You may put it on your site as long as the following conditions are satisfied: you give me the URL so I can check the site out, you credit me fully, you ask me, and this _must_ remain unchanged. However, you CAN print out a copy for your private, personal use. This FAQ can appear on the following sites without asking me: >http://www.gamefaqs.com< >http://www.cheatcc.com< >http://www.neoseeker.com< >http://www.cheatcodes.com< Why those sites? I send this directly to GameFAQs and CheatCodes.com, and I like going to Cheat Code Central. This list will probably expand over time. I added Neoseeker because they were nice enough to send me an E-Mail asking if they could use one of my FAQs. It can also appear on my site at http://www.crosswinds.net/~icyguy if I feel like putting it there. 2. Revision History Version 0.1- Finished on 1/24/02. 6.02 KB. -Added everything. 3. Intro Welcome to yet another one of my FAQ writing attempts! Since Twisted Metal 3 doesn't have a lot of FAQs, I decided to make one. This FAQ is your guide to each vehicle's Special, acceleration, top speed (without Turbo), ramming power, and an overall rating. Let's begin! 4. Auger Special: Drill Activation (Spikes your opponent and then flings them away.) Acceleration: Poor Top speed: Poor Ramming power: Great Overall: Don't try and run away- charge your opponents instead! Best used with a "kamikaze" strategy. 5. Mr. Grimm Special: Screaming Soul (Flying skeleton that fires in a straight line and causes much damage.) Acceleration: Pretty Good Top speed: Pretty Good Ramming power: Average Overall: Use your Special attack without mercy. Drive near your foe for a better chance at hitting them, and then Jump, regardless if your Special connects or not. 6. Spectre Special: Ghost Missle (Never fails to hit; goes through obstacles.) Acceleration: Best Top speed: Best Ramming Power: Average-Good Overall: Use that Dodge Viper to your advantage! Run around the level's perimeter, firing off Ghost Missles like there's no tomorrow. 7. Firestarter Special: Torch (Something akin to a flamethrower attached to the front of your car.) Acceleration: Great Top speed: Very Good Ramming power: Good Overall: Use the Torch without mercy! It sets your opponents on fire as well. Just stay away once they're on fire. 8. Flower Power Special: Flower of Power (Homing flower.) Acceleration: OK Top speed: Average Ramming power: OK Overall: I'd avise using your Special whenever possible. Stay away from a "ram them!" strategy and use either Power or Homing missles after Freezing your target. 9. Thumper Special: Sonic Blast (Shockwave sent in all directions.) Acceleration: OK Top speed: Average Ramming power: Good Overall: Wait until you see a cluster of cars and then use your Special for a lot of damage. Learn how to spin out, because when your car is broadsided, it seems to take less damage. 10. Hammerhead Special: Stomp (Speed burst that causes your truck to crush other cars.) Acceleration: Not too good Top speed: OK Ramming power: Excellent Overall: The best thing about this truck is that it can cause serious damage with its Special. Just watch out when using Stomp on the Tokyo level. 11. Axel Special: Shockwave (Self-explanatory.) Acceleration: Average Top speed: Average Ramming power: Great Overall: Follow the same strategy as you would when using Thumper and you'll be fine. 12. Roadkill Special: Spike Bomb (Like a Mortar, only much more powerful.) Acceleration: Average Top speed: Average Ramming power: Good Overall: Only use your Special in open areas. If you don't, it will probably hit any low ceilings. 13. Warthog Special: Patriot Missle (Three powerful seeking missles at once.) Acceleration: OK Top speed: Average Ramming power: Very good Overall: Good all-around vehicle. A little-known fact about the Patriot Missle is that the farther it flies, the stronger it gets, so use it a long range. 14. Club Kid Special: Vortex (A whirpool that sucks your opponent in and spits 'em out.) Acceleration: Good Top speed: Good Ramming power: OK Overall: Use your small size to avoid missles. The Vortex is like the Patriot Missles: the longer it goes on for, the more powerful it will be. 15. Outlaw Special: Omni Taser (Electrical bolt that fries multiple targets at close range.) Acceleration: Average-Good Top speed: Good Ramming power: Average Overall: Another all-around vehicle. Use the Omni Taser near groups of cars for intense carnage. 16. Sweet Tooth Special: Flaming Head (A low-altitude Rain Missle.) Acceleration: Good Top speed: Good Ramming power: Good Overall: Very good vehicle to use. The Flaming Head might set your opponent on fire. 17. Minion Special: Quad Attack (Three seeking Power Missles and a Freeze.) Acceleration: Poor Top speed: OK Ramming power: Illegally powerful Overall: The ultimate ramming machine. Use and abuse the Special. 18. Contact Info Want to send me any tips you have?
