1.1  Introduction  [IL001]
More and more people traveled with Monster Hunter as it sailed onto the Sony's PSP
Game System. The new game
was introduced as Monster Hunter Freedom. But as always during a game, people need
help with certain tasks that
may be confusing to the player. They will have questions and those questions need
to be answered. That is why I
am writing this FAQ about the questions asked by many of Monster Hunter Freedom's
new game players.

I am Ladster, as many of you Cheathappens users may know. I have currently tqo
FAQs that I have written about the
Monster Hunter series and am currently working on a fourth. This would be my third
FAQ as a member of Cheathappens.com.

Stone          - all mining points
Disk Stone     - all mining points
Iron Ore       - all mining points
Earth Crystal  - all mining points
Machalite ore  - all mining points
Ice Crystal    - mining point +1 and all mining points in the Volcano and Desert
Carbalite Ore  - mining point +2
Rainbow Ore    - mining point +2
Ruststone      - volcano zone area 8,Desert zone, and Swamp zone; Also reward for
certain quests
Ancient Stone  - volcano zone area 8 and all zones for HR 3 and up; Also reward
for certain quests
Dragonite Ore  - rare in quest mining points and mining point +1 in Kokoto Farm
Union Ore      - rare in quest mining points and mining point +1 in Kokoto Farm
Lightcystal    - rare mining point +1 Kokoto Farm and Gypceros and Kirin
NovaCrystal    - rare mining point +1 Kokoto Farm and Guild Quest Gypceros and Kirin
PureCrystal    - rare mining point +2 Kokoto Farm and G class Gypceros and Kirin
also reward for slaying Fatalis
Firestone      - rare volcano zone area 8 for HR2; all areas for HR3 and up
Firecell Stone - rare volcano zone area 8 and 3 for HR2; all areas for HR3 and up
Star fragment  - Treasure hunts only
Fireworks stone- Treasure hunts only

2.2  Bones         [IL005]

Sm Monster bone   - Carved from small monsters; granted in rewards
Med Monster bone  - Carved from larger Wyverns and some larger monsters; granted
in rewards
Large monster bone- Carved from Large Wyverns; granted in rewards
Monster bone +    - available from mid-sized monster; carved from the back of Lao
Shan Lung
Hard Monster bone - G-class wyvern quests and G-class Basarios; available from
carving the back of Azure Lao Shan Lung
Mystery Bone      - wyvern nests and ground; granted in quest rewards
Mystery Skull     - wyvern nests and ground
Bone              - wyvern nests
Sm bone husk      - wyvern nests; granted in quest rewards
Large bone husk   - granted in Mono/Diablos quest and Gravios quest rewards
Huskberry         - gathering areas

Bamboo Felyne Meal pass - cats in the felyne kitchen
Pine Felyne Meal pass   - cats in the felyne kitchen
Plum Felyne Meal pass   - cats in the felyne kitchen
Silver Ticket           - cats in the felyne kitchen after 10 meals with 2 cats
Gold Ticket             - cats in the felyne kitchen after 10 meals with 3 cats
Platinum Ticket         - cats in the felyne kitchen after 10 meals with 4 or more

Steel Egg               - Training quests and 10,000+ points in treasure hunting
Silver Egg              - 35,000+ points in treasure hunting
Gold Egg                - 45,000+ point in treasure hunting
Jewel ticket            - Mining quests and treasure hunts
Egg ticket              - egg quests and treasure hunts
Hunter Citation         - certain quest
Gunner Ticket           - completing a training school Gunning quest
Greatsword Ticket R     - completing a training school Greatsword quest
Lance Ticket            - completing a training school Lance quest
Sabre Ticket            - completing a training school SnS or duals quest
Hammer Ticket           - completing a training school Hammer quest
Kut Ku coin             - completing a Kut Ku training quest and sometimes a
regular Kut Ku quest
Gypceros coin           - completing a Gypceros training quest
Rathalos coin           - completing a Rathalos training quest
Gravios coin            - completing a Gravios training quest
Khezu coin              - completing a Khezu training quest
Basarios coin           - completing a Basarios training quest
Heaven and Earth Crest  - completing Wyverns of Land and Sky. Used to make Shining
Wyvern blade
