the Silver Gear.
    - It seems to be able to fire a dart even when under constant fire.
    - Watch Monica's HP!!!

  + With a good sword and a magic weapon that automatically adds one or two HP as
    Monica walks, you might make it.
  + I used the Dark Excalibur but it was at a +23 level.
    - The only time there was a problem was when four monsters ganged up on Monica.
  + The power-up attack helped.

BUT...

> Since Monica has to get close up and into damage danger.
  + You may want to have her use a seal-breaking scroll (hold off until her HP
    gets low???).
  + I did make it without using a seal-breaking scroll but her HP was almost out!

> Starting with your back to the Gold Gate and facing the Palace door:

  1) Place 7x Petal Stream on the RIGHT.
     - One Petal Stream fits half-way under the Starlight Stairway.
       # Put three more on the Gate side of the stairs (total four).
       # Repeat on the other side of the Stairs so that two Petal Streams under
         the Stairway join together and until you have used all seven.

  2) Repeat the same process with the Starlight Stairway on the LEFT side of the
     Fountain.
     - But place three on the Gate side and four on the Palace side with two of
       these joining under the Stairway.

  3) Place the Hall of Sorrow at the end of the left Stream and nearest the Gold
     Gate.
     - Place the Camellia Trees on either side of the Stream and between the Hall
       of Sorrows and the Starlight Stairway.
       # Make sure each tree is as near to the Stream as possible.

  4) Place the Palace Stairs at the end of the other Stream nearest the palace.
     - Place the Silver Benches near the Palace Stairs and facing the Stairs.

     Streams so that there are:
     - Four on the Palace side of the Petal Streams and on the same side of the
       Relaxation Fountain as the Hall of Sorrows.
     - Two on the same side of the Relaxation Fountain as the Palace Stairs and
       on the Gate side of the Starlight Stairway.

  6) Before going down to the ground, check Analysis.
     - It should be 80%.
     - If not, you need to reorganize the parts of the georama.

  + BUT:
    - If you wish to fight with either Max or Monica, you need an Anti-Stop Amulet
      in their Active Item Slots BEFORE BEGINNING.
    - NOTE: EACH HIT FROM GRIFFON TAKES CLOSE TO HALF OF THEIR HP.
      # YOU'LL PROBABLY NEED THOSE RESURRECTION POWDERS IF YOU FIGHT CLOSE UP.


> RIDEPOD STRATEGY.
  + Keep circling to dodge the floor shafts of wind sent by Griffon.
    - Steve will get hit which reduces his Fuel/HP.
    - If Steve becomes critically damaged, it will take two fuel cans to fill the
      300 HP Gauge.

  + Keep as far as possible away from Griffon.
    - Circle to the right for two to three hits, then circle to the left.
    - Move FAST if he leaps toward you.
      # He keeps firing the ground-hugging shafts of wind.
      # The closer he is, the more likely they are to hit.


> When defeated:
  + Griffon drops to the ground and gives half roar/half groan.
    - The voice sounds more like Sirus.
  + Red sparkles rise UP from him.
  + The scene flashes to white, then VIDEO.

  + Alexandra and Sirus are standing in front of the Relaxation Fountain.

    - He explains that they make war, they kill each other, they involve people
      who have nothing to do with them...
    - (viciously, he states it was just to get the power of the stones.

  + Sirus claims they don't deserve to live!
    - He says: "I'm not the bad one... It's not me. They're to blame..."
    - The in sad despair: "I just wanted to be with you a little longer. That's
      all I wanted..."

> Alexandra kneels in front of Sirus.
  + She explains that when humans have strong desires, they often make mistakes.
    - "But," she says, "Humans also possess something very important."
  + She thinks Sirus must be aware, because he has been watching the boy on his
    journey the whole time.

> Alexandra continues as scenes from Max's journey are shown:
  + The Firbits, Lin holding Crest, Pau waving to the Shingala, Max and Monica
    leaning over the dying Gaspard.
  + She says Sirus knew that he was wrong this time.
    - The special something inside the humans must not be destroyed.

> View returns to the Palace Garden as Alexandra leans forward and places her hands
  on Sirus's shoulders.
  + Alexander: Remember back, Sirus.
               - Remember that you have an important role in life.
               - (emphatic) You must remember...
  + Sirus:     Alexander, I don't understand.
               - (gritting his teeth) I just don't understand...

> Sirus puts his paws out to Alexandra just as she disappears and he bows his

  + Return to the Sun Chamber.
    - On the floor are the three Atlamillia surrounding Griffon.
    - Black smoke rises up from the emperor's body and out of the smoke, peers the
      green face of a new monster.

> Monster: (speaking to Griffon) Grrahh!! I'm tired of your whining.
           - Your role is finished.

  + You realize the body is that of Sirus NOT Griffon.
    - Max rushes and grabs Sirus then Max and Monica run to the side and Max lays
      Sirus down at the edge of the area before facing the monster.

> The monster raises the staff, the three Atlamillia rise off the floor and are
  pulled into the Smoke.
  + When the smoke fades, the Final Boss is revealed.

    ==   EVIL MADE FLESH ~~ DARK ELEMENT   ==

  + A blue glowing aura surrounds Dark Element, then blue tentacles grab around
    their waists and they are pulled into the glow.

> Dark Element gloats over the power he receives.
  + And challenges Max and Monica to "Come! Taste extinction!"

  + Max and Monica are on the palace roof and beyond them is a glowing red and
    pink moon.
    - It is falling and Monica wonders if this is the 'Star of Oblivion?'

  + You hear maniacal laughter as the scene changes to show the Dark Element.

 + Dark Element claims that when the Moon falls, this world will become his
   paradise!
   - The souls of those detestable humans will serve him as the king of a dark
     world seething in hatred.
   - More laughter.

> Max and Monica turn and see Sirus, hand held up and glowing blue.
  + Dark Element is surprised that Sirus is still alive and says he'll fix that.
  + He throws the twisted Staff at Sirus who is impaled by it.
    - Sirus groans then, still with the twisted staff, rises up from the floor.
    - Dark Element makes a 'come-here' motion with its hand and the staff flies to
      him while Sirus falls to the ground.
    - Then Monica and Max run across to Sirus and kneel beside him.

  + Sirus       You?!?
                - Max... don't worry about me... just go after him...

> Dark Element raises the staff so it is vertical in front of him and he and the
  staff begin vibrating.
  + You see the top floor of the palace and a bridge stretches and curves out from
    the floor.
    - It continues to stretch and becomes the Dream Spiral rising up into the sky.
  + A huge Mammoth drops out of the sky and lands in front of them.
    - Definitely a lot bigger than Linda the Circus elephant!!!

> You have to defeat FIVE preliminary BOSSES before you can work on Dark Element.
  + You do get a break between each fight as you walk up the 'Dream Spiral' to
    the next floor level (and it's a long walk)!
    - So you have time to heal as you climb.
  + There is one BOSS for each floor.
    - If Max's Supernova is at the highest level, the preliminary bosses can be
      defeated with little damage.
      # But each defeat takes a little more effort.
  + If Supernova isn't that powerful, it will take longer for each of the first
    five fights and you may get more damage.

> The fight with DARK ELEMENT will cause a LOT of damage, so WATCH HP!!!


     THERE'S A TIME LIMIT TO DEFEAT THE DARK ELEMENT...

  + Her Island King at close to full power (mine was +32, WHP of 180).


> Strategy:
  + The Supernova is better than the Armlet for this fight.
    - The Island King is better for close up battle than the LEGEND because Monica
      wields it much more quickly.


> As soon as Mammo is defeated, Ice Spires that block the Spiral dissolve away.
    - The start of the bridge/Spiral ramp is open.

> USE ALL THREE WEAPONS, RIDEPOD, FIVE-STAR ARMLET, AND SUPERNOVA:
  + SWITCHING BETWEEN PEOPLE AS THEY GET DAMAGED:
    - You DO have time to heal because the fight stops when you access the Main
      Menu.
  
  + Monica's Five-Star Armlet hits Dark Element harder than the Laser Gun.
    - But she has a more difficult time dodging its attacks.
    - Switch as soon as he HP gets low.

  + The Ridepod can move around and deal hard blows from  the Nova Cannon III.
    - But it is difficult to keep out of the path of Dark Elements attacks.

  + The Supernova is best.

> It was in this fight that I had to resurrect Max!!
  + I started with Max.
    - Then after resurrecting him, I used the Ridepod until his Fuel was almost
      gone.
      # Refueling twice.
    - Then I used Monica and had to use another Resurrection Powder...
    - I ended up just firing the Supernova even when Dark Element got in my face
      (it worked)!!!
      # By that time, its HP was low.

  + But REALLY WATCH THEIR HP!!!!!

> Sirus says he can't believe that was inside him, but thinks he may have created
  it himself.r he has remembered what he has to do.
  + He walks toward the moon.

> Sirus remembers that he is the Guardian of the Stars.
  + The Ancient Ones told Sirus's ancestors how to stop the 'Star of Oblivion',
    but the memory had been locked away...
  + He now knows that his role and his purpose is to stop the Star of Oblivion.

> Sirus raises his hands and calls to the Moon (Star of Oblivion), saying:
  + "You have fulfilled your purpose. Return to the dust that bore you!"
  + His hands begin to glow and he tosses the glow up at the moon.
    - For a moment nothing happens then the moon expands.
    - Then golden sparkles of moon-dust begin to drop down toward the roof.

> Close-up of Sirus.
  + Sirus:     Alexandra... this is what you meant, isn't it?
  + Voice
    Alexandra: Congratulations, Sirus...
               - You were...
               - You were... magnificent.

> Alexandra appears in the air. Sirus looks then closes his eyes and whispers
  "Alexandra..."
  + he thanks Max and Monica for opening his eyes.
  + He says "Farewell," and falls to the floor, still surrounded by the golden
    drops from the moon.
  + The screen flashes to white.

> Sirus is running along the Road to Golbad toward Alexandra.
  + He hugs her and she hugs him back.
  + Viewpoint moves slowly upward and you see there is only one moon.
    - Fade to white.

> There is a closeup of Max and Monica.
  + Monica realizes that beneath it all, Sirus was just a nice little boy with a
    huge responsibility.
  + One that was so big, he almost couldn't handle it.
    - But now he 's finally going to a place he can call home.

> Max becomes poetic and Monica doesn't really appreciate it!
  + But they wonder if people will ever believe there was once two moons.
  + Max thinks that people will lock the memories into their hears and maybe
    forget to take them out again.
  + You see Max and Monica looking up at the moon.
    - Fade to black.

> Paznos is floating in the sky.
  + Everyone, including Galen and Elena, are in the Kazarov Stonehenge ruins.
  + Monica tells Max that he'd better not forget her either!
  + Max replies the she shouldn't worry.
    - He won't forget Monica, or his journey, or how they fought together.

> Goodbyes are said, and Max promises to write and leave the letters in the Kazarov
  Ruins.
  + Max calls out "Mother!" as the four of them (Galen, Elena, Monica, and
    Professor Osmond) fade into blue columns.
  + Then you see Paznos and four shapes rise up to it; blue and red shimmers
    surround the whole thing.
    - Paznos disappears.

> Cedric tells Max the Chrono Union is closing.
  + He says the journey was like some kind of dream... Castles moving in the air...
    Moons becoming one...
  + Max:     Yeah, just like a dream.
  + Cedric:  Hmmph... Yer right. Yer journey WAS just a dream.
  + Max:     Huh?
  + Cedric:  There's always been just one moon...
             - All this may just have been a long, long dream, shown to us humans
               by the ancients to warn us.
  + Max:     A dream, huh... Yeah, right.

> VIDEO continues:
  + Max is at his desk in his home in Palm Brinks.
    - He's writing the letter to his mother and says it is rather long.
    - He says that it was a lot of fun too.
  + Max leans back in his chair and falls asleep.
