01. INTRODUCTION
This 'Spoiler-Free' walkthrough for Resident Evil CODE: Veronica is not
meant to be in-depth. If you want an in-depth Walkthrough (one that DOES
have spoilers), then I suggest that you take a look at my other 300+ KB
Resident Evil CODE: Veronica FAQ/Walkthrough, which can be found at the
RE:CV page at www.gamefaqs.com. This specific guide, however, contains
__No Spoilers__, and is meant for those gamers who just need a little
"push" to get them through the game, and not a step-by-step walkthrough.
I suggest using this guide to get through the game on your own for the
most part, and if you want to use a guide that does not ruin the game
for you. This guide was inspired by the kick ass "No-nonsense" Guides
for CC and FFIX by Elranzer, and the Speed Guide for Parasite Eve by
iamnothing (David Blake). Superb.

Prison:
Equip Lighter
Take the Bullets and Combat Knife
Get Bullets, then go outside
Enter the prison house, and into the bunk room
Take the MP-100's
Leave prison house, and go around to the other side
Enter security room, and place metallic items in security box
Go into the door to the left of the end of the hall
Take the Hawk Emblem from the desk drawer
Switch on the blue wall switch
Go back outside, and open large steel shutter
Take the Fire Extinguisher
Get the Padlock Key from the Guillotine Area near the Steel Shutter
Go back to the graveyard, and use the Fire Extinguisher on the flames
TAKE THE EMPTY FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO AN ITEM BOX RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Take the Briefcase. Examine it to get the TG-01
Go back to the 3-D Duplicator, and on the way back, unlock the gate near
the Prison House
Place the TG-01 in the 3-D Duplicator, and create a duplicate Hawk Emblem
Leave, and use the Hawk Emblem duplicate on the large gate outside
Go down the bridge, get the Herbs, then search the jeep for some
bullets
Push the white crate and climb over the fire, and go up the stairs to
leave the prison

Palace:
Enter the Palace
Go upstairs to the Save Room
Get the ID Card from the ground underneath the small chest
Go downstairs to 1F, and input "NTCO394" on the computer
Enter the blue door on 1F, and take the Duralumin Case
Enter the hallway you unlocked with the computer
Go through the door at the end, and push the blue button
Take the steering wheel
Attempt to leave the Palace
Return to the room with the blue button on 1F
In here, examine the wall near the tank case, and match the 'C' and 'E'
boxes
Exit the Palace, and take the Navy Proof from the ground
Head through the door opposite of where you entered the courtyard
Use the Steering Wheel on the control panel and enter the submarine
Take the sidepack
Go down the ladder into the airport

Airport:
Go through the door near the fishtank
Use the Navy Proof on the control panel
Go back to the first room, and head through the steel shutter door
Use the lift and move the hook up until it stops, then left until it
stops. Drop the hook to move the crate.
Push the switch near the crate and take the Biohazard Card and Bow Gun
Arrows
Go back to the Palace Courtyard, then head out to the bridge, then to
the right and to the Military Training Facility

Military Training Facility:
Avoid the worm, and enter the MTF (Military Training Facility)
Head up the stairs, and take the Bow Gun
Go downstairs, and enter the first door to the right of the stairs
Take the MTF Map from the fax machine
Leave the room, then enter the wood door, and into the locker room
Enter the Sauna through the back door in the locker room
Hop in the pool and turn off the fountain. Take the Key and go back
to the room where you got the MTF Map
Use the Key on the lockers and take the Bow Gun Powder
Use the Biohazard Card on the shutter door near the locker room
Go up the stairs and through the door to the right
Enter the Save Room and take the Hemostatic Medicine
Leave the Save Room and go through the door to the right
Enter the the door to the right, and grab the Sub-Machine Guns
Go downstairs and through the open door
Head through the door to the right of the large gate, then through
the next door at the top of the stairs
Follow Steve through the door
Go through the wooden door near the jeep, then head through the door at
the end of the hall
Take the Eagle Plate, then go back to the jeep, and head through the double
doors
Head through this area, and go until you get back outside the MTF, and
avoid the worm once again
Enter the MTF, and use the Biohazard Card and go outside, then up the
stairs
Use the Hawk Emblem on the Shield at the top
Go back to the jeep, and head through the door near the jeep, and take
the elevator up to 2F
Enter the room, and take the Army Proof, then return to the MFT, and use
the Biohazard Card on the shutter door once again
Go up the stairs, and enter the lab
Input "1126" on the door lock, then take the Picture from the wall
Return to the jeep where Steve is, and enter the save room where you got
the Hawk Emblem
Place the Picture on the wall
Take the Gold Key
Take the small elevator to B1F
Run across the bridge, until you get to the large gate
Use the Emblem Card on it, and take the Grenade Launcher
Return to the Palace

Palace:
Enter the hallway near the desk, and enter the double doors at the end by
using the Gold Key
Solve the painting puzzle (refer to my FAQ/Walkthrough for the solution
if you get stuck)
Take the vase then get the Queen Ant Object from it
Head to the Save Room, and use the Gold Lugers on the door inside
In the next room, find the solution to the puzzle from the music box
Enter '1971' on the computer
Use the new door and enter the Private Residence

Private Residence:
Go up the stairs and into the bedroom
Close the music box, then take the Silver Key from the bed
Go back to the Palace

Palace:
Enter the hallway behind the desk, and use the Silver Key on the door
across from where you enter the hall
Get the Eagle Plate from the ground
Go back to the Prison
============================================================================
Prison:
Head back to the guard where you started
Give him the HemoStatic Medicine and get the item
Go to the Guillotine Cage, and use the Eagle Plate on the door
Search and enter the torture room
Get the Duralumin Case, examine it to get the M93R parts
Kill the 'doctor' zombie and take the Glass Eye
Place the Glass Eye on the statue
Go down the stairs, and enter the room with the statues
Take the Rusted Sword
Put the Rusted Sword into the ground and get the Piano Roll
Go back to the Palace

Palace:
Go up the stairs and enter the Casino that is across from the Save Room
Use the Piano Roll on the piano
Take the King Ant Object, then go to the Private Residence

Private Residence:
Go upstairs to the bedroom and get the Music Box Plate
Head around the hall and into the next bedroom
Put the King Ant Object into the music box, then put the Music Box Plate
into the box
Go up the ladder and take the Silver Dragonfly
Make it a key by tearing off it's wings
Place the Key on the painting
Read the letter, and get the Air Force Proof
Get all of your Proofs from your Item Box or inventory, then return to the
submarine

Submarine:
Use the submarine and enter the airport
============================================================================
Airport:
Go through the door near the fishtank, and place the other two Proofs
into the control panel near the water
Enter the Airplane
Take the Lever
Leave the plane, and go through the door across from the fishtank
Make your way to the lift, and enter the next door
Activate the bridge, go across, and take the Airport Key from the bodies
Return to the lift
Enter the door using the Airport Key
Push the crate from under the elevator
Move the crates out of the way of the elevator, then open the elevator
Enter it, and go right when it stops
Run back to the airplane

Airplane:
Save your game at the typewriter, then head to the back of the plane
Fight the boss

The Base:
Go down the ladder and through the door near the stairs
Take the items from this room, exit the room, and go down the stairs
Run forward and into the save room
Take the items and push the shelf
Open the locker, then leave the save room
Go through the door to Claire's right of the save room
Use the lockpick on the cabinet to get some 'ammo'
Enter the door labeled "Weapons", and take the Mining Room Key
Keep going towards the back, and get the gun from the drawer in the back
of the room
Take the Detonator from the corpse
Put the Detonator on the cabinet, then leave the room
Enter the room labeled "BOW"
Grab the Bar Code Sticker, then leave the room
Head up the small flight of stairs, and use the Mining Room Key on the
door
Go through the door on the other side of the room
Activate the Blue Light
Activate the Power Switch in the center of the room
Go back to the main room, and run to the area across from the small flight
of stairs
Place the Bar Code Sticker on the crate labeled "Anti BOW Gas", then
hit the switch near it
Go into the BOW Room, and take the Gas Mask
Go back to the Save Room, and hit the button in the locker
Take the planter, and get the Machine Room Key from it
Go out of the room, and up the stairs, then through the double doors to the
right of the stairs
Enter the room to find the valve handle
Go past the catwalk and enter the door at the end
Use the metal cutter on the valve handle
Return to the main room where you put the Bar Code Sticker on the box
Enter the door at the top of the small flight of stairs
Use the valve handle on the pipe to Claire's right
Stock up on ammo, then head back to where you last saw Steve
Take the Sniper Rifle, then go to Steve
Fight the boss

Island:
Take the herb and talk with the man
Save your game at the typewriter, then go through the door
Kill the large enemy, and get the item from the man
Return to the main room, and pull down the lever on the wall, then
light the hand to get some Dual Submachine Guns
Go back to where you fought the large enemy, and take the elevator
up to the MTF

Military Training Facility:
Go through the double doors near the jeep
Push the button near the tank, then take the lift down
Enter the Save Room in this hallway
Take the items in here, then open the 2nd drawer, then the 3rd drawer, then
the 1st drawer to unlock the last drawer.
Take the Luger Replicas
Get the Battery Pack from the end of the hallway
Use the Battery Pack on the yellow lift near the jeep
Take the Chemical Storage Key from the end of the catwalk
Head through the door, then through the door to the left
Go up the stairs, and through the door to the right
Take the Sidepack from the room
Leave and take the elevator to B1F

Sewers:
Go down the stairs and take the shotgun from the wall
Head through the next door
Hit the switch near the capsule; take the Assault Rifle clip
Head through the double doors, and left through the next door
Enter the Lab
Open the refridgerator with the Chemical Storage Key, and set the
temperature to 12.8 degrees F
Take the Clement E
Return to the Sewer's, put the Shotgun back, and go back upstairs

Military Training Facility:
Take the elevator to 2F
Go left, and run past the laser
Go into the room where you got the SidePack
Enter the hole in the wall
Place the Door Knob on the knob-less door
Head to Chris's left to get the Tank Object
Return to the elevator and go to 1F
Go into the save room to the right of the elevator
Place the Tank Object into the Model of the MTF
Grab the Turn Table Key, then take the elevator to B1F

MTF Labs:
Use the Turn Table Key on the Turn Table near the room where you got the
Clement E
Go through the hole in the wall, then go right
Climb down the ladder
Use Emblem Key on gate
Enter small room and get the Clement A
Use worktable to modify your gun
Return to the MTF

Military Training Facility:
Go outside of the MTF, and take the large elevator down
Exit through the shutter door
Take the lift and go through the next door
Cross the bridge and solve the oil puzzle in the next room (To find the
solution, check my other FAQ/Walkthrough for RE:CV)
Lower the bridge
Go back downstairs and cross the bridge
Head through the next door and hit the switch on the control
panel
Take the 3 Proofs from the small lift here
Return to the MTF and go to the room with the MTF Model in it
Place the 3 Proofs in the hole in the wall
Go down the ladder, and take the Eagle Plate from the water pool
Take the elevator to 2F
Go to the catwalk, and take the yellow lift down
Combine the Eagle Plate and the Clement Mix
Head through the doors behind the jeep, and use the Halberd on the
door at the end of the hallway

The Base:
Enter the Save Room at the bottom of the stairs
Place the Halberd in the wall slot to get the Paper Weight
Take the Empty Fire Extinguisher from the Item Box; leave the Save Room
Head through the double doors near the ladder
Go past the catwalk and enter the door
Run into the door to Chris's left
Hit the switch and fill up the Empty Fire Extinguisher
Take the lift down, put out the fire, and take the Magnum
Find the Octa Valve on the pipe where you shut off the gas with Claire
Go back to the hall before the room where you filled the extinguisher
and follow the hall and enter the door at the end
Go into the next door, and place the Octa Valve on the green control
panel, then press the power switch
Go down the hall and into the next room
Push the statue on the crack in the ground
Go down the small hall, and take each tiger eye from the tiger head to
get the Magnum rounds and the Socket
Take the elevator near the tiger
Grab the wing near the anthill
Go left, and solve the puzzle: AA, Crown, Heart, Spade. Now put the
Paper Weight into the drawer to get Alfred's Ring
Examine it to get Alfred's Jewel
Head back to the elevator and ride it
Go to the save room/power supply room, and take the Magnum
Go through the door to the right of the save room
Take the Wing Object from the ground
Hop into the water and take the 3rd Wing Object from the statue
Go through the next double doors
Go up the stairs and take your Knife
Check behind the stairs
Use your knife for the "problem"
If you need the 'special item', you can find it in the room where you
re-filled your empty fire extinguisher
Go into the room with the Item Box, and get some weapons, and get some
good weapons, but leave the Grenade Launcher. Take the shotgun.
Put the shotgun in the place on the wall, and take the items. Put the
shotgun back into the Item Box
Go through the next door and through the hall
Examine the cannon and get the glass ball fast
Lure the weight to fall on top of the ball and get the Security Card
Use the Security Card on the door near where you entered the area from
Avoid the boss
Fight the boss with your Magnum
Take Alexia's Choker
Examine it to get Alexia's Jewel
Go to the room where you re-filled your fire extinguisher and ride the
lift down
Combine: Socket and Valve
Use the valve to lower the water, then go down the ladder and take the
Crane Key
Leave the room, then through the door to the right
Take the Jewel from the Ice
Examine it to get Alexandar's Jewel
Shut off the power in the save/power supply room
Return to where you found your Knife
Use all 3 Jewels on the picture at the top of the stairs
Go right at the intersection, then go through the first door on the left
Get the Sterile Room Key
Use the Key on the double doors near the main stairs, and take both of
the jewels from the tiger head in the hallway
Go back upstairs, then go left at the intersection, and into the bedroom
Head through the door/statue into the next bedroom
Place the Red Jewel into the music box, take the Music Plate
Return to the first bedroom, place the Blue Jewel in the music box, then
place the Music Plate into the box
Go up the ladder and take the Dragonfly Object
Return to the entrance of the hallway, and go through the doors to the left
of the door you first came through from the top of the red stairs
Take the lift down, hit the switch, take the 4th Wing Object
Combine: All 4 Wing Objects and the Dragonfly Object
Take the lift back up, and enter the other door in this room, the one up
the small flight of stairs
Head into the room to the right, and stock up on weapons and healing items
Go back into the hallway, and go right
Examine the file to get the Security Card
Head up the next set of stairs
Use the Gold Dragonfly on the door, and enter it
Head to the control panel, and enter the password which is the title of the
game (You should know it. If you do not, then you are a sad individual. Now
check out my other RE:CV FAQ/Walkthrough to find out the password you sad,
sad person...)
Leave the room and fight the final boss. Refer to my other RE:CV
FAQ/Walkthrough to find out how to beat the final boss
