Through The Whole Game - Guide for Pokemon Silver

Pokemon Gold and Silver Walkthrough 

When you first start the game you are asleep . When you put the time in professor 
oak will give you a speech . When he gets done would his speech . You'll be in 
your 
room go down stairs . Then your mom will ask you what day it is and then she will 
give you your poke gear . Then go outside and head to the left of your house You 
will see a biuld to the west of your house its elms lab . Go inside and go up you 
will beable to pick out your pokemon from here. Once you have pick you first 
pokemon 
go out before you leave elms asitance will give you a potion . when you get out 
side 
head west to cherrygrove . On the way there if you need to heal go to the machine 
next to elm . When you get to cherry grove talk to guy in the entrance by a 
tree . 
He will give you a short tour if you say yes . After you get done would the tour 
He 
will give you a map card . So you can use your map in your poke gear . Now go to 
the 
poke center to heal . When you get out of the poke center go west and head north 
when you see an opening . when you get all the way up you should find mr. 
pokemon's 
house . Go inside if your in the right house mr pokemon will give you a mystery 
egg . Then professor oak will give you a pokedex ( the updated one ) . When you 
get 
out of mr. pokemon's house go to the poke center back in Cherry grove and heal 
your 
pokemon because just as you go to new bark town(where your house is) your rival 
will 
batttle you. When you beat your rival head to Elm's lab and talk to him. But 
before 
you talk to him there will be a cop. He'll ask you if you saw a person with 
orange 
hair because he stold one of Elm's pokemon. He'll ask for his name, put any old 
name 
there. That person that you named will become your rival. When you talk to Elm 
finally he will take the egg and say you should take the gym challenge. On your 
way 
out of his lab one of his assistants will give you five pokeballs. When you get 
outside go to your house and talk to your mom. She will ask if you want her to 
save 
up your money, say yes if you want her to buy you stuff like dolls. Then head 
back 
to Cherry grove and go north again but this time take a left when you git above 
the 
guys house where you can get a berry, this is where you strat battling trainers. 
When you strat to head north a trainer named Joey will battle you . Talk to him 
after you beat him . He will give you his phone number .The next trainer is 
micky . 
The next person you battle is Don . When you get to a dead end goto the right and 
then up. When you get the guy by the bitter berry tree go down where you will 
battle 
a trainer named Wage. After you beat Wage talk to him to get his number . Now 
keep 
heading west then north to get to violet city . Once in violet city go to the 
poke 
center to heal your pokemon . Then go north to get to bellsprout tower . When you 
get to bellsprout tower head to the top to get Hmo5 ( flash ) from sage . Once 
you 
beat sage go to the right a escape rope will be there . Use the escape rope to 
get 
out of the tower . When you get out heal your pokemon . Then go to the gym . ( 
left 
from the path where bellsprout tower is . ) Beat the gym leader he will give you 
a 
zephybadge . Now go to the poke center to get a mystery egg back from one of elms 
asitance .Now that you have got every thing you can get in violet city go west 
from 
the poke center then north to take route 36 to the next town . Go down when you 
get 
to a shaking tree . Then go through the gaurd house . Now go south to the next 
gaurd 
house go through that one to . Head south once more . When you see a guy well 
heading south talk to him he will give you a miracle seed . Keep heading south 
into 
you run into a trainer named albert . Now head south of him and you will see a 
trainer standing against the rocks . Press A on her and battle her . Then head 
some 
more into you see a passage to the right take it . Go down and beat all the 
fishers . Then beat all the rest of the trainers in this area and head south . 
Your 
mom should call you pretty soon ( if you ask her to save your money ) . Once you 
get 
to a poke center in the south go inside and heal your pokemon and talk to the guy 
wearing a hat . He will give you an old rod . Now go in the cave below the poke 
center . Find your way out to route 23. Go to the west to battle a trainer named 
anthony . Keep heading west to get to Azalea town . First go to the poke center 
and 
heal . Then go to the north west to get to a small biulding . When you are inside 
go 
strait ahead and talk to him . . He will run out side . Now go out side head to 
where you first came in this town . On the way there you will see a cave like 
biulding that a rocket was gaurding earlier . Go inside and beat all the the 
rockets . Once you have beaten all the rockets kurt will come and bring you to 
his 
house and give you a lure ball . Now kurt will make you all sorts of poke balls 
just 
bring him apicorns . Now heal and go south of kurts house to get to the next 
gym . 
Go inside and beat the gym leader . Once you beat the gym leader he will give you 
a 
hivebadge . Now go to the poke center and heal . Now go to the gaurd house in the 
west . On your way your rival will battle you . Once you beat him go to the poke 
center and heal . Then go through the gaurd house in the west on your way and 
into 
Ilex forest . When in I lex forest press A on the farfech'd and try to get it 
back 
to it's owner to get Hm01 (cut) . Now catch a pokemon that can learn cut and cut 
down the tree and find your way out of the forest after you found the guy would 
Tmo2. Once out of the forest you should run into a trainer named Jamuel . Your 
mystery egg should hatch pretty soon .Then start heading up and you should battle 
a 
trainer named Brandon . Then go through the grass on your left to battle a 
trainer 
named Gina . Then go up and east to battle a trainer named Ian . Then go west and 
up 
to battle a trainer named Todd . Talk to him after to get his number . Now go up 
and 
you should be in Goldenrod and heal . Then go to the big Mart next to the poke 
center and go to the 5th floor and talk to the girl who is standing against the 
wall 
to get mystery gift . Then go outside and go to the gym in the north and beat the 
gym leader . You can' t get the badge into the girl who says she always crys when 
she loses . Then go back and talk to the gym leader to get the badge to get a 
Plain 
Badge . Now go to the poke center and heal and remember when your egg hatches 
call 
elm . Now go to the radio tower in the north west . When you get inside go to the 
second person on the right . For the lucky numbers show and then the third for a

5.no . Now you can use the radio anytime . Now go east under the gym and up into 
a 
small house press A on the girl strait ahead to get the squirtbottle . Now go

of this town and through the gaurd house . Then go up and you should battle a 
trainer named kim . Then go north some more where you battle a trainer named 
Elliot . Then west a little more to battle his girl freind . Now go back to 
goldenrod and above the big mart store and then down to get to the bike shop . Go 
in 
and talk to the guy to get your bike . Now go north once more to here you 
were .You 
will now battle a trainer Ivan . Then north where you will battle two more 
trainers . Once you beat them go in the gaurd house this is where the bug 
catching 
cotest is held on tuesday , thursday and, Saturday . Go through the gaurd house 
and 
beat all of the trainers then go out through the gaurd house on the eastern 
side . 
When you get through head south where you will battle a trainer named Mark . Then 
head east there you will battle a trainer named Allen . Then go north Then go 
north 
you will see a shaking use the squirtbottle on it . The tree will turn into a 
pokemon deafeat it or catch it . Once past the tree head north west. Where you 
will 
battle a trainer named Ann and Anne and then head north some more and you will be 
in 
Ecruteak City . When you get there heal your pokemon at a poke center .Now head 
to 
the gym you have to go right into your one space ahead of the guy that is up . 
Now 
go up and stop in front of the guy and battle him then go left into you are one 
space ahead of the next guy above now go up to him and battle him . Now go right 
into your in front of the next guy and then right into your in front of the next 
guy 
and go up and battle him . Now go strait up and the gym leader should be there . 
Battle him . Once you beat the gym leader . He will give you a fog badge . Then 
head 
north of the poke center and go into the small biulding beat all the kimo girls 
and 
then go to the guy standing below he will give you a Hmo3 (surf) Now go heal. 
Then 
go south of this town into you see a two way intersection . Would one route going 
east and one going south . Go east and talk to the guy strait ahead he will give 
you 
tmo8 (rock smash) . Now head back to ecruteak city and go through the western 
gaurd 
house gate . Then head south into you get to olvine. When you get to Olvine go to 
the poke center and heal .Then go into the biulding in the west of it and go to 
the 
guy sitting down he will give you Hmo4 (strengh). Now catch a pokemon that can 
learn 
surf and then go to the big biulding in the east and climb to the top When you 
get 
to the top talk to jasime . note in order to get to jasime you have to fall 
through 
one of the black holes toward the top so dont go all the way to the top . Once 
you 
talk to her . Get out of the light house and and surf across the ocean to get to 
Cianwood city . Heal your pokemon at the poke center . Then head to the gym . Now 
beat the gym leader . He will give you a storm badge . Then go outside you will 
see 
a girl walking below the gym , talk to her she will give you Hmo2(Fly) Then next 
to 
her you will see a little biulding go inside and talk to the guy he will give you 
a 
secret potion . Now head ack to olvine and give the medicine to Jasime at the top 
of 
the light house . She will return to the gym . Beat her she will give you a 
mineral 
badge .Now fly to Ecruteak and go out of the gaurd house in the east . Now surf 
across the water and surf across the water again where you should run into a 
trainer 
named Chris and then a Trainer named Shane and then a trainer named Benjermin . 
Then 
head east some moreand you chould be in Mahagany town . Go to the poke center and 
heal . Then head north of this town to lake of rage . When you get to lake of 
rage 
surf in the water until you see a pokemon sticking out of the water click a on 
it . 
This pokemon is red garados capture it or defeat it then surf to the land and go 
to 
the sign . Lance will be there . Talk to him . Then fly to mahogany town and go 
to 
the into the biulding above the poke center . Lance will be there . Go through 
the 
stairs that lance opened and defeat all of the rockets and get the password and 
unlock the locked areas and then destroy all of the electrodes and then lance 
will 
give you you Hmo6 (whirl pool) . Now get out of team rockets hide out . Then head 
to 
the gym . Now beat the gym leader he will give you a Glacier badge. Now Heal and 
and 
fly to Goldenrod and go to the radio tower . When you get inside start to head 
upstairs and battle all of the rockets again . Then go upstairs agian and beat 
all 
of the rockets . Then go upstairs once more and beat all of the rockets again . 
Then 
go upstairs and battle the rocket Executive . Now go to the underground entrance 
and 
go down into you see a passage way to the right take it and you will see a door 
go 
inside ( first you must press a on the door ) . Now go down the stairs you will 
battle your rival there . After you beat your rival you beat your rival. You will 
notice three swithes press A on the switches to open the doors below . If you 
want 
to get through press the 3rd on and then the second one on and then the 1st one 
on . 
Once you get inside the door below find the director he will give you a card 
key . 
Now go back to the radio tower and go to the floor where the gate is use the card 
key on it . It will open . Beat the rockets and go upstairs . Now go upstairs 
again 
and beat the last rockets and the director will give you will give you a rainbow 
wind or a silver wing depending on what version you have .Now get out of the 
radio 
tower and fly to mahogany and go east of mahogany town . You will battle a 
trainer 
named Phil . Now go south of phil where you will battle a trainer named Edgar . 
Keep 
heading east when you get to ice cave find your way through it . Remember to find 
Hmo7 inside the cave . Once you get out of the of the cave you wilol be in 
Blackthorn city . Go to the gym after healing beat the gym leader .He will give 
you 
a challenge go behind the gym and surf across to the water and go in to the cave 
and 
find the . When you do Clair will come and give you the last jhoto badge . Now go 
out of the cave . and fly to Newbark town and go inside proffesor elms lab and 
talk 
to professor Elm .Now proffesor elm will give you a master ball .Now go out side 
and 
make sure you have pokemon that know cut, surf, whirl pool , strength , flash , 
waterfall , and fly . When got all of them . Go east and go through water fall 
cave .Now go north and east and you will battle a trainer named blake . Then head 
east and north into you get to a cave. Find your way through it and your rival 
will 
battle you . When you get through it . Head north and you will beat the eliet 
4 .Heal your pokemon and go east and then north through the stairs . Now take the 
challenge . Once you have beat the eliet 4 go to elms lab to get an S.S ticket . 
Now 
fly to olvine . go south of the town where you will see a biulding go inside and 
then go down the small passage way to get on a boat to kanto . Now go to the 
second 
to last door on the right and go inside and battle a trainer named Noland . When 
you 
beatin him head west to then south then east to the first door where you will 
battle 
a trainer named lyle .Now go two doors down and inside to battle a trainer named 
Colin and another trainer named meg and peg.No go to the last door on the right 
and 
talk to the guy inside . Then go out and go inside the stairs . Then go up and 
talk 
to the guy who is gaurding .Now go back out and go north and go inside the third 
door to the left and battle the sailor named stanly . Now go back down the stairs 
where the guy was guarding .He will let you through now. Go above him and then go 
into the first room and battle the guy by the garbage. Then go out and go into 
the 
next room and battle the guy sitting down . Then go out and talk to the girl 
standing against the wall . Then go down and through the stairs and in the 
cabin . 
Talk to the girl next to the captain . Then you will warp you will warp to the 
kid’s 
grampa now go off the boat you will be in vermilion city . Heal your pokemon . 
Then 
go to the gym and beat the gymleader . He will give you a Thunderbadge .Now go to 
the poke center and heal . Then go north of this town and through the gaurd house 
and you will be in saffron.Go to the gym and beat the gymleader she will give you 
a 
marshbadge . Now go into the gaurd gate next door in the north . Now keep heading 
north and youll be in cerulean city . Now head north and up a bridge . Now head 
east 
and beat all the trainers to get a nugget after you talk to the guy at the end. 
Now 
go back to cerulean and go east through a little pasage way and cut down a tree 
at 
the end of it . Then head east into you find a poke center . Now go north of the 
poke center and surf east then south then west . Now you should be at a big 
biulding 
go inside and talk to the manager . Now fly back to celurean and go inside the 
gym a 
rocket will run out of the gym . now go strait up into you run into a sqaure of 
water . Surf around in it stopping and pressing A until you find a machine part . 
Now go back to the power plant and give the machine part to the manager . Now fly 
to 
celuean . and go where you got the nugget and go east of there . Misty will be 
there . Now go to her gym and beat her . ( her gym is in celurean) She will give 
you 
a cascade badge .Now fly to staffron and heal your pokemon and head north and go 
above the tall biuldings to the copy cats house . Go upstairs and talk to the 
copy 
cat . Now fly to vermilion city and go above the gym and into the fan house . Go 
to 
the girl sitting down and talk to her she will give you a clefairy doll . Now go 
back to the copy cats house and give it to her. She will geive you a rail pass . 
Now 
you can take the train . Now go through the gaurd housein the west and go west 
some 
more into Celadon city . Go through south and look for a tree that can be cut . 
Cut 
the the tree down and go to the gym and beat the gym leader to get a rainbow 
badge . 
Now go above the gym and go through the gaurd house and bike down to another 
gaurd 
house and go through it . and go east into you see a little passagethat leads to 
a 
gym. Go inside and beat the gym leader to get a Soul badge . Now fly to staffron 
and 
go out the gaurd house in the east . Now just keep heading east into you get to 
lavender town . go across from the poke center and into the big biulding . Go to 
the 
guy against the wall talk to him . He will give you an exp card . Now go out side 
and fly to vermilion go to the east and you will see a big snorlax blocking a 
path 
play the poke flute song on your radio .Then press A on the snorlax to wake him 
up 
now either catch him or defeat him . Now go to the cave ( diglett cave) behind 
snorlax . Then walk walk to the end of the cave . Once you are out go west and 
cut 
down the tree . Then head north to pweter city . Once in pweter city . Go above 
the 
poke center then east from the Mart and you will see a guy talk to him he will 
give 
you a silver wing or the rainbow wing depending on what version you have . Now go 
west from him and into the gym . Beat the gym leader to get a boulder badge. Then 
go 
out side and head to the south oh this town to virdian town . Once in viridian 
then 
head south once more to pallet town . Once in pallet town head south and surf 
down . 
until you see a poke center . Get on the land and go west of the poke center . 
Then 
north and you will see a guy talk to him . Now surf east in the water until you 
reach a cave That cave is actully a gym . Beat the gymleader to get a vocano 
badge . 
Now fly to viridian . Find the gym above the mart store . Now beat the gym leader 
to 
Get a Earth badge . Now fly to pallet and go in professor oaks lab and talk to 
him . 
He will will open a the gate to Mt. Silver . Now fly to viridian and head west 
into 
you come to a biulding . Go inside and and go strait across now you will be out 
side 
again . your job is to find Red here and beat him once you beat him you beat the 
game . I must warn you ash uses pokemon above lv 70 . So train before you try to
