                INTRODUCTION      

F1 WORLD GRAND PRIX is a Formula 1 simulation
based on the 1999 World Championship season.
F1 has been putting man and machine to the
best since 1950 - to the delight of millions of
followers around the world.This simulation 
places you in the driving seat and gives you
first-hand experience of every aspect of this
challenging competition in which you cannot
afford to leave anything to chance.
Off course knowing how to drive a car is
essential if you are to succed but the
competition calls much more than just driving
skills.Formula 1 cars only deliver their best 
performance after lengthy sessions of testing
and adjustment.
This FAQ is my 2nd one for Formula 1 games.I'm
a big fan of this game and i thing that all the
help that we can have isn't enough.
I've start making FAQs becuse i think that are
some things that i know that can be shared
with other players.I can be also a good 
example to all the Dreamcast users becuse all
my FAQs are made using it.In my FAQs you will
find a very easy to understand type of 
language since English isn't my natural one (i'm
Portuguese).I also want to thanks to Gamefaqs
for keeping my FAQs and all the internet sites
that currently keep some of my FAQs.



             CUSTOMISING THE CAR

Paddock - you can change the car settings to
            adjust its performance.

Fuel - You can vary the amount of fuel that
you carry.The amount of fuel will affect the
number of laps you can drive but will also 
affect your speed,acceleration,turning and
braking ability.

Tyre - Different types of tyres can be used 
to suit the different weather conditions.Dry is
for use in sunny weather and Rain and Heavy
Rain are suitable for rainy conditions.Intermid
is used during Light rain.The Soft provides
maximum grip but is not such durable as Hard.

Front and rear wings - The angle of the wings
can be set to adjust the Downforce.

Gear ratio - Ypu can adjust the car maximum
speed and acceleration performance.If you
lwer the ratio the maximum speed will be
lowered but the acceleration performance will
improve.

Suspencion - If you set it to hard the turning
braking and acceleration will increase but the
tyres wear out quickly.

Steering - This controls the angle to which
the wheel can be turned.The greater the angle
you set the easier it will be to turne corners.
