I am 15 years old, born in El Salvador on January 2nd, 1987 and this is my first ever FAQ I ever written. I hope you guys like this one I wrote. A B O U T M E G A M A N XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Megaman (better known as Rockman in Japan) was created by Dr. Light and in his previous adventures, he has been saving the world a lot. To kids at the age of 3-10, he has been Capcom's popular character. Dr. Light's partner, Dr. Wily, had helped Dr. Light then he grew sinister and started to take over the world using his creations. Megaman, along with his cunning and helpful sister, Roll, his robot dog, Rush, his robot bird, Beat, and his robot flip-top, Eddie, foiled Dr. Wily's plans to get world chaos with his creations. C.1P: Megaman crouches and delivers a jab punch. S.2P: Megaman does a special move. (See below) J.2P: Megaman jumps and does a special move. C.2P: Megaman lands an uppercut on the opponent. S.1K: Megaman will just deliver a short kick. J.1K: Megaman jumps and kicks at a 45 degree angle. C.1K: Megaman crouches and kicks upward. S.2K: Megaman launches a roundhouse kick. J.2K: Megaman jumps and launches the smash kick. C.2K: Megaman slides and kicks like M. Bison would. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX 5. S P E C I A L S XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Mega Buster - 2P (Hold for a better attack) Megaman will blast a blue energy ball from his hand cannon. If the button is held, he'll glow and if released, the red ball of energy is fired, executing a better attack. (1 Hit for normal, 2-3 Hits for charged-up) Mega Uppercut - f, d, df + P Megaman's hand is covered with blue field and he does a Shoryuken-type uppercut on the opponent. (1 Hit) Item Use - d, df, f + P Megaman will use one of the 3 items available. Item Change - ?, ?, ? + K Megaman will call upon Eddie and he will drop a ball containing the weapon's icon. Megaman must then walk to the ball to change the item. The 3 available items are as follows: Rock Ball - d, df, f + K Megaman will drop a ball. Use K to make him kick the ball. This isn't a very useful item. (1 Hit) Tornado Hold - f, d, df + K Megaman will drop a capsule and it will turn into a tornado, causing moderate and good blocking damage. Very useful to start and end various combos. (3 Hits) Leaf Shield - d, db, b + K Megaman will cover himself with approximately 9 or 10 leaves and saves him from one unblocked hit. Fire this item the second time, the leaves will shoot out causing good damage. This item is useful. (6 Hits) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX X 6. H Y P E R C O M B O S ( S U P E R S ) X XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Hyper Megaman - d, df, f + PP Megaman will call upon all his robotic animals and he will transform into one big robot and he will fire lots of missiles and then he'll turn back to normal. This super is useful and has good blocking damage. (16-20 Hits) Rush Drill - d, df, f + KK Megaman will call upon Rush and the robotic dog will turn into a drill car and Megaman will jump in and you can control the drill car. f or b to steer the car and P to accelerate to the opponent. This super is very useful and has excellent blocking damage. (20-25 Hits) Beat Bomber - d, db, b + KK Megaman will call upon Beat and the robotic bird will turn into a bomber and Megaman will jump in and, as with the Rush Drill, you can control the bomber. f or b to steer the bomber, P to fire guns and K to drop bombs on the ground. This super is useful and has good blocking damage. (15-20 Hits) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX 7. C O M B O S XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I know a number of combos and I found them useful. E-mail me if you have more combos about Megaman. These are the known and soon-to-come combos. 1) Charge Mega Buster, Use Tornado Hold, Release Mega Buster (5 Hits) 2) C. Roundhouse, Hyper Megaman (20-25 Hits) 3) Charge Mega Buster, C. Roundhouse, Release Mega Buster XX Hyper Megaman (25-30 Hits) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XX 8. M E G A M A N 'S F A V O U R I T E T E A M S XXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX These are my favourite teams. Again, e-mail me for more teams of your favourite. 1) Megaman (y, Balance), Cyclops (a, Projectile), Iron Man (b, Anti-Air) My Hall-Of-Fame team I no longer use. I like to cheap my opponents with Optic Blast, Unibeam and Mega Buster. Their team Super (Mega Optic Blast, Proton Cannon & Hyper Megaman) takes up a lot of damage. The last team super I worked was at 103 Hits (Marvelous!!!!!). This is my basic team since I started playing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Use them with caution. 2) Megaman (y, Balance), Morrigan (b, Projectile), Cable (a, Projectile) My current favourite team. Again, with my Hall-Of-Fame team, I like to cheap opponents with Mega Buster, Soul Fist and Viper Beam. Their team Super (Hyper Megaman, Soul Eraser and Hyper Viper Beam), it should take up a LOT of damage. The last time I worked the team super, I rocked out 75 Hits! (Monster!!) Use this team with pride. 3) Megaman (y, Balance), Morrigan (b, Projectile), Jill (a, Heal) This team will probably be useful if you're into trouble and got hooked by AC's. Bring out Jill if you find that Megaman's or Morrigan's HP is low. Their team Super (Hyper Megaman, Soul Eraser, Rocket Launcher) should take a lot of HP away. Use with caution. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX 9. M E G A M A N V S. A B Y S S XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 1st Form - Big Robot Form Try shooting Abyss with the Mega Buster. If you can try the Tornado Hold/Mega Buster combo above when you are close to him. Block all attacks. 2nd Form - Green Goo Form Again, shoot Abyss with the Mega Buster. If he uses the bubble move, jump to avoid it all. Again, block all attacks. 3rd Form - Big Beast Form Keep shooting Abyss. When he pops up, use Hyper Megaman on him. Keep the Combo gauge on Level 3 or above, so you can perform the Team Super. (Use my team for this bit.) Block all attacks at all times! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX X 10. S T R A T E G I E S & R A T I N G X XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Megaman is, like Mario in Super Smash Bros., a all-around character, in terms of air combos, projectile attacks and many more. I use him for cheaping out any single person who attempts a air combo on him. I would jump before they start, but they'll stop me before reaching the other side. I suggest you use him in whatever way you want. The only problem I find with Megaman is that every Special or Super he does, he recovers for a long time giving the opponent the oppritunity to attack. Attack Power - 7 (Good) His attacks will hopefully save him if used to good measure. Defense Strength - 4 (Fair) His defense isn't very good. If hooked to an air combo, he could end up K-O'ed. Speed - 8 (Excellent) His speed is strong and I could that he'll strike before his opponent does a projectile attack. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX 11. M I S C E L L A N E O U S XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Assist Types (Variable Assist, Variable Counter) Variable Combo: Hyper Megaman (All Assist Types) a - Projectile Type (Mega Buster, Mega Buster) b - Anti-Air Type (Mega Uppercut, Mega Uppercut) y - Balance Type (Mega Buster, Mega Uppercut) Colors 1P: Blue suit and helmet, Light Blue shirt 2P: Green suit and helmet, Light Green shirt 1K: Red suit and helmet, Pink shirt 2K: Orange suit and helmet, Yellow shirt A1: Black suit and helmet, White shirt A2: Red suit and helmet, Yellow shirt Winning Poses - Roll runs in to give Megaman a bouquet of flowers - Megaman throws a peace sign and Dr. Light's hologram appears - Megaman poses with his helmet off I don't know the rest.
