The Story | ==================== The year is 2008, ad the world teeters on the brink of war. Radical ultranationalists have seized power in Moscow--their goal, the reestablishment of the old Soviet empire. Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan--one by one the nearby independent republics slip back into the Russian orbit. Russian tanks sit in the Caucasus Mountains and the Baltic forests, poised to strike to the south and east. The world holds its breath, and waits. For one small group of elite soldiers, the war has already begun: U.S. Special Forces Group 5, First Battalion, D Company. Deployed on peacekeeping duty to the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus, this handful of Green Berets represents the very tip of the spear--the first line of defense. Equipped with the latest battlefield technology, and trained in the latest techniques of covert warfare, they strike--swiftly, silently, invisibly. They call themselves "The Ghosts." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =================== | b. Platoon Setup | ======================== Each mission allows you to compile a platoon of up to six soldiers (3 to Team Alpha, 3 to Team Bravo), but you are not required to have six people in you platoon. The choice is yours on how many soldiers you wish to take. You will need to set up your platoon properly to complete the mission successfully as some missions will require you to take along M136 anti-tank rockets of demolition charges with your demolitions specialists. If a mission requires wither one, you will not be allowed to start gameplay until you have assigned at least one demolitions expert with the appropriate equipment. Every single player mission has a recommended platoon setup that you can take along if you don't wish to customize your platoon. Simply select the ATUO ASSIGN button at the top of the platoon list, and your platoon will be filled out automatically with the default soldiers (unlocked specialists are never selected when auto assigning). As soon as one soldier is assigned to your platoon, the ATUO ASSIGN button will change to UNASSIGN ALL. Selecting UNASSIGN ALL removes all soldiers from the platoon, allowing you to start from scratch. In cooperative multiplayer, you and your friend each have a team of up to three soldiers. Again, you can choose how many soldiers you wish to take in your team and you may choose any kits that have been unlocked for a certain class. SOLDIER CLASSES Rifleman - main soldiers of your platoon; you should have at least three of these in your platoon for every mission Sniper - far-ranged accurate soldier; you should have at least one of these in your platoon for every mission Support - heavy support soldier; you should have one or two of these in your platoon for missions with heavy enemy onslaughts Demolitions - demolitions expert soldier; you should have one or two of these in your platoon for missions that have enemy tanks or require explosive charges SELECTING SOLDIERS If you don't want to auto assign your platoon, you can select and equip your soldiers individually. By selecting a slot in your platoon roster, you can pick the individual soldier to fill that slot. When you select the slot, you will be taken to a row of icons that represent every soldier. Each soldier will have one of four icons. These icons indicate the soldier's class, which dictates what weapons kits he/she can use. If you move the left thumbstick to the left, you will be presented with all the specialists that you have unlocked. Pressing the left thumbstick to the right will bring you back to the regular soldiers. As you cycles through the soldier icons, the right-hand side of the screen will update to show you information about each soldier. When the soldier you wish to add to your platoon is current, press the A Button to select him/her. You will then be able to assign any combat points that he may have, and set up what equipment you wish the soldier to take into the mission. To unselect a soldier, select his/her spot in the platoon and press Y. You can also simply select a new soldier in that slot, which will automatically unassign the current one. SOLDIER SKILLS and COMBAT POINTS Every time a soldier loves through a mission, he earns one combat point that you can use to raise one of his skills. Each skill has a separate effect on gameplay. The Weapons skill determines how fast the reticle pips converge, making for better accuracy and allowing soldiers to recover from recoil faster. The Endurance skill reflects how many wounds a soldier can take before becoming incapacitated. Remember however, that one shot in the right place can incapacitate a soldier regardless of how high his/her endurance rating is. The Stealth skill determines how difficult it is for enemy soldiers to detect that soldier. The higher a soldier's Stealth rating, the closer he/she can get to enemy soldiers before being detected. Finally, the Leadership skill affects all of the soldiers on a platoon. For every three points of leadership that a soldier has, the skills of all of the other soldiers on the platoon are increased by one. Only the soldier with the highest Leadership rating in the platoon has an effect on his/her teammates. To raise a skill with a combat point, select the appropriate skill and press the A Button. You will see the total number of combat points change. If you made a mistake, simply press the Y Button on that skill to erase the allocation of the combat point, which returns it to the pool of points currently available. Once a soldier goes on a mission, his/her combat points are locked and cannot be reassigned. SELECTING KITS To select which kit you wish to use in a mission, select the Kit box and press the A Button. Every time you press the A Button, the current kit will cycle, bringing up a new one. Most soldiers will have four kits to select from. Different secondary items will appear, depending on which kit you choose, but it Campaign mode all kits for a particular soldier class have the same primary weapon. If you have unlocked additional weapons for specialists, they will have up to eight kits to choose from. Once you have assigned combat points and kits, and are satisfied with your platoon alignments, select GO! to launch the mission. Source: Game Manual ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ============================== | d. Rules of Engagement | ============================== By pressing the Left Trigger during gameplay, you can access the Command Map. Here you can select Rules of Engagement (ROEs) for your two teams, A and B. Each team has its own ROEs, independent from the other team. The ROE above the list of soldiers indicates the team's Movement ROE, while the one below the list of soldiers indicates the team's Combat ROE. To change the current ROE, simply highlight it and press the A Button. MOVEMENT ROEs A team's Movement ROE determines how their movement is affected by combat. Hold: A team on Hold will not move until taken off Hold. It can still be given orders, but will not move to accomplish those orders unless you take it off hold. Advance: A team on Advance will move normally until it takes fire. Once it is in combat, it will revert to Hold. To get it to move again, you will need to take it off of the Hold ROE Advance at all Costs: A team set to this Movement ROE will continue to advance along its path, whatever the costs. It will not stop moving to engage enemies, but will engage them while moving. COMBAT ROEs A team's combat ROE determines how often and carefully it fires. Recon: A team on Recon will not open fire on any enemy it see. It will return fire if fired upon, or engage enemies directly in its path. When possible, soldiers on Recon will use silenced weapons. Assault: A team on Assault will carefully pick its shots. It will only fire if it can see an enemy, and will stop firing as soon as it no longer sees a threat. Suppress: A team on Suppress will fire at any place it suspects an enemy to be. It will continue to fire at an area from which an enemy disappears for a few seconds. M01 Iron Dragon | ========================== South Ossetia 05:45|04/16/08|Clear BRIEFING TEXT Welcome to Tbilisi, gentlemen -- I hope you got some shuteye on the flight from Bragg, because now that we're here we've got a lot of work to do. Here's the situation: We've been deployed at the request of the Georgian government to help them deal with rebels on their Russian border. Our area of operations will be the South Ossetian Autonomous region -- 1500 square miles of small villages and rugged backcountry. The Ossetians have been skirmishing with the Georgian army for years, but lately the attacks have escalated to the verge of all-out war. Washington thinks that the Russians have engineered the current flare-up as an excuse to step in and annex the whole region. Our job is to cut the legs out from under the revolution before that can happen. Our first mission is a raid on a rebel base in the Caucasus Mountains. A rebel leader named Bakur Papashvili has been attacking army convoys across the Terek River. You'll need to take out his guard posts first, then hit his main camp. You'll find Papashvili in the caves at the top of the hill where he's set up a command center. Take him alive if you can, but remember that he won't surrender unless all his guards are eliminated. PLATOON Since you have no specialists, just hit AUTO ASSIGN. The names for the default soldiers change from campaign to campaign so I will refer to them as Default rather than names. Team Alpha: Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Sniper - Kit 1 Team Bravo: Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Support - Kit 1 OBJECTIVES 1. Neutralize the Tent Camp 2. Secure the Caves 3. Reach Extraction Zone X. Capture Papashvili RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH This mission takes place in a large forest area providing perfect camouflage for enemies. Be careful when progressing through this level as the enemies can be pretty hard to spot. Luckily, if you bring a sniper along, he/she can usually pick them off from afar. Anyways, open up your command map at the start and look to the near the center of the map just southwest of the target dot. You should notice a little gap in between the cliffs. Place the target at the western entrance of the gap and press the A Button, making a path for the Bravo team. Head that way along the cliff wall and look out for three enemy soldiers up ahead. Pick them off and follow Bravo team west to the gap. Stop near the entrance and gets some cover. Then look to the north for a group of enemies. Wait for them to come to you and then take them out. When it is clear, open your Command Map again and place the target near the gold box to the east (the Tent Camp) and make a path to there. Now head northeast up through the gap but be cautious of the enemy soldiers up here There are about four enemies total up here: two right near the entrance to the gap, and two amongst the forest to your left. Once the threat is gone, follow Bravo team, continuing east to the Tent Camp. I recommend flanking the enemy and having Bravo approach from the southwest while you take Alpha and approach from the direct west. There aren't very many soldiers here and once you trap them it's a piece of cake to take them out. Be wary of some enemies in the trees to the east of the camp as they can be hard to spot. Objective Complete - 1. Neutralize the Tent Camp Now open up your Command Map again and make a path to the cave entrance up in the northwest corner of the map. Head up the open cliff area, keeping an eye out for enemies amongst the boulders and the shrubbery. There are no large trees here so enemies are much easier to spot from afar. About halfway up the cliff, you should reach a high point where you can look down on everything for as far as the draw distance goes. Stay up here and pick off any enemies you see before progressing on. Continue west hugging the cliff edge and take out any more threats you see before heading north to the caves. Look out for two enemy soldiers at the entrances to the cave (one at each entrance). Take them out then head into the eastern cave entrance with only Alpha team. After you cross a wooden bridge you will come to a lighted clearing with a single soldier off to the right. Objective Complete - 2. Secure the Caves Carefully kill him and then progress toward in the direction of his body, taking the little tunnel beyond him to a room with the prisoner Papashvili. Simply touch him to rescue him and then exit the caves. To complete the mission, you can either head back where you started or eliminate all remaining enemies. Since there are not very many enemies left, you should just take them out. Make a path for Bravo in your command map due south from the caves, then another one east to the extraction zone. Head west from the caves and then south down the cliff. Take out an enemy soldier amongst the trees ahead and then proceed south down another steep cliff. You should see a bunker of sand bags down below. Head for that and then head east back to the extraction zone. Take out any enemies in this area that you missed and pass by the gap through the cliffs. In this last area to the extraction zone, two enemies have spawned. Look carefully for them in the shrubs and pick them off completing the mission. Objective Complete - 3. Reach Extraction Zone Objective Complete - X. Capture Papashvili All enemies neutralized. Mission complete. M02 Eager Smoke | ========================== South Ossetia 02:15|04/24/08|Cloudy BRIEFING TEXT We've been tapped for a search and rescue. The Navy's been flying sorties against rebel positions from its carrier battle group in the Black Sea. Last night, the bad guys got lucky with a SAM and took out one of our F-18s. The pilot and the weapons officer both bailed out before impact, but the rebels picked them up shortly after they activated their beacons. They're being held for interrogation at a farm near the crash site. Your job is to go in and bring them back out alive. Recon photos show the F-18 is still largely intact but heavily guarded. If it's possible to plant a demo charge and blow the plane, do it -- but don't jeopardize your main mission. And try to minimize Ossetian casualties -- the Russians are already making a big stink at the U.N. about us being here and we don't want to give them any more ammunition. If Moscow decides to intervene, we're going to find ourselves smack in the middle of a major war. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Sniper - Kit 1 Team Bravo: Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Demolitions - Kit 1 Default Support - Kit 1 OBJECTIVES 1. Rescue Pilot 2. Rescue Weapons Officer 3. Get to Extraction Zone X. Destroy Avionics RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH To start off, press the X Button to turn on night vision. This makes the mission so much easier as enemies are basically highlighted in light green now. Since the mission is so spread out, you should have your teams split up. Using your command map, place the target near the northwest gold box and make a path for Bravo team to get there. Set them off and they should kill any enemies that they encounter with ease and reach the downed plane. If they are ever held up, simply put them back on advance in your command map. While they head off, take Alpha team due south towards the southeastern box. Eliminate a few enemies you come across until you spot a barn across a little stream. Cross the stream and head for some cover, then pick off any enemies you spot in or near the barn. There are quite a few of them so be patient and allow them to show themselves. Be careful as to not hit the prisoner sitting in the middle as you are supposed to save him. Also look out for any enemies on the second level of the barn. The barn may seem to be clear, but if you still have a red dot on your Threat Indicator, be cautious and look out for any hiding enemies as you enter the barn. When it is all clear, the captive pilot will stand up. Brush up against him to get him to follow you, then switch over to Bravo team. First off, use your Command Map to make a path directly west from the barn for Alpha team. Then make another path heading north towards the gold box in the middle. They should swing around to the south, eliminating some enemies in the area before heading to the final area. Now switch to your demolitions expert and press the B Button to change to your explosive charges. Go up to the crashed plane and hit the Right Trigger once aimed at it. After a short delay, the explosive will be planted, though you cannot see it. Objective Complete - X. Destroy Avionics Switch back to the leader of Bravo team and make your way south southeast towards the last objective. You will soon come to an abandoned house with many enemy soldiers around it. Try and time it so that Alpha team gets there the same time as you so that you can flank the enemy. Stay a ways off and find some cover. Be patient and pick off all enemies patrolling the area. Then circle the building, looking for any enemies in the windows before entering the building. Enter a little arched area on the south side of the building and open the door here by clicking in the Left Thumbstick. The house should be almost entirely clear if you shot the enemies through the windows except for one last enemy. As you head up the stairs and make a left, you should see the weapons officer in a room at the end of the hall. Upon entering the room, look to the left and pick off the enemy soldier, then touch the weapons officer to rescue him. Now you can head back to the extraction zone where you started or you can take out the remaining enemies. If you choose to do the latter, use your Threat Indicator to lead you to the remaining enemies. There were only two enemies, southwest of the house, left in my game, but it could be different for you. There also may be enemy soldiers near the stream or around that area that both your teams missed. Just use your Threat Indicator and night vision to spot them easily and pick them off. Objective Complete - 1. Rescue Pilot Objective Complete - 2. Rescue Weapons Officer Objective Complete - 3. Reach Extraction Zone No Enemy Resistance remains. Afterwards, you get to view a weak cutscene showing part of the crashed plane blowing up. Big woop. M03 Stone Bell | ========================= South Ossetia 10:00|05/02/08|Clear BRIEFING TEXT Word just came down from HQ, gentlemen. We have official confirmation that at 0600 hours three Russian armored divisions crossed the border and linked up with the rebel forces in the north. The Russian foreign minister has issued a statement condemning "international meddling in regional affairs." Looks like we've got ourselves a full-scale international incident. For now the U.S. is still backing the legitimate Georgian government. Our orders are, quote, "to aid the Georgian army's defensive operations in any way practical." Short and sweet that means we've got the green light to blow stuff up. First priority is to slow down the main armored column headed for Tbilisi. We've identified an ambush point about 60 klicks west of here where the highway crosses under a rail line. A Georgian command post is nearby -- if it's overrun their entire western flank will collapse. Take out the Russian advance patrols first, then the tanks. And keep your demolitions expert under cover until you need him -- those tanks aren't going to be stopped by anything less than a rocket up the tailpipe. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Nigel Tunney - Kit 1 Default Sniper - Kit 1 Team Bravo: Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Default Support - Kit 1 Default Sniper - Kit 1 OBJECTIVES 1. Neutralize NE Patrol 2. Neutralize SW Patrol 3. Prevent HQ Breach X. No NATO Casualties RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH If you look to your right at the start you will find the NATO headquarters that you must protect. The enemy will be coming from the northwest past where the bridge ahead is. Open up your command map and set a path to the bridge and get some cover in the bushes and among the pillars there. Switch to your sniper and take out three scouts a little further northwest near some brush. Once you kill them, look on further down the road and you should see a tank followed by a mass of enemy soldiers. Switch to Tunney and press B to get out his tank-destroying bazooka. You need to sacrifice your cover a little while to get out into the open for a clear shot at the tank. Once the large pips converge and your reticle turns into a square, you're ready to fire. If you miss, you can always reload and try again, but this costs time, and potentially, your life. So make sure you hit it the first time. Once the tank is destroyed, head back for some cover and stay low, either kneeling or lying flat on the ground. Switch back to Jacobs or your support man and start mowing the enemy soldiers down. Make good use of your grenade launcher to take out groups of them at a time. Once the enemies are fired upon, they tend to head into the woods to the right. Be patient as they eventually come out and fire at you, giving you opportunity to take them out. Be wary of the enemies that attack you from the cliffs to your left and right. They are hard to spot but your snipers are good at picking them off. Objective Complete - 1. Neutralize NE Patrol Objective Complete - 3. Prevent HQ Breach As soon as the all enemies are downed (you will know because it of the above messages), take your team northwest and hug the cliff to your left. You should soon see a passage heading back southeast up the cliff with a few dead soldiers along it. Head up the path and once you reach the top, stop and look for three soldiers standing ahead. Lay low, take your time and pick them off to complete the mission. Objective Complete - 2. Neutralize SW Patrol Objective Complete - X. No NATO Casualties Mission Complete. HQ just got a radio call from a couple of Brits up near the village of Ahmeta. Their transportation broke down and they're cut off from the Georgian lines. We're sending you in by chopper to open up and escape route for them. You'll need to move fast -- in their last message they said they said they thought they'd been spotted by a Russian patrol. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Default Rifleman - Kit 1 Jack Stone - Kit 1 Team Bravo: Nigel Tunney - Kit 1 Default Support - Kit 2 Default Sniper - Kit 1 OBJECTIVES 1. Secure the Crossroads 2. Contact UN Troops 3. Reach Extraction Zone X. Keep UN Soldiers alive RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH This is quite a fun mission, infiltrating an abandoned village and saving two UN comrades in danger. Open up your command map and you should see two green circles, indicating you allies, to the north. They are the UN soldiers, but they're quite far off as they are on the other side of the river. Anyways, to begin your mission, make a path a little ridge just south west of your location (it looks like a skinny black thing jutting out into the land from the river). Take cover near here and scout out your enemies ahead. If you see no enemies then they are past the road and hidden behind the hump. Take out the soldier at the little station before the bridge and proceed cautiously to take out any others in the area. Now switch to your Stone and pick off the lone soldier at the station at the other end of the bridge. Open up your command map and set a path just south of the westernmost box. Continue with your platoon northwest across the bridge but before you get off, look to the left among the brush for a couple enemy soldiers. Take them out then get off the bridge and get some cover off to the left side of the road. Take out any enemies you see in this area around the buildings. Sometimes there are enemies inside the buildings. In this case, just use your grenade launchers from afar or sneak up near the building with your support soldier and lob a couple in the windows. You will know if there are people in the buildings if you do not see anyone but your Threat Indicator still glows red. Objective Complete - 1. Secure the Crossroads Once the crossroads have been sufficiently secured, open your command map again and make a path for Bravo team north past the crossroads area into the woods, and then another east-northeast so that they end up just northwest of the area where the UN troops are. This may sound confusing but it makes a lot more sense on your map. Basically you are flanking the abandoned village while taking out soldiers in the hills to the north. Let your Alpha team relax a bit allowing Bravo team to get to the destination before arriving. You may want to take Bravo team yourself into the hills, however, for a quicker time. Upon reaching the wrecked building, ambush the village, taking out the distracted enemy soldiers. Bravo team should come around from the north and take out the few enemies there. Once the threat is eliminated, head into the northern building and touch each of the UN soldiers to secure them. Objective Complete - 2. Contact UN Troops Upon reaching the abandoned village area, a group of about seven or eight enemy soldiers will spawn to the west near the bridge and the crossroads area. Open your command map and send Bravo back toward the crossroads area. Follow with Alpha team right behind them and take out the group of enemies that pursues you. Bravo team is usually quite good at spotting them out and picking them off but be there with support. They come from various places so be patient and let them appear to you. Once they are all downed, the mission is complete. Objective Complete - 3. Reach Extraction Zone Objective Complete - X. Keep UN Soldiers alive All enemies neutralized. Mission Complete. The rest of our people have already been evac'ed - you gentlemen are the absolute tip of the Dachshund's tail. The Navy is running a shuttle between our embassy and the U.S.S. Ronald Regan out in the Black Sea. Two hours from now the last Seahawk will leave the embassy's roof - you'd better be on it. On the way there there's one thing we want you to check out. The Russians brought down one of our Seahawks on the last run - hit it with a man-portable SAM before it reached the embassy. It crashed in a park just north of your position. We haven't received any communication from the crew - no voice, no beacon - probably there are no survivors. But your orders are to check out the wreckage and make sure. Be on the look out for Russian patrols. And watch out for Georgian civilians as well - there are plenty of refugees in the streets and we want to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Investigate Crash Site 3. Reach Extraction Zone X. No Civilian Casualties RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH This is a great mission through the capital city of Georgia. It sort of reminds me of Black Hawk down, just because of the whole city setting, except there are no angry Somalians here. But there is a crashed helicopter! Anyways, I would only use Alpha team in this mission, as it is pretty simple and straightforward, but you may choose to string Bravo along if you wish. At the start, head left around the corner and stop when you get to the phone booth ahead. Either peak or slowly strafe right around the corner and pick off the three idle soldiers before they can get a shot at you. You may also want to launch or lob a grenade at them. Continue a little left around the building ahead and then north. Watch out for the frightened citizen that comes up the stairs to your right. He can spook you but be careful not to shoot him, or any other civilian in this mission. A little further on down, the road will come to sort of a T intersection. The bank will be on your right. Take out the two heavy machine gunners in the windows on the upper floor before taking on the inside of the bank. Stay fairly far away and strafe in front of the entrance, picking off the three enemies you see inside the building. Then enter the building and open the door on the north end of the building, taking out the last enemy soldier in the bank. Objective Complete - 1. Secure the Bank Exit out the southern door of the bank and head east, getting some cover by a parked car around the corner of the bank. Eliminate the group of four soldiers that comes your way and continue heading east down the road. Turn left with the road, and you should be heading north, facing the embassy. Only go through the parking garage area if the group of four soldiers did not come to you before. They will be in there. Now cautiously strafe in front of the southern entrance and take out the three soldiers on guard in the front of the embassy. Now look up and kill the two soldiers at their posts on the roof of the embassy. You may need to take the stairs at the south side of the building up to the roof to eliminate them. Now head out the western exit of the embassy back onto the road and turn north to see a group of five soldiers. Use your grenade launcher or switch to Stone and pick them off before proceeding. Pass their dead bodies and enter the building to your right to eliminate this threat first. Switch to Stone and head up the stairs. Open the door at the top and toss a grenade at the three soldiers standing in front of you. Exit the building and head east to the crash site. Pick off all enemies you see from afar, then walk up and around the downed helicopter to "investigate" it. Objective Complete - 2. Investigate Crash Site Objective Complete - 3. M06 Witch Fire | ========================= Izborsk, Russia 02:00|06/06/08|Clear BRIEFING TEXT It's official - President Arbatov just appeared, "welcoming" the Republic of Georgia into the new Russian Democratic Union. Of course, no one's recognizing the annexation - the Georgian government-in-exile issued a strong denial from their offices in Geneva, and the U.S., Great Britain, and Germany have all publicly condemned the Russian invasion - but all the talk in the world isn't going to budge those tanks in Tbilisi. The big boys are convinced that Arbatov and his generals are engineering another "intervention". Satellites have detected major troop movements on the Baltic coast, near the Latvian border. Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia were all part of the old Soviet empire and bringing them back under Moscow's control has been part of the Ultranationalist agenda for years. We're sending you in to gather intelligence about the coming attack. The Russians have set up a command post at Izborsk, an old medieval fortress a few miles from the border. Your mission is to infiltrate the post and recover any documents describing the Russian battle plans. Watch out for patrols - there's been a lot of troop movement along the road. There's also a comm station inside the castle - don't let the garrison radio for help, or you'll have a major firefight on your hands. One final twist. There's a mobile SAM site nearby. Reconnoiter, and if it's lightly guarded, take it out with rockets. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Nigel Tunney - Kit 1 Jack Stone - Kit 4 Team Bravo: Buzz Gordon - Kit 1 Henry Ramirez - Kit 1 Default Sniper - Kit 4 OBJECTIVES 1. Get Intel from SE House 2. Get Intel from NW House 3. Reach Extraction Zone X. Destroy SAM RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH Welcome to Russia, comrades. This mission is in the dark so don your night vision before heading out. For a much quicker and easier time, I recommend splitting up your teams on this mission. Since Alpha team has Tunney, with the tank-destroying rockets, it will head north to the SAM while Bravo team heads east to the SE House. Open your command map and make a path to the southwestern box and then proceed with Alpha team north into the woods. You should spot a little shack off to your right and a couple of enemy soldiers. Take them out and continue north until you spot the large SAM (it looks like a tank with some massive missile launchers on top). There are a few enemies patrolling the area so take them out before switching to Tunney and destroying the SAM. Objective Complete - X. Destroy SAM Switch to Bravo team and then open the command map and make a path for Alpha into the center of the castle area in the middle of the map. Now enter the little house nearby and cautiously take out the three soldiers inside. Walk to the southwest corner of the house to a little table to nab the intelligence. Objective Complete - 1. Get Intel from SE House Alpha team should be causing a riot now in the castle, so go to join them. But head southwest out onto the road and you should see a truck coming your way. Shoot the driver and the passenger through the windshield and the truck will stop. Then head around to the back of the vehicle and take out another enemy soldier. Now switch back to Alpha team and make a path to the extraction zone to the far north for Bravo using your command map. Head to the house northwest from your location (the one with the door on the side, not the in the front), and slowly peek or strafe around the corner and kill the three enemies there. Now walk over to the table ahead to grab some more intelligence. Objective Complete - Get Intel from NW House Now simply follow Bravo team north to the extraction zone, or you could take the time to find all remaining enemies if you're that brutal kind of person. The Russians went on the offensive in the Baltics this morning, three days ahead of schedule. Senior command is trying to field a defensive force from our bases in Germany, but they need more time. And we're the ones who are going to provide it. Your mission is to blow the bridge where the Riga highway crosses the Lubana River. This will seriously damage the enemy's ability to bring forward reinforcements and will slow their advance dramatically. Plant demo charges on both of the main pillars of the bridge, then clear out to the extraction zone. Don't try to engage the primary force guarding the bridge - they'll eat you for lunch. But use your own judgment on the Russian camp near the river. If it's lightly guarded, take it out - it'll only add to the disruption. Plus, you must be stealthy, which is actually kind of cool, but the enemy almost always sees you anyway. Well, try to make this mission a little less painful and long by having each team split up. Open up your command map and set each team's Combat ROE to Recon. Now make a path for Bravo all the way down to the East Pylon. Now take Alpha team all the way west through the brush and trees to a little shallow area in the river where you can cross. This area is at the northwest part of the map, just northeast of the box there, which is the Camp Garrison. Stay on the north bank of the river and take out any enemies you see, then cross the river and take out any remaining soldiers. There are only about four or five total. Objective Complete - X. Eliminate Camp Garrison From the camp head left and take a path between two cliff walls back east. If you look on your command map, it should eventually lead around and down to the West Pylon. There are three soldiers near the entrance of the path and there are a couple more as the path turns west, though Bravo team might have taken them out. Make your way to the pylon (the bridge support), doing your best to avoid detection by the troops above, though they will likely see you. If they do, get some cover under the bridge and take them out. Once you are clear, switch to Henkel and plant a charge on the pylon. Now switch over to the demolitions expert on Bravo team and plant a charge on the eastern pylon. Objective Complete - 1. Destroy East Pylon Objective Complete - 2. Destroy West Pylon Once that is done, make a path for Bravo team all the way to the extraction zone in you command map. It's a long way, but a path can still be made. In my case, however, they refused to move and reverted back to Hold because of the tanks above. So you may need to give them a little push before setting them off. Once they're off, head back out to the camp garrison area and head south- southwest to the extraction zone. There are a few enemies along the way, so look for them among the trees and shrubbery. Stay to the west at all times to avoid any further detection and head to the extraction zone. Once Bravo gets there, the mission is complete. Objective Complete - 3. We've got reinforcements coming up from the coast, but they won't be here until tomorrow. Right now, the situation is very fluid - if the Russians resume the attack before we're ready, we're not sure our line will hold. The main concentration of Russian troops in this sector is near a little Lithuanian village named Venta. They've set up mobile artillery in the hills nearby and are using it to shell our position here. Your mission is to go in and take out that artillery. The chopper will drop you at an abandoned farm just west of town. It's unlikely that your arrival will go undetected, so you'll need to establish a defensive perimeter quick or you'll be overrun. Once you're in place HQ will launch an attack down the main road. Hold the farm until you see our tanks, then link up with them and proceed into the village. Clear out the village, then proceed to the artillery batteries in the hills. One antitank rocket apiece should do the job. Turn on night vision as it is dark then access your command map and set a path for Bravo team straight to the village. Take Alpha due north and take out a few enemies that along the way. When Bravo team spots a tank and reverts to Hold, switch over to Gordon and look at the tank. You should hear planes fly by overhead and see explosions surround the enemy tank, destroying it. It's pretty awesome. Put Bravo back on Advance and switch back to Jacobs on Alpha. Continue heading north and as you near the road, look to the east and you should see a tank. Switch to Tunney and take out his M136 to blast away the tank. Continue east toward the village and take cover in one of the holes near there. Bravo team should arrive shortly to aid you. Take look for enemies on both sides of the road in the abandoned buildings. As I always so, be patient and let them come to you. Head further east once it is clear and look for any more enemies in a wrecked area on the south side of the road. In all there are about seven to ten enemies in the village area. Make sure also to clear the area before friendly tank and the soldiers come down the road. Objective Complete - 1. Secure the Village From here, split up the two teams and have each tackle one artillery. I have Alpha team take the North Artillery and Bravo take the East Artillery, but it really doesn't matter. Open up your command map and set a path near the eastern box. Place the destination point just west of the artillery so that Bravo has some cover from it. Now take Alpha team and head north to an elevated area where the tank is. Be aware of any enemy soldiers patrolling the base of the hill. You can actually see the tank as you approach, so switch to Tunney, take good aim with the M136, and destroy it. Objective Complete - 3. Destroy North Artillery Head up the hill and take out any other enemies up there. If your Threat Indicator glows red, the remaining enemies can usually be found behind some rocks, so proceed with caution. Once it is clear, switch to Bravo team at the base of the East Artillery and send Alpha back to the extraction zone. Move to where you can see the tank and take it out with your demolitions expert. They're blaming President Arbatov and the other political leaders - there might be a coup brewing. We're sending you into Vilnius, the Lithuanian capital. The Russians have held it since the first week of the invasion and it's been the site of some significant action by the Lithuanian underground - the place is practically in ruins. You'll be escorting a tank column into the heart of the old city to liberate what's left of the presidential palace and some other key locations. As the Russians learned in Grozy, sending armor into an urban setting without proper infantry support is suicide. The remaining Russian troops have their backs to the wall so they're not going down without a fight. Watch out for snipers and antitank rockets fired from the shelter of the ruins. All Tanks Survive RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH This mission is pretty hectic, and it can be frustrating at times, especially when the enemy blows up your tanks. Basically you have to escort your tanks to the Cathedral area at the end, protecting them from numerous enemy tanks and antitank rockets. Instead of staying by the tanks at all times however, I recommend having your teams scout out ahead and take some shortcut that the tanks cannot. This gives you plenty of time to eliminate any threats before the tanks get there. At the start, leave Bravo team for the moment and head over to the left side of the tanks. An enemy will spring out from the heap ahead and fire a wild antitank rocket that will kill you if you stay to the right. Proceed on and you will come across an enemy tank to your left and a couple of soldiers. The lead tank will blow this one up, so you don't have to do anything except help kill the soldiers by it. Once this area is clear, make a path for Bravo team just southwest of the box in the lower middle of the command map. They will take a little shortcut through the buildings to get there. This is the presidential square, where two enemy tanks lie in wait. As Alpha, proceed ahead down the road and take out the two enemies at the end. Switch to Tunney and look left onto another road to spot a tank. Use an antitank rocket to take it out then take out an enemy soldier to the left in a little wrecked area (he has antitank rockets). Now proceed to kill the remaining three soldiers in the area. Objective Complete - 1. Clear University Defenders Switch over to Bravo team now, who should be lying low at the southwest corner of the Presidential Square. First off, make a path for Alpha team in a little alley south of the northeastern box, which is the Cathedral area. Now switch to your demolitions expert and peek out north. You should see a tank there, which you should eliminate. Now peek out from the mound there and take out the four soldiers in the area before taking out the second tank at the northeast corner of the area. Objective Complete - 2. Clear Presidential Square Switch back to Cohen and exit out the northern gate of the area. Scout out ahead on the road and continue with it as it turns north then west again. You should see a group of about four soldiers down the road here. Proceed to mow them down and then head up to that intersection. Switch back over to Tunney on Alpha team, who should be undetected in a little alley south of the Cathedral area. Peek out into the area and eliminate the enemy tank at the west side of the area. The enemies near the cathedral will be pissed now and fire at you. Take your time and pick them off, completing the mission. Objective Complete - 3. Clear Cathedral Defenders Objective Complete - X. Public support for Ultranationalists has dropped like a rock, and there are rumors that the military has President Arbatov under house arrest. It looks like things in Russia are getting ugly fast. Your next mission is a simple rescue. Ten days ago two U.S. soldiers were taken prisoner when their humvee was ambushed near Ludza. They're currently being held at a POW camp in Russia. Normally Washington would let them sit out the duration, but one of them is a senator's son. Your job is to go in and bring them out alive. Security is tight - searchlights around the perimeter, well-armed guards inside. Don't try to shoot your way in - you'll never make it. Go in quiet with silenced weapons, secure the guard post, locate the soldiers, and get out. And while you're there, be on the lookout for one other prisoner, a guy named Moroshkin. Supposedly he's being held in the Infirmary. HQ says that he's some kind of major dissident and that springing him would make more trouble for the Ultranationalists in Moscow. I recommend taking one team into the base, while you have your other team cover the entire perimeter around the base, taking out any enemies in the area. So open up your command map and set a path for Bravo down to the southeast corner, then the southwest corner, and then back up to the extraction zone, and set them off. Follow them a little while heading south towards the entrance into the base. Avoid the spotlight, just because the alarm that goes off is highly annoying. You should soon come across two enemy soldiers near an entrance. Help Bravo take them out and then shoot two more soldiers in the tower just above the entrance. Objective Complete - 1. Secure an Entrance Now head right and open the door to get into the base. Walk up the stairs to your right and you should find the two dead bodies of the soldiers you killed. Walk back down the other stairs and cautiously open the door. Peek out and you should see a group of about four soldiers in the middle of a barracks area. Find some cover and take them out, then proceed west to another door leading further inside the base. Walk up the stairs here and down the other set and open the door at the bottom. Peek out and you should see lots of enemies around. If you look far off to the right a little bit, you should see the two POWs with two enemies guarding them nearby. Once the enemies detect you, they will sound the alarm, so be swift in taking them out. Head off to the left, though there is no cover, and kneel or lie flat. Take out all enemies in sight and leave the two guarding the POWs last. Switch to Stone and down them with a couple good shots. Now switch back to Jacobs and leave the prisoners alone for now. Head south to the infirmary and take out any enemies you come across. Launch a grenade into the tower across from the infirmary to kill any enemies in there. Enter the infirmary up the ramp and open the door on the right before the opening. Head down this room and open the door to the left at the end. Kill the soldier right in front of you as you open the door, and proceed ahead to the room where he was to find Moroshkin. Touch him to secure him and then head back to the POWs, also touching them to get them to follow you. Objective Complete - X. Our goal is to whittle down the base of support for the leaders of the coup. As a result, we're launching a series of covert raids against key military bases that are backing the Ultranationalists. Your first target is the naval base at Murmansk - it's the headquarters of their northern fleet and a major operations center for their submarine service. Head right over to the Corvette (not the car, the boat) and wait for two enemies to appear. Kill both of them, then switch to Henkel and plant a charge anywhere on the boat. Objective Complete - 1. Destroy Corvette Bravo team should be handling a couple more enemies in the area. Help them out if there are still some around and then continue heading south. Kill two more enemy soldiers along the way and, when Bravo veers off east to the fuel tanks, continue heading south towards a little outpost. Shoot the guard in it then switch to Bravo, who should be at the destination by now. Kill any enemies in the area should there be any remaining and then switch to the demolitions expert and plant a charge on the structure in the middle of the two large tanks. Objective Complete - X. Destroy Fuel Tanks Make sure Bravo team gets down from that area safely (they like to jump off the sides, wounding them) and then switch back over to Alpha team. Make a path for Bravo team in your command map all the way to the upper right corner of the map, past where the submarine is. Now resume with Alpha and head to about the center of the map where a parking lot is with a building in the middle. Shoot the two enemies standing out side then proceed to the house. Carefully open the door and peek inside and check for any enemies. Then head east into a hallway and peek inside the opening to the right, taking out any enemies in that room with the vending machine. Head down to the stairs to the left, eliminating any more enemies there and head through the northern doors outside. From here, head due east and you should see another door up ahead. Open the door and head right down the hallway and you will come to an opening. Proceed with caution in this room as there are four enemies among the shelves and you do not know where they are. Stay low and try to hit them undetected. Once they are all eliminated, head back out of this building and switch over to Bravo team. Walk back southeast from where you are to a brown door and open it. Enter the submarine area and carefully proceed south where the sub is. Instead of planting a demolition charge on it, however, just take out the enemies in the area. They are on both sides of the building, but they are not hard to spot. Once you take out the four or five remaining enemies, the mission is complete. Objective Complete - 2. Destroy Sub Objective Complete - 3. Reach Extraction Zone You Have Neutralized the Sub Base. Afterwards, you get to view a decent cutscene of the submarine blowing up and slowly sinking. Nice particle effects. M13 Arctic Sun | ========================= Arkhangel'sk, Russia 04:00|10/03/08|Cloudy BRIEFING TEXT It looks like civil war. The Centrists in the government and military have formed an alliance against the Ultranationalists. We're getting reports of Russian-on-Russian fighting from Smolensk to Vladivostok. We're continuing our strategy of raids against military bases that are backing the coup. Your next target is the air base at Arkhangel'sk. It's the test site for both the S-37 "Berkut", a new experimental fighter prototype, and the Ka-50 "Hokum", Russia's next generation attack helicopter. Your objectives are to plant demo charges in both the "Berkut" and "Hokum" hangars as well as completely shutting down operations in the control tower. Intel indicates that security at Arkhangel'sk is light - apparently there's been a sharp increase in the number of desertions since the coup - so don't worry about trying to finesse your way in. Based on our analysis the best approach is a direct frontal assault. Hit them hard and fast and get out as quickly as possible. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Klaus Henkel - Kit 1 Scott Ibrahim - Kit 4 Team Bravo: Lindy Cohen - Kit 1 Default Demolitions - Kit 1 Astra Galinsky - Kit 4 OBJECTIVES 1. Destroy Junction Box 2. Destroy S37 Berkut 3. Destroy Ka50 Hokum 4. Reach Extraction Zone RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH Ahh, yet another mission requiring you to blow up stuff. This mission is a bit more spread out than the previous mission, so I don't recommend going for all the enemies as some are located in useless buildings, though you can if you wish. At the start, you will be facing a gate. Head over to the left to an opening and then head way back to the right and take out two enemies on the east side of the building. Now open your command map and make a path for Bravo all the way to the northwest box on the map. Place the target in the general area of the building, but not inside the building. Continue on with Alpha, heading northwest toward the Junction Box in between two buildings but attached to the western one. Take out the three soldiers guarding it and then use Henkel to plant a charge on it. Objective Complete - 1. Destroy Junction Box Continue on with Alpha team and head due north toward a fairly large building. Walk over to the west side and enter the opening here. Walk down the hall and cautiously open the door. Get some cover and then pick off the four soldiers in the room. There are three at ground level and one up a level near a banister. Once the area is clear, again switch to Henkel and plant a demolition charge on the helicopter in the center of the room. Objective Complete - 3. Destroy Ka50 Hokum Exit out of the building the way you came in and head directly west toward the hanger with the S37 Berkut. Bravo team should be there by now so take Alpha team around the perimeter and kill any enemies you come across. You should notice a door at the back of the building. Send Bravo into the hanger from the front using your command map, then take the back way in to flank the enemies inside. There are only about four of them, so take them out and plant a final charge on the jet with Henkel. Objective Complete - 2. Destroy S37 Berkut Now simply head south from the hanger to the extraction zone. Objective Complete - 4. Reach Extraction Zone All Team Members Are Safely in the Extraction Zone. Yet another weak cutscene is played. Basically, all the lights go out and then there is an explosion in the hanger. Good stuff. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ========================= | n. M14 Willow Bow | ========================= Toropec, Russia 13:00|10/23/03|Snow BRIEFING TEXT Early reports indicate that the Centrist forces are stalled in their fight with the Ultranationalists. Popular support for the Ultranationalists has withered away to practically nothing - they lost all legitimacy when they executed the President - but they still control a sizeable chunk of the military. Acting Prime Minister Karpin has privately requested a NATO force to help the loyal Russian troops crush the coup. 1st Armored Division has already crossed the Latvian border and is headed for Moscow. Satellite images show the main Ultranationalist force massing near Toropec, about 200 klicks east of our current position. Your mission is to link up with them and spearhead the assault. Expect extremely heavy resistance - armor, Spetznaz, the works. You'll need to take both passes through the mountains and hold them against all Russian counterattacks. But if we achieve a breakthrough here, the coup is finished. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Dieter Munz - Kit 2 Scott Ibrahim - Kit 1 Team Bravo: Lindy Cohen - Kit 1 Nigel Tunney - Kit 2 Guram Osadze - Kit 2 OBJECTIVES 1. Take North Pass 2. Take South Pass 3. Take Top of the Hill 4. Neutralize Russian Camp RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH I don't really like this mission as it is large and open, and the enemies are very hard to spot in the environment. I often will be walking somewhere and another member of my team will take out a couple of enemies from who knows where. Just keep a sharp eye out in this mission and rely heavily on your CPU teammates to get you through. I do not recommend splitting your teams up in this mission. It is better to make paths for Bravo team and have them take point while you follow. This way, they can take out most of the enemies and reveal the rest. At the start, use your command map to make a path to the northeastern box and follow Bravo to it. Hug the rock to your right and once it ends, look to the right and take out two enemies patrolling the area. Continue on with Bravo up a hill to a house. Take out the three enemies nearby on the right. Once it is clear, make a new path in your command map to the box in the center of the map. Walk up to the top of the hill and eliminate the remaining enemies up here. Objective Complete - 3. Take Top of the Hill Objective Complete - 1. Take North Pass Regroup with Bravo team and make another path in the command map down to the southwestern box. As you proceed down with Bravo, keep an eye out for a group of enemies patrolling to the east. As you approach the Russian Camp, get some cover and line up you shots well to take out the four enemy soldiers taking cover behind sandbag bunkers. They are not very good shots so take your time and pick them off one by one. Objective Complete - 4. Neutralize Russian Camp Open up your command map once again and set another path to the last box to the southwest. Follow Bravo but, upon coming down the cliff, look for a group of about five enemies in a large alcove off to the south. Take them out and proceed on to the South Pass. As you approach it, take out the enemies on either side of the road, covered by sandbag bunkers, to complete the mission. Objective Complete - 2. Take South Pass You Have Broken Through. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ========================== | o. M15 White Razor | ========================== Moscow, Russia 11:00|11/10/08|Snow BRIEFING TEXT I never thought I'd see the U.S. troops fighting in Red Square on behalf of the Russian people. This is the final showdown, gentlemen. The Ultranationalists hold the Kremlin and not much else. We're going to finish this thing right here. First order of business is a squad of U.S. troops pinned down just to the east of your current position. Make your way through the medieval quarter, eliminate any resistance you encounter, and relieve those GI's. From there head south through the GUM department store to get to Red Square. The street will be full of refugees so watch your fire - remember that we're here as liberators, not as conquerors. Red Square is heavily defended. Be prepared for armor. There's almost no cover, but fortunately the snow should cut visibility and give you an advantage. Now get out and do your job. Let's win this one and go home. PLATOON Team Alpha: Will Jacobs - Kit 1 Nigel Tunney - Kit 1 Dieter Munz - Kit 2 Team Bravo: Lindy Cohen - Kit 1 Guram Osadze - Kit 2 Scott Ibrahim - Kit 1 OBJECTIVES 1. Relieve Troops 2. Take Nikoskaya Tower 3. Take Spasskaja Tower 4. Avoid Civilian Casualties RECRUIT WALKTHROUGH This is a great mission as it has many facets to it and many places to, through it is not so open. First off, you must relieve some US troops under attack by Russians. Open your command map and place the target just west of the northern box, making a path for Bravo team. Let them go and head south down the street. Make a left onto another street a little further on and take out the two enemy soldiers there. Make a right at the intersection ahead and you should come to a clearing with a single enemy. Shoot him and the US troops will come running out. Objective Complete - 1. Relive Troops Now make another path for Bravo team to a little alcove area a ways north of the southwestern box. They will go on ahead into the large department store through an opening to the southwest. Follow them into the building, but then turn left and open the door here. You will be facing a long hallway with many crates in it. Find and kill the two enemy soldiers patrolling here, then continue on with Bravo. Open the door opposite the one you previously opened and enter another hallway. When it turns left at the end, switch to Munz and lob a grenade, bouncing it off the wall, up the ramp. The blast should kill the soldier up there. Afterwards proceed on up and take out another soldier in this hallway. Open the door at the end of the hallway and head southwest out of the building. You should come to a massive, open area. Get some cover off to the side and take out any enemies that approach you. After a short while, an enemy tank will appear from the southwest. Switch to Tunney, take good aim at the moving tank, and destroy it. Many enemies will start appear from everywhere now. Take out the group far off to the southeast and then keep your eye on the bus to your left. Enemies like to come from behind it. Once it is clear, head east, hugging the building wall. Objective Complete - 2. Take Nikoskaya Tower Move Bravo team over to the east into another alcove for cover and follow them over there. You should see many enemies converging on you from the southeast. Lie low and take them out before proceeding on. Stay to the north and you should see another enemy tank coming your way. Have Tunney take it out and then pick off the enemies following it. Take out the last remaining enemy at a post behind some sandbags and you've beat the campaign mode! Objective Complete - 3. Take Spasskaja Tower Objective Complete - 4. Avoid Civilian Casualties Mission Complete. You now get to view the ending movie, which is pretty cool. The ghosts are leading away some Russian officer when some hotshot sneaks out from a mound, aiming to kill the ghosts. Then, from nowhere, you here a sniper rifle being shot, and the Russian goes down. A sniper then gets up from his post at a wrecked building and the soldier thanks him for saving his life. It's touching, really. The scenery then changes from snowy to clear and bright and the US Army is shown marching the streets of Russia. =============================================================================== *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* I V . They will then follow you. HAMBURGER HILL There is a zone in the center of the map. If your team is the only one to have someone in the zone, you will get one point for every second that this is the case. A the end of the game, the team with the most points wins. DOMINATION There are five zones spread around the map. If someone from your team can get into the zone by themselves, the zone will change to your team's color. It will remain so until another team captures the zone. For every second that your team owns a zone, you will get a point. When the game ends, the team with the most points wins. SIEGE The smallest team starts in a base that they have to defend. The other teams must get into the base. If an attacking team can a get a team member into the base for five seconds, they win. Both Domination and Siege must be unlocked before you can play them. ===================== | c. Solo Games | ===================== Solo games pit you against all of the other players, with no allies. SHARPSHOOTER The person with the most kills (whether alive or dead) at the end of the mission wins. HAMBURGER HILL This game functions just like the team game, except there is only one person on your team. CAT and MOUSE All players start as "cats." The first player to get a kill becomes the "mouse," and hit kit is reduced to just a pistol. Anytime the mouse gets a kill, he gets a point. Any cat that kills the mouse becomes the mouse, while the former mouse respawns with his original kit. Kills recorded while you are a cat don't count toward your final score, and the player with the most points at the end is the winner. Cat and Mouse must be unlocked before you can play Cat and Mouse games. Game Tips | ==================== - SINGLEPLAYER TIPS - - Take your time in missions and wait out an enemy. Be patient and they will usually come to you, providing you with a clean shot to take them out. Give yourself a good amount of time to aim as well. - Save often during missions. Things could be going well one instant and one headshot could take out a vital member or your platoon. Remember, deaths are permanent in the campaign, so you never want to lose anyone. - Night vision can be an asset during daytime missions. Enemies can be hard to spot among brush and trees, so try using night vision as it highlights enemies slightly more than the environment. - Unlock the special weapons for each of the specialists as soon as you can. They are much better than the ones they come with and will greatly benefit you in missions. - If a soldier gets wounded during a mission, that soldier will not be healed unless he/she sits out a mission. If you continue to use a wounded soldiers in missions, even if they do not get shot, they will continue to be wounded. Take wounded soldiers out for a mission and let them heal. - MULTIPLAYER TIPS - - In the POW Camp crawl under a cabin and stand up. The walls will disappear and you can easily shoot out of them and no-one will see you.
