[00LS]------------Entering Central City--------------------------

Alright lets get started. First and formost purchasing the
Lightning Strikes DLC pack is required obviously.Legendary
players have access free of charge, while free players must
purchase the pack from the Playstation Marketplace. At this
time the pack is $10.The possitive side effect to buying the
pack is that a free player then becomes a Premium player which
grants a few more benefits.Wallet size and inventory slots
increases as well as bank slots.

The next step is improving your Combat Rating to 53, which is
the requirements to enter Central City.Combat Rating is
determined by the level of your armor, the higher level armor
the higher the combat rating.Recently the new update;Update 8,
introduced item socketing which can upgrade armor thus increasing
it's level and retroactively your Combat Rating, but thats a whole
other FAQ.You can check your Combat Rating in the inventory
screen.Hit R1 to go to the stats tab and your Combat Rating will
be the last stat.Sometimes it doesnt show until your higher level.

Alright! Lets assume you're in and moving on!

[01LS]-----------Central City Quests----------------------------

0.Marks of Momentum
1.Put a Cork in it!
2.Can't Stop!
3.Speed Trap
4.Paradox Reapers
5.Disturbance in the Speed Force

0.---------------Marks Of Momentum------------------------------

Marks of Momentum are the new currency in the Lightning
Strikes DLC pack, you use aquired marks to purchase armor
and weapons at the vendor station right by the entrance
of Central City. There are 4 vendor crates attuned to each
of the 4 roles in DCUO, as well a human vendor selling
sodas and R&D plans at the center of the station. You aquire
Marks of Momentum by completing Central City quests and
defeating the Rogue bounties. All the quests are daylies and
you can aquire (18)Marks of Momentum a day. No current alerts,
raids, or duos reward Marks of Momentum.

1.-------------[Put a Cork In It!]------------------------------

Quest Giver: STAR lab operative

Rewards :$75
           :(1)Mark of Momentum

This is a group quest. A rupture will open up behind the museum
at the overpass area. When you activate the quest you'll see
the area you have to search. The rupture can appear under or ontop
of the overpass. The game will also anounce when a rupture opens
or is closed wether you have the quest or not.

Now there are two different kinds of ruptures.Although the end
result is the same, what you do during the fight is different.
One of the ruptures will contain smaller ruptures which you can be
attacked and destroyed. The other will have 4 anchor points on the
ground connected to the large rupture, when you kill a paradox
reaper he'll drop a energy ball that you'll have to pick up and
take to the anchor point to disrupt it.Both ruptures have 3 to 4
waves ofparadox reapers and sometimes trapped meta humans which
you can save.

After you've completed the first half of the quest the Giant
Paradox Reaper will appear, defeat him to end the quest.

2--------------[Can't Stop!]------------------------------------

Quest Giver: The Flash

Rewards :$300
           :(2)Marks of Momentum

By far the most annoying and difficult quest in Central City,
this quest requires you to run at super speeds beside citizens
affected by the speed force and slow them down. The citizens
have such an erratic movement pattern that you can easily lose
track of them or confuse them if they run into a copy of them.
There are only 4 or 5 different character models used for the
citizens and there could be at least 15 to 20 citizens running
around Central City at a time. Meaning doubles of the citizens
are everywhere. To my experience the fat citizen in the white
shirt and blue jeans is the slowest and easiest to keep track
of,while the buisness woman in the green office dress seems to
be the fastest and easiest to lose in the green park amongst
the green trees,if you catch my drift.Good Luck!

3.---------------[Speed Trap]----------------------------------

Quest Giver: STAR labs Researcher

Rewards :$300
           :(2)Marks of Momentum

This quest is quite easy and quick, the researcher asks you
to capture 10 of the paradox infiltrators. There are 2 areas
you can do this and you must visit both as part of the quest.
The reapers will show the action icon above them when they've
taken enough damage in which case you trap them in a force field
and carry them to the drop off point.

4.--------------[Paradox Reapers]------------------------------

Quest Giver: STAR lab scientist

Rewards :$300
           :(2)Marks of Momentum

Another easy quest, this quest requires you to defeat paradox
reapers and aquire energy from them.Aquiring 10 energy will
finish the first part of the quest.Return to the scientist
and she'll ask you to close the ruptures that the reapers were
guarding. Now the ruptures near the reapers should have action
icons above them.Kill the reapers and close the ruptures to
finish the quest.

5.-------------[Disturbance in the Speed Force]----------------

Quest Giver: Billboard near entrance

Rewards :$300
           :(2)Marks of Momentum

This quest requires you to head back to Gotham or Metropolis
to close the speed force ruptures that appear throughout the
cities. This can be a lenghty quest as the cities are quite large
and the ruptures are spread widely thoughout them. However they
do appear in the same spots,so a good memory can come in handy
in this quest as you do them daily.

All the ruptures have waves of paradox reapers spawning out
of them when you activate the rupture, however there are 3
variations of ruptures out there. The first will have a reaper
standing by the rupture and a incapacitated scientist.Defeating
the reaper will allow you to talk to the scientist which starts
the event. You'll have to defend the research device until it's
completed scanning the rupture.Waves and waves of reapers will
attack until the device finishes in which case the rupture will
close. The second type has 2 reapers patrolling around the
rupture and one or both of the reapers will be carrying an energy
ball.Attacking the reapers starts the event and a timer will
appear over the rupture. You must kill the respawning reapers
and steal thier energy balls and place them in the rupture.
Placing 4 energy balls in the rupture before the timer runs out
will close it.The third type also has 2 reapers and also starts
a timer when activated.During the fight many tiny reapers will
appear, killing them will put an action icon above them.Activating
them will send them back into the rupture. It usually takes
about 3 waves of mini reapers to close the rupture.I highly
recommend doing this quest with a group.

[02LS]-----------------The Rogue Bounties-------------------------

Central City bounties
----------------------
1.Abra Kadabra
2.Professor Zoom

Metropolis bounties
----------------------
3.Captain Cold
4.The Top
5.Weather Wizard

Gotham bounties
----------------------
6.Captain Boomerang
7.The Trickster
8.Pied Piper
9.Heat Wave

All rougue bounties are aquired when you activate the bounty
board at the entrance of Central City(the same board that the
Disturbance in the Speed force quest is on,just the other side
of it)

Reward :$75 (per rogue)
         :(1)Mark of Momentum (per rogue)

----------------------Central City Rogues.-------------------

1.Abra Kadabra
2.Professor Zoom

The best thing about these 2 is that they both spawn in the same
areas.Central city is also a small map so that makes it easier.
The spawn points for these guys are:

1.Near the entrance- a little bit infront where you come into
Central City at the street intersection.
Other players will shout "near entrance"
                     or "at entrance".

2.The rear of the Flash Museum- The entire street right behind
the Flash museum is a spawn point.

3.The Gas Tanker- The tanker is located by one of the areas where
                  you capture the reaper infiltrators.Players
will shout "by tanker".There is also a giant
statue of a cup of coffee here.

4.Front of Museum(rare)- This is a rare spawn point but sometimes
they do spawn on the street infront of
                         the museum.

----------------------Metropolis Rogues-----------------------

The big city rogues have many spawn points, maybe 6 or 7, but
there are some they frequent more. When you activate thier bounties
thier area shows up.You just have to listen for the shout outs
by other players and follow thier directions,or get an invite from
someone that's found them already.

3.Captain Cold

Captain Colds Frequent area is the waterfront right by the Midtown
Police station.Scan that whole area for him. Also there is a
building directly behind the police station he likes to spawn on.

Captain Cold is a controller of sorts he likes to trap players
in ice and also has an ice aoe that does alot of damage.

4.The Top

The Top likes to spawn around the Science Spire. He can spawn on
the east and west docks and also directly infront of the spire.
There's also a furniture store not far from the spire he like
to spawn at.

The Top is by far the toughest rogue in my opinion. He has
lots of hp and does lots of aoe damage,he can also summon little
twisters that target players.Large groups are recommended.

5.Weather Wizard

Weather wizard's area is in the China town district. He likes
to spawn in waterfront areas, and also the rooftops by the
Manhiem Theatre. He also spawns at an empty lot with red canopy
roofing.

The Weather Wizard is probably the easiest of the rogues, he
can be beaten with just a normal group of four players, he
has the least amount of hp and deals moderate damage exept
for his ultimate attack which like all the rogues can one
shot many players.

----------------------Gotham Rogues-------------------------

6.Captain Boomerang

Captain Boomerang frequents the area around the amusement
park.Theres an harbor like area near the park that he
spawns at, as well as empty lot infront of the park where
Comm.Gordon is at. Boomerang also spawns on various rooftops
in his area as well.

Captain Boomerang has crazy aoe attacks and he seems to
not care about tanks at all, attacking anyone anywhere
at random and without warning.

7.The Trickster

The Trickster frequents the area around Ace Chemicals and
the Monarch Playing card Co. By Ace Chemicals he can spawn
on the bridge by it or under the bridge,as well as the street
infront of the chemical plant.

The Trickster is a controller and can trap players as well
as stun them.He can create little toy minions and he can
teleport around.

8.The Pied Piper

Piper can be one of the hardest to find because his spawn
area doesnt have many landmarks to referance from.He can
spawn anywhere north of the Botanical Gardens, and thats
alot of "north" there. Theres also a small alley and
apartment courtyard he spawns in, and sometimes he's
just standing in the middle of a street.

Piper is a controller and stuns and traps players, he has
a barrier that he can put up that reduces the amount of
damage he takes drastically,He has some aoe and dot
attacks as well.

9.Heatwave

Heatwave spawns in the diamond district. The R.H Kane building
is one of his spots, the side of the building that has a
fountain. Also the area of water by the Diamond hiest vendor.
Theres also a couple rooftops he frequents as well.

Heatwave is a dps monster and a dot fiend, make sure to have
healers on hand when fighting him, he also has a trap that
dots as well, his aoe effects are wide and can catch unsuspecting
healers and dps that are trying to keep at maximum range.

[04LS]-------------------Flash Museum Duo-------------------------

Duo difficulty :Hard T2
Duo Name :Cosmic Treadmill:Flashback
CR Requirement :43
Rewards :(2)Marks of Distinction

The Flash Museum Duo starts off inside the Flash Museum.
The players have to go talk to the Flash for him to
activate the Cosmic Treadmill.Once activated step through
the ruprture to enter the Speed Force.

-The Speed Force-

This area can be pretty tough if you rush it.Just slowly
make your way through the tunnel as you kill the paradox
reapers.Move too fast and you could get overwhelmed. At most
you'll be fighting 4 or 5 at a time.Kill of a group and then
press forward till the next group spawns, stop , kill them
and so forth. The tunnell isn't as long as it looks, you'll
make it to the exit rupture soon enough.

-Police Station-

Now we're in the Central City police station.Head upstairs
to find a shooting range, a poor janitor or something
fearing for his life and 3 mind controlled police men.
Take out the officers and head to the next room. Here's the
repair station. The next room has the first of many music
machines, this will damage you as long as you're in it's
area of effect, destroy them.Take out the police and head
to next area. This large room has 3 music machines and a
boat load of cops, about 10 of them. There's a room inside
here to the right that you dont have to go in.It has a
investigation in it and 5 or 6 cops.Head through the metal
detectors into the hall and hang a right.there's a music
machine around the corner, but first take out the 2 cops in
the small room to you're right.Take out the machine and the
other 2 cops in the hall then head upstairs.

Boss-------------------Pied Piper------------------------

In the boss room there are stray cops till about halfway
into the room.Take them out slowly as to not start the
boss battle ahead of time. There should be about 6 of them.
Now when your ready head towards Piper to start the fight.
Piper has 6 police under his control,he will send them
after you 2 at a time. Piper has alot of capture and stun
effects, one specifically can do alot of damage unless
your partner can damage Piper enough for him to stop.
Piper can also raise a shield to reduce the damage he takes
and he usually will activate 2 of the cops while this is
happening.

-Police Station[Prison Cells]-

After Piper is down head out the door and into the prison
area. Here there are more music machines and now instead
of cops there are escaped prisoners. The first hallway
will have 1 machine and 2 prisoners. In the next large
room there will be escaping prisoners and 2 machines.
Stop the prisoners from opening the other cells and letting
out more of them. There could be as many as 10 to 12
prisoners in this room if they all escape.(although in one
of the cells is an investigation).Head upstairs for a
cutscene with Abra Kadabra and head into the hallway
to the right. Activate the lockboxes simultaneously to
open the door to the boss room.

Boss------------------Abra Kadabra----------------------

Abra starts the fight by summoning the robots you see
on the floor when you walk in.Taking them out will make
Abra summon 2 little mystic talismans out of which will
spawn mystic guardians.Destroy these to stop the adds
from spawning. After they are destroyed and Abra has
taken some damage he'll transform either into a large
ice golem or a giant demon. He'll stay in this form till
near death when he'll transform back and attack with
large shockwaves or summon a swarm of bats or crows to
attack you. Finish him off and you've completed the
Cosmic treadmill duo.
