-----------------1.5About the Game(B3T006)--------------------

Burnout 3: Takedown is the third installment to the Burnout series. But this one
is different from it's older brothers
it has better graphics, faster paced, bigger car collection and much more. To be
honest this is one of my favoret game
of the Burnout series. This is the hotest installment of the three. I've have had
alot of fun playing this game and i
hope you do to.:)

Throught your career in Burnout 3 you will be totaling more cars than you have
emagined. With the unique Aftertouch option
you can get to those hard to reach places or you can get an aftertouch
takedown.You will also be able to have unique
showdowns that allow you to get new vehicles from small convertibles to massive
semi-trucks, the list of fun is endless.
There is also a radio station called CRASH FM which is also hosted by a guy called
Striker.

Well, what is the use of playing a game if you don't know the controls to the
game? that was a trick question but anyway,

The following controls can be changed in the options menu.
Menu controls:
1. - Up/down/left/right = Highlight menu item
2. - X = Select
3. - Triangle = Back/Cancel
Gameplay Controls
1. - Accelerate = Press X
2. - Brake/Reverse = Press Square
3. - Steer = Left analogue
stick/directional buttons
4. - Look back = Press L1
5. - Boost = Press R1
6. - Impact time (whilst Crashing) = Press R1
7. - Aftertouch (whilst Crashing) = Press R1 and use
directional buttons
8. - Crashbreaker = Press R2
9. - Pause Game = Press start
10. - Next Music Track = Press L2 (offline
gameplay only)
Remember the above can be changed in the option menu.

------------------3.1The world Tour(B3T011)-------------------
==============================================================
The world tour is made of three different contenents, you will find out about them
later on. the world tour will keep you
occupied if you do not have the internet on your PS2. (Or maybe you just don't
have anyone online.) The world tour puts
a little more depth into the game. There is also a radio station that comes out
with some random things called CRASH FM
and is hosted by a guy who is called Striker. The radio station just gives the
game a little bit more of that fun element
into the game.

------------------3.1.1Race events(B3T012)--------------------
==============================================================
The race events consist of the following:
1. - Race = Make it across the finish line in first place - What ever it takes.
2. - Grand Prix = Earn GP points by making it across the line in first place.
You will have a series of
races to get the highest combined score.
3. - Eliminator = Stay ahead to win, but if you don't and you can't get higher
than last place then you will
be eliminated. As the saying goes "Second place is last place."
4. - Face off = Race one on one against another challenger to win their car.
5. - Road rage = Chase down and takedown as many of your opponents as you can
within a time limit. Hit the
Takedown targets to win medals.
Note - In this mode your car takes damage when you crash. After the "Damage
Critical"
message appears, one more crash and you will total your car and ends the race.
6. - Burning lap = Beat the bronze, silver and gold times in one lap to get
invited to a special event.
7. - Special events = Burners with a fist full of gold medals get invited to
exclusive special events.

The crash nav helps you get around the world easily. This is your specialist
in-car-navigation system takes you around the
world straight to the hottist places, track down busy high streets and burner
meets - a combination made in Takedown heaven.
All the new events are marked with the "New" Icon.

There are three different contanents thay are:
1. - U.S.A = This is where you start your Burnout career.
2. - Europe = You will have to get a certain amount of medals in the U.S to
unlock this contanent.
3. - Far East = You will have to get a certain amount of medals in the
S.A to unlock this contanent.
that is about it for the contanents. Remember there is new fun in the next contanent.

In your garage you have seven different vehicle classes here they are with the
vehicles that the hold:

There is a saying in this game that goes
"Risk = Reward"
What this means is the more risks you take the more rewards you get. ie if you
takedown an opponent you will recieve more
boost, If you drive on the wrong side of the road you will recieve more boost, if
you just miss crashing into a totaled
opponent you get more boost and so on.
In other words the more risks you take the more rewards you get.
Just remember Risk = Rewards.

1. Q) I have put a cheat in but it won't work, why?
A) Have you put it in at the start screen? or in at the main menu.
2. Q) Is there any demo's in this game?
A) Yes to access it go to the Drivers Details menu, then to the Extra's menu
and you have the demo there.
3. Q) The directional buttons don't work. What do i do?
A) Go to the options menu, then to the option menu and then choose the things
you want to change.
