1.What makes metal slimes so special?

There are 3 kinds of metal slimes. The normal ones, liquid metal slimes and metal 
king slimes. They all have a very high defence and pretty low hp. If you kill these 
monsters they will give you a huge amount of exp. This seems pretty easy, but 
unfortunately it isn’t. When you fight those slimes you will only be able to hit 1 
or maybe if you are lucky 2. Now, this isn’t the only problem. Usually after 2 or 3 
turns they just run away! So it is important to kill them as fast as possible. Still 
metal slime hunting is a good way to earn many exp points in a short while.

2.Where to find them.

Metal slimes:               -Ruined abbey (common)
                            -Next to the river by the river side chapel (rare)
                            -East of Argonia forest (common)

Liquid metal slimes:     -Castle trodain (very rare)
                         -Where you find the godbird’s soulstone (quite common)
                         -A nameless island in the southeast of the ocean (rare)

Metal king slimes:        -Dragon graveyard (rare)
                          -Untrodden groves (rare)
                          -Black citadel (rare)

Now there is one place where all three metal slimes are, howlwind hill. This is 
heaven for metal slime hunters! It is located in the arcadia region (near rydon’s 
tower ) and the place is marked with a white cloud) There is only one setback, you 
will only be able to reach this place when your near the end of the game.This is 
because you need a godbird’s soulstone, so you can fly there. You will know if you 
are in the right place when the only monsters you find there are slimes (regular 
ones as well).

3.How to kill them.

First what you don’t want to do:
 
-Use stat lowering spells.
-Use fire/ice/electric attack spells.
-Just don’t use any spell at all.
-Tension doesn’t work on them.
-Oomph doesn’t work either.
-Deploy a monster team (except if they have a high chance of critical hits)

What you should do:

When fighting normal metal slimes, just use the normal attack of the 4 characters. 
Because they have only 4 hp it shouldn’t be to hard to kill them this way. When 
fighting liquid or king metal slimes however, you should make sure that the hero’s 
spear lvl is at least at 12, 59 is even better. And  make sure that yangus’ axe lvl 
is at least 19, 66 is even better. This is because now they got 50% chance of 
hitting critical, wich means the slime is dead in one hit. This is the only way to 
kill metal slimes except for the regular ones. Jessica and angelo can’t really do 
anything, but just keep attacking with them and hope they launch a critical hit.

4.Specific information about metal slimes.

Metal slime:

Hp: 4        Def: 4096       Exp: 1350            Items dropped:- seed of defence
                                                                - seed of agility

Liquid metal slime:

Hp: 8         Def: 4096       Exp: 10050          Items dropped:- seed of agility
                                                                - elevating shoes

Metal king slime:

Hp: 20        Def: 4096       Exp: 30010 (!)     Items dropped:- slime crown
                                                               - orichalcum
