Cars Go In Garages
You keep your purchased (boo!) and stolen (yay!) cars in your garages. The car won’t be saved in a garage unless it’s parked there. You can’t share cars between players — each player gets his own car collection, which is stored in their respective garages. Every GTA 5 safehouse has a garage, so because Michael’s the unlucky one because he only has one safehouse, and therefore only gets one garage. Franklin and Trevor both have two safehouses, so they both have two garages. Each player also gets a garage that’s separate from their safehouse, which can hold up to four cars.
If you steal or purchase a car in Grand Theft Auto V, you’ll need to park it in a garage at your safehouse, or some other purchased garage.
