     INTRODUCTION

The Syndicate series has been rebooted. Some of you all may have remembered a
game called Syndicate that came out on MS-DOS and got ported or revamped onto
other platforms and a sequel was made for it called Syndicate Wars by Bullfrog
Productions which was published by Electronic Arts. The reboot was developed by
Starbreeze Studios and yet another game that Australians will miss out on due to
the censorship. I'm not Australian but censorship sucks.

         STORY

In Syndicate, you play as Miles Kilo, a one-man army caught in the midst of a
global corporate struggle for power and influence. Surrounded by corruption and
deceit, all you hace to rely on are your wits and the cutting-edge DART6 biochop
technology implanted in your brain.

Armed with the most advanced weaponry of the digital age, you can slow down time
breach the digital world around you, and bring down enemies with sophisticated
hacking abilites. Let nothing stand in your way of uncovering the truth.

      WALKTHROUGH

Note: This is for single-player walkthrough only. You're on your own for the
co-op. This walkthrough does not cover getting every business card for the info
bank but I'll make a separate section for a later date. Samw with the propaganda
that I didn't bother looking for the first time I played the game through. For
those, they highlight a sentence on certain places when in DART move. The one
on the last level says you are Miles Kilo but I found that out by accident when
I hit the DART overlay button before entering the door at the beginning.

--Milestone 0: Breaking Free (That's what I named this part)--

When you are awakend by punches. Press the Dart Overlay or Melee Attack button
to punch back. Press the Reload button rapidly to break free. Run through the
building till you have to Jump over a table. Run to the door and mash on the
Reload button to pry it open. USe the Breach button to hack into the air gun's
systems and make it crash. Crouch and go left to walk under the rubble and then
Breach two more air guns and then hold the Sprint button while moving to burst
through the door and you will fall on top of a guard killing him. You will get
his gun by holding the Reload button.

--Milestone 1: Wakeup--

Hold the Reload button to break the lock then head outside. Go left and run up
to the guy laying on the floor. You have the option to execute him or not. Go in
the door to the right and pick up a holographic item which is a personal log of
Bobby Dalton, go outside and through the double doors. You are told to reroute
the power. Go up the ladder straight ahead a little to the right. Once up there,
go up the stairs and shoot two guards and turn the power back on. Now its time
to escape from Downzone. Go back down the ladder and use the boxes for cover.
The Dart Overlay will reveal the enemy position. Kill all three and head inside
the dock and go down the steps and enter a door. As you move foward, shots ring
out and people duck for cover. There are four enemies to take out including two
with a laser rifle. Go through the door to the left of where the one in the very
back was. Go downstairs and kill two more enemies.

Run to the other set of stairs and go up. Gunshots ring out. Press down on the
D-pad to switch fire mode to shoot through light cover but it didn't work well
for me. One enemy will try to be slick and catch you from an empty room. Kill
him and use that room to recover as you shoot your way upwards. Kill the last
three guards from afar using the Overlay then at the top. Kill the guard that's
immediately inside. Bust through the door by Sprinting. A copter similar to the
ones from Terminator appears. Press the Reload button to bust through the roof.
Walk to the group here and press the Reload button to sit down. You meet Merit
here. Once you get out the chair, follow him into the elevator. You get a lesson
on the Suicide application. This causes the enemy to commit suicide and kill any
other enemy nearby in the process.

--Milestone 2: Assault on Aspari--

Get out the dropship and cross the bridge and follow Merit inside. Merit will
kill two guards. Go left and get the Francis Yeung personal log. Go to the door
and Breach it then enter. Use Suicide on the guard that is on the other side of
the glass to make him kill the other guard then himself. His death will break
the glass. Go through the hole and get out the room and go up several stairs.
You will eventually end up in a room with two data transfers. Use the Reload
button to activate them. Continue downstairs and enter the door and use Suicide
to kill most of the guards here and shoot whoever survived dead. Go into the red
room inside the door of the current room. At the end, turn right and break the
hatch and crawl through the hole. Go up the ladder and run and jump down the
left side for a holographic figure containing the Sarah Seeward personal log.
From there hop on the platform just ahead and go right and crawl through the
vent shaft. Break out of it and approach Chang. He will be shot dead. Extract
the chip and leave. Run back through the door you couldn't access earlier and
kill the guards here. Then Breach the ceiling gun to shoot the other guards and
take out any survivors.

Run into the lab where the doctor is testing a gun called the Gauss. You have
the option of executing him but he gives up the gun and begs for his life. Go
out the room and use the Data Transfer on info about Mao-Murdoch. A security
lockdown happens. Breach the panel to make a laser freeze the glass. Shoot the
glass to break it. Shoot the lock on the other side of the glass down below as
you jump then shoot the lock on the big door ahead and go through it. Come out
through the other door and the enemy will shoot a grenade at you. Use a suicide
to take care of some and kill the survivors. The Gauss is good for homing shots
as long as the enemy is not behind cover. Go down the hallway and soon you will
be outside. Kill the guard there while he is distracted then go forward and use
the Gauss to kill the ship after you Breach its shield. Kill two more ships and
the other guards and as you proceed, the big copter will crash. Mash the Reload
button to climb back up. Go into the next room and slide down the elevator shaft
and this milestone is over. You learn the backfire app.

--Milestone 3: Aspari Extraction--

Use a sprinting jump to reach the side across from you. It's a tough one to make
but once across, jump onto the pipes and move towards the elevator. Breach the
upper point to bring the elevator to you and then cross it to a hatch that you
break and drop down to the next level. A guard will shoot at you from the spot
you once stood. Use a Suicide to take him out (more like he'll take himself out)
There are more guards on the lower floor to kill. Use the DART Overlay to spot
them and shoot them. Lower the elevator to your level and beware of a guard with
a deadly machine gun. Try to find cover before taking him out. You'll see them
coming down a rope. Shoot them to make them fall to their deaths then break down
to the next floor and when you clear everyone out, open the hatch. Go through
the crawlspace. If it doesn't look like high enough jump to clear, raise the
elevator to clear it out of your way. Once you drop down to the next spot, you
face a guard with a shield. If you managed to have a sniper rifle handy, you can
aim around it and kill him in one shot. Otherwise, it'll take a lot to take him
down.

Use the elevator for cover and kill three saucers. Once they are breached, the
sniper rifle will one-shot kill them too. Kill one more guard before entering an
open gate. Drop down onto the lower level and go on the grating then lower the
elevator and completed the objective. The new objective is to meet Merit at the
train station. Cross the first elevator and lower the next one to cross it and
enter the boiler room. Avoid the steam as it causes damage. Go through the next
door and take out the man that fires upon you. Go through the next door and get
in the elevator. Once at the bottom, kill every enemy you can by any means you
can. Go to the marked door to lure out more guards including one with a shield.
Clear them out and go through the marked door. Go upstairs. Kill all the guards
in this room and go downstairs into the hallway to end the level.

--Milestone 4: A Train to Catch--

Pry the door open and kill the two guards inside. Make your way downstairs and
kill all the guards in this room including two upstairs. Once they are all dead,
go into the next room and down a flight of stairs and enter the room ahead and
Merit is there. The two of you shoot at the guards coming in. You'll be using a
lot of backfire and suicides when the opportunity strikes. When the last of them
fall, the train arrives. Merit tries to open the train but Agent Tatsuo comes
and knocks him out. Pry open the door and the agent will kick you in the gut and
knock you down. The agent uses a Gauss to fight. Take cover behind glass while
you shoot at him. He has the ability to teleport so stay on your toes. There is
a gauge on the upper right called the Trauma status. This is his health. When it
is at half, he sends other guards at you. Take them down then fight Agent Tatsuo
again. He no longer uses the Gauss. That's the good news. The bad new is that he
has clones. The clones will when shot. Continue looking for the real one n' take
him down to Immune Status. Use the Dart Overlay to find the real one and Breach
him to win.  When he is dead, extract his chip then pry the doors open once more
and use the Breach on the control system after meeting up with Merit to end the
level. Along the way, Merit murders everyone on board.

--Milestone 5: Escape from LA--

Make your way to back of the station and kill four agents. Kill more enemies in
the next area and pry the door open to get the Minigun. One thing good about it
is that it has infinite ammo. Go upstairs and deactivate the controls then head
for the lift. Activate and shoot down every agent you see as they will be coming
out blasting. Now you fight a bunch of gunners. Breach the vents to lift them
then Breach the gunners while using the vents for cover. Your goal is to defeat
them all and get to the front of the train. You now face a dropship. The best
way to fight it is to duck into the pit in front of the train and wait for it to
take to the sky before coming out to fire at it. Keep shooting at it till the
ship drops missiles. Breach the ones closest to you to destroy them and stay
away from the others. Repeat this pattern until the dropship is completely out
of energy and the level over. Expected a long tough fight didn't ya. Of course,
there are gunners to contend with but ducking in the pit will take them out of
the equation.

--Milestone 6: Eurocorp--

There are no enemies to fight here, collect a few things before meeting up with
Jack. Merit is undergoing chip repair and has a slight seizure. Hold him down
while Lily injects him. After he comes to, collect a few more data transfers and
you learn the Persuade app. Complete the training then exit.

--Milestone 7: Voyeur Central--

After you exit the dropship go inside and down a couple flights of stairs. The
marker to meet Merit will show up so go through several doors till you are in
a room where you can Breach the doors open. Merit will wait for you with a set
of binoculars that you use to watch Lily walking around. She'll be nabbed by
a bunch of kidnappers. Merit fires a zipline which you use to zip inside and
kill an enemy in the process. Merit kills the other two in the room. There is
no need to worry about the fighting below, worry about what's going on above and
pick up a powerful gun. The Persuade app comes in handy here when you use it on
the guy with a rapid fire gun. After they are dead, a new enemy arrives with a
Shotgun. Breach him then shoot him to cause damage. Breach him anytime he is
immune. At least he has a health meter. If you manage to take the orange part
down to white, he can't go immune anymore. Use this time to finish him off.
Kill a few more enemies up the stairs including another super agent. It's best
to retreat to have some breathing space. Once all enemies are dealt with take
out two more of them then as you proceed down the path, and explosion knocks you
back and you have to dash through the wall. Go downstairs and through a set of
doors and the level will end there.

--Milestone 8: Cayman Global--

Proceed through the doors and Lily's kidnapper escapes with her. Kill all the
enemies in this area but watch out for grenades. If you need some breathing room
then retreat to the previous room. The enemies will not follow you inside. There
is a super agent among the group. Take him out after you deal with the others.
Run through diner and make a left and a quick right. Deal with some enemies that
do come through the doors first then take out the snipers hiding in the back.
Once done, go into the room in the far right and kill the sniper up the stairs
and overide the elevaor to kill the other one. Go up the stairs and go through
the door and kill the next two inside. Once you exit the room, prepare to fight
some super agents and regular ones. Retreating to the next room won't work here.
The door you left with stay shut and the one you open stays open. Some agents
have miniguns. You remember those don't you from Milestone 5 don't you? Shit
really hits the fan when the big super agent comes out but he is as vulernable
as his lesser cronies but he has two levels of bars to take down. Take out the
smaller ones here then deal with him as they lack the armor. Against the big
one, take his meter down to zero twice. The third time he is immune, just Breach
him and he will die. The minigun is yours and now it's time to raise hell.

Go to the Art Center and override the tank to freeze the glass and shoot it to
smithereens. Take the elevator up and kill the enemies that emerge and go down
the stairs to kill more. Continue this onslaught until they are all dead. The
level ends when you ride the dropship. Armor is no match for the minigun so no
need to Breach.

--Milestone 9: The Floating City--

Override the blast shield then get off the dropship and extract the chip from
a guy not paying attention. Breach the computer then go up the steps and do a
data transfer. Run through a series of doors and enter the elevator. You will
be scanned and your identity is invalid. Toxic gas fills the room. Break the
silver panel to end the security lockdown and save your life.

--Milestone 10: Behind the Scenes--

You are unarmed at the start so use a melee attack to kill the enemy that comes
nearby the elevator then kill the other enemy far back with the pistol you got
from him. Get that enemy's rifle and get the hologram behind you. Go downstairs
and kill two more enemies on the right and one ahead of you. As you approach the
back, more enemies arrive. Use Persuade on one of them and retreat to the stairs
that you came from at the start and use that as a vantage point. When the last
one dies, a bigger one arrives. He carries a missile launcher but fortunately,
it don't do as major damage to you as you'd expect. Stay on the move as you beat
him just like the one you fought with the minigun and the missile launcher is
yours for the taking. Use the missile launcher to blast through locked doors. Go
through the first set of locked doors using it then get the data transfer and
news item behind the counter. Go in the door and downstairs. There's a hologram
file in the room nearby. Get it and the data transfer behind you. Go upstairs
and pick up/refill your missile launcher and go right. Breach the three saucers
and shoot one missile to kill all three. You earn a trophy/AP called Gaggle of
Guidance. More will come out. Find cover and take them all out then try to rush
to the top and kill the two guards up there. Saucers will come in to replace the
ones destroyed so rush to the inside and kill the guard inside and go to his
seat and activate the control panel to disable the saucers.

Place the Swarm Missile Launcher in the hatch to proceed. Do a data transfer and
go downstairs and go under for another data transfer. Reload your Kusanagi Rifle
at the kiosk and go outside. Go upstairs and head straight for the room and open
the hangar doors. Use the "Keep Clear" hatch as cover. Kill the enemies here by
disarming their grenades and throwing it back at them. Hold the Weapon Switch
button to switch to Grenades and press the Fire button to throw it. Once they
are out the way, go upstairs and kill the enemy coming out of the room. Go in
and open the hangar door. Three enemies arrive. They have jamming to prevent you
from using apps. Ignore the one with the super armor and kill the other two as
they don't have it themselves. In fact, killing the other two stops the jamming
so you can Breach the super agent. Once they are dead, head into the hangar and
there is a jet there. Raise two hangar doors and it'll be the same fight as you
did earlier with more soldiers to kill and some saucers. The best way to lure
them out in the open is to retreat to the back and they come to you. Run back to
them and kill whoever was foolish enough to do so. When they are dead, run to
the back and break the grating and enter the vent shaft. Kill the saucer that's
inside and drop down at the end. Let the landing finish. Kill the three enemies
ahead after the door opens. Breach the landing strip to bring it to you and get
on it and take it to the other side. Breach the controls to unlock the outer
elevator door then take on some enemies including a super agent and a jammer.
Once they are gone, enter the elevator to end the level.

--Milestone 11: Ramon--

Once out the elevator, kill two enemies to the left and go inside the door. Go
down several flights of stiars. At the bottom, get the hologram then break the
light on the floor then open the right door and use the data transfer and ignore
open the left door. Open the door near wear the light was broken and go down the
ladder and end up in a shaft. Get the hologram at the end and break the metal
grating and drop down. Run down the catwalk and wait for the doors to open at
the end to fight Ramon. He is the one who carried Lily off. He shoots rockets so
breach them to send them back in his direction. He is capable of Breaching the
rockets himself. When a green laser shines, use DART overlay and breach all the
rockets to return them to sender, address unknown, no such number, no such zone.
Thank you very much!

Occasionally, he will break out his machine gun. Get to some cover. He will also
send rockets that jam your breaching. Finish him off by breaking the device on
the upper balcony above the cover where he shoots at you from. He will fall. Go
to extract his chip and he fights you off and beats you nearly to death before
Lily shoots him dead. Follow Lily into the ship as the two of you escape.

--Milestone 12: Downzone--

Wait for Lily to open the door to the docking bay then go inside. Break through
the gratings on the floor and then head inside the tunnel and break through the
hatch. Go right and climb the ladder and go through the door to your left. Go up
the stairs and enter the control room. Breach the switch to turn it on and get
out. Break the lock on the fence and go through it.  Go between the shelves on
the right and go upstairs. Activate the controls and then make your way onto the
catwalk by jumping on the rail then a sprint jump onto the shelf. Jump to the
other shelf onto the loose rail of catwalk then Make a sprinting jump over the
pit and use Breach the controls to bring the catwalk to you. Get on the rail
and do a sprinting jump over that gap.

Go inside the door and go upstairs. Run down the catwalk and down two flights of
stairs and break the door lock. Move forward and go up the stairs when you can't
go any further. Ignore the people in this area. They are no threat though one
guy is oogling some ladies who are just holograms. Go inside the door where you
see a lot of lights. Head for the stairs and go up then pry the doors open at
the top. Run down the catwalk and Timberrrrrrrrr.

--Milestone 13: Betrayed--

Press the Reload button rapidly to get off the floor. An enemy will come out
of the grate. Kill him with a close range melee attack to get his gun which
has you have unknown ammo but you have to reload. You are in jammed mode so the
apps won't be able to help you neither will DART Overlay. Watch out for the
sniper above and the incindiary grenades. You can shoot those too by pressing
down on the D-pad with the machine gun equipped. Deal with the enemies here and
take out the ones in the back including one that came out the hatch. Pry open
the door and soon the systems are back on board. Go inside the door at the end
and fight the enemies. Breach the steam valve to stun them a little bit. It's
the same as using Backfire in a sense they take extra damage when shot during
their stun. Speaking of Backfire, that is the only app that works at this point
as the others won't fill up. Head to the elevator after killing everyone and
kill more enemies. Go into the elevator and use it to go down. The computer
suspects Lily is behind the setup. The elevator stalls so you have to pry open
the roof door and jump to the vent shafts and go up a ladder. Kill two snipers
at the top.

Break the lock and go up the next vent shaft. Leap over the gap and enter the
tunnel and go right at the dead end and sprint through the debris. Shoot the
barrel to make it explode and thus kill the two enemies painfully. Kill the
enemies as they flood in. Turn on both power switches and go into the fence
that opens and open a 3rd switch to lower a roof. It won't crush you. Open the
hatch above you and the snipers can't hit you if you stay in the back as you
ride the elevator up to the top then kill more enemies when up there. Turn on
the power here, kill more enemies and take the elevator all the way up. From
there, open the grating above and be prepared for another firefight. They now
throw flash grenades too. Once everyone is dead, enter the elevator and this
level is over.

--Milestone 14: The Wall--

Pry open the elevator doors and you will see a hole in the floor. Drop into it
and go the doors ahead. Turn on the generator and go the system operations and
breach it. Go to the guy sitting in the chair to get his chip and go through the
door to the far left. Drop into another hole and go inside the door and down the
steps. An enemy ambushes you then vanishes. Breach the mines on the floor to
disarm them as you go. Don't lolligag because they will reactivate shortly. So
once they are disarmed, run past them. Drop through the hole in the floor, head
through the door and turn left down the stairs. After you head through the next
door, you’ll be attacked by an enemy that will suddenly disappear. During your
travels you will find two enemies on the catwalk above. It's hard to see without
the overlay but there is an explosive tank that can help you here. Continue into
the next area and kill more enemies and disable more mines. Get the EMP Grenades
to disable the enemies' cloaking ability. Pry open the door at the end and go
past the fence and kill the guy using the flamethrower. This is your ticket to
great destruction. Just defeat everyone on the way to a tank. Blast the tank
from a safe distance and go through the hole in it and inside the door. Now just
burn your way towards a crawlspace and go inside. The only exception here is to
use your guns on the two enemies on the catwalk.

--Milestone 15: Kris--

Kick the vent down and jump down and kill the enemies. You will be using a train
car to protect you from the mounted gun bullets. Continually restart it to make
it move. Go into the room up the stairs and get the hologram. Kill the two guys
downstairs then go down the steps and try to kill the snipers on the catwalk in
the far distance using DART and Backfire then stay in the back and run under the
stairs and dash to the end. Turn right and dash into the room and turn off the
power that jams the gun. Breach it then kill the enemies downstairs then head up
the stairs into the room and pry the door open. Go up the stairs and into a room
and breach the computer. Enter the new room and you will see a conversation that
takes place between Lily and Kris (whose wanted poster you saw before). Do some
data transfers and collect a hologram. Enter the elevator and when it stops, pry
the doors open and it time to face off against Kris. It's still easy to kill
Kris without using DART Overlay or EMP grenades. Just keep an eye on where he
is shooting from then shoot in that direction. When he is halfway dead, he will
sneak attack you with an EMP and start beating you down. Breach his gun to stop
him from killing you then he retreats. Now he'll throw grenades which you can
disarm. Keep an eye on where he is and when he is dead, get away from him as he
will go BOOM! Get his chip and go into the elevaotor and once you get out, go up
the ladder and Lily knocks you down. Disarm her then you have the option to kill
her or not. If you try to shoot her, she'll use Backfire on you and will try to
get away but she gets captured.

An extra note during the Kris fight, you will have to discharge some of the EMP
Grenades on the floor but after he is down to half health you don't have to
worry about that anymore. Another note is that you lose your 2nd gun during the
2nd half of the fight so only the revolver will work on him during this part of
the fight.

--Milestone 16: Human Resources--

You will see a flashback of how your family got murdered. Mash the Reload button
to get out the chair and knock out the guy there. Leave the room and go inside
the security lockdown door and Breach the camera. Merit will interrogate Lily.
Head to her cell and free her. She will restore your systems. Follow her outside
to go to the next level.

--Milestone 17: Corporate War--

Once the two of you board the elevator, a war in the corporation takes place as
you will see something crash into the elevator glass. After you two get off, you
will see a lot of bloodshed. Pick up whatever weapon you want to choose from the
dead bodies laying around and go upstairs. Kill the four enemies that appear to
fight you (prior to that, the ones you see will ignore you as they fight each
other). Defeat them then take on four super agents including one with a jammer.
One is also armed with a laser gun. Go through the glass door and use the pillar
for cover against a huge wave of enemies coming at you. Take them all out then
head to the doors ahead and take out a saucer and two guards. Another wave of
enemies arrive. If you got grenades, now is the time to use them. Go inside the
door with a light that flashes outside of it and Breach the controls to activate
the area in the middle. Breach the ceiling guns when they come out and destroy
two saucers. If you got the Revolver from one of the enemies earlier, that is
powerful enough to destroy them. Once you talk to Lily, go into the hatch behind
you and run along the pipes. Go in the door ahead and turn the lever that's on
the wall to end the level.

--Milestone 18: Spire Access--

Go up one flight of stairs and then before reaching the top of the 2nd flight,
Breach four generators to raise a lift. Now to do this you must Breach them in
order. The first one will be on the beams itself. Thus the only part at the top
you can Breach, follow the light trail to breach the next 3 spots in order to
the trail. Look up and Breach the lift from underneath to lower ir then get on
it to activate it and go up. Go into what must be the cold room and sneak up on
the guy at the controls and execute him. Go upstairs and turn away from the door
and get on the vent and Breach the generator then breach the one below next to
the door and then follow the light trail to breach a third generator to make the
platform come out temporarily to get to the other side. Run to the next wall and
breach the 2nd and 3rd generators to reform the platforms and crawl into the
vent. Break the grating and kill the enemies. You can get cover by Breaching
the circle in front of you. There are four to kill total. You face off against
Agent Crane. He is armed with a Gauss. It's best to take out his lackeys first
but with the revolver, he falls easily in 5 shots in DART mode. Go into DART
overlay mode and bum rush him with the Revolver. Beware that he can recover his
health. Killing him first the "Make them Watch" prize.

Get Crane's chip after the others are dead if you haven't killed them yet then
Breach the device in the middle to override it and go into the new room for a
data transfer. Breach the power to open the door and go up the stairs to fight
some enemies including a super one with a laser. Once all enemies are dead, go
up several flights of stairs and climb the ladder. Move forward and kill several
more enemies and saucers. Once clear, head to the back right and use Breach on
the bridge to extend it out and head to the back. Breach the hatch to open it
and drop down.

--Milestone 19: Burning Tower--

Go downstairs and head left and go up the next few flights of stairs. Go in the
door and Breach the ceiling guns and let the enemies kill themselves off. Breach
the controls on the wall next to the door to lower the barriers. Go inside the
door on the right and head left into another room. You'll be in a room that has
bulletproof glass. Get the hologram and drop into the hatch. Run to the door and
pry it open. Override the turrets and kill whoever attacks you including 2 super
agents and a jammer. When the battle is over, you have a few seconds before more
rush in. Kill them and more come in from the elevators. The wave after this will
have saucers and shielded guards. Once they are dead, go in the center elevator
after you kill the last two saucers. I thought that would never end. Once out of
the elevator. Kill only those who antagonize you as you follow the normal path.
Go up a flight of stairs then into a door then another flight of stairs. Breach
the door to override it and do a couple data transfers and activate the
controls.
Jump over the rail and go up the escalator. Kill some enemies and move to one of
the drones. Breach it and it will aid you in battle. Move along the path killing
the enemies as you go but watch for the super agents including one armed with a
laser and one with a Gauss. Go upstairs and fend off more enemies and go up more
stairs and do the same. Here you kill two saucers and a super agent armed with a
laser and now just Breach the lock on both sides quickly and go inside. You got
to be very quick on the draw for this.

--Milestone 20: Jack Denham--

This is it, the final level. Merit and the knock you down. Get up and take cover
behind the glass. Merit is on top and has no immunity so take him down first. He
will be back but in the meantime, take out his two lackeys. When they're health
is at zero, execute them before the regeneration process begins. Once they are
dead, it's you vs Merit. He can kill you during DART Overlay mode which is rare.
Be sure to start raising the platforms at the start of the battle as Merit will
come out blasting with his minigun. He has 4 levels of immunity for breaching.
The TAR-39 is a good weapon to use here. Merit fights cheap. He will send lots
of grenades at you all at once and they do massive damage. Once you do enough
damage to him, he'll ditch the minigun and use the shotgun instead. Immediately
after you breach him the 4th time, he will fall to his knees. You two will have
a tussle. Press the Reload button rapidly to win this fight. Get out of the hole
and go back up the elevator and run down the hall to confront Jack Denham. He'll
disconnect your systems but you can press the Reload button rapidly to reboot.
Jack jumps to his death and the game is over. This game was tough.
