Oddly enough, this Dynasty Warriors clone was published by NIS America (who normally focuses on strategy RPGs), but it's still pretty damn good. You'll definitely get your dose of both Bleach and good hack and slash action. Although, if you're like me and watch the Japanese version of Bleach, you'll notice the story mode is lacking the more recent arcs even though it was Ichigo's final form on the cover. Anyways, hopefully you'll find this guide enjoyable and informative! ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Controls (CNT) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ (Taken directly from game manual) D-Pad: Change lock-on target Left Stick: Move character Right Stick: Move camera Circle Button: Super Move X Button: Jump Square Button: Basic Attack Triangle Button: Pressure Attack Start: Pause game Select: Not used L1: Toggle lock-on L2: Power Up / Ignition Attack L3: Confirm area exit R1: Guard R2: Dash R3: Reset camera view ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Story Mode (SRM) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ (Taken from game manual) In this mode, you will use a designated character to play through the story- line according to the original series. Follow espidoes will be unlocked as you clear each current episode. You can play cleared episodes as many times as you want. Before the episode begins, you will be asked to select your difficulty level. ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 01: On to Hueco Mundo (E01) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ All right, your first story mission! This level will basically be a tutorial level and show you the ropes for fighting. As you can see walking down the path, these levels are pretty linear so I'll just be detailing the fights. The first arena you enter will have around 50 or so grunt enemies. Use this chance to acclamate yourself with the various combos and techniques that Ichigo has. Make sure to read the help screens, as they're actually "helpful" in this game. Once you've defeated the enemies, the barrier will open and you can con- tinue to the next area (the red line). As you enter the area, you'll be told how to dash (very useful). Dash into the big group of floating enemies in front of you and start attacking. Since I'm one of those "kill every enemy" people and not a "beat the level as quick as possible" people, I killed every last one of them. I don't know the benefits of each, but generally in Dynasty Warriors games speed and number of kills can balance each other out. Anyway, whether you killed them all or not, head down the path and you'll be in another battle arena. In this arena you'll fight your first named enemy: a Slug Tortoise. He's pretty easy though, combo him to where he flips over and then obliterate him. Kill off the rest of the grunts and the arena will open allowing you to proceed to the next area. This is the final area of Episode 01! You'll be fighting a Menos Grande and then three Menos Grandes. Basically, the easiest strategy for this is to go Hollow Ichigo and then lock on and fly-dash up to their faces and unleash a combo. Do this two or three times for each and you'll defeat them with ease. One this to watch out for is their golden barrier attack. It lights up in the sky first, so you'll have a bit of time to flash step out of the way. Unlocked: Uryu Ishida | Episode 02 & 03 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 02: Castle of Hollows (E02) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 02 will have you using Ishida instead of Ichigo. Ishida is a more long ranged character and therefore can utilize both his spirit bow and his sword. You'll also be informed that Ishida uses Gintos instead of Spirit Pressure. The attack he uses will be based on how many Gintos he has remaining. So make your way through the hallways, defeating the smattering of small floating enemies (use your bow) and typical grunt hollows along the way. In the second semi-big area, you'll face off against several Arrancar Vuelos. Though they are given a name, these enemies are basically one hit kills. Just use your bow combo on them and they'll be dead in no time. After you've finished with that arena, continue down the hallway and at the fork head right. Dash all the way to the red line, enemies spawning behind you, but stop right before you exit the area. With all the enemies bunched up Ishida's Seeleschnider will absolutely destroy them. Once they're all defeated, head to the next area. As you start this area, you'll find out another of Ishida's unqiue features, that his guard does damage. So, when the black hole opens up and all those small fish hollows start pouring out, just camp in front of it and guard to get a nice kill chain. Head into the next big square room for an arena with three Slaughter Tortoises. Simply wait for them to flip over and unleash a Seeleschnider to defeat them quickly. Follow the path, killing the enemies that spawn along the way, and you'll shortly reach the entrance to the next area. Break the wall and head inside. This final area will be a battle against the arrancar that Szayel created with science. It's a super easy battle, it's just that some of the arrancar take more than one-hit to kill. A good strategy is to bunch them all together and get into Ignition Mode and use his final attack to kill all of them in one fell swoop. Unlocked: Mission 01 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 03: Blood Battle (E03) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ As you start the episode, some grunt enemies will spawn. Kill them and head to the first battle arena. Here you'll be tasked with killing around ten or so Cruel Angels. Like the Arrancar Vuelo's from last episode they aren't tough at all. Once you've defeated them, more smaller hollows will spawn on your way to the next area. In the next area more grunt enemies will spawn along your path (pretty much the entire game is "grunts -> arena -> grunts -> arena -> final battle") on your way to the arena. Here you'll encounter a slightly more challenging ene- my called "Fishbone". The main worry here is their massive hand smash attack, but don't worry you can just flash step out of it and take them down with a few combos. There's three total before you open the arena. Make your way for- ward killing some more enemies and you'll go to the next area to fight Grimm- jow. All right, time for your first legit boss fight. The main thing to notice is his speed as he will often times flash step behind you and combo you. A good strategy is to immediately get into Hollow form and use Hollow Getsugatenshou to take down a good chunck of his health. Be wary of when he powers up as he blocks far more often and if you're comboing into his blocking right beside him, that split-second when your character stops comboing will leave you com- pletely vulnerable. Once he's down to about 1/3 health another cutscene will start and he will become slightly stronger. Don't worry though, just focus on using simple combos and your normal Getsugtenshou to keep him at bay and he shouldn't be too much trouble. Unlocked: Rukia Kuchiki & Kenpachi Zaraki & Grimmjow | Episode 04 & 05 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 04: Ultimate vs Merciless (E04) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Another new character, Kenpachi is every bit as strong in this game as he is in the show. Mow your way through the first set of enemies and into the first arena. The named hollow this go around is "Terror Gigant" whom aren't very powerful, but do shoot a continuous stream of water blasts at you. A simple power combo will take out these guys no problem. There are three total and a smattering of smaller enemies to take out before you open the arena. After- ward, some more hollows will spawn. Take care of them and head to the next area. Demolish the first set of spawning hollows and then break down the obvious breakable wall to come to your first crossroads. Right heads to a few more enemies and another breakable wall, behind which you'll find a fish spawn to farm some easy kills and experience with. Then head back left to fight another Terror Gigant before breaking two walls and entering the final area. Another Espada boss fight here you'll be fighting Nnoitora, the 5th Espada. If you immediate get into Ignition and release your Ignition attack, you'll knock Nnoitora's health down to 1/3 and enter a cutscene. Once you're able to move, Nnoitora powers up and is now stupidly strong; nevermind the fact he's already got the highest defense of any Espada. However, he's still slower than Grimm- jow making him much easier to actually hit. If he does happen to attack you, prepare to lose a good chuck of health because all six of his scyths hit you simultaneously. Unlocked: Nnoitora | Mission 02 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 05: Exequias (E05) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Another new character at your disposal, we now have the ability to play as everyone's favorite female (at least in Japan) Rukia. Her attacks are slightly weak, but she does have a long range ability with her kido spells. Also, her special attacks are absurdly powerful and have either a huge AoE or have mass- ive distance reach. So, follow your way through a good bit of grunt enemies until you reach the first arena. Today's flavor of named arrancar is Arrancar Sotano. These guys are powerful, but if you let several of them spawn, their tentacle attacks can gang up on you. They, and the rest of the enemies in the arena, are easily defeated by your Tsukishiro. Once you've defeated them, head to the next area. This area is again a long stretch of nothing but normal spawning enemies and then one arena at the end. This arena is populated with A TON of Exequias. The easiest to deal with them is to go into Ignition Mode and unleash Rukia's Ha- kuren attack, which if done correctly, can get your combo meter up into the 200s with one blast. Then use a Tsukishiro and a couple of combos to keep the meter churning while building back up Ignition to repeat the process. I ended up with a 350+ combo meter by the time I had killed all of them. With this arena down, head to the final area. This boss fight isn't so much challenging as it is annoying. It's basically a cycle of use Ignition, use Hakuren, use Tsukishiro, kill some of the enemies he spawns to get back into Ignition, repeat over and over. Rudobon's attacks aren't very powerful but they will knock you back a ways, making the other Exequias spread out and make it harder to build Ignition meter. After about 4 Hakurens though, he should be finished. Unlocked: Episode 06 | Mission 03 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 06: Despair (E06) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Back in the saddle with Ichigo, this first area is another long treck through grunt enemies culminating in one battle arena at the end. This one is slightly different though, in that it spawns enemies in the two rooms to your left and right instead of the normal group right in front of you. These are just re- hashes of the hollows you fought in Ishida's final room, so they shouldn't pose much of a threat. Hollow Getsugatensho will easily take out an entire room in one swoop if you want to use it here. Once you're done with them, head to the next area. This area will give you a slight branching path, left you will fight an arena with Repilebones (slightly stronger than Fishbones) and right you will fight Arrancar Sotano's. Either way doesn't take very long, so I fought both for more kills and experience. Follow along either pathway toward the exit and you will fight some more grunt enemies (I believe there's slightly more on the right hand side) and then face off against two Reptilebones and two larger Hollow in the little room before the exit. Here is one of my personal favorite boss fights from the anime, Ichigo vs. the double resurrection form of Ulquiorra. Unfortunately, unlike the anime, this boss fight is pretty easy. Turn Hollow and unleash Getsugatensho to take away half of his health immediately. Then just stick to him and combo him whenever he starts to get up for a very dissatisfying boss fight. Unlocked: Hollowfied Ichigo | Episode 07 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 07: Heart (E07) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ This entire episode is just the boss fight between Full Hollow Ichigo and double resurrection Ulquiorra. It's a pretty intense fight as you can't imme- diately destroy him with your Cero Gigante. Instead, use your combo then throw your sword to use Horo and it does pretty decent damage. Ulquiorra's attacks seemed to do much more damage this time around, so if you need health destroy the containers around the edge of the arena to grab some. Other than that it's just a normal-tier boss fight. Unlocked: Soi Fon & Shunsui Kyoraku & Toshiro Hitsugaya & Ulquiorra | Epiosde 08, 09, & 10 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 08: Ice Dragon VS Imperial Shark (E08) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Now begins the battles against the top three Espada. Here you'll be playing as Hitsugaya going to face Halibel. Histugaya is pretty ridiculously over-powered as his normal combos have a shockwave, almost all of his specials do some sort of AoE damage and he's pretty quick. (To bad he's a stupid character in the anime.) Anyway, your first battle arena will just be some named arrancar you've already fought, so deal with them accordingly. Keep heading forward and killing the enemies along the way, including the Terror Gigant guarding the next battle arena. It's just another collection of medium power arrancar so have fun trying out his different special attacks and seeing what works best for you. Also note, his one weakness is low defense and low health as I didn't even realize I was almost dead by the end of this battle. In the next area, you'll have another left/right split; as well as having a dead end directly in front of you. The dead end leads to a container with a full Ignition refill and some enemies and the right path just leads to a Rep- tilebone and some grunt enemies. Going left will lead you to another Terror Gigant as well as the next arena with a new named arrancar, Doom Gigant. These guys have much more health than their Terror brothers; however, simpy floating above the ground and comboing / using Sennen Hyoro will allow you to evade their attacks and deal with them pretty easily. With those two dead, head out of the battle arena and to the next area. This boss battle is probably the most technical one thus far. Halibel will completely wreck Histugaya if you let her as her attacks are pretty powerful. The main tactic here is to use Sennen Hyoro to trap her and then combo her while she's frozen. If you get too low of health, use the same tactic, except instead of attacking her, back away and let your spirit pressure refill; then when it explodes quickly combo her and repeat. At around 1/3 the flooding cut- scene will happen and she will get slightly more powerful. The same tactics still apply. If you came in with Ignition mode all of this can be bypassed as by now you know any Ignition attacks absolutely destroy bosses. Unlocked: Halibel ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 09: God of Hueco Mundo (E09) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ The next episode is Soi Fon's fight against Barragan, the God of Hueco Mundo. This first area splits off to the left and right, the left side has you fight a bunch of smaller hollows; whereas the right side pits you against several larger hollows. Use both of these chances to find out Soi Fon's different strengths and weakness and what her play style consists of. It's basically a very quick style with powerful specials, Suzumebachi in particular. When you get to the end of either road an arena will open up with several Doom Gigants and a Death Flier. Using Suzumebachi twice on any of these enemies will result in an instant KO so make liberal use of that attack. When you're through with them, head to the next area. As you start the area, there will be a few grunt enemies and a Menos Grande in front of you. Use Suzumebachi on it and the other Menos to your left, then make quick work of the grunts. You'll then find yourself in an arena intro- ducing the new Arrancar Duro and some more Doom Gigants. You know what to do here, Suzumebachi and combo to build back up spirit pressure and you'll be good to go. Head to the final area to fight Barragan. Immediately use your Ignition attack to drop his health to half, and then the fun begins. Whenever Barragan has a purple aura around him, back away. If you get too close he'll slow you down and you'll be susceptible to mad combos, which given Soi Fon's EXTREMELY low health is bad. Barragan will also occas- sionally sit in his throne and summon some random hollows; run away. These guys will also combo you nearly to death. The easiest method is to just combo him when he's not glowing purple and then when you have him at about 1/5th health use Suzumebachi twice for a very cool final kill mini-cutscene. Unlocked: Barragan ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 10: Lone Wolf (E10) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ The final Espada battle episode, here you'll be using my absolute favorite character in Bleach, Kyoraku. He's pretty powerful and his dual blades are extremely useful for taking out swathes of enemies. Speaking of which, the first battle arena is two rooftops full of enemies, so use that time to used to his attacks and specials. Kageoni and Takaoni are useful in a variety of situations as well as Bushogama. Pretty much, Kyoraku is a special attack powerhouse. Move forward after the battle arena and kill the Menos Grande in front of you. Further on you'll hit another battle arena full of smaller hollows. At this point I realized that Bushogama is super over-powered and abused it to death in the arena. Once you've finished dealing with the last of the small annoyingly hard to hit enemies the arena will open up, allowing you to progress to the next area. This next area is one giant battle arena. Here's you'll fight several Rot Fliers and a bunch of just normal type hollows. The Rot Fliers just kind of fly around not really attacking you so they shouldn't pose too much of a threat, albeit they are slightly hard to hit with Kyoraku's specials. Other than that, it's a quick arena without much work invovled. After you have finished, head to the next area to fight Stark. Stark is definitely the most challenging boss you've faced till now. His main gun attack is super quick and you've got to block super quick to stop it from take a significant portion of your health down. Also, when he powers up his super beam cannon does TONS of damage, though it is easier to flash step out of the way. The main problem with this fight is that Stark's defensive is damn high. Even your Ignition attack takes barely half of his health away. Just keep chipping away his health and trying to dodge his attacks while using some combo's of your own to eventually wear him down. If you need health, there's several containers on the outskirts of the battlefield to grab as well. Once you've knocked him down to about 1/5th health a short cutscene will ensue and the battle is near the end. One Kageoni should take him out. Unlocked: Byakuya Kuchiki & Stark & Yoruichi Shihoin | Episode 11 & 12 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 11: Raging Beast (E11) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Here you'll be using the stoic Byakuya to fight Yammy. Byakuya is a curious fighter in that he doesn't actually use his "sword". Rather he is constantly in Shikai and uses his sword's petals to attack. It's good for breaking up groups of enemies, but not so much for one-on-one. Senbon Zakura Kageyoshi is a massively powerful AoE attack though and will pretty much 1-hit kill any- thing. Make your way through the various grunt enemies till you get to the only battle arena in this area. Here you'll face off against two Volcan Gigant whom self-destruct when you kill them, so watch out for that. Otherwise, they are about the same difficulty as their Gigant bretheren (read: not). Finish off that arena and head to the next area. Follow the path and you'll find another Volcan Gigant to kill and an arena full of basic and medium hollows. Have fun toying with them and pulling off some sweet combos. Finish the arena and follow to path to kill two more Vol- can Gigants before entering the next area to fight Yammy. So this is by far the dumbest boss fight in the game. Yammy is a static huge blob thing in the front of the battlefield and you have to hold your attack button to get Byakuya to send his flower petals out to attack him. Yammy only does huge attacks that are easily dodged, so it's a boring fight overall. Once you've knocked him down like 1/4 he'll fall to the ground for a few seconds, allowing you to do some extra damage and use your specials. But then he gets back up pretty quickly and you start the cycle over again. ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 12: Divine Power (E12) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ During this episode you'll be playing as the beautiful Yoruichi. She's super ridiculously quick and her standard combo attack takes down enemies in a flash as well as builds your slash meter like no other. Head a little ways down the street and you'll find yourself in an arena with a new hollow Arrancar Sondeo. You've seen weaker versions of these guys before, but you don't even need special attacks to defeat them. Use this arena and the enemies following to learn her attacks and develop your play style. Follow the path and you'll be in the next area shortly. The second area is simply a gambit of enemies follow by one battle arena with three Menos Grandes at the end. One of the easier areas, given how powerful Yoruichi is. Okay, so as it should be, the battle with Aizen is stupidly difficult. He blocks incessantly, he dodged my Ignition attack, and his combo attacks do about 1/4 of your health every single time. This was the first time I even came close and in fact died during the course of the game. So, fair warning go into the fight with some sort of strategy in mind. Basically, what I did was, back away from him till he lowers his shield, then rush in and combo. However, don't do the full combo as that second you stand still is ten seconds too many and Aizen will wreck you. Use Mosourenbu whenever your spirit pressure is done recharging and if you're lucky the last blast will knock Aizen away while you stand there. All in all it's not a tremendously difficult fight, but you def- initely can't rush in thinking it'll be a cake walk. Oh, and one last thing, whenever he gets to a sliver of health left, he'll powerup and use this abso- lutely nuts Ignition attack that hits everywhere on the battlefield and does insane amounts of damage. So make sure you have enough health to survive it. Unlocked: Episode 13 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 13: Awakening (E13) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Another boss fight only episode, it seems that NIS America decided that a dif- ficult curve that wasn't a 90 degree angle simply wasn't acceptable. Aizen may have been frustrating to some extent but Gin is just absurdly tough. He's nuts quick, his attacks are quick, they do amazing damage and you can't block them once he connects, he recovers quickly, basically the only thing that he lacks is good defense. Use this to your advantage and make use of any openings he leaves to get a combo in on him. When Gin powers up you need to back away asap because his attacks do even crazier amounts of damage. When you finally get your Ignition bar up, save it, because if you leave Gin with a little bit of health, he'll power up and unleash his final attack... which will kill you no matter where you are on the battlefield. The best advice I can give is to play VERY patiently and make sure he doesn't get any ridiculously good combos on you. Unlocked: Gin Ichimaru | Episode 14 ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Episode 14: To Protect (E14) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Okay, so on this final episode you'll be playing Ichigo's final form, which absolutely destroys any enemy it comes across. Literally, it just tears up everything in site. The grunt enemies fall like leaves in the wind and even the new named arrancar in the first arena in the first area "Frogbone" falls quickly before Emo Ichigo's might. So yeah, blaze through the first two areas with one arena a piece and head to the final show down. So this battle actually isn't all that bad. I thought I was going to get dom- inated when Aizen started time-phazing out of the way of my attacks, but it turned out to not be too terrible. The basic strategy is too use your Circle attack whenever he's using one of his special attacks. That way he can't dodge it and it does about 1/8th of his health each time. When he gets down to half health, he'll fly up onto this rock formation and begin door his ultimate attack. The battlefield will be split up into six pieces and there will be only one piece that'll act as the safe zone. After this Aizen will be signifi- cantly more powerful and have a bunch of super devestating special attacks. One of which is almost always guaranteed to hit you. Use Ignition mode now and use a few more special attacks to deal with him quickly. With him down watch the final cutscene and congratulations, you've beaten the story mode of this game! It was short, but now you can go back and S rank the episodes or beat them all on Very Hard for an extra challenge. Unlocked: Sosuke Aizen ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Mission Mode (MSM) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ (Taken directly from game manual) In this mode, you can use any of the 19 playable characters to achieve a number of objectives while under specific restrictions in each stage. Clearing missions will unlock more missions, as well as characters models in Collection Mode. (Not taken from game manual) So, at this point, if you've played through Story Mode completely before play- ing Mission Mode, you know the drill. Dumb enemies -> Arena -> Dumb Enemies -> New Area -> Repeat -> Boss. Unless you want a whole bunch of "follow the path" and "destroy the enemies in the arena" filled walls of text, I've decided that the easiest way to describe Mission Mode would just be to detail what you can find inside of each mission. That way there's no excess reading on your part, and no excess writing on mine. It's a win-win situation. ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 01\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M01) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete Class: * Areas: 2 Arenas: 1 Boss: Uryu Ishida Unlocked: Collection Uryu Ishida | Mission 04 & 05 ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 02\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M02) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete Class: * Areas: 2 Arenas: 1 Boss: Security Officer Jade x 3 Unlocked: Collection Ichigo (Bankai) | Mission 06 & 07 ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 03\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M03) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Time Limit: 8 minutes Class: * Areas: 3 Arenas: 1 Boss: Rudobon Unlocked: Collection Rudobon | Mission 08 & 09 ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 04\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M04) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete Class: ** Areas: 2 Arenas: 1 Boss: Grimmjow Unlocked: Collection Grimmjow ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 05\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M05) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Cannot Dash Class: ** Areas: 1 Arenas: 0 Boss: Kokuto Unlocked: Kokuto | Collection Kokuto ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 06\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M06) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Time Limit: 10 minutes Class: ** Areas: 2 Arenas: 2 Sub-Boss: Security Officer Jade x4 & Rukia Kuchiki Boss: Ichigo Kurosaki Unlocked: Collection Rukia Kuchiki ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 07\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M07) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat 100 Soul Reapers Class: ** Areas: 1 Arenas: 1 Boss: Kenpachi Zaraki Unlocked: Collection Kenpachi Zaraki ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 08\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M08) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Cannot use Ignition Gauge Class: ** Areas: 2 Arenas: 2 Boss: Yammy Unlocked: Collection Yammy ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 09\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M09) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete Class: ** Areas: 2 Arenas: 1 Mini-Boss: Rubodon Boss: Barragan Unlocked: Collection Barragan | Misson 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, & 15 ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 10\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M10) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Time Limit: 10 minutes Class: *** Areas: 2 Arenas: 2 Boss: Toshiro Hitsugaya & Halibel Unlocked: Collection Toshiro Hitsugaya ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ /////////////Mission 11\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ (M11) ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ ______ Battle Conditions: Defeat the boss to complete & Cannot Jump Class: *** Areas: 2 Arenas: 2 Boss: Shunsui Kyoraku & Stark Unlocked: Collection Shunsui Kyoraku | Soul Attack - Your score and clear time will be ranked against other play- ers. In order to properly save your scores, it is advised that you leave the Autosave features (see page 8) on. (Not taken from game manual) This mode is for those of you that want to test your mettle against other people around the world. There's three different versions: Soul Attack to see how many soul points you can gather in a set amount of areas; Time Attack to see how fast you can navigate through a mission without a mini-map; and lastly Beat Attack to see how many enemies you can defeat in a set amount of time. Both Soul and Beat Attacks are great for farming soul points to level up your characters to beat those last few Missions. SOUL ATTACK BEGINNER - Fight to gain the most Soul Points. Time Limit: 8 min. Areas: 3 SOUL ATTACK INTERMEDIATE - Fight to gain the most Soul Points. Time Limit: 9 min. Areas: 4 SOUL ATTACK ADVANCED - Fight to gain the most Soul Points. Time Limit: 15 min. Areas: 5 TIME ATTACK BEGINNER - Race the clock to the finish. Mini-map disabled. Areas: 4 TIME ATTACK INTERMEDIATE - Race the clock to the finish. Mini-map disabled. Areas: 4 TIME ATTACK ADVANCED - Race the clock to the finish. Mini-map disabled. Areas: 6 BEAT ATTACK BEGINNER - Fight to reach the highest total body count in 3 minutes. BEAT ATTACK INTERMEDIATE - Fight to reach the highest total body count in 3 minutes. BEAT ATTACK ADVANCED - Fight to reach the highest total body count in 10 minutes. ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Closing Comments (CLC) ============================================================================ ============================================================================ Though Bleach: Soul Resurrection was a short journey through the Story Mode, it only took me 3 hours to beat on Normal, it's Mission Mode is where it truly shines. If you're a fan of Bleach and a fan of the Dyntasy Warriors series then you'll more than likely enjoy this game and the endless amounts of grind- ing you get to do. Whether it's getting all the characters to max level or trying to get S rank on all the Story and Missions on Very Hard; this game has a TON of reply value and is definitely something you don't want to miss. ~Till next time, kliqIMB
