1. Introduction to Tekken Tag Tournament
========================================

The 4th installment of the iron fist Tekken series, Tekken Tag
Tournament is a nice multi-player brawler. Featuring a total of 34
characters (new, and returning old favorites), it is a great game to get
addictive to, playing until you finally get tired mashing the buttons
for like three consecutive hours.

New in this 4th annual Iron Fist Tournament, you will be able to play
tag matches - yes, you can play with two fighters in a team. The
concept of this game is duke it out with your fighters brawling against
another team, and beat them down, unless they finish you off. If you
don't own Street Fighter EX3 at the very least, you can get this amazing
game, created by none other than Namco.

All characters are now packed with their new moves, as well as old ones
that will appreciate you greatly (see how Jin knocks the opponent away
from his Dragon Uppercut? Or how Heihachi crushes them with his Geta
Stomping?). In addition, you also get to perform special combination
moves, only possible when you team up two characters that match in order
to perform the moves.

Namco surely does a great job in getting Tekken Tag Tournament to be a
great fighting game in my hands. And if you are, get ready to brawl in
this Iron Fisted Tournament...

========================
2. Modes of Play/Options
========================
After the opening movie, pressing start will reveal the Main Menu. On
the Menu, you will see 7 different modes.

Arcade: Basically TTT's "tournament" mode. Once you select your team of
fighters, you will brawl your way through 8 matches. The difficulty
depends on the CPU's fighting skill. In the last battle, you will face
the final boss, Unknown. After you defeat the boss, your character's
ending movie will play (a la Twisted Metal: Black style).

Time Attack: It is the same as Arcade mode, except you are competing
against the clock. You will, of course, fight through 8 matches, but the
difficulty will be raised up a little during this mode. The only
exceptions are that the game will keep you from pausing the game, so you
can't get out of the mode until you complete the game.

Survival: Endurance mode. Beat down as many CPU opponents as possible,
until you get knocked out. There won't be any continues, so try your
best to stay alive.

VS. Battle: Multi-Player mode. Duke it out with your friends in a single
stage.

1 on 1 Battle Mode: Similar to Arcade mode, except for the fact that you
will be playing individually, without any team members. This can be a
Arcade mode for 2-players if your friends are dying to play against you.

Team Battle mode: TTT's Last Man Standing mode. Select the amount of
team members for you and the CPU. Choose your characters in your team,
and the CPU will randomly select the characters you will go against.
Duke it out face-to-face until one player is remaining.

Practice: Learn all the moves of your character, and the nature of their
fighting style. Use this mode to also discover combos, and practice
fighting against the CPU.

Mid-Move Change Once a Juggle/Launcher hits, L1, L2, R1, or R2

---------
4. Basics
---------

Juggle/Launcher
---------------
A juggle/launcher involves knocking the opponent into the air. Once it
succeeds, the opponent is vunerable until they hit the ground. You are
then given the chance to string in additional attacks before they land.
It also gives you some time to set up a attack while your opponent
recovers, if you don't bother to strike.

Supercharger
------------
Pressing S + X + C + T will activate the Supercharger. Your fighter will
have a burst of energy move into their hands. You can continue to charge
up with the Supercharger, which will extend the time of activation
before it fades. Under the influence of the Supercharger, your attacks
will be stronger, a Counter Hit becomes available against the opponent,
and your opponent can receive damage from a attack that connects with
your opponent while they are guarding. Some attacks also gain new
properties with the Supercharger.

Counter Hits
------------
Once the opponent attacks, and you successfully retaliate with your
attack, the attack will inflict more damage, making it a nice bonus to
tack in with your counterattacks. This can also be available from the
use of the Supercharger, which now makes all of your attacks become
Counter Hits.

Unblockable
-----------
An incredibly powerful attack that will inflict massive damage when used
right. A fighter will slowly generate power, before unleashing the
attack. If successful, the attack will cause major damage to the
opponent. Good timing under the influence of the unblockable attack will
make it a fighter "omega" weapon. To tell if an unblockable attack is
performed, the fighter will have a warm-up period, before they unleash
the attack. It cannot be blocked (as the name implies), so evading or
countering the move will keep the attack from succeeding. This makes a
good time in landing a Counter Hit on your opponent during their
assault.

-------------------------------
5. Character Move Lists/Endings
-------------------------------

This section will provide move lists for every character in Tekken Tag
Tournament, as well as endings for each fighter that I discovered, as
well as any combos I found for them. Although I don't have the full move
lists for each fighter, I will list the known ones from the game. There
will be more move lists/endings to add in this section soon.

Ending: Jin takes the beaten Kazuya Mishima on the floor, and lifts him
up. He is ready to make his final blow, but for some reason, something
holds him back from finishing Kazuya off. Jin then drops Kazuya Mishima
on the floor, and then falls onto his knees, as though failing what he
wanted to accomplish for several years.

6. Secrets
==========

Additional Characters:
Very similar to unlocking the additional characters in Street Fighter
EX3. To unlock the following characters, you must beat Arcade Mode a
certain # of times, using a different character the next time you go to
complete Arcade Mode. Continues are allowed, and difficulty does not
matter. You will unlock the characters in order:

Kunimitsu - 1 time
Bruce - 2 times
Jack-2 - 3 times
Lee - 4 times
Wang - 5 times
Roger/Alex - 6 times
Kazuya - 7 times
Kuma/Panda - 8 times
Ogre - 9 times
True Ogre - 10 times
Prototype Jack - 11 times
Tetsujin/Mokujin - 12 times
Devil/Angel - 13 times
Unknown - 14 times

Select unknown characters:
The following six characters are not seen on the Character Select
Screen. However, it is possible to select them, even if they are not
shown at all.

Tiger - Highlight Eddy Gordo and press Start.
Alex - Highlight Roger and press X or Circle.
Angel - Highlight Devil and press Start.
Tetsujin - Move left from Wang's picture to show Tetsujin's name on the
Character Select screen, then press Square or Triangle.
Mokujin - While selecting Tetsujin, press X or Circle.
Unknown - Move left from Tetsujin/Mokujin's invisible picture and press
any button (except for directional buttons) to select.

Theater Mode:
Completing Arcade Mode once will open up Theater mode. You can then see
some FMV sequences, and unlocked character movies, as well as listen to
music.

Tekken Bowl Mode:
Unlock Wang to open up the only minigame in Tekken, Tekken Bowl mode
(I'm not to sure if something is wrong with my game, but that was how I
unlocked Tekken Bowl mode).

Gallery Mode:
Unlock Unknown to open up Gallery mode. You can then save a screenshot
of cool actions (such as performing a move) in the game onto your memory
card, which will be revealed in this mode (again, I don't know if
anything is wrong with my game, so don't bother to ask).

Change Unknown mimics:
Press the right joystick button (R3) to change Unknown mimics without
tagging. This is an easy way to change her mimics without wasting time.

Mimics during Tekken Bowl mode:
With any character selected and Tetsujin/Mokujin or Unknown selected,
once you get a strike, they will mimic your character's pose.

Unlock Jukebox in Tekken Bowl mode:
Score 200 or more points to unlock the Jukebox in the Bowling options.
You can then choose any music to listen from, if you get sick hearing
the kinds you don't like in Tekken Bowl Mode.

Unlock EMBU:
Complete Arcade Mode, and after your charcater's ending, wait for a few
Seconds (press start to skip the credits). The game will then show a
movie called EMBU, in which Jin, Xiaoyu, Eddy, Hwoarang, Paul, and Jun
do some interesting things at a chinese temple stage.

Unlock Arcade Movie:
To unlock the Arcade version movie of Tekken Tag Tournament, complete
Time Attack mode. A different movie (which is the Arcade version of TTT)
will be shown. Alternatively, wait for the credits to end. The arcade
movie will then be shown afterwards.

Unlock EMBU2:
Unlock all the characters in Arcade mode. Once you unlock Unknown (the
last character) in Arcade, wait for a few seconds after your character's
ending, and then EMBU2 will be shown. It is similar to EMBU1, but it
involves Panda, Roger, Kuma, and Alex fighting at a island stage.

Play as Gold Tetsujin:
Accumalate 10 or more wins in versus mode. Then, when you select
Tetsujin, you will play as the gold instead of steel version.

Costumes:
When selecting any pair of characters, press Start (for some
characters), Square or Triangle, or X or Circle to select your character
with different costumes.

New Costume for Armor King:
Complete Arcade Mode with Armor King. Then, while selecting Armor King,
press Start.

7. Theater
==========

The Theater is where you get to see movies, including all the character
movies you unlocked in the game. You also can listen to various
character Music in the game. The buttons you press will show the
characters in different costumes. There is no change between the movies,
so it doesn't matter on what button you press to see the movie.

===================
8. Tekken Bowl Mode
===================

The Tekken Bowl Tournament is a interesting minigame ever seen in
Tekken. Although you get no accomplishments from playing in this
tournament, you can at least have fun. A few rules apply to playing
Tekken Bowl Mode:

- To get a strike, knock down all 10 pins. If you get a strike, you will
get to play with the same character in the next game.

- To get a spare, with your second character knock down the remaining
pins left by the first character.

- To get a nice cover, the pins must be somewhat hard to hit altogether
(I don't exactly know how to explain this, however). Once you toss the
ball, knocking down all the pins will get you a nice cover.

- The points are given by the pins you knockdown. With strikes, spares,
or nice covers, points are determined in the next game.

- Points are deducted for misses and fouls.

Strikes: There are 4 different kinds of strikes, depending on the ones
you made. Getting as much strikes as possible will gurantee to reward
you with big points. The following strikes are recieved in order:

Strike = First strike
Double = Second strike
Turkey = Three consecutive strikes
Punch Out (only during third game of the tenth inning when playing
against someone as the first player) = Three consecutive strikes
Great = Four consecutive strikes (extra exclamation marks are added for
additional strikes)

Misses: If you don't knock down any pins at all, this is a miss. Points
are deducted if a miss is recieved.

Fouls: On rare occasions, your power meter may overcharge, resulting in
your player letting out a yell and then jumping and sliding forward.
This will result in a foul. Points (as far as it seems) are deducted
from this as well. If your second character manages to knock down all of
the pins, during the next part of the game, it will only give a spare
instead of a strike.

Fun Things: These are hilarious things I tested myself and I laughed out
so loud that I can't help it. However, use the following to your risk,
as they will deduct points from attempting to do so.

K.O. the audience #1: Move to the far left or right, then hit X. Hold
left or right to aim the ball at the audience, and then charge the power
of your ball and release it. A rumble will shake and a K.O. message will
be displayed on the left or right (depending on what side you aim at).
In addition, another message will appear at the bottom, which is
"Caution: Please do not try this at home". This will result in a miss.

K.O. the audience #2: The same thing applies to the above, except now
overcharge the meter while aiming at the audience. If done properly,
your character will jump, slide out of sight, and knock down the crowd
(LOL)!

==========
9. Gallery
==========

The Gallery is a nice place to look at for latest shots of your gaming
experience. Although that is all in this place, at least you can still
look at your gaming experience screenshot while looking all satisfied.
My favorite shots will be described here.

Screenshot 1 - The Jun Kazama ass-whuppin kicker
This shot shows Jun knocking Lee up into the air with her Double Lift
Kicks. Since the shot is taken with her in the air, she is suspended in
mid-air with her legs sticking out.

Screenshot 2 - Baek's Rocket Launcher
This screenshot shows Baek knocking Bryan up with his Rocket Launcher.
Bryan, knocked up into the air, is suspended with his neck backward from
the impact of the hit.

Screenshot 3 - The Hunting Hawk assault
Not much, it shows Baek ready to do his last hit of Hunting Hawk to
knock down Bryan from the air.

Screenshot 4 - Sweep Whuppin' ol' Lei
Jun Kazama does her Swallow Mallet to Sweep combo to attack the helpless
Lei after her Blizzard Combo to Whiplash Double Lift Upper juggle combo
move.

Combo Movies
After beating each stage, before moving on to the next stage perform a
combo. Once you complete each stage and beat the final boss, the game
will review your latest time of K.O.ing the opponent. Although these are
not recorded in the Theater mode, I thought I can't stress putting these
out of my mind, as I can still imagine them even when not recorded.

Combo Movie #1:
This shows Baek knocking out the opponent with his Butterfly Blade
combo. He then does the Butterfly Kick combo, with the movie stopping at
the part where he finishes the last kick of the Butterfly Kick combo.

Combo Movie #2:
Jun finishes off the opponent by using the Blizzard Combo to Whiplash
Double Lift Upper. She then does her sweep combo to continue attacking
the opponent, and the movie stops there.

Combo Movie #3:
Hwoarang beats the opponent to hell using his Machine Gun Kick combo. He
repeats the combo again with another Machine Gun Kick combo. The game
stops at where Hwoarang delivers his final blow to the airborne
opponent, knocking them a bit of feet away.

Combo Movie #4:
Baek K.O.'s the opponent with his Rocket Shooter. He then uses his
Hunting Hawk to hit them out of the air. The game stops at where Baek
unleashes the second hit of the Hunting Hawk.

11. Glitches
============

Infinite Combo during Training Mode:
Actually, if you choose Eddy (or Tiger, I believe) as an opponent during
training mode, just keep hitting them and the combo counter will keep
adding up the hits of the combo (even though it knows that the combo
doesn't involve hitting the opponent once every time!)

Occasional Strike:
If you toss the ball that has low power, and it goes straight and hits
the middle pin, there can be a 75% possibility that it will knock down
all pins as well.

Unknown and Baek/Hwoarang team-up:
During a fight, keep changing Unknown's mimics until she mimics Baek or
Hwoarang. Then perform the Human Cannonball, and hit tag. With Baek, he
will perform the Neckswap. With Hwoarang, he'll perform Baek's move (I
don't exactly know the name, sorry). Strange, eh?

Continuous Jack Slaughter:
With Kazuya, and any Jack as an opponent, keep performing the Glorious
Demon God Fist. Somehow, Kazuya will knock the Jack down, and still hit
them even when they are not up! This will stop only when any Jack lies
onto the ground completely.

Double Inferno Killer:
This only works on the Jacks. With Devil or Angel, keep your distance,
and shoot the Inferno. Immediately use the Air Inferno before Jack/Jack
- 2/Prototype Jack comes close, and this will cause a 2-hit combo with
100 damage! Of course, the sacrifice is getting hit in retaliation once
you land on the ground (at least the damage recieved isn't worse).
Another cool thing is that if you get behind the Jack, shoot a Inferno
laser, and then shoot another before Jack gets out of distance. This
will shoot the head and knock them off (this 2-hit combo does 72
damage)!

Kazuya and Devil transformation:
With Kazuya and Devil teamed up, wait for the match begin... and somehow
the Devil disappears! However, by tagging, Kazuya can transform into the
Devil. The same thing goes for the Devil. Start the match and Kazuya
will disappear.

Revive any Jack's fury:
Once you shoot a Inferno at the Jacks (as Devil/Angel), they start
swinging their arms wildly. If lucky, you might be able to hit the
furious Jacks and revive them of their fury, in which they put their
arms up and they make some odd sound but still get damaged anyway.
