1. Introduction

Welcome to my Lego the Hobbit 3ds walkthrough. This guide will cover "An
Unexpected Journey" and "The Desolation of Smaug". This will show you how to find
every character, red brick, and unlockables. So let's get this adventure started.

 
2. FAQS

Q: What platform is this guide for?

A: 3DS.

Q: Will this include the dlc "The Battle of the Five armies"?

A: Yes. When and if it comes out on 3ds

Q: I'm stuck. Can I contact you for help?

A: All the info on what to do is on this guide. If you can't find it here ask me.

Q: Should I see the movies?

A: That's up to you. I would. If you like "The Lord of the Rings" then you'll like
"The Hobbit".

Q: Are there any cutscenes from the movie itself on this version?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you still use studs to buy things like in the other Lego games?

A: Yes and no. To buy characters, hints and secrets of Middle Earth yes. To buy
red bricks, Buildable stuff no. We'll get into that in the unlockable part.

Q: I see a "?" over my characters head when I go near a certain object. What's
that mean?

A: It means you have yet to unlock that character.

4. Walkthrough

This is the walkthrough. For the gameplay I'll cover the accomplishments you can
do in gameplay. The free play stuff will be covered in free play. So here we go.
4A. Mines of Erebor

" Frodo you once asked me about my adventures." -Bilbo Baggins

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collector Challenge: Collect 30,000 studs

Collect Resources: The first is right past where you use Thorin, The next is right
before the minecart, The last is in the area where you get the Arkenstone

Last Candle Standing: Pretty simple. All 8 are at the beginning

Gameplay:

Walk down the path till you get to the door. Smash the pots there and build a
lever. In the next room grab the torch and light the campfire there. A handle
piece will appear. Give it to the workers for the full handle and take it to the
turnstile and turn it. Next go to where Thorin can use a drwarf to help turn the
wheel to get through to the next area. Build the minecart and ride it. Pull the
lever in the next area and walk over the plank. Build the ladder and climb it and
use Thorin to break the rock.

Your in Erebor in the past. Move on.
4B. The Coming of Smaug

" The first they heard was a noise like a hurricane" -Bilbo Baggins

Story accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level.

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 15,000 studs (Simple right? Well it is)

Collect Resources: The first is past the first horn, The second is right next to
the handles you need to jump on. The last is in the last area right next to the
doors where Smaug rears his ugly head.

Without a scratch: Complete the level without taking damage. Easier than you
think. Just stay away from Smaug's fire breath at every chance you get.

Horn Blower: The first Horn is after the Dwalin part, The second is past the part
where you build a jump ramp, The last is after the jump handles.

Gameplay:

Build a pow point and strike it with Dwalin. If you're trying for "Without a
scratch" watch out for Smaug's fire breath. Build the jump ramp. Jump up the
handles. Build the dwarf switch. Turn it then go down and grab the handle and take
it over to the turnstile. Turn that. The level is done.
4C. The Sickness of Thror

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level.

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 39,000 studs 

Collect Resources: If you want you can save this for free play if you want the "
Gold Streak" accomplishment. Either way you'll have to come back eventually for
the other. The first is next to where Gollum's wall is. The second is about
halfway where Smaug's tail blocks your way and another accomplishment can be done
later on. The third is in the part where the gold chases you. Last 3 pots in the
chase. Its the one on the very right

Pot Bash: Another 1 where you have a choice between this and the other 2. Again
you'll have to come back for it anyways. The first is just as you begin. 1 is
hiding behind a pillar. (By the way these are jewel encrusted pots. Not to be
confused with the regular pots you see scattered around). The next is right before
Smaug's tail gets in your way again. The fourth is right before the jump part. The
last is in the gold chase. You'll need to backtrack so make sure you're pretty
well ahead of the gold or it will hit you.

Gold Streak: Unless your quick on your feet you can't do this, resources and the
pot bash accomplishments in one trip. You need to get past the gold chase in 18
seconds which isn't a lot. Again these will be available at any time so you can
save any of the three for the free play.

Gameplay: Start by walking till Smaug's tail knocks over a pillar. Use Dori to get
the pillar out of the way and continue. Smaug's tail will block your way (Pesky
dragon). Keep hitting it till he moves it. Move on and over the jump part. Now
comes a choice I told you about take 1 of those challenges and run like your pants
are on fire. If the gold hits you your dead and will have to start the whole level
over. Beware of obstacles as well. Your done with Erebor (For now).
4D. Bag End

" We don't want any adventures today. Good morning" -Bilbo Baggins

Story accomplishments: 

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Colect 10,000 studs

What Bilbo Baggins Hates: There's 3 pieces of furniture at the beginning, The next
2 are after you knock the door down as Dwalin. The next 2 are after you open the
door as Balin, the next is after you meet with Dwalin, The next is in the kitchen,
there's also one in Bilbo's living room

What Bilbo Baggins likes: This is a given since you do this anyway. Just catch 3
dishes and put them in the sink.

Gameplay: You start as Dwalin. Knock the door down. When you enter the next room
break a piece of furniture and get the pow point and put it where the box is.
Smash again. (If I were Bilbo I'd be pissed). Go into the next room. Now your in
control of Bilbo. Go to the door. Balin now joins your party. Build the turnstile
and turn it. Head through. Meet up with Dwalin. Bash the door down (Man I'd hate
to have these dwarves in my house). You'll again take control of Bilbo. By now
he's peeved. Go to the door. The rest of the party arrives. Go to the kitchen and
open the cabinet and use Thorin to build the new object. Now catch the dishes as
they fly past Thorin. Finally pick up the music note. This needs to be taken to
the panel where the living room is. Play the music minigame.

You'll be back in middle earth but now in the past. Move to the next part. You'll
meet some people but for now just go to the next part. This part has another gold
brick build. Build it. Later there's a few "Resources" spot. I'll let you know of
the one you need for story mode when we get to it. Now you'll wind up in Bree. For
now move on. The party will make camp and mention "Orcs". You'll move to another
side story. Move north to the next pad.
4E. The Battle of Moria

"Moria had been taken by legions of Orcs" -Balin

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Gold time: Beat the level in 160 seconds. (This can be done later if its too hard
for now)

Silver time: Beat the level in 220 seconds (Same as gold. If you do the gold time
you don't have to do this)

Without a scratch: This 1 can be hard so if you want you can wait to buy the "
Invincibilty" red brick to try this.

Gameplay: Fight the orcs till you can move past thefirst barrier they put up. Next
move into the next area and build the pow point. An orc will arrive with the last
part. put it where you built the pow point and break it. Fight more Orcs. Build
the pull point and use Dori. Move quickly if you are trying for either gold or
silver time. If so after they cut to the king move past the orcs and the final
cutscene will play.

Now you'll be back in Moria. Head north again and enter the next pod.
4F. Azog the Defiler

Story accomplishments

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Not easy. If you want save for later. 

No super moves: It makes it harder so you can do this later as well.

Silver Time: Beat the level in 180 seconds (Gold time again gets you this too)

Gold time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Oakenshield: Dash attack 3 orcs with the oakenshield

Gameplay: Boss battle time. Let me just say this guy can be hard to beat. Hit him
till he retreats. You'll notice a pow point. Knock Azog down and fight him till he
retreats again. Go up and use Thorin to knock the tree down. Thorin now has his
Oakenshield. The final part starts. Watch out. He now spins. After that he's
beaten (For now).

Your now back with Bilbo and his party. Move on.
4G. The Mountain Trolls

" What's the matter?" -Bilbo Baggins

" Trolls" -Thorin

Story accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud collect challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Find the treasure item: In the first horse fence.

Stream clean: Easy. There's a stream with 3 boxes. Just break them.

Spider spook: Scare 5 spiders. Their all around the level.

Gameplay: First of all whatever you do do not, repeat do not get seen by the
trolls. You do and you have to start the level over. Just build the jump parts.
Build another. This next part you'll see the trolls. You'll know if your too close
because your top screen will become yellow. Shot the target and the bird will poop
on the troll. (Either that or its an egg but let's just say its poop), shoot the
flower and it'll make the next troll sneeze. Pick up the filleting knife. (Yes the
trolls call it that.) Free the first horses. Now grab the handle and go to the
broken cart. Use Dori and pull the handle after placing it. Build the small
person's door. Go in with any small person. Hit the chicken cage and it will make
the goat angry which he will butt the carrots and break the fence. Go back down
and build the lever. Use Bilbo and shoot the target. This will open the gate
letting the other horses out.

Your in Trollshaws. Move to the next level
4H. Troll Battle

" Can we cook him? We can try" -Trolls

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Really hard to do. These guys are tough.

No super move: Easy.

Silver Time: Beat the level in 170 seconds (Gold will complete this if you do it)

Gold time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Rock and troll: This 1 is very funny to do. Trick Tom into throwing a rock onto
Bert. This can happen when Tom starts throwing rocks at you.

You Wot?: Trick William and Tom into running into Bert. Easy. Just stand next to
Bert when they charge.

Gameplay: This is a 3 part battle. Bert, William and Tom. Bert is easy. Just hit
him and avoid his attacks. Bert will topple into the pot and it'll land on his
head :P. Next is William. Make him run into anything even Bert. Start hitting him.
Now you'll face Tom. He'll start throwing rocks. Make him throw enough and he'll
toss 1 to a tree and knock down a nest. Build the remains into a catapult. Tom is
the same as William.

Your back in Trollshaws. Head to the next level.
4I. The Dawn

" The Dawn shall take you all" -Gandalf

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 15,000 studs

Collect Resources: 1 is near the first party members, The next is right next to
the dwarf switch and the final is right next to the Beorn Bear rock

Fast Seasoning: Create Seasoning Quickly (You can't get this and  the next in 1
go. Save 1 or the other for later)

Onion fest seasoning: Make seasoning with onions only

Evade trolls: Easy. Just follow the gameplay path and you'll avoid them easily.

Gameplay: You'll start as Dori who's still in his sack. press A to get out. Avoid
going too far right if your trying for evade trolls. Pull the handle as Dori and
rescue the first of your party. Get the gear and smash the box for the rest of
that switch. Now use Thorin and turn the dwarf switch and rescue more of your
party. Build a panel and use Thorin to initiate the seasoning minigame. If your
trying to get Fast seasoning catch any seasoning. If Onion fest catch only onions.
When 1 says " Tom get me filleting knife" you'll see a target. Pass it up and go
to another Thorin panel and save more of your party. Hit the target now. It'll
drop the filleting knife but a bunch of ants will grab it (Pesky ants), now build
the campfire and light it. This will release the ants and the filleting knife will
belong to the trolls. Knock the rock out of the way and the cart will roll. Save
another member. Break everything there for pieces. Use Thorin for 1. Now use him
again to build them. Shoot the target and save your last party member. Now you'll
automatically switch to Gandalf. Use his Super Move and end the level.

You'll be back in Trollshaws. Now guess what? Its time to use those resources
you've saved. Use them here. Move to the next level.
4J. Troll Hoard

" Oh what's that stench." -Nori

" Its a troll hoard. Be careful what you touch" -Gandalf

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the Level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Gameplay: As Gandalf said this is the troll hoard. But don't listen to him. Touch
everything you can. First shoot the cage down with Kili. That will drop the cage
on a box containing the pow point button. You know the drill here. Use Dwalin.
Change to Gandalf. This has his weapon. Keep moving till you come to some treasure
chests. Break them and use Gandalf to move the ladder onto the stalagtites. Use
Dori to pull on the handle and move on. You come to a cave. Use Gandalf to move
into it. Now use him to knock the stalagmite down. Use Dori to knock another cage
down and use Thorin to open the treasure chest. Here's his weapon. Build the
remains of the treasure chest into a music pad and play the minigame to unlock the
gate and move on. In the famous words of Nori "What's that stench?". Use someone
with a slingshot here and down drops something to clear all that gunk out of the
way. (Jeez. Didn't anyone tell these trolls how to pick up after themselves?).
Walk up to the scissors and cut the rope as Gandalf. Switch to Bilbo and get his
sword (Which in the Desolation of Smaug he names "Sting")

You'll be back in Trollshaws again. Now move on.
4K. Gundabad Wargs

" Thieves, Fire Murder." -Radagast

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Are you serious? This is a hard battle. Just leave it for later
or brace yourself trying to do this and the gold time.

Gold Time: Beat the level in 145 seconds (This is actually doable right now. Not
hard at all)

Silver Time: Beat the level in 160 seconds (Gold time will get this)

Gameplay: Another battle. This time with Wargs. You do this fight with Radagast in
your party. Just kill the Wargs and save the rabbits. That's the gist of it. After
killing a few wargs 1 will pick up a rabbit and toss it. Fight more. Dig up a spot
and use Thorin to build the next thing which will knock the warg and the rabbit
down. Use Radagast to heal that rabbit. Next use Dori to pull the handle you build
then use Dwalin. Heal the rabbit there as well. Shoot the target on the beehive to
make the rabbit come out and heal him too. Move the piece of wood and heal the
last rabbit. End the level by building the vehicle.

Radagast will now make the wargs chase him. Move on.
4L. The Hidden Valley

 Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Collect Resources: Right at the start point is 1, the next is right next to a tree
past the wall, the last is past the pow point.

Lego Kit: This is in the Stalagmite that you can blast away as Gandalf right in
the same spot as the Thorin panel.

Locate Region map: This is at the end of the level. Use Gandalf to move the rock
onto the cart.

Cow crusher: The first is where you start, the second past the wall, the last is
past the Thorin panel

Bush Basher: The first 2 is as you start the level, the next 2 are past the wall
you blast away as Gandalf and Gloin, the last is past the Thorin panel.

Gameplay: Now let's get away from those horrible wargs while Radagast keeps them
busy. First use Gandalf to make a flight of stairs to reach the top. Use Dori to
pull down a box. Use Gandalf to move the rockets and use Gloin to light the
rockets and scare a warg and blast a way to the next spot. Jump up and go across
as Dori. Push the rock down. Build the pow spot and use Dwalin. Build the Thorin
panel and use it. Use Gandalf to hit the Stalagmite and use the super move panel
and use the music panel to complete the level.

Welcome to Rivendell. Here's where you can buy stuff you need for builds. We'll
get into that later in the guide. Build the bridge by using resources. Then a
cutscene will play. For this next part you will use the region map we got in the
last level. Just go to the next panel and follow the instructions on how to finda
hidden panel. The dwarves and Bilbo will leave Gandalf behind. Move to the next panel.
4M. The Thunder Battle

" The dwarves they have gone" -Elf.

" This is no Thunderstorm. Its a thunder battle" -Thorin

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Collect Stud Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Collect Resources: First as you start. Second past the second pull handle to get
across. The last is after the hasty ascent part.

Boulder Dash:  Dodge all the rolling boulders. This isn't hard really.

Hasty ascent: Navigate the giant in 45 seconds. Easy since the time doesn't start
till you get to the pull handle.

Gameplay: Okay this level is quite simple really. First use Dori to pull a boulder
down. Build it into a pow point and use Dwalin. Next dig up the spot and build the
jump handle. This next part you have to be quick if you want the hasty ascent
accomplishment. After walking across a ledge, break the boulders. Go across the
chasm. After the part where a giant throws a boulder the timer will start. Break
that shiny boulder as Thorin and get moving. Now build that target quickly and use
that slingshot quickly too. Swing across. once you reach the top keep going (That
completes the challenge of hasty ascent if you do it). Keep going. (There's 
rolling boulders along the way so if you want that boulder dash avoid the boulders
coming down. They will be represented by a red circle). A giant will make a swipe
at the other breaking away a large portion. Build that and head up then down and
complete the level.

Back on the mountain build stuff. A cutscene will play. Welcome to Goblin town.
4N. Goblin Town

" Who would be so bold to come into my kingdom armed?" -Goblin King

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Not easy. You can try but I suggest waiting till later when you
have invincibility.

Lego Kit: This is found after pulling the lever in the next area.

Gold time: Beat the level in 200 seconds (It can be done but its very hard)

Silver time: Complete the level in 220 seconds.

Red Brick: After the part with Gandalf walk right a ways and grab this. If you're
going for either time accomplishments just pass this up till later.

Goblin Cleaver: Kill 30 goblins. Piece of cake.

Shoot the messenger: Just shoot the enemies with Gandalf that are on the ground
below. You'll hit him eventually.

Gameplay: Gandalf arrives to help the party. If you just want to go ahead and get
the gold time don't mess with the messenger accomplishment and break the super
move panel. Now you'll move into the fight. Fight the goblins and get that pow
piece. Now place it and use Dwalin. Do as Gandalf says and run while battling more
goblins. Break the boxes and get the handle and put it on the lever and pull it.
Use the slingshot and move on. Use the pow point. Battle your way down killing
more goblins. Grab that pow point and take it over after killing the goblin that
has it. Use Gandalf to break the Stalagmite. Finish the level.

Now you'll move to where Bilbo Baggins fell and we find a small strange creature.
Can anyone guess who? If you said Smeagol or Gollum your correct.
4O. Riddles in the Dark

" We like games" -Gollum

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the Level

Stuf Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs.

Gameplay: Time for some riddles. Hmm. What has roots that nobody sees goes up, up,
up and never grows? Hmm. That's a tough one. Break the boulders on the left and
the box as well. Build the ladder. Hit the spider web a few times and a rock will
drop. Oh wait. I got it. To solve the first riddle build the fire thingy and take
it to the mound. The answer is a mountain. Next riddle. Go to where Gollum knocked
over a boulder. Build a pathway. Walk across and build another. Break some boxes
and grab the first piece you need for a raft. Break more and then build the
pieces. The second answer is wind. Last riddle. Build the wheel and put the piece
in and use it to steer the raft. Now Gollum gets annoying (SHUT UP GOLLUM) Grab
the next piece on dry land and take it to the rubble and pick up the handle and
throw it to the handle place. Climb up and grab the next 1. Now build the
slingshot bag and shoot it. Wait did he just give us a clue. Build the clock. The
last answer is time. In all his rage Gollum will drop his "Precious" pick it up
and end the level.

Now your invisible. Head right. Back to Thorin and the party. You'll meet up with
Bilbo soon. Move to the next level. Ha you thought the Goblin King was done? Not a
chance.
4P. Goblin King

" What are you gonna do now wizard?" -Goblin King

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Well if you have trouble here do like always and save it for
free play.

No Super Move: Well if you wanna do it the hard way then you can.

Gold time: Complete the level in 130 seconds. Actually this is quite easy.

Silver time: Beat the level in 200 seconds. (Gold time gets this if you get that)

Lego Minikit: In a box on the back right.

The Biter: Defeat 15 goblins as Thorin. Not hard really. Thorin is good against
the goblin king anyway.

Bad breath: Watch out for Goblin King's bad breath. Well just avoid it anyways.

Gameplay: Heeeeeeeee's back and boy is he pissed. Boss fight against the goblin
king. He also has minions good for "The Biter" Accomplishment. Watch out when he
swings his club. Keep it up and he'll fall.

Now you're back in goblin town yet again. Head right. Back to Bilbo and follow
them from below. Everyone is happy to see Bilbo. Even Thorin. Build the next thing
with the collected gold bricks and onto the next part.
4Q. To the Trees

" Up into the trees all of you" -Gandalf

Finisher: Finish the level.

Stud collect challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Lego Minkit: Just as you start the level there's a pile of rocks.

Locate the region map: Just as you jump up the rocks go right and smash the rocks.

Out of the Frying pan: Place the frying pan over the campfire. The pan is in a
diggable spot. The campfire is up past it a ways.

Gameplay: Okay wargs are after us. Our only hope is the trees. Run. First beat
some wargs then after 1 crashes into a tree beat it and build the leftovers into a
handle. Pull the handle. Go in the door. Smash that tree down as Dwalin. Use
Gandalf to move the rock. Move up and onward. Use Thorin to chop the next tree
down. Head up. Smash the ladder pieces and build them. Head up again and use Dori
to swing across. Jump up some handles and shoot the tagret. Head through the small
door and have Gandalf touch the bird. That ends the level.

Back in the forest Gandalf and the gang are trapped. Time to take on Azog again
this time Thorin is older.
4R. The Return of Azog

" Can you smell it? Fear" -Azog

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: You know what to do.

No Super Move: If you do this you can't do " Four in One"

Gold Time: Beat the level in 100 seconds 

Silver time: Beat the level in 130 seconds (Gold gets this as if you didn't know)

Four in One: If your trying the no super-move don't do this till later.

Gameplay: Jeez does this guy ever quit? Anyway you fight Azog again this time as
older Thorin. Just fight him and the wargs. After he takes a few hits he'll get
off his warg and fight you. Watch out for that spin of his like last time. Do
enough damage and he's done.

Birds will save you. As you may have guessed it this ends "An Unexpected Journey"
since there are 36 levels (minus the extra ones) and my guess would be there's 18
per movie part. Besides I remember the next part being in the next movie anyways.
Let's move onto " The Desolation of Smaug" now.
4S. The Legend of Beorn

" He will help us or he will kill  us" -Gandalf

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

 Collect Resources: The first is after the beorn bear chase, same as the second,
The last is before the hill.

Lego minikit: On a fallen tree past the campfire you build.

Jump Hurdles: They are scattered around the are where Beorn's bear form will chase
you.

Fast food: The first is burried after the bear chase, second past the fallen tree.
This is really tough to get. Stay as far to the left as you can but not too far so
you won't miss it. Its on the slope.

Gameplay: Oh snap. That bear does not seem friendly. RUN! You're safe after you
come to a log since it'll break under his immense weight. Take a breather here and
grab some studs if you want. Once you've caught your breath you'll notice a wall
with some sort of strange panel. Use Oin and play the minigame here to open it.
Remember that "Precious" thing we got. Its a ring that makes us invisible and
makes things invisible visible. Use it as Bilbo to get a handle and get the other
from the minigame door. Climb up. Dig and break to get firewood. light the
campfire when you get them all there. Break, build, lift, place and use magic here
to create a pow point. Use Dwalin. Now slide down the hill.

Now your in Beorn's Homestead. Get to the house on the right.
4T. Beorn's Homestead

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the Level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Apiary Assassin: Destroy 3 beehives without getting stung. Use a long range attack.

Gameplay: We're not safe yet. That bear is still after us. Shoot the target. That
drops a key but a squirrel gets it. (Why does wildlife hate them so much? Urgh!)
Go after it. He'll first go to a stump. Use Gandalf's magic on the axe. He'll run
to a tree with a beehive. Build a slingshot panel and use the slingshot. He'll run
to the rooftops. (Get back here you) Get on top of there and chase him to a
weathervane. Use Dori and finally he'll drop the key. Pick it up and head down and
unlock the door.

Did I mention the bear is a Skin Changer? Oh yeah I didn't and neither did
Gandalf. Well now you know. You'll actually move automatically after the cutscene.
Build another gold brick build. This next path is tricky. If you see an elf
playing a harp don't go that way or you'll run in a circle. Keep going the other
way. Anyways here's another resources build. If you don't have the supplies go to
Rivendell to buy more. But you should. Build it. Now once you get out of the maze
your in the next part. Don't worry it stays this way now. You won't have to do the
maze again.
4U. Mirkwood

Story Accomplishments:

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Locate region map: Almost towards the end is a treasure chest. You'll need to
complete the "Float like a butterfly" Accomplishment to get this.

Float like a butterfly: The first is next to your first party member you save, the
second is when you switch to Dori, The third is right where you used the slingshot
rock. The last is after you free the 2 party members and swing across.

Gameplay: SPIDERS! Oh man. Creepy crawly spiders. And big ones. Anyway you start
off as Bilbo. Grab the rock and sling it at the spider. Hit it with your sword.
Now Bilbo names his sword thanks to the help of a spider. Cut a party member free.
Now use the ring and build that handle. Now you'll switch to another party member
that's wrapped in webbing. Press A to get loose. Use Dori to pull the spider and
your party member down. Head towards Bilbo and pull that handle. Free another
party member. Build the turnstile and turn it then bring the plate to the rock and
turn it again. Now use the slingshot to bring 2 more party members down cut them
free. Build the panel. Swing across. Use the ring again and build a door. Head up
and free the last party member. You've completed the...... "My precious". A spider
knocks the ring out of Bilbo's hand.

Move down to find the ring.
4V. Bilbo and the Ring

" Where is it?" Bilbo

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the Level

Without a scratch: If you follow my strategy in the gameplay this is a cinch.

Gold Time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Silver Time: Complete the level in 180 seconds (Gold gets this)

Prevent Hatchlings: This is simple too. Again follow my guide.

Prevent centipede spits: Easy. Look down in gameplay

Avoid Goo: Read gameplay part.

Gameplay: Well you're probably wondering why most of the accomplishments on top
say read this. Simple actually. Just use long range attacks and don't aim just let
it do the work. This boss battle is a cinch. Kill hatchlings, hit the centipede.
Rinse and repeat. Watch out for spits when he's hiding and watch out for him too.

Your back with the party. They are in a fix.
4W. The Spawn of Dol Guldur

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: As always if this seems too tough leave till later. 

No Super Move: This is easy. I didn't even need to use them.

Gold Time: Beat the level in 190 seconds

Silver time:  Beat the level in 240 seconds (Gold time gets this)

Avoid web patches: For this just watch out for where they land.

Gameplay: Another boss battle. This time with the spiders. Kill the underlings and
kill the main spider. Then another will come and you must fight more spiders. Kill
another main 1. Legolas will join your party. Shoot the webs to free the dwarves.
Dig up the firewood and burn those webs down and kill the last main spider.

Your back in Mirkwood. Just move to another gold brick build and build it. Welcome
to Thrandruil's Kingdom.
4X. Bilbo's Escape Plan

" We're never gonna reach the mountain are we?" -Ori

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Find Treasure item: Its behind the wall in the beginning right next to a box.

Bottle Smasher: The first is in the back where you start, the next is near where
you smash a box for another barrel, the last is behind the barrels.

Gameplay: Its time to get out. First shoot the targets and pull the lever. Now
shoot the target on the barrel. Grab the pow point part and bring it over to the
left. Use Dwalin to smash the box. Take the handle to the turnstile. Now comes a
tricky part. First turn the turnstile then use Dori to pull the handle in the box.
Pick up the piece and take it up the stairs. Build the rest of the shaft for the
water to trickle down. Build the ladder and head up. Build the push panels. Take
the handle to the lever and pull it. That ends the level.

You're back in Tranduil's Kingdom this time as Legolas. Move left.
4Y. The Elven Gate

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Like other levels if this is hard wait till later

Gold time: Beat the level in 100 seconds

Silver Time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Gatecrasher: Get beyond the gate in 40 seconds

Gameplay: Time to kae it down the river. 1 party member jumps out of the barrel.
Kill enemies and move on. Be quick if you want gold time and Gatecrasher. Move on
after getting the turnstile lever and use it. Move onward and upward and get
another turnstile lever, this time use it on a crossbow. Move on. Pull the lever.
You'll finish the level.

Your back in Thranduil's Kingdom. Move on to the right.
4Z. Mirkwood River

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Again save till later if your having trouble

Gold Time: Complete the level in 90 seconds

Silver time: Complete the level in 130 seconds

Find the Red Brick: Its right next to the tree you knock down. Its under a rock. 

Barrel Role: Reach the first river before the barrels. You have to be quick.

Gameplay: Now you need to move down to the river with Legolas. Keep moving and
killing enemies. If your doing barrel role make it past the poles and up to the
blockage in the river before the barrels get there. After you jump on the dwarves
heads you'll move to a dwarf. Go to the tree and break it down. Use the dwarf to
break the pound spot you create to finish the level.

You'll make it to lake-town and meet bard. Build another gold brick build. Move to
the new level.
4AA. The Armory

"You won't find better weapons except in the armory." -Bard

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Gold time: Beat the level in 160 seconds

Gameplay: Time to get some better weapons. First find that turnstile lever. Get
inside by turning the turnstile and heading up into the window. Break some boxes
to get a panel. Play the minigame and get the first weapon. Use it to pull the
handle. Break the boxes inside to get another weapon. Use the hammer on the pow
point to get a tunrstile handle and take it to the catapult to use it to get to
the top part. Pick the handle up and pull the levers on both sides. Ge the next
weapon. Use the bow on the targets to get the next weapon. Use the slingshot to
get the last weapon and use the Thorin switch then pull the lever and use Thorin
to open the door and exit the level.
4BB. Kingsfoil

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Gameplay: Time to find that healing herb for our friend. Just head right and use
the turnstile. Dig up dig piles till you find the Kingsfoil. Argh. Stupid pig.
Bring that back. Folow that pig past the people. That pesky pig is causing more
trouble. Head right. Get some firewood. Burn down the fence. Play the minigame
here to open that door and.... Argh. GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID PIG! Okay go to
where the pig is and dig up the dig spot. Get the turnstile and put it on the
turnstile itself and turn it. Grab the pig and keep pressing A till you get the
Kingsfoil back. I'll take that pig thank you very much. That ends the level.

Move to the next panel.
4CC. Bolg

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a Scratch: Like always leave this to later if its hard. 

No super moves: Heh too easy.

Gold time: Beat the level in 130 seconds

Silver time:  Beat the level in 180 seconds

Gameplay: More orcs. This just keeps getting better and better. (Sarcasm is my
favorite thing) Start by battling orcs and wargs but be quick if you want gold
time. Build the turnstile and turn it to bring a boat over. Hop up the handles.
Keep moving. More orcs. If you want to just get past them and break the barrels
and ride the 1 that falls into the water. Move onto the boat and up the handles.
Now fight the orc commander. Watch out when he spins. This ends the level.

You move to Gandalf and Radagast. Move left.
4DD. The High Fells Tomb

" This is not a nice place to meet" -Radagast

" No its not"

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Gameplay: Well its time to see what that spirit was talking about. Start by
healing the rabbit and grabbing some bones. Build them and the cage will lower.
Head left. Move the axe to the tree. Use either wizard to move the staircase.
Smash the super move spot and head in. Heal another animal. Build the statue
pieces and turn the turnstiles till the light hits the 1 in back. Head down. Head
up the stairs on the left and hit the stalagmite. Use magic to move the statue
onto the left panel. Move right onto the other panel. Now use Gandalf (For some
reason Radagast can't do this) to break the super move panel. Move into the next
room. Use Gandalf to go down. Now move forward and exit.

Now you'll move again. Move to the right and build the gold brick build.
4EE. Dol Guldur

" It looks completely abandoned" -Radagast

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 30,000 studs (If you can't find enough just wait
till later)

locate region map: Its near the broken staircase on the bottom right of the last room.

Heal the animals: These are found where I told you in the gameplay section.

Gameplay: Move forward. Use the super move panel and move the vines with fire.
Move on and use the super move spot. Heal the rabbits. Go up and turn the
turnstile. Move into the last room. There's darkness in the back. You must get rid
of it. Go right and build a super move panel. Use it. Heal the rabbit. Head left
and use another super move panel. Heal another rabbit. Break the cage after
shooting a target and build a ladder out of bones. Go right and move another
panel. Use super move panel. Heal another rabbit. Pull a lever. Head up the ladder
you created before and pull the lever. Now use the last super move panel. Build
the last statue. That will rid the darkness. Go through and end the level.

Back in Dol Guldur go right. 
4FF. Commander of Legions

" Where is your master?" -Gandalf

" He is everywhere" -Azog

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: Just like always if this seems too tough just wait till later.

Four in one: Defeat 4 enemies with 1 super move. Easy just wait till 4 are near you. 

Gold time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Silver time:  Complete the level in 180 seconds

Gameplay: Boss time. Good golly Azog will you quit already? Anyway nothing new.
Just hit him and watch out for his attacks. Then he'll summon 4 wargs. This is a
great time for "4-in-one". Now make a catapult and hit Azog from atop. Then he'll
jump down. Fight him some more. Watch out he'll slam the ground. He'll retreat
again after awhile. Heal a bird and it'll peck the wood that holds the pillar up.
Now he'll spin. Just wait till he's dizzy and hit him. Now that ends the level.
4GG. The Enemy

" Sauron" -Gandalf

" You're too late wizard" -Azog

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Without a scratch: You know the drill by now

No Super Moves: This and 4 in one can't be done at 1 time

Gold time: Beat the level in 100 seconds

Silver Time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Off you go: Knock 3 orcs off the ledge. So easy and funny :P.

Gameplay: Battle time. And what's that black cloud back there? Guess we'll find
out. With each legion you'll face the black cloud. Button mash like heck.

Okay now back to Bilbo and the dwarves for 1 last time. Move forward. Oh hey by
the way if you want you can use the resources panel to create a way back to Erebor
in the past. For now move on and build another gold brick build. Move up the
mountain to the next level.
4HH. Durin's Day

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs 

Step climber: Reach the highest point in 130 seconds. Just try your best. Its
quite challenging. Do it later if you want.

Lego Minikit: Right as you reach the very top there will be a rock up some jump
panels.

Gameplay: So here we are on Durin's Day trying to get into Smaug's Lair. Move
forward fast if you want to complete "Step Climber". Break rocks and stuff to find
firewood and light the campfire. Move forward. Build and smash the pow point. Move
into the door. Hit the panels till they match the color on top of them. Move
upward. Now comes the irritating part. Push the rock. Be quick because the rock
will move back again. Jump up and back down to the other rock and push it and go
all the way up. Now swing across. Switch to Thorin and smash the rock for the
turnstile handle. Take it to the turnstile and turn the dwarf switch. This is
timed again so be quick and turn the turnstile there. Run and break the boulder to
get the stuff to build the lever. Pull it and that ends the level.

Okay now we're in Smaug's lair. Now its time to go into it.
4II.Smaug's Lair

" What are you" -Smaug

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Collect Resources: The first is as you start, the second is after the slide with
the chandelier, the last is at the part before you go to the last slide.

Lego Minkit: After the second silde with the chandelier.

Pot fountains: The first is after sliding past the Arkenstone, The second is after
the slide with the chandelier, the last past the final slide before you get the
Arkenstone.

Gameplay: Well here he is. Smaug. All in his glory. Just wow. Anyway he'll try to
figure out what Bilbo is doing there. Just move on. He really can't do anything
right now. Ah the Arkenstone..... Oh man. Doggonit Smaug. Slide and move on and
hit the slingshot target. More sliding. Smash a pot to get the turnstile handle
and turn the handle. Move upward. Build the wall and move behind it. Get the
Arkenstone to finish the level.

Now time to go face Smaug and finish the game (For now). First let's get that
resources spot done. Then its off to the last level.
4JJ. Thorin's Revenge

" Come on you worm" -Thorin

Story Accomplishments:

Finisher: Finish the level

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 10,000 studs

Collect resources: The first is at the beginning, the second is next to the second
belows, The final is past the part where you use the belows.

Lego Minikit: Right where you pour water on Smaug its behind a wall.

Red Brick: Its where you pour water on Smaug. After turning the Water Wheel once
for the minecart pieces pull it again.

Let's Race: Just beat the minecart part in 21 seconds. Easy stuff here.

Brazier Bash: The first is in the beginning, the second is at the second belows,
the third is next to where you throw water on Smaug, the fourth on the right side.

Gameplay: So you're thinking "Yay we get to fight Smaug" right? Wrong. Sorry guys
this isn't a boss battle. Anyways lets do this. Go to the second bellows (The
first can only be activated by Gandalf so let's leave that 1 alone) and break
stuff and use Thorin to build the stuff. Pick up the lever and place it and pull
it down. Use Bilbo's Ring to find a handle and throw it. Now get up and pull the
handle to throw water on Smaug. Now pull that water wheel once and build that
minecart. Get that minecart moving. Mash that A button. Congratulations you just
beat the final level of " Lego The Hobbit" (For now).

Now you'll notice 1 last gold brick build spot. Guess what? To unlock this you
need 375 gold bricks. But hey we have at least half of them by now. So are you
guys ready for free play? Well I'm going to give some pointers on what you'll need
for it.
5. Free Play

Time for Free Play. Won't section it off into movie parts. There's some stuff you
may want before you go on. Gollum, Beorn and Beorn Bear are characters you'll want
to unlock. Also if you have the times stuff it'll help with getting those
expensive characters (Especially Gollum. He costs 2,000,000 studs). Also
invincibility which will help with those hard "Without a Scratch" accomplishments.
5A. Mines of Erebor

Lego Kit: You'll see a rock. Its a passage. Use Gollum to go through.

Find Treasure item: This 1 is tricky. You may need the "Collectable finder" red brick.

Locate Region Map: Behind the Beorn Bear rock.

Refill the forge: Past the Gollum rock is a small door. Go through it and turn the
turnstiles on each forge.

A helping hand: Just as your about to exit the level there will be a dwarf
working. Above his cart is a target. Shoot it.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges for this level. Character unlocked: Thror.
5B. The Coming of Smaug

Lego Minikit: To the left is a minikit but when you use Dwalin a pillar will block
it. Use Bilbo with the ring. Build the pow point and kock that pillar out of the way.

Find Treasure item: Use Fili to dig up the shield.

To arms: Fire an arrow at the target near the door where Smaug rears his ugly head.

Better safe than sorry: 2 barriers are out in the open. One is in a box though.
The third you must be invisible so use Bilbo with the ring.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Thror (Armor)
5C. The Sickness of Thror

Collect Resources: The first is at the Gollum Wall (Refer to the gameplay section
if you want the reason this and the other would be here), the second is after
Smaug's tail first appearance, the last is in the gold chase. Three pots at the
end the third on the right.

Lego Minikit: Use Gollum to climb the wall.

Find Treasure item: Its in the gold chase. You have to be quick and I mean quick.

Red Brick: There's a dark cave in the back at the beginning. Use Gandalf or Radagast.

Pot Bash: The first is at the beginning, the second is on the way to the pillar,
The third is right before the second tail part,the fourth is right before the gold
chase, the last is during the gold chase.

Pillar Smash: This time instead of whacking his tail let's smash it with a pillar
(Heh heh). Use an elf to shoot the target on the pillar. 

Completionist: Complete all the challenges in the level. Character unlocked: Balin
(Young)
5D. Bag End

Collect Resources: The first is in the hallway, second in the room with the lego
kit, The last is in the living room.

Find Treasure Item: Using a wizard pull the key down and take it to the treasure
chest.

Lego Kit: Use either Bilbo with the ring (If the ring icon doesn't show that means
that Bilbo won't have it) or Gollum and build the pull handle. 

Locate the Region Map: Same room as the lego kit.

Red Brick: In the same area as the Lego kit.

What Bilbo Likes: Just make sure you catch the dishes if you didn't before in
gameplay.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character unlocked: Frodo
5E. The Battle of Moria

Without a Scratch: Easier with Invincibility on

Lego Minkit: At the beginning is a dig spot. Dig it up.

Defeat all enemies: Some are in the background. 

Gold time: Beat the level in 160 seconds

Dwarven rescue: The first is in a pile of rocks pull him out with Dori, the second
is hanging of the side use Gandalf, the last is right before the last barrier.

Bullseye: Take out all the archers. This helps with the defeat all enemies.

Lights out: There are 10 torches in all. They are all in different parts, not hard
to find.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character unlocked: Thrain (Armor)
5F. Azog the Defiler

Without a Scratch: Best done with Invincibilty on

Lego Minikit: Its up the Gollum wall but first use the ballista because there's an
enemy up there so Gollum will probably keep jumping off. Break the rocks there.

Friendly fire: Defeat 5 orcs as Azog

Ready aim fire: Fire the Ballista.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Unlockable Character: Thrain 
5G. The Moutnain Trolls

Collect Resources: The first is in the junk, the second is up past the Gollum
rock, The last is in the horse fence.

Lego Minikit: Once you get through the small door use magic on the beehive and
break it. There's the minikit.

Locate Region Map: Go through the Gollum passage. (Remember its a rock)

Catch three fish: The jetty is on the side. Clean the river first though so the
fish can come through.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Thorin (Pants Unarmed)
5H. Troll Battle

Without a scratch: You know the drill.

Gold time: Beat the level in 150 seconds

Lego Minikit: After Tom leaves his area carefully go to where he was (Make sure
he's busy) Use Beorn Bear to break the rock.

Sprinkle of sage: There are 3 leaves and 3 pots around the battle arena. Put each
leaf in there.

Rock and Troll: Make Tom hit Bert with a rock.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Ori (Pants) 
5I. The Dawn

Find Treasure item: You'll notice the troll goo back behind a fence. Use Azog
(What'd I tell ya huh?)

Lego Minikit: Where you found the last caged chickens there is a Beorn Bear rock.

Onion Fest seasoning: Create seasoning with only onions.

Rescue Chickens: One is behind a fence, the second is near the river, the last is
behind another fence.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Ori (Lake Town)
5J. Troll Hoard

Collect Resources: First as you begin in the back of the cave, the second is in
the junk pile room, third is in the same place.

Find Treasure Item: Jump down from the red brick place and its right next to a
skeleton.

Lego Minkit: In some boxes in the junk pile room.

Red Brick: Use the Elf wall and its over on the other side.

Long Term Deposit: The first panel is after the first treasure chest, The second
is in the junk pile room. Go into the small door after walking up the Gollum wall.

Hidden Gems: Up the Gollum wall in the junk pile room.

Cage Cracker: The first is at the beginning, the second you knock down as Dori,
You'll knock the last one when you use the elf wall.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Bilbo (Red, No Ring)
5K. Gundabad Wargs

Without a scratch: Easier with invincibilty

Lego Minikit: Up on the elf jump panel.

Addles his brain: The first is on the right under a mushroom, same as second, 
third is to the left of those 2. (Radagast can only pick these up)

Spider sniper: 1 is near a dark cave, second is near the Thorin panel, the third
is up a elf jump panel.

Rabbit Fuel: The first is in a dig spot on the bottom, The second up an elf jump
panel.

Beorn Survivor: Defeat five wargs with Beorn

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Unlockable Character: Oin (Lake-town)
5L. The Hidden Valley

Find Treasure Item: After scaring the warg there's a Beorn Bear rock.

Feathers Fixed: After scaring the warg there will be a bird past the wall.

Completionist: Complete the challenges. Character unlocked: Thorin (Orcrist)
5M. The Thunder Battle

Find treasure item: Blast a wall past the part where you use Dori with a wizard.

Lego Kit: Use Legolas to put an arrow into the pole on the right and swing to the
minikit. (Or any elf with a bow)

Locate Region Map: Up the Gollum wall.

Red Brick: Beorn Bear rock past the part where you use Dori.

Hasty Ascent: Climb the giant in 45 seconds (If you haven't done this in gameplay
just keep trying)

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Yazneg.
5N. Goblin Town

Without a scratch: You know the drill

Gold time: Beat the level in 200 seconds (If you haven't done this in gameplay try
now)

Silver Time: Beat the level in 220 seconds (Same as gold)

Cut the ropes: There are five towers. Cut the ropes holding them up. There's 1 at
the end of the walkway in the first part, the second is at the beginning of the
second part. Just cut all the ropes holding these towers up.

Shoot the messenger: Just shoot him while in control of Gandalf

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Nori (Lake-town)
5O. Riddles in the Dark

Collect Resources: The first is right next to the first riddle. The second in the
second room, the last right next to the second riddle answer.

Find Treasure item: You'll see a jetty right before the second riddle.

Lego Minikit: Up the ladder.

Locate Region Map: Where you find the answer to Bilbo's first riddle.

Yellow his teeth: The first mushroom is under a mushroom in the first room, the
second in the second room, last near a jetty.

We only has nine: Use Gollum. This is a riddle given to him by Bilbo. Go left and
climb the first Gollum wall. Its teeth.

Wet and Crunchy: Same as "We only has nine". Use Beorn to break the rock. Climb up
the wall and build the nest. Grab the egg that is on it.

Completionist: Complete the challenges. Character Unlocked: Bilbo (Red)
5P. The Goblin King

Without a Scratch: You know the drill by now

Gold time: Beat the level in 130 seconds

Home wrecker: There are 4 braziers around the arena. Break them.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Kili (Lake Town)
5Q. To the Trees

Collect Resources: As you begin there's 2 of them. last past the tree you climb.

Find Treasure Item: This is on the lower left as you begin.

Red Brick: Before you head up the last tree go behind it and clinb that tree.

Scare 3 birds: There's 1 after you climb the first tree, second past the rock you
jump up on, One right below the rocks.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Fili (Lake-town) 
5R. The Return of Azog

Without a scratch: You know what to do

Lego Minikit: In the cave

Cave Explorer: Use Beorn Bear to break open the wall and go in.

Defeat 4 wargs: Defeat 4 wargs as Legolas 

Four in one: Defeat 4 enemies with 1 super move. You can actually do this and the
Legolas 1 in 1 go.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Unlockable Character: Gloin (Lake Town)

5S. The Legend of Beorn

Fast Food: First is where you have to use the handles to climb up, second past the
tree, third on the slide to go out of the level. Make sure you don't miss it. If
you do you'll have to come back into the level.

Red Brick: You'll notice a jetty after the bear chase. Fish it out.

Waterfall secret: You'll notice an elf pole place. Shoot an arrow there and jump up.

Scare Squirrel: There's a tree at the end with Beorn Bear's face. Use it to scare
the squirrel out.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Unlockable Character: Dwalin (Pants Unarmed)
5T. Beorn's Homestead

Collect Resources: First 2 are out on the main area, Third is in the fence with
the horse.

Lego Kit: In the fence. Dig it up.

Find Treasure Item: Up a tree. Climb up the Gollum Wall.

Locate Region Map: There's a jetty on the left.

Weed Whacker: The first 2 are outside the fence. The last patch is in the fence.

Horsepital: There's an elf pole. Shoot an arrow in it. Go over the fence and heal
the horse.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Dwalin (Lake-town)
5U. Mirkwood

Collect Resources: 1 is when you swithc to Dori, the second is up an elf jump
panel. The third is past the first small door.

Free Cocooned dwarves: Just save the 2 dwarves before you make a giant spider come
down. 

Avoid web patches: Just watch out for those web patches. If the webs hit you your
fine.

5W. Bilbo and the Ring

Lego Mini KIt: After he hits 3 rocks and you kill enough of his offspring he'll
drop a minikit.

Gold time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Discover Purple Studs: Their hidden just look around. Pretty simple though. There
are 3 rocks. Just use Gandalf and make that centipede hit them.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Thrandull.
5X. Bilbo's Escape Plan

Collect Resources: The first is right next to the barrels, the second is left from
the first, the third is up the ladder.

Lego Kit: There's a jetty where you found the mouse.

Locate Region Map: Its behind the minigame door.

Spring Cleaner: The first web is on the left, the second is behind the minigame
door, third is up the ladder.

Caught in a trap: You'll notice a mousetrap. Lift it up with either Gandalf or
Radagast. Heal the mouse.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Thorin (Pants)
5Y. The Elven Gate

Locate Region Map: There's a jetty near the beginning.

Warrior: Defeat all enemies in the level

Lego Minikit: After the ballista when you go to get the handle break the pillar
open with Thorin. Now dig up the spot.

Tree surgeon: Destroy 12 shrubs. Their around the level. Not hard to find.

5AA. The Armory

Collect Resources:These are in the armory. The first is on the floor in a box, the
second is on the second floor in another box, the last is in a box where you exit.

Lego Kit: There's a jetty at the beginning

Find Treausre Item: Its on the boat you pull over.

Locate Region Map: On the second floor inside. Use Gandalf to pull it down.

Barrel Smasher: 4 on the right, 2 on the left, 1 is on a dock, use the boat you
pull over to get to a point you can shoot it. At the end of the level jump down to
the ledge. There's 1 there.

Rock the Boat: Pull the boat over with Dori.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Alfrid.
5BB. Kingsfoil

Collect Resources: The first is where the red brick is, the second is halfway to
tackling the pig, the last is where you find the Lego Minkit.

Lego Minikit: Once you've pulled a boat over, jump across the elf poles and then
find the handle and throw it to the handle place on the left. Jump up and shoot
the target on the barrel.

Find Treasure Item: There's a crane and a Thorin switch where you jump over as
Legolas. Use the Thorin switch to bring the crane hook up.

Red Brick: You'll see a Thorin panel right where you saw the minigame panel. Jump
over.

Fishmonger: You'll find 4 jetties. Fish out of each and bring them back to the
Fishmonger.

Flagship: The first is at the beginning, The second is where you find the piece of
wood, the third is where you have to tackle the pig, the fourth is on a boat where
you can use Legolas to jump over to,

A Stone's throw: You need to find 3 stones and throw them at 3 fish nets. The
first is on the right, The second is on a crane, the third is on a ship. All the
nets are right next to the stone so their not very hard to find.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Bain
5CC. Bolg

Without a scratch: You know the drill.

Lego Minikit: There's ajetty as you begin.

Heal Fish: Same place with the tub bash the rock and heal the fish.

Fisherman's friend: The fisherman is on the second dock. Pull him over as Dori.
the second is on the boat where you go higher to get to the boss, build the barrel
for him. the last is on the dock where you fight Bolg us Gandalf to bring the
anvil over.

Better down where its wetter: There's a fish in a tub at the beginning, enter the
small door and there's another tub with a fish in it, the last is on the second dock.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Unlockable Character: Bard the Bowman.
5DD. The High Fells Tomb

Collect Resources: The first is in a pot up the stairs, the second is in another
pot in the second tomb room, The last is after the super move point in a pot.

Lego Minikit: Climb up the Gollum wall.

Find Treasure Item: Go through the small door in the last room. Its in a chest.

Locate Region Map: As you begin there will be a pow point.

Red Brick: As you ascend the second stairs there will be a couple of elf poles
with 1 missing. Shoot an arrow in it and jump across to get this.

Scare Spiders: The first 3 are in the tombs, the second group is in a casket, use
Radagast or Gandalf to open it. The third group is in the last room, hit it with
Gandalf's magic.

Bone Shatterer: The first as you enter the tombs, the second is in a casket, the
third is in a casket in the second room, The fourth is in a casket above the room
in the second tomb room, use Radagast or Gandalf to knock it down. The last is
right before the exit.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Thorin (Lake-town)
5EE. Dol Guldur

Stud Collect Challenge: Collect 40,000 studs

Collect Resources: First in the first room, second in the last room, same with the
third.

Find Treasure Item: Up the bone ladder is a Beorn Bear wall.

Lego Kit: Use Thorin to jump to a high ledge and the use Gandalf to break the
super move panel. Break the statue as Thorin.

Red Brick: After bringing the statue in the middle up use a lake town character to
fish it out.

Old Souls: There's 2 skeletons at the beginning, 3 more in the first room, 3 in
the last, Where you found the Minikit.

Completionist: Complete all challenges. Character Unlocked: Dori (Lake town)
5FF. Commander of Legions

Without a scratch: You know the drill

Gold time: Beat the level in 140 seconds

Lego Minikit: Use the Thorin panel and go through the small door.

A Thorin in my side: Kill 7 enemies with Thorin

Hang in there: Heal all animals. There's four in the level. One is on an elf pole
so knock it down. The other 2 are high up and the last Azog knocks down.

Relight my fire: There's 6 torches around the level. Just use Gandalf to relight
them all.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Unlockable Character: Witch-king.
5GG. The enemy

Without a scratch: You know the drill.

No super move: Pretty easy now.

Gold time: Complete the level in 100 seconds

Lego Minikit: There's a Thorin rock in the back break it.

Off you go: Knock 3 orcs off the side.

Beorn the great: Defeat all orcs as Beorn.

Still not enough: Defeat 4 enemies with 1 super move.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Azog (Hand)
5HH. Durin's Day

Collect Resources: The first is through a small door, the second is at the end
where you use a super move to break a panel. (Yeah there's onl 2 of them)

Step Climber: Reach the highest point of Erebor in 130 seconds. (If you didn't
before now's your chance)

Locate Region Map: When you reach the top use a super move to break the panel.

Red Brick: Go up the Gollum wall and go through the Gollum passage.

Bat Man: There are boards that board up caves. One is right by the part going up
towards the end, the second is where you go up the jump panels, the third is where
you climbed to use the slingshot panels.

Anti-plantation: The first plant is at the beginning where the first piece of wood
is, the second is past the jump part, the third is after you lower the barrier and
go forward, the fourth is down a bit, the last is as you get ready to leave the level.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Dwalin (Armor)
5II. Smaug's Lair

Find treasure item: There's a dig spot. Dig it up.

Locate Region map: On the last slide keep to the right.

Funny bones: The first is after the slide, the second is after the second slide,
the third before the wall you move.

Pot bash: The first is after the slide, the second before the wall you move, the
third is on the last slide.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Character Unlocked: Saurman.
5JJ. Thorin's Revenge

Bellowing: Remember that other bellow from gameplay? Now use it and the other bellow.

Find treasure item: Use Radagast to heal the bird and it'll knock a barrel off to
cool the lava off. There's that item.

Completionist: Complete all the challenges. Unlockable Character: Ringwraith.
6. Middle Earth Free Play

Here we are at the middle earth free play. Every place in middle earth will be
covered. Each mission as well.
6A. Erebor

The only thing to do here is unlock the last gold brick build.
6B. The Shire

Resources: From bag end go left there will be 2 treasure chests with some resources.

Miner's hat mission: There will be a dwarf asking for the miner's hat on the
right. Its in the Mines of Erebor.

Build mission: Buy a darven statue and build it for the hobbit on the right.

Tea Hat mission: A lady has lent her tea hat to Bilbo. Go to Bag's end and find it.

Resources panel: 155 resources required: 90 wood, 45 copper, 20 sapphire.

Chicken hat: This lady will ask for a chicken hat. Its in Beorn's Homestead. Go
get it.

Shop: From Bag end go down and left. There will be a shop. This is the characters,
hints, secrets and stories shop if your here and don't want to travel to Rivendell
to buy them.

Resources: To the left of the Chicken hat mission is a couple of treasures.

Resources Panel: From Bree go left. Resources: 10 stones, 10 silver, 10 wood. This
is a shortcut back to the shire

Resources Panel: From the last panel go down. Resources:  90 wood, 45 iron, 20 rubies.

Resources: 2 mirthril and a book are inside.

Resources: Make sure you have the region map unlocked. This will unlock this
panel. Go from the miner's hat mission and there it is.
6C. Bree

Orc slaying mission: From the start there will be a hobbit that will ask you to
slay orcs on weathertop. Come back when you've done so.

Shop: From where you found resources go up.

Resources: Left from the enterance are treasure chests.

King's Throne mission: On the right is a hobbit that will ask to build a throne.
Buy it. 

Resources panel: Down from the King's Throne is this. 155 resources: 90 wood, 45
silver, 20 emerald

Morgul blade mission: Its in Dol Guldur.

Battle Area: Cardolan Conflict. (See the Battle levels section for info)

Archeaologist's pick mission: Go up from the start. Just find the pick in a level.

Windmill mission: Go right and up from the troll statues. Build this hobbit a
windmill so her kids won't be scared.

Resources panel: From the windmill mission go down. Keep going till you see this.

Apron mission: This troll asks for her apron. Find it.

Resources: From the mom troll go left. It has resources and a book.
6F. Rivendell

Potayto mission: Down from the start is an elf. He asks for a potato (Although he
spells it wrong). This can be found in Legend of Beorn.

Shop 1: On the left of the potato mission is the shop for secrets, hints characters.

Shop 2: On the right of the potato mission is a shop for red bricks, buildables,
extra builds and resources. Come here if you need resources.

Mirkwood phial mission: From the left of the start is an elf who asks you to get
her a Mirkwood phial. Its in Mirkwood of course.

Resources panel: From the left of the mirkwood phial mission. Resources: 90
stones, 45 silver, 20 emeralds.

Mirkwood pillar mission: This elf misses her home in Mirkwood. Build her a
Mirkwood pillar.

Ring mission: This guy wants a ring. Bring it back to him from Moria.

Resources Panel: From the right of the Mirkwood Phial mission. 90 stones, 45 iron,
20 sapphire.

Resources: There's 2 treasure chests with 2 mirthril.

Region map panel: Here you can use the region maps you obtained to find secret
panels in areas you've been to.

These levels are just battle levels with 1 gold brick for beating them. Each has 3

This has Orcs. A ton of them. 3 waves of them. Be careful of the catapults.
They'll toss you out of the level. This also has an item. The last has a warg.
7B. Breaking Camp

Breaking Camp: Orcs. How I hate them. Just fight the waves of them. For the ones
on the towers break the towers.

These guys just keep coming back for more. Battle 3 waves.

After getting 375 gold bricks. There's 360 gold bricks for story. 10 bricks for 36
story levels. And 15 gold bricks for battle levels. 1 for each battle level.
