I. Game Features

A. IMF Team

1. Ethan Hunt - One of the IMF's most reliable agents. Highest success rate
                in the agency.Numerous skills make him first choice for any 
                mission.

2. Jim Phelps - Leader of IMF team. Stationed in a submarine positioned off 
                the coast. Will follow all operations by means of satellite 
                video and be in constant radio contact with the team.

3. Andrew Dowey - Ex - marine colonel, one of the finest triggers in the 
                  agency. An inestimable ally for his electronics skills 
                  and knowledge of alarm systems.

4. John Clutter - Professional mountain climber and cold weather enthusiast.
                  Specialized in radio systems and explosives. Participated 
                  in the successful Arctic Shield mission in the North Pole.

5. Dieter Harmon - Schooled in several East European countries. Son of a 
                   traveling caviar salesman. Functions as bartender with 
                   high access to parties and social events. Valuable 
                   information source.

6. Sarah Davies - Four years living in Prague. Infiltrated native high
                  society. Invaluable for local intelligence. 


7. Robert Barnes - Ultra-reliable, high risk operative. Seemingly intercepted
                   attempting to rescue Candice Parker.  

8. Candice Parker - Top cryptology expert. Former MIT researcher. Excellent
                    support agent in missions involving computer security. 

9. Jack Kiefer - Organizational expert, specializing in smooth getaways.
                 Impeccable timing. Always counted on to get us home safely.

10. Kieger - Skilled CIA agent disavowed for unpredictability and hostile
             behavior bordering on the sociopathic.

11. Luther Stickll - Disavowed CIA agent suspected of bypassing internal
                     security regulations. Allegations unproven. Trusted 
                     by Ethan Hunt.

B. Weapons (with descriptions from the game.)

1. 7.65 Silenced - Very silent, very deadly. No IMF agent would 
                   risk death without it

2. Blowpipe - Primitive weapon best utilized when discretion is 
              essential. One advantage is that it does not react
              to metal detection.

3. 9mm Hi Power - Standard street weapon needs no introduction.
                  Imprecise, noisy, hazardous when pointed at you.

4. Dart gun - Used with sleep-inducing darts. Up to 20 rounds can 
              be stored in one clip. Quite powerful and very silent.

5. Blow pipe - Primitive weapon best utilized when discretion is
               essential. One advantage is that it doesn't react
               to metal detectors

6. Fire extinguisher - (no description in the game.)

7. Electro Stunner - Sends a 40,000 volt of shock that will electrify
                     the recipient. Leaves victim unconscious, but 
                     doesn't kill

8. Spray paint - (no description in the game.)

9. Sniper rifle - High precision rifle with very powerful telescope.

10. Rocket launcher - A nice little hand rocket launcher. Very portable.
                     Ideal for agents on the move.

11. Uzi - Popular black market item. Compact, automatic, frequently seen
         in criminal circles and major motion pictures.

C. Gadgets (with descriptions from the game.)

1. Communicator - Miniaturized communication device that doubles 
                  as a database with info about the mission in 
                  progress.

2. Field Scanner - A small wrist-wielded scanning device, can 
                   pinpoint people, locations or objects tagged 
                   within a special CIA "homing" mechanism.

3. Face maker - The most useful IMF gadget of all. Foam cartridges
                will reproduce any face with 100% accuracy. Time and
                temperature can affect the duration of the mask. A 
                lot of laughs at Langley Alumni reunion dinners.

4. Magnetic mines - Diabolic piece of hardware. Used mainly on 
                    metal-plated marine vessels. Exists with preset
                    timer and adjustable timer. The preset timer model
                    is very unreliable.

5. Nausea powder - Tiny dose mixed in a drink will result in nasty 
                   stomach upset. Guaranteed to stall victim in restroom 
                   for hours.

6. Smoke generator - Compact gizmos give impression a serious fire's broken
                     out. Duration limited. Great for clearing areas, creating
                     panic, and assuring yourself a seat on the metro at rush 
                     hour.

7. Video freezer - Electronic jewel that blocks all flow of multimedia data.

8. Pass card - Candice's magnetic access card will allow Ethan to start the 
               computer and lock the room from the outside. 

9. EMS - An electromagnetic scrambler for disturbing instrument readings and
         radar.

10. Virus disk - Candice has devised a nasty virus that will shut down
                 security systems as soon as the disk is inserted in the
                 mainframe computer.

11. IR contact lens - Infra Red Contact Lenses enable security personnel to
                      visualize invisible security lasers without otherwise 
                      altering their vision. 

12. Deflector - A special device used to create passage in security
                laser barriers.

13. Miniature camera - Miniature video camera, can be easily placed to record
                       hard-to-get-at information like digital codes.

14. Disk - Ethan will download the NOC List on this disk after starting the 
           computer.

15. Explosive gum - Looks like Christmas press red to green, stick
                    somewhere and get away. Five seconds later it will
                    blow your adversary into New Year's. Best not to chew.

16. Gas capsules - Small capsule thrown to the ground produce the same
                   results as the gas injector. Works well in open spaces,
                   but their effects dissipate quickly. 

17. Fingerprint scanner - For copying a person's fingerprints and reusing
                          them for access to areas protected by digital 
                          scanners.

18. Gas injector - Very powerful and compact device. Used in closed areas,
                   can render almost an entire army unconscious in seconds

19. Detonator - Standard equipment. Radio controlled, requires no special 
                installation.

20. Explosives - Combined with radio controlled detonator makes for
                 great fireworks.

21. AF scan - When installed near an emitting device makes IMF communication
              completely undetectable.

22. Plastic explosives - Can be used in minute quantities to blow away small
                         equipment. Shoot to activate it without fuse.

Briefing :
        
        Good morning Mr.Phelps.International weapons dealer Basil Prokosh
has set up operations in an abandoned World War 2 submarine base in Lundkwist.
Our information shows that he is planning to up set a piece of the gold by 
selling 12 medium range missiles to an enemy country. Your mission,should you
accept it,is to sabotage the submarine transporting the missiles. As always 
should you or any of your IMF team would be caught,or killed the secretary 
will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This message will self-destruct 
in five seconds......good luck, Jim.

ICE HIT TEAM :

1.) Ethan Hunt - One of IMF's most reliable agents. Highest rate in the 
                 agency. Numerous skills will make him first choice for
                 any mission.

1.) MISSION 1 - LUNDKVIST BASE

A. Mission Briefing
        
        Arriving at the canal, you should land unnoticed. Clutter
will take the long way around to join you near the tunnel entrance
and Dowey will take the raft back to the rendez-vous point for your
getaway. Your main problem will be to get to the subpen on the other
side of the very long and well-guarded tunnel. Using your facemaker
you should be able to take on someone's identity and it would help 
if you could find somebody important. Perhaps you could find a way 
to get someone to run an errand for you and hitch a ride. Don't 
forget to take Clutter with you, as you'll need him to complete the
mission. Oh yes, the facemaker won't work outside in his extreme cold.

1 You will arrive here via a raft and your mission 
  is to meet up with Clutter.

2 Jump over the stacked boxes to get to the other 
  side of the wire fence.

3 Head for the electric power panels. Kill the guards 
  from far so you won't be arrested. Once you have killed
  all of them, shoot the electric power panel to disable 
  it.(3rd Objective)

4 Head for the cabin and get in. Knock the soldier out 
  after he gets suspicious and calls a guard. Use face 
  maker to disguise as the soldier(1st Objective).
  Also, take the letter from the desk(2nd Objective).

5 Give the letter to Boris who is near the truck in 
  front of the exit. 

6 When he gets in the truck, jump on the back of the 
  truck to hitch a ride with Clutter(3rd Objective). 
  MISSION COMPLETE.

2.) MISSION 2 - SUBPEN

A. Mission Briefing

        You are arriving in the submarine pen area. Watch out, as
security has been geared up because they are proceeding to load the
missiles into the sub. You will have to find one of the magnetic mines
they have stocked somewhere and give it to Clutter so he can place it
on the sub. Once in place you'd better get out quick, as once the sub
blows they will be on the lookout for saboteurs. Dowey will be waiting
with the raft by the waterfront to secure your getaway. Be careful, 
Ethan, I'd like to see you back in one piece!

1 You and Clutter will arrive in the Sub pen.
  Without a disguise, you must sneak out and
  search for the magnetic mines. If you are 
  spotted by guards, kill them.

2 Follow the red dot on your scanner for it leads 
  to a warehouse. The mines are on the two wooden 
  ledges(1st Objective).

3 You must find Clutter by following the green dot 
  on your scanner. He will be waiting for you near 
  some boxes. Give him the mine(2nd Objective).

4 Next, you must sabotage the gunboat by descending 
  the stairs. Use the mine on the boat(3rd Objective).

5 Lastly, escape to your raft by descending the ladder
  (4th Objective).MISSION COMPLETE.

Briefing :

        Good morning, Mr.Phelps. Former KGB line-X officer Aleksander
Golytsine now working black market intelligence under offical cover,has
abducted one of our top computer expert,IMF agent Candice Parker,and 
has stolen one half of the CIA NOC list that she was carrying, naming 
all of our non-offical cover agents in eastern Europe. The list is 
divided into two recorded halves. The half Golytsine has is useless 
without the other half, which is stored in CIA headguarters in Langley.
Candice is now imprisoned in the Russian embassy in Prague, where they 
are trying to decode the list, probably believeing she has the key to 
the code. We also know they have a powerful computer there, and are 
probably using it to try to break the code. Special agent Robert Barnes 
was deployed in disguise to free Candice and make it look like Golytsine's
fault. This is so as to discredit him with Moscow. However we have heard 
nothing of Barnes since, and we subspect he has been caught.Your mission 
if you decide to accept it, is to penetrate during tomorrow night's embassy
function, find Candice, copy the list,destroy the computer, and escape with
Candice and Barnes if he's still alive. As alwaysif any of your IMF members
get caught, or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your 
actions.This message will self-destruct in five seconds, good luck Jim!

RECOVER NOC LIST TEAM :

1.) Ethan Hunt - Currently in Kiev, he will be your point man in 
                 Prague. An official invitation to the Embassy 
                 function has been arranged for him. 

2.) Jim Phelps - Leader of the IMF team.In radio contact with Ethan.
                 Has hacked into the Empassy's security system but 
                 needs to have his access unlocked from inside.

3.) Sarah Davies - Four years living in Prague. Infiltrated native

3. MISSION 3 - EMBASSY FUNCTION

A. Mission Briefing :

        We've placed you on the guest list for a society function at
the Russian Embassy in Prague, where Candice Parker and Robert Barnes are
being kept prisoner. There, you will make contact with agents Davies and
Harmon, who have already infiltrated the embassy and can provide useful
information and equipment. Remember to hide smoke generators in the
ventilation ducts to prepare for your escape. You will have to assume the
identity of the Ambassador's Aide, as he has access to the restricted areas
of the embassy - Dieter Harmon's spicy cocktails should come in handy here.

1 You have arrived as a guest at the Russian 
  embassy in Prague. First, you must get rid
  of the killer that is stalking you.

2 Go to the pianist and ask him about the aide. 
  By now, a lady in red will appear near the piano.
  She is the killer.

3 Head for the restroom and wait for the lady in red 
  to arrive. While you are inside, knock her out
  (6th Objective).

4 Talk to the seated couple and when they will stand,
  take the score from one of their seats(2nd Objective).

5 Talk to the bartender(Dieter Harmon) and take the 
  drink and nausea powder(3rd and 4th Objective).

6 Give the score to the pianist so that the Aide 
  will arrive.

7 Give the poisoned drink to the Aide so that he 
  will feel sick.

8 Chase after him since he is heading for the restroom.
  There, knock him out.

9 Talk to the couple near the big vase and wait for the
  man to leave. Talk to the lady(Sarah Davies) and while 
  no one is looking, take the face maker. 

10 Use the face maker to disguise as the Ambassador's 
   Aide(7th Objective).

11 Place all the smoke generators on all the ventilation
   ducts.(marked with *) Do this while no guards are 
   near(5th Objective). After doing these, head for the
   restricted area in the second floor(8th Objective).
   MISSION COMPLETE.

4.) MISSION 4 - KGB WAREHOUSE

A. Mission Briefing :
        
        Since you don't have a badge for direct access to KGB HQ, you'll 
have to go in through an old warehouse level and from there find your
way to the secured area. There may be guards present so try not to appear 
lost - they could get suspicious in spite of your disguise. I suspect 
there'll be lots of explosives and weird Russian equipment down there, so
exercise caution.

1 As you enter the warehouse, punch the guard and 
  take his gun.

2 Shoot one of the boxes that block your way to get
  to the other side. Watch out for the explosion. 
  Now, poison gas is everywhere.

3 Small medikits placed on the wall can be found
  (marked with *) but the radiation suit is the best
  for this mission. Shoot the blue box below the brown 
  boxes and take the suit(Possible Level and Impossible 
  Level have different protection suit locations!)
  (protection suit locations are marked with # in map)
  (1st Objective).

4 Head for this area filled with many boxes and shoot
  at the x-marked box. It contains a k30p. Now, you have
  to search for the other four.

5 Blast one of the x-marked boxes which slightly covered 
  by a brown box near the poison liquid

6 Shoot another x-marked box and beside it, shoot 
  the stack of boxes to kill the guard who has the 
  exit key(3rd Objective).

7 Blast this x marked box covered by a tall brown box.

8 Near the exit, shoot the last x-marked box containing the 
  k30p(2nd Objective). Shoot the big box beside it and open 
  the door.(4th Objective).
  MISSION COMPLETE.

5.) MISSION 5 - KGB HQ

A. Mission Briefing :

        You'll be entering the section where we think our agents are being 
kept prisoner. Your disguise won't grant you the authority to free them,
so you'll have to use the facemaker again on someone else there. I suggest 
you find the Head of Security and impersonate him. Be very careful: this is
a security area, and there will be surveillance cameras everywhere. Be sure
to shut them off, so you don't trigger an alarm while taking Candice out of
there and towards the computer.

1 As you arrive in the KGB headquarters, you will 
  not be arrested because you are still in disguise. 
  First, you must search for Barnes because he knows 
  the location of the face maker.

2 Talk to Barnes who is nearly dying(1st Objective). 
  Now, you must search for the face maker.

3 The face maker is hidden in the stock room. Take it
  (In Impossible level, you must first distract the 
  attention of the guard near the door to stock room 
  by first getting the video freezer)(3rd Objective).

4 Talk to the guard and he will let you see the head 
  security officer.

5 Knock the head officer out and you will hear an alarm.
  Hide the officer's body behind the desk and use the face 
  maker to disguise as the head security officer. Also, 
  take the dart gun on his desk(4th Objective). Open the 
  door to tell the guards that there is no problem.

6 Head into the room where Candice can be seen and talk 
  to the man. He will tell you that he wants to see the 
  transfer order. After this, take the video freezer on 
  the desk(2nd Objective).

7 Enter the head security's office again and press the 
  hidden switch at the bookcase below the painting of a
  man and a woman. Now, press the red button to open a 
  passageway to the video security room.

8 As you enter the video security room, take the exit 
  passcard near the door and the two TV's(In Impossible 
  level, the passcard is at the left of the big television)
  (6th Objective). After this, use the video freezer on the 
  object beside the big TV. The two guards will shoot you so 
  punch or use your dart gun on them.

9 Talk to the man in the communications room and take the 
  transfer order from him(7th Objective).

10 Go back to the room where you can see Candice and give
   the transfer order to the man. He will let you take Candice
   by now. Talk to Candice so she will know that you are 
   really Ethan. 

11 Head for the exit together with Candice and use the exit
   passcard on the card reader near the door. You and Candice 
   can now go out(8th Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

6.) MISSION 6 - SECURITY HALLWAY

A. Mission Briefing :

        The level you're about to enter it an old-fashioned security
hallway. You might have run into one before. The tiles are booby-trapped
and there are probably guards in the area. Candice should be able to
short-circuit the system, enabling you to watch your step. At the end
there'll be a switch to deactivate the whole system and help Candice
through safely.

1 As you start this mission, you will give Candice the
  9mm pistol for her protection. By now, you can only 
  use your dart gun.

2 Talk to Candice so that she can help you about the

  tiles but only on the gray tiles.

3 Shoot the guard that gets out of the C1 door. 

4 Shoot the guard that gets out of the C2 door.

5 Shoot the guard that gets out of the C3 door.

6 Shoot the guard that gets out of the C4 door.

7 Look behind to C4 door first before activating the 
  master switch since another guard may come out. If 
  there isn't any, activate the switch and wait for

7.) MISSION 7 - SEWAGE CONTROL

A. Mission Briefing :

        Their computer complex is set in an old underground sewage
plant as this was the only place cold enough to conceal the super
computer's heat emissions. It will be heavily guarded and very 
dangerous. Your priority is to clear the way for Candice so she 
can download the NOC list and feed a virus into the computer's 
memory.

1 As you arrive ar the underground sewage plant,
  Candice will use the machine near you to open a
  door. Remember, in this mission, protect Candice
  and never let her get arrested.

2 As the first door opens, a guard will run towards
  both you and Candice. Kill the guard.

3 Hop on to the moving platform and go to the black
  machine in front of you. Activate the switch to 
  lower a bridge.

4 As the bridge lowers, Candice will be attacked by a 
  guard and another will also come to shoot you. First
  shoot the one near Candice and then, shoot the other 
  one.

5 Go through the long passageway and shoot the guard 
  that awaits you.

6 Enter the door and kill yet another guard. Activate 
  the machine to lower another bridge.

7 Go through the dark passage and kill a guard.

8 Enter the room and shoot the guard inside. Activate 
  the machine near the desk to open the door to the 
  super computer.

9 Go to the newly opened door but do not go inside yet
  (in Impossible level, there is a guard who will sneak 
  up on Candice so don't leave her while heading for the
  supercomputer.

10 Go back to Candice first since a guard will sneak from 
   the entrance to arrest Candice. Kill this guard.

11 Enter the supercomputer room and kill the two guards.
   Candice will put a virus to the computer and take the
   NOC list(1st and 3rd Objective).

12 Go back to the entrance of the mission and kill the last
   guard on the way. You and Candice will now head back to 
   the Security Hallways(2nd and 4th Objective).
   MISSION COMPLETE.


8.) MISSION 8 - ESCAPE(SECURITY HALLWAY)

A. Mission Briefing :

        There's no time to lose, so get out quick! And be sure to
look for the Golystine facemask that Barnes hid as you go back 
through the security hallways. Be careful on your return through 
the KGB HQ,you'll have no disguise and the guards will be on alert.
Barnes' mission was to make Golystine appear a traitor to Moscow. 
Try to finish this mission for him. Use the Golystine facemask,
find the door leading directly back into the Embassy.

1  As you enter the Security hallways, you will realize 
   that there are no more electric tiles. By now, you must
   deal with the ceiling turrets.

2 Go to the C4 area and shoot the ceiling turret once. It
   will malfunction and won't work for a few seconds.

3  Go to the C3 area and shoot another turret.

4  Go to the C2 area and shoot yet another turret.

5  Go to the C1 area and shoot the last turret.

6 Head for the computer and talk to Candice. She will open
   the door beside the computer.

7 As you enter the door, you will be locked inside while 
   Candice will be attacked by two guards. In the room, open
   the box on the left and take the face maker(2nd Objective). 
   Punch the box on the right to open the door on the right. 
   Shoot the incoming guards. 

8 Run back to the C1 area and shoot the escaping guard. Take 
   the NOC list he drops and save Candice in the room.

9 Head for the exit while shooting the guards that block your
  way(1st Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.


9.) MISSION 9 - ESCAPE(KGB HQ)

A. Mission Briefing : 

        There's no time to lose, so get out quick! And be sure to

1 As you arrive in the KGB Headquarters, head for the video
  security room beside the head security office. Unfreeze the
  video cameras(1st Objective).

2 After unfreezing the video cameras, assume Golitsyne's 
  identity(2nd Objective). Now, destroy all 4 cameras in the 
  KGB HQ.(Cameras are marked in by * in area map)(3rd Objective). 

3 Head for the communications room and kill the guard inside. 
  Take the exit key(4th  Objective).

4. Head for the exit and escape(5th Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

10.) MISSION 10 - FIRE ALARM

A. Mission Briefing :
        
        The smoke generators will create the temporary illusion of
a fire. As you make your escape remember the guards will be able to
recognize you and will certainly be on the look out for Candice. 
Jack will have fireman uniforms for you both. Fine him quick, don 
these disguises and get out of there! If you're still inside when
the smoke stops you'll be trapped.

  (2nd Objective).

4 Follow Jack to the restroom and take the two fireman outfits. 
   One for you and another for Candice(3rd Objective).

5 Head back to the elevator in the second floor and give the 
  fireman outfit to Candice(4th Objective).

6 Head for the embassy's main door together with Candice and 
  escape(5th Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

        Things aren't looking good for you. Getting out and proving
your innocence won't be easy. After all, the CIA does have it's 
reputation to uphold, and they're not too fond of you at the moment.
Hopefully you can count on Candice, who should owe you one since you
freed her from that Russian cell. Oh, don't be surprised if you feel 
a bit drowsy - their coffee has a horrible reputation. Rumor has it 
they recycle their grounds. After which, Ethan will make many jokes 
throughout the game about their coffee.

12.) MISSION 12 - INTERROGATION(HALLWAY)

A. Mission Briefing :

The truth serum will start to work in less than 10 minutes.
You'll have to find your way to the infirmary quickly. Guards,
cameras and fingerprint codes stand in your way. You'll also 
have to force the sergeant to help you escape the hallway. 
Unfortunately, he doesn't scare too easy.

1 You will start the mission in this place. Your mission
  is to head for the elevator to reach the infirmary.

2 Kill the guard and use the finger scanner on him. Activate 
  the switch on the wall to open the big door. Head for the 
  door(1st Objective).

3 Run to the boxes and kill the guard. Take the electro 
  stunner. Also take the spray paint can hidden by the 
  boxes.

4 Head for the door which is guarded by 2 guards. Kill both 
  of them and use the finger scanner on them(2nd Objective). 
  Remember, there are many security cameras that will see you
  so better use spray paint on them.

5 Now with the free access print, you can access all rooms. Head
  for the door with yellow stripes and enter another passageway.
  You will encounter a similar door ahead of you. Open it and
  enter the room next to it.

6 Get in the sergeant's room(3rd Objective). Run for the door to 
  that needed sergeant's fingerprint.

7 Wait for the sergeant to open the door. When the door opens,
  quickly go to the elevator on your left. 

8 When inside the elevator with the sergeant, he will try to kill
  you. Shoot the sergeant(4th Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

13.) MISSION 13 - INTERROGATION(INFIRMARY)

A. Mission Briefing :

The infirmary has an antidote but there's no way back.
The only way out is up. I hope you're fond of heights

  people inside will help the fallen man.

4 While no one is looking, open the glass window and escape to
  the roof(3rd Objective). MISSION COMPLETE. 

14.) MISSION 14 - CIA ROOFTOP

A. Mission Briefing :

        I've prepared a small bag with equipment for you. You'll
have to temporarily sabotage the heliport lights. A maintenance 
man will be called and disguised as him you'll be able to access
the area. To escape, you'll want to use the helicopter, so you'll
have to strategically place an electromagnetic scrambler, which 
will keep the copter grounded for you. You'll have to find ways 
around the different security systems as you run into them, but 
the CIA is one your side, Ethan, try not to kill anybody, okay? 
I'll be waiting at the other end with more instructions.

2 Just a few steps away, shoot the lone guard and take his

3 Enter the small guardhouse and take the fire extinguisher.

4 Don't step on the electric floor. First, press the switch on
  the machine to deactivate the electricity.

5 Get to the other side and press another switch to deactivate
  the heliport lights(1st Objective). Head back down to the 
  guardhouse and open the gate ahead with your security card.

6 Head for another guardhouse and take the dart gun ammo inside. 
  Kill the guard at the gate and head left to yet another 
  guardhouse with a guard inside.

7 Shoot the guard and take the dart gun ammo. 

8 Go ahead to the boxes and jump up to the next floor. 

9 Take the equipment(marked with * in area map)that Candice 
  has left and use the service repairman disguise(in Impossible
  level, the bag is on the guardhouse on the top floor with the 
  bridge heading for the heliport.(2nd Objective)

10 Go ahead until you reach a door near a guard. Open the door
   and enter.

11 You are now on the topmost floor. Here you can see 2 guards,
   a guardhouse and a bridge to the heliport.

12 Enter the heliport and head down to the path on your left.

13 Press the switch on the machine to activate the heliport 
   lights(4th Objective).

14 Go back to the helipad and use the EMS on the box on the 
   wall(5th Objective).

15 Go down to the path on your left again and shoot the guard. Take
   his security card. Now, head back up and go down the path on your 
   right. Go down until you reach a door.

16 When no guard is looking, open the door.

17 As you enter another area, shoot the guard on your left and take 
   the zone digitcards from him(3rd Objective).

18 Open the door on the left and jump on the boxes. Use the laser 
   deflector to be able to enter the area.

19 Shoot the guard as you enter the yet another floor. Just go ahead 
   until you reach a guardhouse that requires a code.(6th Objective). 

20 Place the camera on the topmost box near the guardhouse.

21 Hide and wait until the code is recorded(7th Objective). When the
   guard has left already, enter the room to reach the another top 
   floor.

22 Kill the guard who is roaming around and enter the room to meet 
   Candice(8th Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

15.) MISSION 15 - TERMINAL ROOM

A. Mission Briefing :

        Stealing the invaluable NOC List from the CIA mainframe
computer will be the most demanding job you've ever faced. So far
you've managed to trip no alarms inside the CIA security zone, but
now you're aboutto violate the strongest security system in the 
world! To enter this highly-protected area, you'll have to descend
through the ventilation access in the ceiling, harnessed and hanging
from a special fiber cable, while avoiding the security lasers on your
way down. If you accidentally touch one of them you'll certainly know 
you've been touched. When you reach the bottom, swing back and fourth 
to access the card slot next to the door, activate the computer and 
turn around. Then insert the disk in the terminal for the download. 
I've placed a little something on the disk that will help you get away 
later. I also served another special coffee to the operator. He might
return, but not for long!

  Beware of the lasers. Red causes damage while yellow triggers the
  alarm.

2 To turn on the computer, you must first move yourself and reach for
  the button on the side of the door(1st Objective).

3 Now that the computer is on, reach for the computer and get the NOC
  list. You will also plant a virus in the computer(2nd Objective).
  After all these, go back up quickly to avoid the operator. MISSION
  COMPLETE.

16.) MISSION 16 - ROOFTOP ESCAPE
 
A. Mission Briefing :

        Thanks to the virus you introduced into the computer the
security systems are momentarily frozen. You should have enough 
time to get to the helicopter and away safely. The guards, however,
will be on alert. Try to distract their attention. Don't forget the
EMS!

4 Go back down to the boxes but not those near the guardhouse 
  with the security code.

5 Go the long way and open the gate.

6 Go ahead to the gate near the tall stack of boxes. Open the gate.

7 Shoot the oncoming guards so you won't be arrested. Open the door
  to the heliport(1st Objective).

8 As you open the door on the other side, shoot the guard hiding 
  beside you.

9 Head for the box with the EMS. Take the EMS and throw it.
  (2nd Objective)

10 Hitch a ride on the helicopter and escape(3rd Objective).
   MISSION COMPLETE.

        We've set up a meeting with Max in London at Waterloo

exchange the NOC list for the name of the mole. Luthur and
Kieger, two ex-agents, will be there for back-up just in case 
Max pulls a double-cross. We will, of course, try to snatch the
list back from Max after the deal so don't lose track of her.

  Max. You will now head for the train and get on board.

18.) MISSION 18 - TRAIN CAR(SEARCH FOR CANDICE)

A. Mission  Briefing :

        Ethan, we must find Max! But use caution - Max's men are
vicious killers and will shoot you on sight. Be careful not to 
injure any civilians. Knowing Max, she probably has a backup plan
in case things don't go her way. Remember, she's not too concerned 
about hurting innocent bystanders, so when you find Max, it'll 
probably be best to neutralize her before retrieving the NOC List.
We'll meet up once I've found out where she is. The mole could be

7 In the small room next door, activate the switch on your left to

19.) MISSION 19 - TRAIN CAR(SEARCH FOR MAX)

A. Mission  Briefing :

        Ethan, we must find Max! But use caution - Max's men are
vicious killers and will shoot you on sight. Be careful not to 
injure any civilians. Knowing Max, she probably has a backup plan
in case things don't go her way. Remember, she's not too concerned 
about hurting innocent bystanders, so when you find Max, it'll 
probably be best to neutralize her before retrieving the NOC List.
We'll meet up once I've found out where she is. The mole could be 
nearby as well. If he is, grab that rat and make sure 
he doesn't escape!

B. Mission Objectives
1.) Stop Max and seize NOC list and detonator
2.) Knock out Max's bodyguards
3.) Defuse Max's backup plan

1 Open the door  and head up until you reach the ticket 
  collector.

2 Punch the ticket collector and use your facemask.

3 Enter the next two rooms above and use the gas injector near
  Max's place. Don't be too near as you will die too. Take the
  detonator(1st Objective). Then, knock out all the guards. 
  After you have killed all of them, head for the next room. 

4 Enter the room above until you reach the place with the bartender.
  All the people here are enemies so kill all three of them. You can't 
  kill Phelps who is at the door.(well...not yet)

5 Enter the rooms above and kill the three guards behind the boxes. 
  Take the flame thrower and liquid nitrogen(2nd Objective).

6 Use the liquid nitrogen on the hinges on one of boxes to expose 
  the bomb.

7 Defuse the bomb(3rd Objective). MISSION COMPLETE.

20.) MISSION 20 - TRAIN ROOF

A. Mission Briefing :

Phelps is the mole! He is fleeing over the roof. A
helicopter has come to his aid and Max's men are helping him
escape. Eliminate them and destroy the helicopter before they 
get away. Watch out! You're on a moving train going at full 
speed: this is a very dangerous situation!
        
B. Mission Objectives

D. Strategy

Shoot henchmen while they cannot yet hit you. 
Shoot the helicopter's propellers with your rockets.

Briefing :
        
        Good morning, Mr. Hunt. It seems that your old friend Basil
Prokosh has gone active again. We have information that he is in
possesion of five nuclear detonators and that he has found a wire 
in a country right with terrorist activity. This deal will go down 
in the sub place in Lundkwist. There  he has appearly upgraded security
following your last visit.Your mission Ethan, if you decide to accept 
it,is to undermine the deal and render all installions on the base 
useless. As always, if any ofyour team members are caught, or killed,
the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This message 
will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Ethan. 

ICE STORM TEAM :

1.) Ethan Hunt - Reintegrated in the IMF and cleared of all suspicion.
                 New leader of the IMF.

2.) Candice Parker - Promoted to action agent status as she has proven 
                     her courage and wits in the line of fire during the
                     Mole Hunt. Stationed in a submarine off the coast. 
                     Will supervise satellite video communications and be 
                     in constant radio contact with the team. 

3.) John Clutter - Back in action with Ethan. Nice to have the old team
                   working again! Professional mountain climber and cold
                   weather enthusiast. Specialized in radio systems and 
                   explosives. Participated in successful Artic shield
                   Mission in the North.

4.) Andrew Dowey - Back in action with Ethan.Nice to have the old team 
                   working again! Ex-marine colonel, one of the finest
                   triggers in the agency. An inestimable ally for his
                   electronics skills and knowledge of alarm systems.

21.) MISSION 21 - SUBPEN

A. Mission Briefing :

        Prior to our arrival, HQ dropped the equipment by plane. Due
to bad weather they've scattered it around a bit. Luckily all items 
are tagged so you'll be able to pick them up on your field scanner. 
First on your agenda will be to get our communication going, so I can
guide you through the mission. To that end, Clutter will need to install 
the Automatic Frequency Scrambler (AFS) near the submarine antenna, while
Dowey  places a mine, just in case they decide to move out. You'd best
avoid contact with the guards, as you're largely out numbered. Make 
sabotaging the pump house high priority. The deal will take place on the 
other side of the mountain. There's a tunnel running through it and from
the top of the old communication building you should be able to jump atop 
one of the trucks. Dowey will have to cut the security system wires to
avoid detection while you're in there.

1 Via a raft, you enter the Lundkvist base at 
  night. Climb up the stairs and search for two 
  items that Clutter needs.

2 Climb up the boxes on the other side and take the
  AF scrambler on the top box(1st Objective).

3 Go ahead until you reach a tower. Take the mine near
  the tower(2nd Objective). Get back to Clutter quickly.

4 Give the two items to Clutter and find the remaining 
  items(3rd Objective).

5 Head for the pump house and take the gas injector near 
  it(4th Objective).
  
6 Head for the Boxes near the tower and take the explosives
  (6th Objective).

7 Use the gas injector on the door entrance of the guardhouse. 

8 Take the RC detonator in the guardhouse(5th Objective).

9 Get in the pump house and shoot the guard inside. Take the 
  wirecutter(7th Objective). Place explosives near pipes. 
  Leave pump house and find Dowey.

10 Go behind the pump house and give the wirecutter to 
   Dowey(8th Objective). Use RC detonator and the pump house
   will explode(9th Objective).

11 Go to the top left area of the map and climb up the crates of
   the communications building. Kill the two guards(10th Objective).
   Wait for a truck to pass and jump on it to go to tunnel. MISSION
   COMPLETE.

21.) MISSION 21 - TUNNEL

A. Mission Briefing :

        You'll have to place explosives to blow up the tunnel so the
link will be cut between the two sections of the base. There are eight
main support beams anchored to the walls. Set the explosives on the
anchor bolts. Careful not to bump your head on the ceiling.

1 In the tunnel, your mission is to sabotage all the 
  anchor bolts. While on the truck, watch your head. 
  Jump on to the platform on your right and take the
  explosives the guard(1st Objective).

2 Kill the guards in this area. Use an explosive on 
  the 1st anchor bolt near the door.

3 Use another explosive on the 2nd anchor bolt near the 
  other door.

4 Head forward to the end of the platform and wait for
  a truck. Hop on to the truck and head for the next 
  platform.

5 On the next platform, kill the guards and use an 
  explosive on the 3rd anchor bolt near the door.

6 Use another explosive on the 4th anchor bolt near the 
  other door.

7 Wait for a truck to come and hop on.

8 On the next platform, kill the guards and use an 
  explosive on the 5th anchor bolt near the door

9 Use another explosive on the 6th anchor bolt near the 
  other door.

10 Wait for a truck to come and hop on.

11 On the next platform, kill the guards and use an 
   explosive on the 7th anchor bolt near the door

12 Use another explosive on the last anchor bolt near the 
   other door(2nd Objective).

13 Wait for a truck to come and hop on. MISSION COMPLETE.

22.) MISSION 22 - MAINLAND

A. Mission Briefing

        After protecting your backs by destroying the tunnel, Dowey
will climb one of the towers with his sniper rifle. He'll be able to
give you cover from there. Clutter will cut through the fencing to 
open a passage over the canal as well as find some more explosives to
blow the power plant. You'll have to find the accountant, assume his 
identity, and acquire the detonators for the deal, bring the case to 
Clutter, who will sabotage it. Once you've given the merchandise to 
the buyer, get out quick, as things are bound to get messy when they
find they've been set up. Clutter and Dowey will be waiting on the 
gunboat for the getaway.

1 In the subpen, head to your right and enter the hole in the 
  fence that Clutter has made. In the subpen, shoot the tower
  lights to lessen the amount of guards. You can also use 
  Dowey's help to shoot guards with the sniper rifle.

2 Head for the area with the two houses on the right side of 
  the map. Kill the guards. Enter the house on the left and 
  take the I.D. no. of the accountant.

3 Enter the house on the right and take the electronic 
  diagram(1st Objective).

4 Head for the stack of boxes at the bottom right area of the
  subpen and go through another hole in the fence. Go to the 
  other side of the base by using the inverted U shaped 
  bridge.

5 On the other side, hop on the boxes and kill the guards on 
  the roof.

6 Get down and head for Clutter who will give you the 
  explosives(2nd Objective).

7 With the explosives, get back to the 1st base area and head 
  for the power plant at the left side of the map. Use the 
  explosives on the power plant(3rd Objective).

8 Also, use the plastic explosive on the circuit breaker on the 
  electric power panel near the power plant. Shoot the plastic 
  explosive to cut off cameras(4th Objective).

9 Without electricity and the cameras disabled in the base, head
  for the cabin in the 1st base area and kill the accountant. Use 
  facemaker(5th Objective). Remember to unequip weapons while 
  disguising as accountant

10 Head back for the 2nd base area and enter the bunker.

11 Give accountant's I.D. No. to the guard so he will open door.

12 In the next room with the guard near the computer, use the 
   security card on the panel near the door to open room with 
   the briefcase.

13 Take the briefcase and leave the bunker(6th Objective).

14 Go back to Clutter because he will sabotage the briefcase
   (7th Objective).

15 Enter the warehouse in the bottom left area of the map. Give 
   the briefcase to the dealers(8th Objective). After the dealers
   leave, your disguise will disappear. Wait until the helicopter
   is destroyed(9th Objective).

16 Leave the warehouse and kill Prokosh who is on the jeep near 
   the heliport. Don't let him escape(11th Objective).

17 After eliminating Prokosh, go back to the warehouse and exit 
   through the back door. Kill the guards hiding behind the boxes.
   After killing all of them, wait for Clutter to arrive.

18 Hop on the gunboat and escape(10th Objective).

23.) MISSION 23 - GUNBOAT

A. Mission Briefing :

        Mission orders are to render the base useless. Destroy as
many elements of the installation as possible during your escape 
on the gunboat. I'll be waiting for you at the sub. I'll see you 
then, all in one piece, I hope. Good luck, Ethan!

2.) Destroy gas factory
3.) Destroy main defense structures (only in Impossible level)
4.) Destroy radar (only in Impossible level)
