2014 E3 Day Two


While the second day of E3 is not as exciting as the first one, there are some new titles announced and new information has hit the floors regarding some other games, which surely makes the whole day worthwhile.

Nintendo’s conference today was interesting. We were able to find out quite a lot about their new games and plans. First of all, they are planning to launch a toy line, which we will surely collect, as the characters depicted are amazing. In addition, Pac-Man was announced as a fighter for Super Smash, Bros, Devil’s Third was announced as a Wii U exclusive, Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright releases in this August, but also we got to learn the fact that Bayonetta 2 will bundle the original game in the box, which is a great present from the developers and publishers to say the least.

Another Legend of Zelda title will be launched for the Wii U console, as well as a new title named Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

Naughty Dog, the developers of the Uncharted series gave us a great trailer created only with in-game footage in which we can clearly see some action from Uncharted 4: A thief’s end. This also marks the unveiling of the game, after months of speculation regarding the plot and characters, now at least we know the full name of the game. The Order: 1886 finally got a release date, and that is February 20 2015. We were also able to receive some details regarding the WWE 2k15 game, while also being able to see some footage from the new batman game Arkham Knight. In addition, Mortal Kombat is one of the main highlights of the day with multiple fatalities and a gameplay video being shown at E3.

Of course, we also got a unique teaser for the new Doom game which will be released at QuakeCon this year, as well as new games such as Dreadnought, a game from the Spec Ops: The Line developer.

Dragon Age was also one of the main highlights, with the new Inquisition title receiving important details such as its duration, which is around 50 hours, as well as numerous gameplay scenes.

The Serious Sam developer announced The Talos Principle, a first person puzzle game that places us into a mysterious world full of dangers.

Of course, the new Call of Duty also got some new information as well, this time through a trailer that talks about some fun changes made to the game mechanics. Obsidian got to show a new trailer for its Armored Warfare title which will surely appeal to a lot of war enthusiasts out there.

In conclusion, day 2 of this year’s E3 was also packed with lots of information and trailers, but the ones presented above are surely the most important and representative. We will be back very soon with more information on this year’s E3 so keep reading us.
