Thanx goes out to:
-MOE from WaveNet (aka SmellDiS1@aol.com), one of the best MK players I've
ever known. He's given me more then I could ever list.
-Me, because none of this would be possible otherwise.
-All Chicago-land WaveNet players. Home of the best MK players and hometown
 Chicago-style cheese.
-Nurgle58@aol.com for the infinite Rain combo.

If there is any thing that you would like to add, or something I have missed,
please email me at Shawnecyx@aol.com and you will recieve full credit for any
information you may supply.

There are a few things not contained in this FAQ:
The Ultimate Kombat Kode.
Baraka's morph with Shang Tsung.
Kombat Zone Kodes for: The Tomb, Living Forest, Hidden Portal, and Pit
Bottom.

A Note On All Juggle Combos
Juggle combos are any combo in which you hit the opponent a number of times
while they are in midair. Some characters are much easier to juggle than
others. All combos listed work best against the ninjas. Many difficult juggle
combos will not work so well on certain characters, and some won't work at
all against others. Characters like Sheeva, Kung Lao, and the Cyber-Ninjas
are very hard to juggle. This is due to the fact that when juggling them,
they keep their legs pointed up straight up. So when you juggle them, they
fall just as far as other characters, but they position themselves so that
more distance is between you and them.

A Note On Corner Only Combos
When an uppercut-combo is noted as being "Corner Only," the approprate
positions for both players is a distance from the corner in which the fighter
doing the combo is not pushed away when he uppercuts, but still close enough
to attack while the opponent is airborne in the corner. A good measure of
this distance is on The Wasteland. There are six thick lines on the ground
running perpendicualr-sorta to to the players. The ones that are of concern
are the two outtermost ones nearest the corners. When doing an uppercut combo,
you may not cross this line if you want to stay close to the opponent after
you perform the uppercut. Any Corner Only combos which do not knock the
opponent up in the air can be done all the way in the corner such as Cyrax's
74% Corner Only combo, or Scorpion's 39% Corner Only combo.

A Note On Midair Opponent Combos
When a combo is noted as being "Midair Opponent," it refers to your opponent
being midair for any reason. This may be a jump, but most often it refers to a
player being in midair after performing a move (i.e. Scorpion after you block
his Teleport). The first attack listed in the combo strikes the opponent in
midair. It's obvious that every character would have a multitude of these type
of combos, but I only list these combos for characters which may benefit
heavily from it due to midair moves or because of increased damage (i.e.
Kitana's Midair Opponent Combo is reduced heavily in percentage if it is
started off with her Fan Wave instead). I would assume that Stryker would also
be a very good contender for Midair Opponent Combos, but I'm so sick of using
him. Stryker's infinite combo works nowhere near as good as it did in the
arcade. I'm sure I might find a Midair Opponent Combo for him, but currently
I'm too lazy to try.

Baraka
Storyline: Baraka was sent to quell the uprising renegade race in Outworld's
lower regions. After his victorious battle, the nomadic warrior returns to
fight on the side of villainy. Under the guidance of Shao Kahn, Baraka will
once again pose a formidable threat to his Earthen counterparts.

Tournament Outcome: When Baraka's failure to apprehend several Earth warriors
nearly results in Shao Kahn's demise, the nomad finds himself fearing for his
own life. He falls out of favor with his Emperor, and realizes that it's only
a matter of time before Kahn enacts revenge. Baraka remains loyal until the
opposition from the Earth realm has been defeated. With Kahn in a weakened
state from his battle with Rayden, Baraka strikes. The despondent Emperor is
no match for Baraka's attack. Then, fearing reprisal from those loyal to
Kahn, Baraka escapes back into the nomadic ruins from which he came.

Cyrax
Storyline: Cyrax, Unit LK-4D4, is the second of three prototype cybernetic
ninjas built by the Lin Kuei. Like his counterparts, Cyrax's last programmed
command is to find and terminate the rogue ninja, Sub-Zero. Without a soul,
Cyrax goes undetected by Shao Kahn and remains a possible threat against his
occupation of Earth.

Tournament Outcome: Cyrax is captured by Sub-Zero and reprogrammed with new
orders: destroy Shao Kahn. With Kahn unable to detect the assassin's soulless
presence, Cyrax delivers a successful sneak attack, but after eliminating
Kahn and saving Earth, Cyrax awaits new orders from his Lin Kuei
Headquarters. The orders never come and Cyrax malfunctions. He ends up
stranded in the middle of a vast desert, blindly heading towards his base.

Ermac
Storyline: An enigma to all who come into contact with him. Ermac's past
remains shrouded in mystery. It's believed that he exists as a life force
brought together by the souls of the extinguished Outworld Warriors. Shao
Kahn has managed to take possession of these souls and use them to fight on
the side of tyranny. Tournament Outcome: When Kahn finally eliminates his
opposition, he finds a new and surprising foe in Ermac. The Outworld souls
that give life to the warrior did not trust their tyrannical leader who
planned to consume the powerful life force for his own power. Even Shao
Kahn's power was no match for the overwhelming strength of the legions of
deceased Outworld warriors. They destroyed their master in a battle that
devastated the entire realm. Ermac was left behind to rule it with his own
brand of oppression.

Khameleon
Storyline: Reptile was once thought to be the last member of an extinct race
of reptilian creature, until the appearance of Khameleon. She alone knows
the truth about their history and chooses to fight on the side of Earth,
making the last survivors of their race lethal enemies.

Tournament Outcome: Khameleon's former race were known as Raptors. They
evolved millions of years ago on Earth into intelligent creatures but fled
the realm when it was destroyed in a battle between the gods. They
repopulated a new realm known as Zaterra only to be driven to extinction by
Shao Kahn when they lost to Outworld in Mortal Kombat. With Shao Kahn near
victory against Earth, Khameleon contacts Reptile and shares the truth about
their race with him. This turns him against Kahn, allowing Khameleon to lead
a sneak attack against the Emperor. This last battle results in the end of
Shao Kahn and unification of Earth, giving Reptile and Khameleon the chance
to beget a new generation of Raptors. Khameleon randomly morphs between the
three female ninjas Jade, Kitana, and Mileena. Therefore, no moves will be
listed for her.

Kitana
Storyline: Kitana is accused of treason by the high ourts of the Outworld
after murdering her evil twin Mileena. Shao Kahn appoints a group of
warriors specifically to catch his daughter and bring her back alive. But
Kitana must find a way to reach the newly crowned Queen Sindel first and warn
her of their true past.

Tournament Outcome: Kitana evades the evil clutches of Shao Kahn and escapes
into the unknown regions of Earth. She survives an assassination attempt by
the vile creature Reptile, and allies herself with her one time comrade -
Jade. Together, with the help of Earth's warriors, Kitana reaches Sindel and
turns the queen against her Emperor. With Shao Kahn Defeated, the Earth is
changed back to its original state, as is Kitana's realm of Edenia. She will
be forever in debt to her friends from Earth as she rules the new realm of
Edenia at Queen Sindel's side.

Noob Saibot's Pit Fatality Combo
On a pit stage, when it says "Finish Him/Her," do Noob's Teleport Slam and
then before the opponent falls out of range, do his Pit Fatality.

Cyrax's Pit Fatality Glitch
On a pit stage, when it says "Finish Him/Her," throw the opponent first, and
rapidly do Cyrax's Pit Fatality before they fall out of range. If done
correctly, Cyrax should miss the opponent and go into his winning stance. Use
Shang Tsung and morph into him first for a nice little glitch.

Human Smoke's Fatality Glitch
Make sure your opponent is in the corner when it says "Finish Him/Her." Do
Human Smoke's teleporting head punch fatality (Run, BK, Run, Run, HK). When
he teleports, he will completely miss the opponent.

Pit Stage Fatality Glitch
On the Pit 1 stage, uppercut your opponent off for a fatality. While they are
in the air, you can still perform all of your special moves. You can hit your
opponent with any special moves. Try different characters and moves and see
what happens.

Play through the game with Motaro Glitch
Start a two player game. Do a boss code with Player 1. Beat Player 2 in the
first round. Before the 2nd round starts, do the same boss code again. Beat
player one again. Let time run out for Player 2 to continue. Choose your
destiny, and you should already have a boss selected.
NOTE: DON'T CHOOSE OUTCOME ONCE YOU BEAT THE GAME WITH MOTARO OR THE GAME
WILL FREEZE UP!

The Treasures of Shao Kahn
After beating the game, you will be allowed to pick one treasure from two
rows of symbols. The difficulty setting and whether you did the endurance
ladder code will determine how many you will be allowed to choose from.
Trilogy Secrets requires that you have it on Very Hard and you must go
through the longest endurance ladder.
