Sony Releases PS4 Teaser; Reminds You It’s Still Coming

I think if we are all honest with ourselves, people as a whole are letting the new Xbox reveal happening tomorrow get to us.  We had a month to stew it over and laugh it off, but if hop you over and check your Twitter feed, I would be willing to guess you have a large contingent of people talking about it in some form or another.

Sony, for their part, does not want you to forget that they have their own console dropping this year, so today they released a teaser trailer focused on the design of the hardware itself.  Honestly, you will not get a lot from the video–there are episodes from season two of Lost that reveal things more clearly than the above teaser does.  In the end, the number of gamers out there still concerned with exactly how the consoles will look in their entertainment center has dwindled, despite the number of attempts online for people to Photoshop their own concept photos together.  What is important is that Sony has announced another preview of their new console for June 6th, at 6:00 PM Pacific time (note: the week before E3).  Whether this will be anything more than showing off a plastic box has yet to be seen, but you can be sure we will keep our eyes open to find out.
