Ogami: The weather's nice again today......  No kaijin have appeared lately,
   and peace has returned to Paris.

   If Commander Yoneda were here, he'd probably say at times like these
   "you must not forget disorder in times of peace."{1}

   Yes - it is because this is a time of peace that we should tighten our
   guard.

   Now then...... I had arranged to eat lunch with everyone today at noon.

   If I don't get ready soon, Erica will once again......

Erica: Mr. Ogamiii!  We've come to greet you!!  Let's go eat lunch!!

Ogami: I- I'll be right there!!

Erica: Everyone's gathered.  Let's go get lunch, quickly.

Ogami: You're right.  What should we go eat?

Glycine: How about some European cooking?  I'll show you the taste of a
   genuine Viking meal.

Coquelicot: I want Vietnamese cooking!  It's spicy, but it's really tasty!!

Lobelia: What good is it eating food in the middle of the day?  You've got to
   go with some alcohol.  I know a good bar nearby.

Glycine: Don't be ridiculous!!  Drinking alcohol in the middle of the day is

Grand Mere: Now then, you're all gathered.  I've got something I have to say
   to all of you.

   You guys......  Tomorrow you don't need to come to Chattes Noires.

Glycine: So you say, but if we are to take a vacation, who will defend 
   Paris!?!

Lobelia: If that's the way you feel, then, being as grand as you are, you can
   go to work by yourself.  I'm taking the day off.

Jean: Wait just a second.  Does that mean all of us in the mechanic squad

   having a big race at the Longchamp horse track.

Mell: From the results of examining the data, there seems to be a blind spot
   below them......

   If you proceed while hiding in the holes opened up along the Champs
   Elysees avenue, you should be able to avoid their attacks.

Ogami: So we can avoid the turrets' attacks if we get into a hole......  It
   would seem necessary to proceed with caution.

   Triomphe.  It's entirely different from the enemies you've faced up until
   now!!

Glycine: No matter what the difference, in the end, the small fry are the
   small fry......  I'll crush them all in one fell swoop!

Lobelia: Oh, oh, for once we agree......  Is this that teamwork you were
   talking about?

== Eyecatch 6.3 ==

== Translation Notes ======================================================
First of all, I just want to point out that this episode was especially
time-consuming to translate as I had to go through each squad-member's
date.  Consequently, I went through a lot more free movement events and
LIPS options than usual.  I think I went through almost all the possible
things you can do in the Mell and Ci Click-LIPS (except...... well, you
know ^^;;; ).  As a result, there may be a few lines I accidentally
skipped over, so I hope you don't get too lost, especially with all the
various events that are dependent on things that happen previously.

{1} "Chi ni ite ran wo wasurezu."  While the citizens enjoy peace, those
behind the scenes must never forget to prevent against possible threats to
that peace.

{2} Kayama here is affecting a stereotypical accent of a foreigner speaking
Japanese badly.  He explicitly says his given name before his family name,
uses "me" (the English word) for his first-person personal pronoun, and ends
his sentence with "zansu," which, like Tarebou's "zamasu," is some sort of
mutation of the word "gozaimasu."

{3} The expression Kayama uses appears to literaly mean "the staff ahead that
will not tumble" (“]‚΂ʐæ‚̏ñ - "korobanu saki no tsue").  If anyone can 
correct me on that, I would appreciate it.

{4} A tea stalk standing straight up in one's tea is considered a sign of
good luck in Japan.

{5} A 'topknot' hairstyle.  See episode one.

{6} The best explanation I can give for "munya munya" is that it represents
sounds made by one who is falling asleep.

{7} This is sound Ogami makes as he gasps for air.

{8} Ga Ruu Bo Ni O Ka Ta Ki De N To?  Erica is saying the individual morae
(more or less syllables, as represented by the kana of the Japanese written
language) of her previous sentence in reverse order.

{9} A type of Russian soup.  Ogami's referring to the time he made it with
Maria in the first Sakura Wars game.  This line of dialog may only occur if
you've previously combined system data from the first Sakura Wars, though I
haven't confirmed that.

{10} French for "squid."

{11} "Jidai-geki," or "period dramas," are historical films usually set in
pre-1868 (before the Meiji restoration).  Most popular genre of such films
are 'chambara' or 'samurai' films with "spectacular sword-fighting scenes."

{12} The 'V,' of course, stands for 'victory.'  Often when this is said, it
is accompanied by a gesture of forming the letter 'V' with the first two
fingers of an outstretched hand.
