QNicks Guide to Defeating the Bosses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game: Spiderman 2 Console: PS2 Version: First Type: FAQ Date Edited: 11/22/2007 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rhino Defeat him by blocking. DONT LET HIM GET YOU!! Hell take away a lot of life when he spins around with a battery. Press (O) to dodge. Rhino will get dizzy and stop for a minute. Theres your chance put on spider reflexes (L1) and show him whos Boss! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mysterio (youll meet up with him four times throughout the game) 1st Time: There are six people in a burning building you need to save. You have 50 seconds to save two of them located on the decks. There are four additional people to save on the stage where Mysterio is at. After all of the people are saved, kill the bad guys and youre done. 2nd Time: At the Statue of Liberty (in the financial district) you will find UFOs floating over the water. Swing your way to Liberty Island using the UFOs. When you get there, the UFOs will surround the statue. There are 8 orbs surrounding the very top of the statue. These orbs must be destroyed. To do this, swing on a UFO. While you are hanging from the UFO, it will rise up giving you access to the orbs. Punch each orb one time to destroy it. There is no time limit to destroy them. This section can be hard so dont be surprised if you drop into the water a few times. Once all 8 orbs are gone, head to the top of the statue. There you will find a brain that is weak on power (it cant hurt you). Punch it several times to kill it. 3rd Time: In Mysterios apartment, you will find a secret passage through a bookcase. This brings you to Mysterios Fun House of Doom. Inside are 4 evil clowns that must be killed. To do this, punch them, but be careful! They attack you with axes you have to dodge. There are mirrors around the room that let in evil Spiderman clones. Break each mirror to stop the evil Spideys. Once you defeat the evil Spideys, go through the green mirror and youll see a hologram of Mysterio. Just ignore it and go through the exit door. 4th Time: At the Speedy gas station, someone will alert Spiderman that the gas station is being robbed by Martians! When you investigate, you find Mysterio standing there. Punch him once, his head falls off and hes down! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shocker (you meet up with him twice during the game) 1st Time: When Black Cat comes to cheer up a depressed Spiderman, you have to follow her to a building where you both find Shocker and his minions. Black Cat takes care of the minions, so all you need to do is keep punching Shocker to take him out. 2nd Time: You and Black Cat find Shocker again in a building. Defeating him is harder this time, but if you keep punching and dodging (O) him, you can get him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Doc Ock (you meet him 3 times in the game) 1st Time: You find him in a bank with his henchmen. Punch his henchmen to kill them, then turn on Doc Ock. Keep punching and dodging him until he dies. 2nd Time: Doc Ocks on a train. Again, just keep punching him. It is harder this time around so hang in there! 3rd Time: Doc is in a building and is very hard to kill. You need to keep moving, punching and dodging. His tentacles will strike out at you and cause you to lose life and sometimes fall into the water below. When his tentacles turn yellow, they are vulnerable. Press the triangle button to make them briefly stick to the ground. Nows your chance to punch him and cause damage. Expect to die frequently until you get the hang of it (no pun intended)! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congrats you killed all of the bosses!
