digits so you can guess.

3. What to do and How to do it

Ok. This is everything that you need to do in the hacking system and how to do it.

First, you have to click hacking on the main menu and choose a saved game. Type in 
DIR and press enter and you will have DIR on your command list for easy access (by 
the way L1 takes you directly to your command list and R1 takes you directly to 
ENTER). Select DIR from your command list and then choose system. A list will come 
up on the screen, look at the list and type each one and press enter after it for 
everyone except reboot. When you get to login for the password type in GUEST, 
FREEMIND, or COWBOYCURTIS (if you use one of the last 2 you get to hear a message 
from Morpheus).

Go to DIR again and choose tools and type in the three commands followed by enter. 
There is also a folder called text in A: but if you want to read the contents you 
have to click read from your command list and the list will come up in your command 
list. Logging in got you access to B:… Go to it but ignore all the other ones for 
now and go to tools. Its going to ask you for a 5 digit binary code, and if you 
don’t know what that is it’s a code made up of 1’s and 0’s. The code is only 5 
digits long so you can guess the code it will be something like 11111 or 10101.

When you get access type the commands followed by enter once again. Type VIRTUAL 
last and when you get to it type in FROZENFISH as the password. A sliding puzzle 
will come up and you will have to click each square to make a picture I think that 
for the blue solution you need to make to make 2 Japanese symbols and 1 for the red 
solution. If you get the blue solution Neo will say you don’t belong there and run 
a tracking program and you will have to run tracekill to get rid of it. Then re-do 
the puzzle and get the red solution.

Getting the red solution will give you access to V: where you can get to by DIR… 
click it and then go back and V:\TOOLS will be there click it and it will say DAIL 
and ROOTSEARCH, type ROOTSEARCH first and it will give you access to V:\ROOT and 
the password for MAIL. In V:\ROOT there is a command called PORTKEY get that in 
your command list and get MAIL too. 
Now go to MAIL and type in THISISNOTREAL as the password then answer yes to the 
question by typing yes and pressing enter. There will be a list of phone numbers:

If you haven’t already, type in dial then choose it from yor command list and type 
the last phone number. It will give you a code, 942, which you will use with 
PORTKEY. Now type in or choose PORTKEY and then type 942. Now a lot of numbers will 
scroll across your screen, and you will be talking to Trinity. Here is the 
conversation:

>Knock. Knock.
>Hi it’s me, Trinity.
>Thanks for opening the port.
>Been having any problems with the system?
>(Here you answer whatever you want, it’ll still work, if you say “I love you” she 
says “Right back at ya! :)”)
>Do you know how to get to your RAM Drive?
>(answer yes or no) Yes
>I thought you’d know, however as you also know you’ll need a cracker to 
infiltrate. They’ve updated the system so I’ll give you mine. 
>Here it comes…
>To get to the RAM file type CRACK 8RAM
>Gotta go...


Now you have CRACK so type CRACK 8RAM to get access to RAM:, and then open it and 
open TRINITY now get the commands on your command list. HANDSHAKE will take you to 
a chat with Sparks. Here it is:

Hi...Sparks here... I can’t chat for long, I am monitoring Sentinel Activity in 
this area.
What’s up?
> (answer whatever you want) Nothing
I wish it was that quiet over here! What’s this, a present? Thanks for that file 
you just sent me... What is it?
> (answer whatever you want) HANDSHAKE
Hold on, can’t chat now, that file you sent me is corrupting the screen...

OH SHIT! - It was a Trojan. Its infecting our onboard computers... it’s trying to 
find a broadcast output. Trying to shut it down... Its rung the bell, I’m scanning 
movement.-Sentinels inbound.
The virus is spreading. It’s locking down my controls... I’ve lost control of our 
EMP, my monitors are down... if you’re reading this, run EMP.EXE on the LOGOS 
drive. You have the only port open to my onboard computer...


You now have access to the LOGOS drive which you can get to with DIR... Open 
LOGOS:\SPARKS and type EMP and press enter. Then Sparks continues:


He he he... I was just kidding! Holy crap, no need to take me seriously! you would 
have left me without a pot to piss in if the EMP had really fired!
Oops, I forgot.

the loading section.

Now you have 2 player :)...and you have the LOGOS file with art from the game. 
That’s about it for the hacking system except that when you’re finished with the 
game, you load this again open LOGOS:\TRINITY open TRAINING and choose what comes 
up on the command list to have a sword in the game when you press triangle + circle 
or square.
