So it doesn't have many spoilers. I have left most of the story out but not all. Introduction ------------- Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch, published by Activision and due for release on November 9,2010 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS (separate version developed by n-Space) consoles. Officially announced on April 30, 2010, the game is the seventh installment of the Call of Duty series and the third game in the series to be developed by Treyarch. It is a sequel to the developer's previous title in the series, Call of Duty: World at War. It is the first Call of Duty title set during the Cold War era. I am a huge fan of the Call of Duty franchise and have been since Call of Duty 2. I wasn't really pleased with Call of Duty 3 but Modern Warfare and up, I have really enjoyed. The stories are always a main interest point for me even though the multiplayer is what most people go for. I really enjoyed Infinity Ward's versions of the game a lot better than Treyarch's but Treyarch always seemed to throw in little pieces here and there that really made the game a bit better. I'm actually glad they got out of the WWII era and made something a little bit more up to date. You never see any games based on the Cold War. This is my first walkthrough for a whole game and I hope you enjoy. Chapters ------------ When you first get onto the main menu, you will notice you are in an interrogation room setting that seems to look a bit like SAW. Anyway, this is actually how the beginning of the game starts when you start a new game. You can actually get up out of the chair by pressing Right Trigger and Left Trigger or R2 and L2 back and forth. When you are up from you chair, you can walk around a bit and if you want to return to your chair, press A on Xbox360 and X on PS3. There is a terminal you can access behind your chair and if you enter DOA, you can play Dead Ops which is a little Smash TV style shooter. You can also enter ZORK and this will pop an Achievement or Trophy. If you complete the game on Veteran you also get achievements for a level here and there and an achievement for completing the whole game on Veteran but it is your choice what to play on. Anyway, return to your chair and start a New Game and this will trigger a cutscene of you being questioned about who are you and what were you doing before you got caught. You will keep getting shocked here and there. You will then start to have flashbacks of what you were doing. ------------------- IIA. Operation 40 ------------------- You start out seeing a match lit up on the screen. Then when the light turns on you are in a club in Cuba. You being told about your target Fidel Castro. After a bit of dialogue, the Cuban military will come in speaking spanish and throw a woman down. One of the guards will come up you asking where you are from with hostility and then you friend Woods will grab his arm and knife him into the table. You will then draw a handgun and shoot the distracted guard. The man behind the bar Carlos will toss you an assault rifle (M16). You are now in control of your character. You can look out the windows until they open up the front door. Now make your way outside and down the street. You are fighting off the Cuban police. When you get a little down the street, two police cars will ride past and crash. Take out the guys that get out and continue down the street a bit and you will see a road block. Now make a left down the alley. When you get to the end of the alley, you will enter a car. You will start the car up and now hit LT or L1 to reverse and then you will hit RT or R1 to go. Drive through the streets, you can't turn or anything. Just hold RT or R1 and the screen will go white and you will be back in the interrogation room. The people holding you captive will shock you and you will now be in the forrest. You will see a flare saying thats the signal and now you will zipline down to the compound. When you slide down the zipline, your two team mates will take out the guards. Now enter the building and they will tell you to take out a guard with his back turned. Run up and melee him from behind and this will choke him to death. Now go out the front door and you will see the Cuban military passing by. Let them pass and now follow Woods up the path. He is the guy with the Yellow FOLLOW over his head. Make your way up to the front across the path. You will see a guy running up some stairs. Go ahead and shoot him and kill the other guy that runs out at the top of the stairs along with the two guys that run right in front of you from behind the fence. Run up the stairs and Woods will open up the door to the house up there. Clear out the small room and then take out the guys that are on the right outside path. Intel - As soon as you enter this building, take out the two enemies and go straight in front ot the door and it is right behind the rocket launcher. Make your way down the path up to the gate. You will now go up some more steps into another house. Kill the two guys that run at you and now clear the house. Make your way through the hall killing all the guys that have hidden behind makeshift barriers. Once you have cleared the L shaped hallway, you are told to stack up on the door at the end of the house. You will breach the door and kill the 3 guys in that room in slow motion. You can pick up the RPK gun off the coffee table in the middle of the room and now breach the second door. When you go through this one, Castro will be hiding behind a woman. Shoot him in the head with your pistol. This will unlock an achievement or trophy. Now shoot the woman because she will attack you. Make your way out the doors on the left and go along the porch walkway. Kill the 3 guys here and continue to follow Woods. Make your way through the second set of doors and see Bowman throw a guy over the balcony. Intel - Go in the room that Bowman just came out of and grab the intel off the table in the room to the left. Clear out all the enemies up here and then make your way downstairs. Make your way to the front door and fight off the soldiers in the courtyard. Make your way out the front door and get on the left side and pick up the rocket launcher and you can shoot enemies with it or if you want to be lazy, you can just lay behind the barrier and let your team mates kill a few people and then you will get support from Carlos and then make your way to the sugar fields. Make your way through the sugar field and you'll come up to a blown stone wall and you will see a warzone down beneath you. You will now have to rappel down. So run down the mountain side and you will come to a hanger. Intel - In this hangar, on the left. You will see a short stair piece. walk up it to pick up this intel. Make your way through and fight off the enemies on the airfield. You are now fighting your way across the airfield to the marker. When you get to the airplane, you will climb on and get a light machine gun with unlimited ammo. Now take out the enemies shooting at you on the right. There are quite a few, just hold down the trigger and keep killing. Once you have gotten around the airfield a bit, Bowman will say the road is blocked and you will jump off and get on the anti air craft gun. Clear the road and the plane will take off leaving you. You will then be ambushed while on the gun. You will be knocked out. You will come to and you will see the real Castro and he will tell you you killed a double. You will now be given to Castro's general and you will flash back to your seat in the interrogation room and this will end the first level. ------------ IIB. Vorkuta ------------ You wake up back in the interrogation room and you here Mason talking about how it was a set up and they knew we were coming. You will then start the next level in a flash back. You wake up getting your ass beat in a Russian labor camp. It is a distraction to get a hold of a guard. You will hit Reznov and he will taunt the guard. Get up and attack the guard from behind. You will now be armed with a knife. Follow Reznov down the train tunnel. Stab the 1 guard that tries to attack you and finish making your way down the tunnel. Reznov will introduce you to a huge beastly guy Sergie. Make your way to the elevator and ride it up. There will be some short dialogue and the elevator will stop. Sergie will get off and kill a guard with a pick. Pick up the guard's gun and make your way forward. The inmates will open the door and be quickly picked off with mounted turrets. Follow Viktor and Sergie out the door and run to the right behind the coal mine cart. Follow closely behind them picking off a guard here and there on the right and left while you make your way down the track. Reznov will call out what side you need to protect. When you reach the end, wait for Reznov to run for it and follow him through the gate, past the second gate and through the snow yard to the building. Once inside, Reznov will tell Sergie to open the arms locker and tell you to go upstairs. Intel - Grab the intel off the table on the left after going up the stairs. Go up the second set of stairs and use the slingshot to take out the towers. You can get an achievement/trophy here if you nail all three is just three shots. If you mess up, just quit level and resume only if you are seeking achievements or trophies. After you take out all three towers, make your way back down stairs and get a shotgun. Make your way outside through the new door and shoot the lock off the fence. Kill the two guards down the alley to your right and go down that way. Take out the two guards there and the guard on the roof. Finish fighting off the rest of the enemies and make your way to the building at the end of the courtyard. Enter the building and go upstairs. The helicopter will kill two guys on the roof access. Run out and pick up the harpoon gun and shoot the helicopter. This will bring it down. Now run back downstairs and out the back door. Run to the buidling across the way and into it. You will fight off some enemies in the hallway. Pick up the AK47 with the Grenade Launcher on it. This will help clear the enemies out hiding behind walls. Two guys will come out with huge shields in front of them. Fire a grenade and this will take them out. Make your way up the stairs and clear the enemies on the upper hallway out. Once you are near the end of the hallway, they will try and seal you in. Sergie will run up and hold the door, run and slide under the door.(it does it automatically). Once you are on the otherside, run to the marker and hit the switch. Now if you leave the little switch room and turn right, you will see a really dark hallway. Intel - In the really dark room on a table on the left. Now continue to follow Reznov up the stairs. Kill off the two enemies in front of you and then run down the catwalk to the right. Once in this room, wait a minute and a heavy will bust through the door. Hit him with everything you have. Grenades, bullets, whatever. Once he is taken out, you must now protect Reznov. Escort him back into the previous room and he will open the huge metal door. Protect him by killing off the soldiers and then some heavies will come. Hopefully you still have some grenade launchers left because this works well on them. When Reznov gets the door open, run in there and grab the minigun. Now take out the remaining soldiers in the building and make your way outside. Fight off the enemies on the path. Shouldn't be hard with the minigun. When you get around the first corner going to the left, a truck will pull up. Shoot it with the minigun to blow it up. Make your way down the next path killing all you see. Once you get to the little open spot, you will get hit with tear gas. You will now pass out and you will see Reznov dragging you. You now come back to the interrogation room and then he will flash back to the next part of the level. You wake up in a room with some motorcycles. Intel - Behind Reznov's motorcycle. Get on the other motor cycle and make your way out through the window. Ride marker to marker and you can shoot here. Shoot when you need to and just continue going marker to marker. You will hijack a truck and then you are put in control of a turret. Shoot the trucks and motorcycles until you come to the train. Reznov will tell you to jump and he will not join you. You then go back to the interrogation room. This will end level 2. -------------- IIC. U.S.D.D. -------------- This whole mission is really a cutscene. The level starts with it telling you you are going to the Pentagon with Hudson. You start on a helicopter and then when it lands, you follow Hudson to a car. You are then drove to the Pentagon and briefed on your mission. It ends when you get your objective from the president. -------------------- IID. Executive Order -------------------- You wake up and you are watching a helicopter fly over head. You will raise up you gun and now you must follow Woods. Follow him through the broken tunnels and you will come to the end. Woods will say that something is wrong and he will hand you some binoculars. You will scout the area and see what you must do. You will see Weaver get stabbed in the eye and then you will zoom out. You now must follow Woods across the road and get in cover behind the pipeline. Sneak around the pipeline and you will now be prompted to stealth kill two guards. After you kill your guy, you will drag the bodies into a broken tunnel. You will black out to the interrogation room and then wake up tightening up your boot. You will see Woods in a ski mask. Follow him over to the two guys running up. Woods will talk his way past them. Just continue to follow Woods down the path and you will meet up with Bowman. Walk your way up to the missile silo and you will see Bowman knock out some guards. Now enter the silo with Woods and clear the three guys out of the room. Go upstairs and clear the five guys off the second floor. Now make your way up to the third floor and clear the four guys out here. Intel - Right before going up the ladder, grab the intel off the terminal. Now make your way up the ladder and push the guy over the balcony up here. Now clear the two remaining guys from the top as well. Woods will climb up the ladder and hand you a Crossbow. You will now have to protect your allies. Shoot the enemies vehicles with the crossbow. This will clear them out a lot faster. After you have killed a few enemies, you will be told to fire a zipline into the building window. Shoot it and you will slide into the window, you will go into slow mode and just shoot everyone with your MP5. You will now black out and come to following Bowman and Woods. You have a timer and you must fight your way through. Jump the rail and slide down into the gully. Shoot the enemies that are running and gunning at you. Now make your way down the walkway and up the ladder. Continue to fight off the enemies that are hiding behind rails and the cooling units. Keep fighting your way down. Don't forget you have a cross bow for guys hiding behind cooling units. You will come to a stairwell leading down. Kill the enemies hiding behind the barriers down there and make your way across. Fight through here and turn left and fight off the enemies here. Make your through up the small set of stairs and kill off the enemies on the left here. You will see quite a few guys dual wielding pistols. Kill off the enemies and you will come to a wall you have to put C4 on. Blow through the wall. Enter the room and you will be in a little control room. Intel - In the back of the room that you just blew a hole through the wall. You will be told that you must do Plan B. Run to the marker and pick up the prototype rocket. Launch it into the missile. You will now follow Weaver into some tunnels. Pick up a shotgun and fight your way down the first hall and turn right. Shoot the enemies that run through the tunnel and the guys shooting way in the back. If you are playing on Veteran, you can just sit back and shoot the enemies as they run out and let your team kill some. Once the room is clear, run through the lift room and kill the two enemies down the long hallway. Run through the long hallway and you come to a control room crawling with enemies on the right. Take it slow and pick off the enemies. Once you clear out the control room, you will have another hallway to clear out. Work your way down this hallway. Intel - At the end of the hall on your right is a mini control center with a projection screen in it. It is on a terminal. Once you get to the end of the hallway, you should get a checkpoint and now continue to fight down the hallway that leads left. Kill the three enemies that run at you and make your way down the hall. You will have to kill three guys that run through the busted smoking pipe. Make it to the end of the hall and the level ends. ----------------- IIE. S.O.G. ----------------- You start in a tent in Vietnam with Fortunate Son playing. Reminds me of Forrest Gump, heh. Anyway, you walk out the tent and you are greeted by Woods. You will get in a jeep and Woods will give you the details on what is going on. You will then start getting bombed and now you will run into a trench. Make your way through the trench. You will come out into the open. Just keep making your way through and a hostile will jump on you. Quickly tap the button it shows and you will get him off of you. Continue down the trench path. You will come to a fork in the path, go to the left, no point in clearing out the right side. Keep going killing off enemies as you see them. You will come to a point where a tank falls into the trench, crawl under it. Just stay crouched down and make your way down the trench. Grab the first detonator and just detonate it. Make your way down and grab the second one and do the same thing. Now run into the makeshift house. Grab the turret and take out as many soldiers as you can until it says objective complete. Intel - When you complete the objective, go up the hill to the long tent full of cargo. It is on some boxes right in front. Now make your way to the next makeshift house and grab the rocket launcher and take out the three tanks. Once this is complete, make your way back to the Follow target so you can continue to follow Woods. Follow him down the ladder and continue down the trench a bit. Pick up the Chine Lake Launcher. Go out into the open and you will see a huge warzone. Wait for Woods to run down and stay up top and pick off a few enemies on the right lower side. Wait for the Napalm Strike and then run down the first stairs and run to the ride bunker. Killer the one guy in there and there may be two guys guarding it if you didn't take them out earlier. You can stock up on some ammo in here. Be warned that the enemies infinitely respawn while you make your way down the hill. You are gonna fight turret to turret. The first one is behind the barrier that Woods is hiding behind. Shoot enough of the enemies to get to the next turret that is in the lower bunker on the left. Intel - There is a middle bunker on the hill. You will see it from the bunker with the turret on the far left. Enter it and see the intel on the window seal. After you see Woods kick down a barrel, run over and kick the other barrel covered in claymores down the hill as well. Quickly run more to the right and kick the last barrel off too. This will get you a checkpoint. Now follow Woods around the busted trench and you will come to a hit with a bunch of burnt down trees. Fight to take the hill. Shoot the guys up above and make your way up the hill. I found it easiest to go up the right side of the hill and shoot the enemies on the left. Once you get to the top, it will say objective complete and you will be blown down on the ground. You will see your squad getting killed and Woods will get knocked on the ground. You will pull out a Revolver and now you must shoot the guy about to kill Woods. After this you will get back to your feet and follow Woods into the trench. Make your way through the burning trench. After you make the first turn on the right Intel - There will be a piece of intel on a makeshift shelf. Right before leaving the burning trench house. Has a big American flag hung up in the room. Follow Woods into the jeep. You will have a light machine gun and a china lake launcher here. Don't really worry about killing enemies on foot right now. You will be taking out tanks. You will come around the first bend. This is the first tank to take out. You can really just take this one out with a straight shot. After it is destroyed, you will go down the path a bit and take a slight right. You will have to destroy two tanks here. You will now drive back and around the bend a bit and now you have a tank right in front of you. Shoot it and now look to your left. The other is a bit in the distance. After you destroy that one, look over your left shoulder and the last one is coming your way. If you destroy all six tanks with only six rockets, you will get an achievement/trophy as soon as you exit the jeep. This ends this level. ------------------ IIF. The Defector ------------------ You start the level by rappelling down from a helicopter that gets shot down. You will fly through a window to the building. You will see Woods get up and take out a few guards and he will toss you a Spas shotgun. Go out of the room into the hallway. Kill the three guys that run at you. Make your way down the burning hall and you will see a helicopter gun down the enemies in front of the windows. Make your way down around and kill the enemies guarding the next room. As soon as you enter the next room you will see a guard attacking a civilian, kill him and make your way up. You will see a bunch of civilians running getting shot at. Shoot the soldiers through the windows and make your way around. When you come around to the next room, you will see two guys looking over a balcony. Take them out and another guy will run up the stairs. Take him out and now take out the three guys down and the two guys hiding behind walls across the way. Make your way down the stairs and you will see a blown through wall. Kill the two guys in here and get ready to breach the next room. You will kick the door down. Kill the guy sitting there and the guy that runs into the room. Move to the next room and shoot the two guys that run out the room in front of you and the guy that runs around the corner. Kill the few guys across the way and sneak through. If you make it to the end of the right side before falling off the balcony, there will be a room full of guns. Kill the three guys down below. Once the room is cleared, you will hear Bowman yell clear and now make your way down and through the next door. Go down the hallway to the end and you will have to breach the door. As soon as you kick it down you will be attacked and saved by Reznov. Now make your way through the room and into the next hallway. Intel - The room on your immediate right holds an intel item. Make your way down the hallway and out across the courtyard. You will come to a warzone on the streets. Make your way up the crumbled buidling and get the radio from the soldier. Hit the target with air support. Now start clearing out the buildings. You can wait for your air support to keep coming back if you like, this will also net you an achievement/trophy. Kill off all the enemies on the first street and the tank will lead down the street. As soon as you've cleared the first street, run in with the two blown up cars in front of it. Intel - It is in the house when you make the first right turn down the road. After the long road. Continue to clear the second street now. Abuse your air support if you like since this will make it really easy. Go through the building that you picked the intel up from and you will be attacked by a tank. Use air support to take it out and continue down the street. It is easier to run through the building on the right side and attack. Get onto the third street and send air support on the spot marked Target. Once the target is destroyed, Woods will kick down the gate blocking the way and now make your way across the street. Woods will start trying to open a door, run up and help him. You will see a car blow up beside you and you will then black out. You wake up inside the building. Get up and now run through out the building into the next one. Run up the stairs and kill the two guys standing up here. Shoot the guys standing on the next balcony and jump through the window. You will get blown up and black out again. You will awaken in the first floor of the building you blacked out in with Reznov. Get up and make your way through the burning building. When you get to the big blown hole in the wall, kill all the enemies standing right outside. After they are cleared out, run across the open yard and into the next building. Put C4 on the ceiling and step back and detonate it. This will clear out all the enemies for the time being. After you see the tank in front of you blow up, run through the now sky open building and turn right and run in the building next to it. Intel - There is a piece of intel in this building next to the one where you blow the anti air craft gun through the ceiling. Across from this building is a building with two floors. Run up to the second floor and find Woods up there. You are now gonna have to fight off the soldiers while they try to extract you. Once you have killed quite a few, they will retreat and they will send in a tank and another squad from the south-east. You will regain air support and you can have to take out the tank, so mark the tank. As soon as you mark the tank, you will now have twenty seconds to make it to the boat that is getting you out of here. Run to the boat while you hear explosions behind you and get on. This will end the level. ------------- IIG. Numbers ------------- Intel - As soon as you start the level, when you gain control of your character. Turn around and grab the intel in the corner. As soon as the level starts, you will be torturing a man named Clark. Follow the on screen instructions to get him to talk and then you will start getting shot at. You will gain control of your character and as soon as you do, turn around and run into the corner to find a piece of intel. Kill off the enemies and pick up one of their guns because the dual wield pistols have bad accuracy. Clark will open a hatch to the floor above, so climb up it. As soon as you get up there, follow Clark around the corner and you'll see a soldier run by. Kill the three soldiers here. Run up and kill the two soldiers down this hall. Make your way to the end and kill the guy standing right outside the window on the right. Climb up the two sets of stairs and you'll get to the roof. You will see a plane fly overhead and Clark will yell snipers. Run out on the roof and take out the two guys that climb up on the right. Now don't worry about the guys shooting across the way, just run and jump. This will cause a slow mode cutscene and you will land in the room below. Clark will show you his supply of weapons, so choose what you want to play with and now go through the next door onto the street. Kill the guys that jump out of the rooms on both sides and make your way down to the end. When you get to the end you are gonna make a U shape through the next house. Kill the two guys on the lower balcony and make your way down to that house. You will then be told to go out the door on the left. Shoot the two guys across the way that chase the woman out of her home. Now shoot the guy on the floor above them. Now run out the window and climb up the roof pieces to be on the other side. Now eliminate the enemies that run to you and make your way around the roof picking off enemies as you see them. You will know you've cleared them all out because your allies will run up as you clear them out. Go down the stairs here and you'll be in a room looking out at an alley way. Kill the two guys up on the balcony at the end of the alley and now make your way through the alley and you will come to the end and have to slide down a pipe into whats looks like an old elevator shaft. Anyway, walk across it and you will see two soldiers walk underneath you, take them out and continue on. Run across the shafters on the roof and then slide down the large roof. As you are sliding down, it will go into slow mode and four enemies will run out. Take them out and then Clark will blow up his lab. You will see the explosion and Clark will say this way. You can restock on some weapons beside the pathway that Clark opens. Intel - There is a piece of intel on the ground to the left corner of where you slid off the roof. Follow Clark through the pathway and pick off the enemies that are running out on the left side roof. Once you have it pretty well cleared, fall down off the pathway and hide behind the statue. You can finish taking out the enemies from behind it. Now fall down the next roof piece and take cover behind the piece of roof that Clark is hiding behind. Take out the three guys shooting from the windows above you. One has a rocket launcher so be weary of him. After they are all cleared, fall down off the roof again and go in the house. Two guy will run bust in the door here. Take them out and now enter the hallway. Two guys will run out from the right side. Continue down the hall and guys will breach the room at the very end. Take them out and enter the room. Kill the guy in the room on the right and make your way onto the roofs from the balcony. You will come to another balcony that you must jump down to. Kill the guy that runs into that room. As soon as you exit this room, you will see a guy right in front of you inside a gate door. Kill him and go right. Kill the two guys across the way. The guy on the right has a rocket launcher. Now make your way across here to the marker and there will be a light machine gun with a drum barrel on the left side of the room. You will need to defend the area from the enemy. Hold your ground here and shoot all enemies you can while Clark opens the door. After you kill a few, run through the door and down the roof pieces. When you get to the end, jump and this will trigger a cutscene of Clark getting killed. You will be pulled up and kill the two enemies on the lower roof and run and jump onto it. Run and jump for the next and kill the two guys on the lower roof again. Jump onto the next roof and now make your way down the roof pieces. Intel - The intel will be right behind you before you fall on the last piece of roof that you slide down. Just turn around and look on the ground. You will trigger a cutscene of sliding down the roof. When you regain control, pick up the handgun and eliminate the soliders that run up to you. Hold them off and a van will come up and pick you up. This ends the level. ------------------ IIH. Project Nova ------------------ You start out in the snow. Follow Dimitri onto the truck. You will black out here and there telling the story and you will come too. You will be fighting to the Nazi outpost. Run up the hill and start taking out soldier that are standing out in the open in the far left. Now slowly make your way down to the house in the middle of the crater of snow. Take out the guys in here. Now make your way to the marker in front of the garage. You should get a checkpoint here. Now take out the enemies that run out from the next garage and make your way to it across the field of snow. Once you make it in, start taking out the enemies here so you can make your way to the marker. Go through the hangar and through the fence, making your way to the next building. Shoot the guys in the snow covered windows in the building. You can barely see them. Run across and kill any enemies that run out of the building. There will be two guys hiding behind makeshift cover inside. Take them out and enter the building. Another guy will run down stairs once inside, take him out and go upstairs. There will be two guys up here. Take them out and then go into the next room up here and take out the two guys in that room. Intel - Pick up the intel off the right side desk. Now make your way back downstairs and to the next target. Exit the building and head right. You will now be in control of mortar strikes. I found it easiest to go down the left side. Quickly run to the left side building before the enemies can mount that turret and slowly make your way down. Take out the guy on the roof on the right side with the rocket launcher and when you get to the end door of the building that is on fire. Pick off the guy on the turret and the guys in the window on the left of it. Now throw a smoke grenade under the turret so the mortar will take it out. Now make your way up into the building on the right of where the turret was and throw some smoke grenades at the enemy nests blocking the hangar. Once cleared, run into the hangar. Intel - Check the back wall once the hangar is cleared. Now make your way through the door on the left following your team. You will run out onto a snowy battlefield. Same as before, take the houses on the left. The enemies will keep respawning if you don't move up so take out a few and run up. Go through the house on the left and throw a smoke grenade at the MG turret. Try not to throw it under the platform but right in front of it. You can't actually destroy this turret just the enemies shooting it. Once it is cleared, run under the shelter and fight off the enemies guarding the door underneath. Enter the doorway. Take out the enemies that keep spawning in the left side of the room and hiding behind that table. Now you have to go upstairs, so go upstairs, there are no enemies. Just make your way across and you will enter a room with Steiner. He will want to go to Dragovich. You will fade out and come back to following your comrades to an old ship. Just walk through the old ship. When you open the second door, you will watch a cutscene. After that you will be locked in a cell and the door will be blown open. Now shoot the soldiers that are attacking the room. Move up to the door and kill the enemies that try to run through. In the next room, kill the enemies that bomb their way in and shoot the enemies way up high on the balcony. After the room is clear, arm the C4. Now shoot the pipe that turns yellow and run up the collapsed balcony. Run up the hallway and shoot the two guys that are in the doorway leading out. Don't worry too much about killing anymore enemies just keep running marker to marker. Intel - Right before going up the last staircase to get off the ship. Check the right. If you escape with 2:15 left and on Veteran difficulty you will get an achievement/trophy. After you escape, this will end the level. -------------------- III. Victor Charlie -------------------- You will start in a sinking helicopter. You check to see if the pilot is ok and he will get shot in the face. You will pick up a pistol, now take out the two guys that try to shoot in the front of the helicopter. As soon as they die, the helicopter will sink below the water. You will start opening the door, press the button it tells you two and now swim out to the marker. You will climb up on a boat and take a soldier hostage. Shoot the four guys on the other boats and now jump back in the water and make your way to Woods. Take out the eight guys that run down the path. When they all are taken out, a Follow will appear over Woods' head. Make your way down the path following Woods. You will pull out a knife down the path. Woods will start to swim underwater to a boat. Just follow his lead to the boat and you will be prompted to melee. Now swim to the huts on the right side and you will see Bowman taking out another soldier. Follow Woods into the water and place the C4 on the wall. Now follow Woods up into the hut. You will sneak down the path and enter a window. Melee the guard napping on the left. Now make your way through and melee the guard on guard duty. After you kill the guard on duty. Intel - Turn around and run back to the corner directly behind of you for this piece of intel. Now fall down the hole into the water and plant the C4 charge. Swim through the gate that you automatically open and go forward. You will see a soldier get thrown into the water. Climb up the ladder here into the next hut. Once you leave the hut, you will pull out the detonator. Blow the charges. Now you have to fight through an enemy camp. Pull out your sniper and pop the guys on the bridge here and the guys in hiding behind boxes and such. The sniper can seem to shoot through most of them and kill the enemies. You will be told to take out a spider hole by throwing a grenade in it. Intel - The hut right behind the spider hole in the corner of the hut. Make your way down a bit in the camp and then you will be attacked by a heavy machine gun. Make your way down the right path leading to the river. You will then be told to grab up a rocket launcher and take out the heavy machine gun. A helicopter will come and drop off additional troops and the enemy will attack from the huts on the left. Pull your sniper back out and pick them off and make your way into the huts where the enemies attacked from. You will see a heavy turret here. Pick the guy off of it and move up. Clear the hut through the windows right in front of you and make your way through. Clear out the enemies between the two huts on the other side and make your way down the path. You will come to a blockade of trees. Fall down the hole are start following Swift through. Reznov will drop in and you progress right. Swift will stop meaning you need to turn off your flashlight. Swift will get killed, so stab the guy that kills him. Make your way down the tunnel and when you get near the end a guy will run by spraying at you with a rifle. Shoot him down and kill the two guys waiting on the left in the room. Reznov will throw an enemy down and you will move an object out of the way. You will enter another tunnel. Follow Reznov down and he will get attacked but will kill the enemy. Now he will want to follow you. Walk down the path a bit and a guy will run out, just shoot him. Intel - Now take the left path around and you will pick up a piece of intel. After collecting the intel. When you turn the corner to the right, there will be two guys here waiting to ambush you had you went straight. Shoot them and make your way to the end. As soon as you meet back up with Reznov, another guy will run up and attack. Kill him and be ready to kill another guy that steps out to shoot at you. As soon as you get a bit past this guy and turn the corner, you will face three more guys. You will get a checkpoint and you will see a door. Kick it open to see an abandoned control room. Make your way through and kick the next door. Something will blow up behind you and now you must escape. Fall down the hole and head left. Keep going left and the tunnel keeps collapsing. When you get to the end you will be prompted to dig by pressing the melee button. Keep digging and you will come out to a cliffside. Now just wait for Woods to pick you up in a helicopter. This ends this level. ---------------- IIJ. Crash Site ---------------- You start in a military camp. Make your way to the boat but right before you get to the dock. Intel - Grab the intel on the left table before the dock. Get on the boat and start heading down river. Once you get a bit down the river, start shooting at the trucks and houses. You have a machine gun and rockets you can fire. Take out the two trucks on the left side mountain. Continue to the dead end and shoot the huts and people running up on the cliff. Now turn around and head back the the way you came. You will see a bunch of helicopters destroy a dam. Now head that way. As soon as you get past the destroyed dam, shoot a rocket at the search tower and hose down the huts with your machine gun. Take it slow if playing on veteran because it only take two sometimes one rocket to kill you. Take out the tower in the distance. You will now be prompted to kill a truck on the right. Continue on, going slow and blowing through the huts. Take out the two towers in the far back and you will be prompted to take out another truck on the right side. Make your way down a bit and start shooting the huts on the left. Quickly kill all the ground troops because a few are carrying rocket launchers. As you progress past these huts, two boats will come out in front of you plus a search tower on the right cliff. Shoot the boats with your MG turret and fire a rocket at the tower on the right side. Make your way around the left bend and take out the huts on both sides and then shoot the two towers it prompts you to destroy. When you get closer to the big open water, you will be attacked by a huge boat. Keep your MG turret on it and wait for it to get close and then eat it up with rockets. Try to stay back a bit because there are some enemies shooting rockets on the hillsides around the open water. After you take out the boss boat, you will black out and come to in front of a burning hut. Just follow the river up marker to marker until you dock. As soon as you exit the boat a few steps on the path. Intel - Intel will be on the right side of the path. Make your way up the path a bit and you will see a flare fly up in the air. You will then be attacked by three guys running at you. Take them out and take cover behind a rock looking to the right. Pick off the soldiers hiding in the trees and running out of the jungle. Once you have cleared them out, make your way up and you will be attacked by more soldiers. Bowman will yell sniper in the tree so make sure you take him out first. Now clean up the enemies that are hiding in the trees underneath the sniper you just killed. Continue following your team slowly up the river. You will see your helicopters get taken down. Take out the guys that run at you and continue down the river. Bowman will yell about another sniper in the tree on the right so take him out quick. Make your way up and you will come to what looks like a blown down fence. Stay at the top of the hill and take out all the soldiers that run out the jungle from here. Once it is clear, fall down the hill and head left. A sniper will be in the tall tree on the right. Shoot him and start take out the guys that run up and hide behind the blown down fence pieces. Once you have killed them all, your character will say thats all of them and you will continue up. Climb up the wing of the plane and fall down on the right. Intel - Look on the edge in front of you for this piece of intel Now fall down again. Go inside the plane. You will hear Woods and Bowman talk a bit about Nova 6. Pick up the Dragonuv sniper rifle and then make your way to the cockpit. Snipe the enemies on the ground until the boats come. Sniper the two people on both the boats and then Woods will say the helicopters are back. This will prompt a cutscene. Afterwards the level will end. -------------------- IIK. WMD -------------------- You will board a plane. It will take off and now you will be in control of a thermal navigation point system of your squad. They want you to direct them. First thing you will see is a truck drive point. Alert them to it's presence. Now you will have a marker on the map to the right, make them go to that point and immediately send them into the safe house. You will see an enemy squad drive by but then one decides to drive up to the house. You will now be in control of a soldier. Take out the enemy squad and you will be back in control of the ship. Move the squad out the back door of the house and target the two enemies out the back. Now move them to the road. While they are moving to the road, youu will be notified of a large enemies squad, quickly press the on screen button for your team to dig in. After the enemies pass by, move your squad to the barracks. The will stack up and you will take control of one of them again. Breach the door and take out the enemies inside. Once you enter and go down the little set of stairs. Intel - There will be a piece of intel on the table to your left. Blow the computer circuit boards with C4 and you will then be back in charge of the pilot. Move the squad north twice and this will end a piece of the level. You are now in control of a soldier in the squad. You will be laying in the snow and an enemy squad will walk by. Get up it prompts you to and move towards the house. A guard with a dog will walk out, so go prone and wait for them to run off. Now make your way to the house and sneak around it. Make your way to the railing looking over the mountain. You have to rappel here. Follow the onscreen instructions to rappel down. Don't rappel too much in one jump without braking or you will fall to your death. When you reach the bottom, get ready to rappel breach the building underneath you. You will jump through the window, take out all enemies in here. Now make your way through the back door and down the stairs. Make your way through the snow. Go slowly around the bend leading to the left because there are two guys patrolling here. Wait for your squad to move up and take one out. Your squad will take the other out. Now move up. You team will say there is a large squad of enemies up ahead. Move up slowly. Take out the guy in front of the garage with the cross bow once the guys in the garage start working on the bulldozer. After you have killed the guy walking, shoot one of the guys in the garage and your team mate will take out the other. Move up and look to the right. You will see two guys working on a truck. Pick one and take him out so your team mate will take out the other. Move up to the two guys shoveling snow. Pick one and take him out and your team mate will take out the other. Move around the mountain and shoot the guy standing on top of the base. Now a guy will walk around the bulldozer, wait for him to get closer to you and take him out. Now zoom in and take out the guy straightening up guns in the base. Move up past the base and right at the catwalk. A guy will walk around, shoot him and you'll get an achievement/trophy for getting in undetected. Make your way down the cat walk and shoot the hinges off the door. Enter and your squad mate will kill an enemy with a knife. Continue to the next door and kick it open. Don't worry about killing the guys in front of the window, your team will jump through the window and do that. Just concentrate on the guys on the first floor. Take them out and three guys will run through the door on the other side of the room. Intel - Run in that room and pick the intel up off the left. Now kill the new enemies that spawn on the lower level. After you take a few out, guys will run out the top floor where you came in at. After taking them out, your squad will say clear and you will now have to destroy the satellite controls. Go to the control box and you will destroy them. Now follow your team out on the catwalk. You will get hit with a rocket launcher destroying the catwalk and you lose a team mate. Run and jump across and follow your team through the avalanche. Jump when you get to the end and hold forward while you fall down. Activate your parachute when it prompts you to. You will hit the ground and now you have to take care of the guys in front of you. Just pick a target and shoot and they will attack. Take them out, once a few are taken out and you move up you will be attacked by a MG turret. Run in the building on the right side and kill the enemies in this first room. Move into the slightly burning room and kill the three guys on the right. Make your way down the right and out the door on the left. Go across the open spot and into the next building. Intel - Grab it off the table in the middle of the room. Right side table. Before going into the projection room. Go into the projection room and You will watch some story information and then you must escape in three minutes. A bunch of enemies will run in, make your way out the left door and hide behind the barrels and slowly take out the enemies. The enemies will start retreating after you kill a few and your team will run up. Run up to the big doors and kill the rest of the enemies that ran outside. After they are dead, run up to the back of the truck that the marker is on. You will board the turret and you must keep the enemies back will they hotwire the truck. Shoot the trucks so they blow up and watch for a guy on the left with a rocket launcher. After you have killed a few, the truck will drive off and this ends the level. --------------- IIL. Payback --------------- You will start out playing Russian Roulette. You will grab the gun up and kill the guy making you play and then grab his pistol. Shoot the two guys in front of you. You will now have an AK-47 rifle. Make your way to the door following Woods. Kill the enemies on the upper right side and go that way. If you go to the left, there are just a few enemies and you don't get support from Woods. Once you have cleared out the right and made your way around, you can go back down the left side from the back way and there are some little rooms with weapons in them. Continue down the path. Shoot the two guys on the upper part of the path and go up it. You will be in front of a large room with many enemies in it. After you kill a few, Woods will move up but the room is far from clear. The enemies will stop spawning after you kill a bunch of them. Once the bullets have stopped coming down the path, make your way into the room and kill the guys on the left side. Intel - There is a piece on the shelves on the right side. Follow Woods down the left path. You will see the russian that was in charge of torturing you. Shoot him and then boost Woods up to the ledge and he will pull you up. Go outside and you will see a helcopter that you must take. Start shooting the enemies. Once they are all taken out, run up to the landing spot. Intel - There is a piece of intel on a table to the right of the helicopter, so grab that before boarding. Board the chopper and you will be told to head down river. Start making your way down the river. Shoot the boat that is coming your way. You will now come to a bridge, hit it with you rockets and continue down the river. Shoot the next boat you see around the bend. You will then come to a village. Shoot the tanks shooting at you and destroy everything that moves. Sink all the ships and then fly past. Destroy the boat here and keep going. You will get to another town and a helicopter will fly and you and attack. Just mow it down constantly with your machine gun. Now attack the village and shoot the trucks and houses. Destroy the boats because some will attack you. Once you are done destroying everything, head right. Go down the river and you will get radar locked and you will start getting large missiles fired at you. Sway side to side to avoid them and get close enough to fire some rockets and the missile nest. Continue down the river and take out the bridge and the pipeline. You will come to a big village with four targets to take out. Take out the targets right to left, I found easiest. The first target is a radar tower. Shoot it down with your rockets and make sure you kill the little towers set up all through out the village so they won't fire rockets at you. Now take out the next target which is a MG nest. Take out the one on the right side of the bridge and then the left side. Now blow up the pipeline and follow it back down the river shooting it. You will run into a MG nest on the cliffside while shooting the pipeline. Take it out and finish destroying the pipeline. Now make your way back down the river bank. As soon as you come around the corner of the mountain. You will be attacked by two helicopters. Shoot them as much as possible with the machine gun and try to keep a little distance so they can't hit you with their machine gun. Bring them down and then go to the marker to land the helicopter. There are some guns here, pick up what you want and continue to follow Woods into the jungle. Right time you catch up to where Woods is waiting, he will shoot two soldiers standing in the jungle. Run up a bit and two more will spawn on the path. Move up a bit and see three at a truck already attacking you. Take cover and take them out. One is firing a rocket launcher so be weary of him. Once you have taken them out a bunch of soldiers will attack from the cave on the left of the truck. Pick them off as you can and Woods will move up. Once it is pretty clear and you can move up, a guy with a flamethrower will come and try to burn you. Shoot him down and pick up his flamethrower. You can get an achievement/trophy here by killing ten soldiers. Run up and free the prisoners and now go follow Reznov through the door that opens. Move down the hall and when you turn right, there will be a room full of soldiers attacking you and your team. Take cover and slowly take them out. As you clear them out, your team will move up. Slowly move up with them and take out the enemies that run up in the back. Once it is pretty clear. Intel - Pick up the intel in the left corner of the room right before the dead end hall in the left corner. When you move up to the mini stairs up at the marker, be weary for a sneaky enemy sitting in the upper left corner on a high up piece of floor. Run up to the floor and breach the door. You will watch a cutscene and this will end the level. ------------- IIM. Rebirth ------------- You will start out in a cargo crate. You will be prompted to open the door. When you do, sneak up behind the guy cutting up stuff on the table and melee him. You will take his hatchet and stick it in his throat and then drag him into the shadows. Intel - Left of the guy that you just killed, in the corner. Now run and stay right on Reznov's tail. Follow him under the boards on the left. Now wait for the helicopter to pass over. Now follow Reznov to the end of the crate that just got placed. Wait for the three guys to walk by and now follow Reznov to the house but don't hide, run up to the guy standing between the two houses and melee him. You will pick up his gun, now follow Reznov around the houses and into cover. As soon as it passes over, follow him up the stairwell. Climb the ladder and you will be promtped to melee. Do so and finish climbing the ladder. You will be on a higher balcony, now climb the next ladder. When you reach the roof, you'll see an explosion and the base is now on full alert. Go right and fall down onto the lower roof and make your way across. Jump on the pipe and climb on the next roof. Enter the doorway and fall down onto the catwalk. Now jump and climb down the pipe that Reznov climbs down. You will pick up the roof door to the elevator. Shoot the two soldiers talking to scientists and fall in. You will be attacked by some guards in the hallway right outside the elevator. Run out and take cover behind a wall. Take out the enemies in this hallway and make your way down. A guy will try and sneak through the room on the left once you pass. Turn around and wait for him. Now take your time and kill the enemies in each part of the labs. Don't forget to kill seven monkeys in ten seconds for the achievement/trophy. Once all the labs are clear. Pick up one of the AK7u's with the grenade launcher attached. It will be useful for the next room. Enter the big command center and fire grenades at the guys on the second floor. Now clear the room. Intel - After clearing the big control room, it will be in the middle on top of some monkey cages inside the missile looking pod. Now go through the back door into the hallway with Reznov. Go to the door at the end of the hallway and push it open. You will watch a cutscene with Dr. Steiner and then it will black out to you in the interrogation room. You now take control of Hudson and you are in a tank 20 minutes earlier to the cutscene you just watched with Steiner. You will make your way down the road. There will be soldiers evacuating the station. Shoot the two guys on the roof with rocket launchers so they don't blow you up. Then shoot rockets and the two cars with soldiers hiding behind them. You will then move up and turn left. Fire rockets and the blockade of soldiers at the end of the road. You are gonna turn right here. Be ready to fire two rocket in the left and right corners. Then fire two at the trucks driving by right in front of you. Now fire more rockets and the back in the middle where the helicopter drops some more soldiers at. As soon as you pass the building on the right, look right really fast and start bombing the hell out of the enemies dug in here. This part is very frustrating on Veteran difficulty. As soon as you take out the guys on the right, you will turn left, quick aim a rocket at the stairwell on the upper left for the two guys that spawn up there. Now shoot rockets and the car on the left and right and then at the jeep and pulls up on the left. Now just bomb down the land right in front of the fences because this is where the enemies spawn from and start running at you. You will cross the bridge and a helicopter will come and bomb your tank. They will also cover the area in poison gas. So now you are armed with a rifle with a thermal scope. Make your way through the gas picking off enemies as you see them. Your squad will move up as you clear them out so you will know when the coast is clear. Go through the house. Kill the enemies you can see through the windows and move up. You will get close to the second marker and the building in front of you will blow up. Intel - After that house blows up, enter the house on your right and it is sitting on some shelves. Go through the house that just blew up and go upstairs. Kill the enemies waiting for you in the backyard and the guy sitting in the window on the left of the house. Once they are taken out, enter the next building and head downstairs. You will now have to take out two helicopters. Pick up the Stella homing launcher and shoot the helicopters. Once they have been taken care of, head towards the alley. Keep going straight and the gas will clear. Pick up one of the AK7u with the grenade launcher and fall down the little cliff. If you didn't die by having your suit cracked, you will get an achievement/trophy when you fall down the little cliff. Make your way down the hill. Pick off the soldiers on the roof of the building that is shooting the rocket launcher. Make your way near the buildings and some enemies will run out at you. Take them out and move up. I think they enemies ifinitely respawn here if you don't move up so clear out the way a bit and sneak up. I found it easiest to sneak up the left side. Make sure you take out the guy in the left buildings window. Once you get close to the building on the left, you will get a checkpoint. Now move up a bit and two guys will spawn on the roof and a guy will spawn in the main buildings window. Take them out and clear the enemies spawning out the main building a bit and go up to the windows of the main building. Kill the guys running down the stairs and the ones shooting from the back office. Now enter the building. Go to the hallway on the left. Take out the enemies here and move up to the stairwell. Kill the enemies that run up to attack you. When you get to the bottom of the stairwell, keep going office to lab to office. There will an enemy here and there that you must kill but just make your way to the room where Mason and Steiner were. Once you get there, you will watch a cutscene and then you will make your way out and end the level. ---------------- IIN. Revelations ---------------- You get up from your chair and make your way out the door. Head left and go down the hall. You will see cutscenes here and there. Push the double doors open. Intel - Right after pushing the double doors open, go down the left hall. It will be on a filing cabinet on your right. Continue down the hall and you will trigger a cutscene when you get to the marker. Walk through the autopsy room. Intel - As soon as you leave the autopsy room, go right and it is in a trash can on the left side of the hall. Continue down the hall and enter the room with the projection screen. You will see cutscenes all over the walls. Now go out the door on the left. Go through the little medal room and into the next hallway. You will see another cutscene and then you'll be teleported to the end of the hall. Continue left into the room full of desks. Intel - As soon as you enter the room full of desks, check the paper sorter on the desk on your left. Walk through this room and into the hall. This will trigger the final cutscene and then the level ends. ---------------- IIO. Redemption ---------------- You start in a helicopter assaulting a ship. You will have a machine gun and rockets. As soon as you gain control, sway back and forth and shoot the targets. Make your way down the ship shooting all target markers. One of your squad helicopter will drop a sqaud down on the ship. Protect them by mowing down the targets that try to attack your squad. Take out all the enemies leading down the ship. Once you get to the other end, you will be attacked by an enemy helicopter. Fire rockets and keep your machine gun on it and it will fall after a few hits. Now make your way to the end of the ship and jump out the helicopter. Make your way down the right side of the ship. You will be attacked by a few enemies, shoot them and keep going. You will be attacked by two helicopters. Intel - It will be to the left a little before the rocket launcher near the big crate that you can walk through. Pick up the Valkerie rocket and shoot them. If you hit them both with one rocket, you will get an achievement/trophy here. Once they are taken out, pick off the enemies up ahead and move up. Another group will run out the door up ahead. Kill them and the guy up on the upper left catwalk. Now make your way in the building on the left. Go down the mini hall and go left down the two cases of stairs. Kill the guys in the swim suit room. Go down the next two cases of stairs and clear out the mini control room. Intel - Right when you enter the mini control room, it is under the middle table. Go through here into the giant pump room. Kill the guys around the room. Make your way around the room once its clear. On Veteran difficulty, I found it easiest to go up around the left upper side of this room. Make your way around picking off enemies until it says objective complete. This will trigger some talking and you will then submerge down to the broadcast station under the boat. Swim up inside the ship. You will be attacked when you come up, shoot the soldiers and move up to the next piece of the room. The missile looking thing will fall down and a guy will attack from the catwalk up above. Take him out and move up. Three guys will run out the door in the back left. Take them out and go through the door. When you come through the door, on the stairwell on the left a guy will come walking down. Shoot him and go up the staircase. Two guys will be guarding the door at the top of the stairs. Go through the door at the top of the stairs and immediately on the left there will be two guys hiding behind some crates. Kill them and go down the hallway and you will see guys through the door on the right. Wait outside the room on the left of the door and the two guys will run out. Take them out and enter the room. An explosion will knock you back and now the place will be flooded. Swim to the marker and climb up on the catwalk. Follow Hudson to the next room. Kill the two guys that run at you shooting dual wield pistols. Continue down the hall and when you turn left. You will run into two enemies hiding in the room up ahead. Take them out. A well timed grenade will clear the room. Make your way to the room and climb up the ladder. You will come up into a room full of weapons. Pick your poison and then make your way down the hall. Two guys will walk around the corner on the right. Take them out and continue down the right hall. Stay to the left side so when the guys in the next room spawn, they can't shoot you. Kill the guys in the flooded control center and make your way in. Make your way around the left side of the computers and two guys will run in. Kill them and then head upstairs. Kill the guy ducking behind the desk and throw a flashbang to the opposite wall. Now crouch walk to the end and kill the two guys that you just flashbanged. Intel - Pick up the intel from under the desk in this little room. A guy will probably run through the door where you just killed the two guys. Take him out and finish picking off the enemies on this top floor. Now make you way to the terminal and activate it. This will cause an explosion and you will grab an enemy and pull him down with you. Press the on screen instructions to choke him out. Now make your way off the ship. You will then flash to swimming in the ocean. Just follow Hudson and this will end the level. III. Intel ------------- Operation 40 - You will come to a garage with a bunch of weapons in it. It is located behind the rocket launcher. - When you come to the second story house that is on fire. You will see Bowman throw a guy over the railing. Go in the room that Bowman just came out of and grab the intel off the dressor in the room to the left. - Before going out the airplane hanger to fight your way across the air field. Climb up the little ladder on the left to find this intel. Vorkuta - When you are told to go to the roof while Sergie tries to break the armory door. Go up the first set up stairs and it is laying on some computer terminals. - When you dive under the door that Sergie is holding up. Run into the dark room in the corner of the room on your right. The intel is in there on your immediate left. - When you get to the hangar with the motorcycles. Don't get on yet. Grab the intel in the corner behind Reznov. Executive Order - When you are fighting to the roof of the tower. It is on a terminal right before climbing the ladder to go to the roof. - The room you blow open with C4. It is in the corner of the room. - Near the end of the level. You will be fighting in some hallways. This is located in a little control room on the right side of the last hallway before clearing the left hallway that it attaches to. The room has a viewing gallery in it. You can miss it if you are looking for it. S.O.G. - After detonating the two detonators, when you get to the top of the hill. You will see a long tent full of cargo. It is on some crates right in front near the middle of the tent. - On the hill that you must kick the barrels down, there is a bunker in the middle of the hill with the intel in it on a window looking out. - In the burning bunker. It is in the room right before the only room that isn't on fire with the American flag in it. The Defector - After leaving the room where Reznov joins you, it is in a small room on the right. - While you are following the tank in the streets. It is in the house when you make the first right turn down the road. After the long road. - In the area where you have to hold off while waiting for extraction. After you blow the anti air craft gun out of the building with C4, when you go through that house, the house on the right has this intel. Numbers - Go to the back area right as you start the level before climbing the ladder. - When you slide down the roof in slow mode where the guys run out below you. Once you kill the guys, check on the ground in the fenced in area. - After Clark gets killed. Jump down a level and then one more level. Turn around and it is on the metal roof. Project Nova - The first building that you have to clear out the two floors in. It is on the second floor in the end room on the right as soon as you enter the room. It is the building right before you get the mortar strikes. - Once you clear out the MG turret and the enemies in front of the hangar behind it. It is in that hangar on the far back right wall. The hangar with the missile in it. - While running out of the ship with the countdown. The intel is on the right before to the front of the ship. Victor Charlie - After killing the guard that is sitting up napping with your knife. Turn around and directly in front of you in a corner is the intel. - In the hut right behind the spider hole in the village. - While in the second tunnel while Reznov is following you. Right after you kill the guy that jumps out at you, take the left path around. Crash Site - On a table on your left right before getting to the dock to board the boat at the beginning. - As soon as you first exit the boat, a few steps on the path after exiting. It is on the ground on the path. - Once you climb up the burning plane. Fall down on the right once and look down in front of you on the ground. WMD - When you breach the barracks, as soon as you enter and walk down the little set of stairs, it will be on the table to your left. - In the room that you enter where your team attacks the enemies at the windows, in the room on the other side through the door some enemies run out of. - In the building before going into the room where you here the plans of the enemy, go check middle table on the right with the bomb on it. Payback - When you come to the big room with the waterfall. After you clear it out, on some shelves to the left when you first entered. - To the right of the helicopter that you capture after escaping the prison. - In the room right after releasing the POWs. In the back left corner of the room right of the dead end hallway. Rebirth - Left of the guy that you stab with the hatchet in the throat. - After clearing out the big command center after the labs. It will be on some monkey cages inside an empty missile pod chamber. - It is sitting in a house while you are navigating the poison gas. When you get close to the house that explodes, the house on your immediate right has it. Revelations - Right after pushing the double doors open, go down the left hall. It will be on a filing cabinet on your right. - As soon as you make it through the autopsy room. Turn right and you'll see a trash can on your left with this one in it. - After being teleported down the hall where you see the missile silo in the distance, you will enter a room full of desks. As soon as you enter, its on the desk on the left. Redemption - On the left from the Valkerie near the large crate that you walk through. - Once you enter the inside of the ship. You will clear out a room full of lockers with swim suits in it. Go down to the next room that looks like a mini control room. It is underneath a table in the middle of the room. - It is located in the upper floor of the flooded control center. In a small office that you will go through after climbing the staircase to go upstairs. It is located under a desk in that room. IV. Zombies ------------- I will just give the basic layout and information on the zombie maps. Surviving is up to you. Power-Ups --------- Insta Kill - Makes every zombie/dog/crawler a one shot/knife kill. Carpenter - Rebuilds all barriers and awards the players 200 points each. Nuke - Kills All zombies, and awards all players with 400 points. 2x - Doubles all points you receive. Sale Tag - Makes Things cheaper. Buying a random weapon, will with the sale tag upgrade, is only 10 points instead of 950. Pack a punch, is 1000 points instead of the 5000. Death Machine - Gives you a Handheld minigun for a short period of time. Random Perk Bottle - This drop gives you a random perk when picked up. This is only available in DLC maps. Perk-a-Colas ------------ Juggernog - doubles the player's health - Cost 2500 Speed Cola - cuts time spent reloading weapons by half - Cost 3000 Quick Revive(Solo) - The player temporarily receives the Pack-a-Punched M1911 (Mustang & Sally) while the player is downed before being automatically revived by the perk Cost 500 (Perk available from start without power) Quick Revive(Co-op) - revive other players about 4x faster - Cost 1500 Double Tap Root Beer - reduces the pause time between bullets fired Cost 2000 Stamin-Up - combines Lightweight with Marathon - Cost 2000 (DLC Only) PhD Flopper - absorbs any explosive and fall damage done to the player and creates a small shock-wave that damages zombies when the player dives-to-prone - Cost 2000 (DLC Only) Deadshot Daiquiri - This perk changes auto-aim so that it locks onto an enemies head rather than the body, makes the reticle smaller similar to Steady Aim and removes the idle sway from sniper rifles. - Cost 1500 PC Cost - 1000 (DLC Only) IVA. Kino Der Toten ------------------- This zombie map is unlocked from the start of the game. You play as the four guys from Call of Duty World At War in what looks to be an abandoned movie theatre. First thing you will notice is that you need to get the power back on. The power switch is in the movie projector room. You will have to make your way around the level to get to the projector room. Once the power is on, it will open the door from the lobby straight to the projector room. This makes getting the teleporter on really a short sprint. They have brought back all the perk colas and the Bowie Knife as well. There are traps that can be activated including automatic turrets. To get to the pack a punch machine you must link the teleporters and this is the room you will be automatically teleported to. You might want to hold on to the starting handgun because upgraded it becomes dual wield and has exploding rounds. Mostly everything else you get just really makes it automatic if it was a burst or bolt action. IVB. "Five" ----------- *SPOILER* This is a really interesting map. You will unlock this after completing the single player campaign. You will see a cutscene of JFK talking to Castro and you will be attacked by zombies. You are in the Pentagon for this map which makes it really interesting. This map has quite a few places you can go. You will start in a main room with some desks. Zombies will come through the doors with the glass on the top half of them. It is also random but zombies will sometimes come through two walls near the Quick Revive machine. Once you have enough points you can make it through the first door and go to the elevator. The elevator will take you down to a big computer room. You can go down the flight of stairs and into another elevator that will lead you to some labs. Look for the big room with the number 3 on it, it will be on your left when you first get down to the labs. The room with the three on it will have the power switch in it. This will activate teleporters and you can now access the perk machines along with the three defcon switches in the main computer room. Activating the three defcon switches will call out the Pentagon thief. Killing him will get you and achievement/trophy. He will steal your weapon and run through the teleporter. Chase him down shooting him. If he gets away, he will appear again in a few rounds. After you kill him, you will get a Sale Tag drop which makes all weapons on the wall go down to 10 points a purchase and the pack a punch machine will be only 1000. To access the Pack a Punch machine, you must get the Defcon to level 5. The pack a punch machine is located in the room next to the Juggernog machine. The door will say you need 115 clearance. IVC. Dead Ops Arcade --------------------- Remember Super Smash TV, well welcome back. This is a zombified version of the classic game. You unlock this when on the main menu. Get up out of the chair by pressing Right Trigger and Left Trigger or R2 and L2 back and forth. When you are up from you chair, you can walk around a bit and if you want to return to your chair, press A on Xbox360 and X on PS3. There is a terminal you can access behind your chair and if you enter DOA. You play the game by shooting by holding the direction of the right control stick where you want to shoot. You can press Right Trigger/R2 and this will cause you to have a boost. You can boost through zombies if you find yourself stuck. Left Trigger/L2 will cause a nuke that will wipe out all enemies near you. You start with two of each of these weapons but can pick up more as you progress. YOu get special weapons as well. You can pick up a Ray Gun that give you ricochet bullets. A shotgun that sprays. A Flamethrower that sprays a mist of flame. You can also get a little companion turret that will follow you around shooting the zombies that you shoot at. IVD. Ascension DLC Map ---------------------- This is the zombie map that you get with the First Strike DLC available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC via Steam. This zombie map takes place on a launch base that is futuristic with levitating pads called lunar landers. You get two new weapons on this map from the random weapon box. One is the Gersh Device which fires a black hole onto the ground and sucks enemies into it. The second is the Matryoshka Doll which replaces your special grenade that causes a cluster bomb attack. Pretty handy. You still get the same power up drops as the other maps, nukes, hammer,etc. Two new perks are added into this zombie map. The first is Stamin-Up which gives the same effect as Lightweight and Marathon combined. It is not Marathon Pro though so you can't spring forever, just a long time. The second perk is PhD Flopper which absorbs explosive damage and casues mini nuke effects when you dive to prone killing zombies around you for the earlier waves. To unlock the Pack a Punch machine in this map, you must first launch the shuttle into space. The way to do this is to activate and ride all three of the lunar landers scattered around the level. After you do this, a launch button will become active in the power room. Launch the shuttle and after it flies away, the shuttle room doors will open and inside is the pack a punch machine. Also the Hell Hounds and Pentagon Theif are not in this map. They have been replaced with Space Monkeys that will destroy the perk machines. It tells you which machine they are trying to destroy so all you have to do is run to it and kill the monkeys. IVE. Call Of The Dead DLC Map ----------------------------- Call of the Dead is a new type of zombie map added with the Escalation map pack. This one gives you a new cast of characters to play as but adds an Easter Egg where you can save the original four characters you usually play as. You get an intro trailer for this map as well as a outro trailer when you lose. When you start you will see a lightning bolt flash in the water and see a giant Zombified George Romero come out of the water with a stage light in hand. He will attack you if he gets close to you but he moves really slow unless provoked by you shooting or knifing him. When he becomes enraged, you can cool him off again by leading him back into the water. It takes quite a bit of shots to kill him. Best way is to upgrade a weapon and then lead him into water and then unload on him. He will respawn after a few rounds though so you can't kill him for good. Killing him gives you a Death Machine unless you have completed the Easter Egg then he will drop an upgraded Wonder Waffle. He also will drop random perk bottles. There are no Hell Hounds or Space Monkeys in this map. There is a new perk called the Deadshot Daiquiri which is located at the top of the lighthouse. It has the same effect as Steady Aim plus it takes out the sway when aiming with a sniper rifle as well and quick aim locking onto zombie heads instead of bodies. The new weapon introduced in this map is the V-R11. This will change a zombie into a human and send him fleeing while the other zombies chase him. It does not work on George Romero. It will only calm him down if he is enraged. If you pack a punch the V-R11, you can actually cause George Romero to vanish for a few rounds but he will return. The power is turned on at the top of the boat near the start of the the level. You must run up to the top level to turn on the power. The Pack a punch machine is located by the lighthouse. Every so often, the light house will spin like crazy and then shine in the water to the pack a punch machine. IVF. Shangri-La DLC Map ----------------------- Shangri-La is the third zombie map to come out for Black Ops. Unlike the last two, this one takes place during the day and in a jungle. You play as the original characters again in this one as well. There are no Hell Hounds in this one but monkeys have made a return. If you leave a power up sitting on the ground for a bit, a monkey will run up and steal it. You will then have to catch and kill the monkey to get the power up back. There are two new zombies introduced in this map. The first is the shrieker zombie which will run up and yell in your face, blining you similar to a flash grenade. The second is the Napalm Zombie which can take a lot of damage before going down. If you get close to this zombie your screen will start flaming up around the edges. The new weapon introduced in this map is the 31-79 JGb215 which is a shrink ray gun. This will turn zombies small and allow you to kick them. The electricity has two switches in this level, both are in the underground area. This level has random traps included in it. There are two pathes with spears that come out of the ground. There is a Mud Maze that can slow you down. The level also has a Water Slide and a Mine Cart you can use to escape the zombies. This map also includes a huge Easter Egg that requires four players to unlock it. The pack a punch machine on this level is a bit harder to get to. Once you turn the power on, four statues will start to spin around the level. There are four pressure pads each located in front of these statues and each player must stand on these pads at the same time. If there are three players, one pad will already be pushed down, and so on and so on. If there is one player, you just have to find the one pad that is not pushed down. Once you stand on the pad, a stairway will open up in front of the Quick Revive machine and lead you down to the pack a punch machine but it is only opened temporarily. V. Achievements/Trophies -------------------------- Death to Dictators - Take down Castro with a headshot. Sacrifice - Ensure your squad escapes safely from Cuba. Vehicular Slaughter - Destroy all enemies on vehicles during the prison break. Slingshot Kid - Destroy all slingshot targets in 3 attempts. Give me liberty - Escape Vorkuta. VIP - Receive orders from Lancer. A safer place - Sabotage the Soviet space program. Tough Economy - Use no more than 6 TOW guided missiles to destroy the tanks in the defense of Khe Sanh. Looks don't count - Break the siege in the battle of Khe Sanh. Raining Pain - Rack up a body count of 20 NVA using air support in Hue City. The Dragon Within - Kill 10 NVA with Dragon's Breath rounds. SOG Rules - Retrieve the dossier and the defector from Hue City. Heavy Hand - Use the Grim Reaper to destroy the MG emplacement. Up close and personal - Silently take out 3 VC. Double Trouble - Use only dual wield weapons to escape Kowloon. Broken English - Escape Kowloon. Lord Nelson - Destroy all targets and structures while making your way up the river. Never get off the boat - Find the Soviet connection in Laos. Pathfinder - Guide the squad through the Soviet outpost without them getting killed. Mr. Black OP - Enter the Soviet relay station undetected. With extreme prejudice - Get to the POW compound in the Hind using only rockets. Russian bar-b-q - Incinerate 10 enemies with the flamethrower attachment in the POW compound. Light Foot - Escape the ship with 2:15 left on the timer in Veteran. Some wounds never heal - Escape the Past. I hate monkeys - Kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds in the Rebirth labs. No Leaks - Make it through the NOVA 6 gas without dying on Rebirth Island. Clarity - Crack the code. Double Whammy - Destroy both helicopters with one Valkyrie rocket from the deck of the ship. Stand Down - Complete the campaign on any difficulty. BLACK OP MASTER - Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. Frag Master - Kill 5 enemies with a single frag grenade in the campaign. Sally Likes Blood - Demonstrate killer economic sensibilities by taking down 3 enemies with a single bullet. I am unbiased when it comes to this because I don't consider my self a "console" fanboy. The Xbox 360 and the PS3 versions look almost identical to me except the X360 is a bit darker than the PS3 version. Now if you are looking for the best online experience. Go with the Xbox 360 version. Yes you do have to pay Microsoft's Xbox Live fee but I've found it is the least laggy. It also loads faster because of the fact you can install the game to your hard drive. The PS3 really boys down to who has the best connection. It lags and stutters like crazy while playing. It is free but you get what you pay for in that department. The PS3 also does not support Party chat for you and your friends. With the Wii version, it is about the same except no High Definition. The online is laggy as well. The PC version is pretty much the same as the Xbox 360 version except there are more players on the Xbox than compared to the PC. You have a hard time finding wager matches on the PC version of the game. The DS version is a completely different game in itself. Q. Where is the DLC on the Wii? A.
