Valve and Adult Swim Tease Team Fortress 2 Collaboration

Valve and Adult Swim

Normally I’m a bit put off by announcements for upcoming announcements, but this past week Adult Swim put a promo stating that they are teaming up with Valve for “something that you’ll probably enjoy.” The promo features the mercenaries of Team Fortress 2, but other than that little is known about the collaboration.

Given Team Fortress 2’s cartoonish designs and over-the-top humor, it only seems natural that it be developed into an Adult Swim show. Awhile back, Valve released a series of videos profiles for the Team Fortress 2 classes. Could this project be an expanded version of those profiles? Perhaps a brand new animated series or maybe just a collection of shorts based off the game?

Valve has released profiles on all the TF2 characters so far, except the Pyro. When you go to sign up for Adult Swim’s newsletter, the Pyro is featured on the registration page. Could this be a hint that the project will in fact be a continuation of the TF2 character videos?

Adult Swim says, “To learn how their video game peanut butter will be getting in our network’s chocolate, come back next week.” Or, you can stay tuned to CheatCodes.com Extra! where we’ll keep you updated on everything regarding this video game and television Reese’s Pieces.
