E3 2014 Wrapup

E3 2014 has finally come to an end and we can tell you that it was one hell of a ride. We had the pleasure to find out about numerous new game releases, while also checking out new trailers and receiving information about the games that are supposed to launch in the near future.

Fans of the Alien series will be delighted to know that the Alien: Isolation title will bring them a lot of fun and scare at the same time, as the images and other info presented at E3 show an atmosphere that stays true to the series.

Assassin’s Creed Unity received brand new information and gameplay videos, as well as a release date. By checking out the videos you can see the greatest differences. This is the first game in the series to bring co-op, something that we are sure you’ll want to take a look at.

Battlefield Hardline also had a great showing, with gameplay, trailers and numerous other information. The beta for the game is already available for selected users, so get ready for a lot of action and fun.

Batman: Arkham Knight was another star for the show. The gameplay videos display a unique and very interesting game that you’ll have a lot of fun playing when it appears later this year.

Battlecry is a free to play game with a lot of action and brutality that we will be able to play sometime in 2015.

Of course, the new Call of Duty instalment was one of the headliners, as we had to see the latest additions to the multiplayer and single-player alike.

Civilization: Beyond Earth and Dead Island 2 are two games that we will have the opportunity to play at some point in the beginning of next year, or even faster.

Destiny was also presented at E3, this time with numerous gameplay trailers. On the other hand, the new DOOM title is one of those games that received only a brief trailer which says that the game will be presented at QuakeCon this year.

Dragon Age Inquisition received a release date which is at the beginning of October 2013. Another fan favorite, Evolve, got similar treatment, with lots of trailers that surely appealed to a lot of gamers.

Farcry 4 will be launched later this year and we can’t wait for that, while GTA 5 is finally coming to the PC. On the other hand, as this year’s E3 we were able to find about numerous other games, such as a new Halo, Homefront 2, two new Lara Croft games, but also about Lego Batman 3, which will be launched this November.

Another fan favourite, Little Big Planet will receive a new instalment soon. In addition, at E3 we also got to learn more about Metal Gear Solid V, the new Mass Effect, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Mirror’s Edge 2 and Mortal Kombat X.

The list concludes with No Man’s Sky, Phantom Dust, Rainbow Siege Siege, Scalebound, Skyforge and Battlefront, Uncharted 4, Sims 4 and the Witcher 3.

As you can see, this year’s E3 offered a massive list of games and something that’s really interesting, in the form of many new IPs. It will be interesting to see these games unfold and eventually release on the market. We are proud to be gamers in this generation, as amazing graphics at innovation were surely the main focus of the games at E3 this year.
