Contact Information ----------------- 1. ----------------- Introduction ----------------- After playing this game for a while, I have discovered numerous shortcuts, and found even more when searching online. The vast amount of shortcuts that I found resulted in me wanting to make a walkthrough, so here it is. Some of these shortcuts are easy and some are hard, but after reading this you may know a little bit more about MK7. These are probably common knowledge for most, but this topic is mostly meant for the new and/or inexperienced MK7 players. If you donât already know, you can find things in this FAQ easier by using Ctrl+F and then typing in whatever you want to find. ----------------------------------- 1.5 ----------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions ----------------------------------- Q. How many shortcuts are listed in this FAQ? A. There are 30 shortcuts listed in this FAQ. Q. Why isnât the Maka Wuhu glitch listed here? A. Glitches arenât included in this FAQ, because they werenât supposed to be in the game, so itâs a form of cheating. I donât want random people seeing this, only for them to start glitching as well. Q. How come you didn't list (insert "shortcut" here)? A. I may have considered it to be just a minor offroad shortcut, and not a real shortcut. Otherwise I just didnât know about it. Q. What do the * and 0âs mean? A. My rating system for this FAQ goes from 0-5 (*****), 0 being the worst or easiest and 5 being the best or hardest. --------------------- 2. --------------------- Mushroom Cup --------------------- Toad Circuit 1. Towards the end of the course, there is a ramp in the middle of the dirt. Using a mushroom you can speed towards it and perform a trick to gain some speed Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness â * Daisy Hills 1. Towards the windmill section of the course, there is an alternative route you can take, with the use of a mushroom or star. Using this route will make you go slightly faster, and can be expanded on my driving up to the house at the end. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - * Cheep Cheep Lagoon 1. After exiting the first water section of the course, you will enter a cave. If you take a left you will find a narrow pathway that ends with a glide ramp. Taking this will let you skip the entire second water section, but keep in mind that the spikes knock you down. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - * Shy Guy Bazaar 1. At the end of the course, with the use of at least 2 mushrooms, you can cut through the sand skipping an entire turn. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - * --------------------- 3. --------------------- Flower Cup --------------------- Wuhu Loop 1. In the beginning of the course, you will see large patches of grass, one of which contains a ramp. If you have at least 2 mushrooms, you can a large amount of the track off. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** 2. Towards the middle of the course, you will see a bunch of columns, one of which contains a boost pad. It doesnât require a mushroom, but it is effective. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - * Mario Circuit 1. After exiting the castle, you will see some pipes. If the one closest to you has wind coming from it, you can gain some speed, plus you will cut the entire grass section. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - * Rock Rock Mountain 1. After the gliding section, you can cut through a large amount of grass if you have at least 2 mushrooms. At the end you can opt to take the ramp, or to just continue driving through the grass. You will eventually end up at the hill with the rocks rolling down. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** --------------------- 4. --------------------- Star Cup --------------------- Piranha Plant Slide 1. When you reach the gate, if you have at least 2 mushrooms, you can either cut across the entire grass section, or you can fly over the whole section. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** Neo Bowser City 1. After the first gliding section, you will see a large fan in the middle of the air. If you glide above the fan, you will be able to skip an entire turn, saving you a bunch of time. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** --------------------- 5. --------------------- Special Cup --------------------- DK Jungle 1. Towards the middle of the course, heading towards the broken bridge you will find an alternate path that is narrow. At the end of the path there will be a glide pad that can save you a bunch of time. Difficulty â * Effectiveness - ** Rosalinaâs Ice World 1. At the very beginning of the course, you will see the large hole that you have to drive around. However you can skip the entire turn, by driving off the course at the beginning of it. That being said, you need perfect aim. Difficulty - *** Effectiveness - *** Bowserâs Castle 1. At the beginning of the course, right before the rolling barrel, you will find a ramp to your left. Take the ramp, and you will be able to drive on top of the barrel, instead of inside it, saving some time. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - * 2. Towards the end of the course, right before the big turn, there will be a bunch of ramps. The last ramp, with the use of a mushroom, can let you jump over a large amount of lava. Rainbow Road 1. While your gliding towards the Saturn ring, you can skip almost the whole turn, using a mushroom or two. Difficulty â * Effectiveness - ** 2. At the last turn of the course, if you drive off the track at the right angle, you can skip the entire turn. Difficulty â ** Effectiveness - ** --------------------- 6. --------------------- Shell Cup --------------------- GBA Bowser Castle 1 1. When you get to the glide pad, if you have at least 2 mushrooms, you will be able to cut across the lava, to skip a whole turn. This will bring you to the end of the course. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - ** Wii Mushroom Gorge 1. At the end of the mushroom cave, you will find a blue glide mushroom. If you have a mushroom, you will be able to cut across the abyss at the end of the course. In order to do this you must hold down the entire time in order to not lose air. Difficulty - ** Effectiveness - *** DS Luigiâs Mansion 1. Towards the middle of the track, if you have a mushroom, you can get to a glide ramp. This will enable you too glide over a gate, and save yourself a lot of time. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - *** 2. At the same area, if you donât get to take the glide ramp, you can still skip the turn. In order to do this, you simply use a mushroom to cut through the hole in the gate. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** --------------------- 7. --------------------- Banana Cup --------------------- N64 Koopa Troopa Beach 1. Towards the middle of the track, you will find a ramp that can lead you to a glide ramp. In order to get to the glide ramp, you must use a mushroom before the first ramp. The glide ramp will enable you to cut through a large hole in the rock ahead of you. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - *** SNES Mario Circuit 2 1. At the beginning of the course, if you have at least 2 mushrooms, you can cut through a huge offroad section, which lets you skip a huge turn. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - **** 2. At the end of the course, after the glide ramp, you can continue gliding across the entire turn, thus you save some time. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - ** Wii Coconut Mall 1. After the first set of escalators, you will find a door on the right pathway. With one mushroom you can cut through the store (not required if you have high acceleration), with three you can cut through an entire turn and remain on the one floor. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - **/*** --------------------- 8. --------------------- Leaf Cup --------------------- N64 Kalimari Desert 1. Right after the train section, you will find a large glide ramp in the middle of the sand. Use a mushroom to get to the ramp, where you will then be able to cut across some of the track. The amount of track you can bypass depends on how many mushrooms you have. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness â Varies DS DK Pass 1. Towards the middle of the course, there is a giant snow pile that you can cut across using a mushroom or two. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** Wii Maple Treeway 1. At the beginning of the track, if you have a mushroom, you can take the path to your left and cut across whatever is in your way. This will lead you to the cannon faster. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - ** --------------------- 9. --------------------- Lightning Cup --------------------- Wii Koopa Cape 1. When you get to the glide ramp, you can glide over the grass section, nearest to the giant blue shell. Easier done with a mushroom. Difficulty â 0 Effectiveness - * GCN Dino Dino Jungle 1. When you get to the cave, with the use of a mushroom you can quickly cut across the mud that leads to a glide pad. Using this lets you cut across the gap faster. Difficulty - * Effectiveness - ** 1. At the end of the course, you will get to a 2nd glide pad. With the use of a mushroom you can glide over the large rock at the last turn, saving you a lot of time. Difficulty - ** Effectiveness - **** SNES Rainbow Road 1. At the last turn, with the use of a mushroom, you can shroom into the ramp cutting across the large hole with the two thwomps beside it.
