Back in Grand Theft Auto IV, you needed to visit an Internet Cafe if you wanted to “online” inside the game. But with the release of Grand Theft Auto V, you can now simply open your character’s smart phone to access a large number of in-game websites, where you can purchase services and items. You can shop for new vehicles online, do some banking, add to your military arsenal, or even check out profiles on some dating sites.
Some of the websites will actually affect the gameplay inside GTA 5, while others appear just to be there for information, laughs, or simply to amuse the developers. Some of the websites are interactive, meaning they’ll let you search, or do things like purchase vehicles or property. Some of the websites are non-interactive, meaning they’re just there for you to look at and gather info.
So to help you navigate the virtual web inside Grand Theft Auto’s virtual environment, CheatCodes.com has put together a complete list of all the websites available in GTA 5, and organized them by category. We’ll also indicate whether the sites are interactive sites that let you do stuff, or non-interactive sites that don’t.And just so you don’t think we’re playing any favorites, we’ll list the websites in each category in alphabetical order.
It’s worth taking the time to type these sites into your character’s mobile phone. You may even be surprised to learn that some of them also work outside of the game and on the “real” web, and other just link to Rockstar’s main website.
How to Access the Websites in the Game
To access any of these websites inside the game, when your character has his mobile phone out, just press “up” on the phone’s D-pad and select Internet. An address bar will appear where you can type in the address of the website you’d like to see.
Be sure to let us know your favorites in the comments (or tell us if you found some we missed)!
