Extra Spirit, Heath, And Breath Gems
When ever you see a spirit, heath, or breath gem thing, DON'T MELEE IT! Instead, use the R1 dash button to repeatably hit it. You will get about three times as many gems from it that way. I had a level 2 fire breath before the end of the first level.
