Hints
Get To The Ruins The Lazy - Easy Way
First go beat the Mines and you will will be at the door going to the Ruins go to the far left and face your BACK TOWARDS THE DOOR. Do a quick combonation with no weapons equiped. You will be stuck in the door. You should be able to go to the ruins. Make sure that you have a high percent on dark weapon so you could beat the last boss!!!
Save Screenshots
Place a completely empty VMU in slot 2 of a controller that is plugged into port D. A screenshot requires 195 blocks of space. Start an online or offline game. Hold A + X then press Start on controller D to save the current screen. If done correctly, a black screen with a countdown will appear. The game will resume after the countdown, and the screenshot will be on the previously empty VMU.
Unlock Ruins
In order to do this you must defeat all the bosses exept Dark Falz (boss of ruins or the "final boss") and talk to the princeipal then activate the 3 pillers (stone cylinders) which is located in forest2, cave2, and mine2 (1 in each level). Then beat the boss the mines then go to the door with 3 symbols and you unloced it.
Free Antidote
When in the caves, you'll run into poisonous plants. If you stand on the remands of a slain enemy, their poison is harmless.
Control Loading Screen
At the loading screen that features streaks of light coming towards you, press the Analog-stick to move a small twinkling star around.
Extra Difficulty Settings
Successfully complete the off-line version of the game to unlock the hard difficulty setting. Successfully complete the off-line version of the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock the very hard difficulty setting. You get more experience and better items under these new difficulty settings.
Hidden Artwork
Place the game disc in a PC compatible CD-ROM drive to find images from the game in the "Extra" folder.

Start a new game and select a character.
